Iron Man 2

Good soilded sequel here.Witth Robert Downey Jr on top form again and cracking some oneliners.Sam Rockwell is good but over plays he's part and Johansson is a bit under use and is a bit of eye candy for the boys.Some great action but not enough and seem less here then the first.I walked away happy but felt a little under weld, i love the first and i still think that is better but its Well worth seeing so go and enjoy.

Cop Out

Kevin Smiths first big studio movie starring Bruce Willis and the last time these two got together was on die hard 4.Start with Kevin smith, this is'nt the best movie hes ever made but its as the charm that we all love about he's movies,plus you get hes regular Jason lee popping up he too.Willis and morgan are a fun pair to watch and bounce off each other in comic style. The stand out for me was seann willam scott, very funny and a pleasure to watch any time. This movie reminds me alot of those classic buddy buddy movie i gru up on like the leathel weapon duo or trio u count. The one thing i was Kevin smith was a load to keep was the original title which was " a couple of dicks" but i believe the studio didn't feel it was good to keep that in.........shame. All in all a great movie and worth the recommendation.

Giallo

O M G what a piece of shit!!!!! I am sorry but Dario Argento is one of the wrost directors ever and rides the wagon with Uwe Boll. But at least boll is fun to watch! I have not seen any argento film that i liked but this is surly the worst of all. And adrien Brody W T F was he doing starring and producing in this.The two leads just stand there looking wooded and not intrested at all. The plot is flat and boring.Just stay away from this........you have been warned...

Dead Set (MINI-SERIES)

Saw this ages ago on channel 4 in 4 or 5 parts.its big brother mess up with 28 days later and with every other zombie pic throw in. This was made for british tv and there is no stopping the carage and gore that follows in its 2 and a half hrs run.I recommand to any zombire.horror fan to see this gem. Some in jokes will be lost to are american friends but that wont ruin the fan!

The Cove

Shocking is the word that this documentary is trying to get out. This movie kept me glued to the very end and you will see some unbelievable scenes that will shock you and disgust you. I don?t want to give anything away because if you don?t know too much about this then the shock value is a 10+!! I urge anyone that if you watch only one documentary this year then this as to be the one!

The House of the Devil

A great throw back to the early 80's style horror movies that might of played on late night tv or double feature at your local cinema. Its a slow burning movie that really only gets going towards the last 20-30 mins , but you do get a great climax to boot. There's not to many players in this but all involved do a great job. Tom Noonan and Mary Woronov are so creepy in there roles that it is a delight to watch.
Recommanded to all that love a slow building horror movie that high on style and nostalgia.

Death at a Funeral

Terrible!, i mean this remake of a 2007 English movie really shouldn't have been made! The original as great comic pace and that was due to the English humour but translate it over to American setting and everything is lost.Its a shame because there are so much talent on show here.I think it the story should of change because its a carbon copy of the original and anyone who seen the original will probably find this boring as i did as i could not stop comparing the two. They even have Peter Dinklage reprising he's role to, that really do'est make any sense.
I would recommend watching the 2007 original first and if you wanna check this one out too.But really don't brother.

The Girl Next Door

Starts off innocently like a nice time warp back to the 50's but after awhile it turn nasty. A great movie with a hard to watch story line and wont be to everyone's taste.The direction is good and it could of been more graphic but it was't and some things left to your own mind......which can be worst.The Two leads are fantastic and watch able,
There is another movie dealing with the same story called American crime which deals with the true life story that this was based on and is worth checking out too.
But this one is so worth your time and effort so check out this one first.;

Green Zone

Solid war movie from the Bourne star and director.On the plus side it feel less Bourne,did have the style granted but because Damon charter is just not jason bourne and matt demon being a fine actor convicted me of that.The movie is fast pace and and never really slows down.If you are looking for another Hurt Locker than this is not it. As this is more thriller with action.....more The kingdom. Not sure what the budget was but you can tell it was put to good use as the feel and look of the movie make you feel that you were in the mix.
All round descent thriller worth a look.

Zone of the Dead

Ok zombie movie with some good fx and zombies to boot.But the acting is very below par and the sets are nothing but second rate.The story is little to be desire for.Zombie flesh eaters had a better story and that's saying something. The only thing that i was surprised about was the camera work style on certain sense but after that there was the wobbly camera work which always make a bad film look a little better.

The Slammin' Salmon

Its a Broken Lizard film that should be enough said.You either love them or hate them. But this was pure comedy gold and had me in tears from the get go.There is crude humour and total slap stick to office here.There is touches of the movie "Waiting" but that because of the setting. Its not there strongest movie but its more straight forward comedy and belong up there with there last one Beerfest. If you havent seen a broken lizard movie check this one at first, Its a great no brainer and a good way to enjoy hour and a half.

Survival of the Dead

He is the only man who can make the right zombie movie and again prove he still got the touch.This one as more of a simple story than diary and land was.Its more tongue n cheek and got a few laughs a long the way which is refreshing.
Gore is plenty with some nice killings and the special effect are pretty good but not excellent for this low budget film.There is a nice cross over here from diary of the dead.All is all a good enrty in Romero dead series,not the best but enteraining or the same.
