Pulp Fiction

My all time favorite film, the movie that made watching films a hobby rather than a pass time for me. Its one of those films that get better over time and is more entertaining after multiple viewings.
The fact that when you know whats gonna happen and you know the awesome dialogue by heart makes it an even better experience to watch. Samuel Jackson, John Travolta, Harvey Keitel and Bruce Willis were all spectacular and in their prime, especially Jackson.
The only negative part of the film for me was that a few scenes could have been trimmed down to quicken the pace a bit such as the one at the 50s restaurant , if that scene was a bit shorter this film would be perfect.
I love films that you can just talk to your mates about for ages. Pulp Fiction is one of those films.

A masterpiece, it's very had to meet find someone who doesn't like this film. it can be appreciated on so many levels. When I studied this film in high school I must have watched it at least 5 times and I still didn't get sick of it. The acting by Tim Robbin and Morgan Freeman was outstanding, they create very endearing characters in Andy and Red. All the characters had so much depth and were interesting to watch, even the supporting characters such as Brooks who served as foils for the main cast could have had a film of their own. Warden Norton is one of the most memorable antagonists in film and you just love to hate him and see him get his just desserts from Andy at the end. The technical work was brilliant as well with awesome cinematography that gives the prison a life of its own. This is one of my favourite films of all time and the most respected piece of film work I've seen. A must see for anyone with a pulse.
