Woowwww my favorite movie of all time! I had read the books before I saw it so I understood the story and I always cry at the end (lol I know, weird movie to cry to, but it's an exception :P), it's sooo well done! The soundtrack and scenery are amazing, and I love the little jokes between Legolas and Gimli :P It's breathtaking, awe inspiring, spellbinding, wtv u can think of that resembles that :P The fight scenes were ok too, even though I hate those types of movies, I mean with too much action and violence.. but I was totally into it! (and I wish it could've been longer... the extended version was good :) )
I'm hopelesss when it comes to these types of movies. :P I watched it so many times when I was little that I remember every song by heart practically. Who doesn't love Anya, Pouka and Dimitri?
Rasputin's creepy, though.
I LOOOVE THIS MOVIE!!! Cary Elwes is so cute! ...but that's beside the point. The story is great and the actors are absolutely hilarious. :P Billy Crystal as Miracle Max and his "to bluff"... hahaha
The little boy with his grandpa, how he finds it gross when the charaacters kiss... hihi and "as u wish!" and "I am Inigo Montoya, u killed my father, prepare to die!" ...Who doesn't love this movie?!" :D I totally recommend it :)
Wooowwww!!! Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, des pirates!! Blue sea, pretty beach, forbidden treasure!!! Drink up me hearties yoho, yoho, a pirate's life for me!!! I looovee this movie soo much :) and it's a love story too!! Depp makes such an amazing Jack Sparrow :P
It's a chick flick, so naturally, I loved it lol but Rock n Roll Hootchie Koo, London Calling, great soundtrack! Oliver James :D this movie's too cute, although guys steer clear from it please :P
AMAZIIIING!!! I totally expected it to be less good than the first movie, but it was just as good, if not better! It was really funny, and I really didn't expect all of those things to happen... the ending was a shocker! can't wait for the third movie :D oh and my favorite scene is probably with the giant wheel thing
A great parallel to Strawberry Fields and Apple, the Beatles' Record label.
If you are a Beatles fan
you will
LOVE
this movie.
Otherwise, you might not enjoy it as much since you won't be able to sing a long with the rest of the audience or appreciate how the songs were interpreted.
The story is good and the music is even better, but you can't compare this movie to others seeing as it's on a whole other level; they had to make sense of beatles lyrics, which at times is very difficult to do considerign how random they can be.
I especially loved how they interpreted "She's So Heavy"... it was an excellent interpretation that made me smile like mad loll (I'm sure many people have already wondered what in the world The Beatles meant by it)
The visual aspect of it all is wonderful; the images are very abstract at times.
So sweet! The way it's filmed is simply spectacular, and the opening tune, Dawn, is one of my all-time faves. I love the way it's so british and polite and how they speak so eloquently.
It was so good that I read the book (which was, by the way, written about 200 years ago by Jane Austen when she was in her twenties... the movie is actually more 'spiced up' than the book, which u might be surprised to hear when u see how actually 'spiced up' the movie is... I'm refering to the love scenes lol) and I re-watched it after I finished the book and was still pleased with it :)
Anybody up for an old-fashioned tea-party, fancy dresses, hats and Brittish accent included? lol <3
I love this movie!! Not only is the animation amazing, but the soundtrack is great and the story is really good too! I especially love the scenes with the Gaul, the ice field and the gas columns in the nebula... oh and the planet at the end, and the Drej (pure energy! so cool!) loll :) This film is so underrated by ppl... its not a kids' movie with singing and stuff, in fact there's plenty of action lol I really love it! :D plus there's a little romance heehee lol
They won an oscar for best on-screen kiss... and boy didi they deserve it! I cried like a baby at the end (who didn't?) It's such a great love story! Ryan and Rachel have amazing chemistry together...
CHANNING TATUM IS SO HOOOOTTTTT! lollll He's really talented too (he plays soccer, dances, acts...)Amanda Bynes is a great actress too, really funny, love her, and the story's so cute! oh, and very very funny! I loved it!
Loved it :) A movie about coming up against all odds, about second chances, full of action, I wa son the edge of my seat, almost as much as the World Cup lol
Why do they always have to end good movies so badly?! Or if not badly, sadly :( Tim Burton's a genius!! Partered with Johnny Depp, they make Gems! Great movies, I mean :P
Hey come on did u hear their soundtrack? really funny :) the dragons are weird tho ll but come on, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller and Will Ferell! can it get any funier?! :P oh, and Snoop Dogg... interesting fashion :P (did u know iguanas grow back their tails? well the black guy read it in a magazine :P)
Although a little confusing, I liked Kill Bill... the fighting was soo... bloody lol but it wasn't just this guy walking in with a gun and shooting everybody, there's actual technique and skill and style... you can't help but feel sry for what's her name either... it was really good :)
I love it :) Such a sweet story, even though Leslie Caron isn't a top notch actress (she's an amazing dancer) the story, even though you'd think it wouldn't work at all (she befriends a bunch of puppets), is in fact wonderful :)
Christina Ricci is adorable with AND without Penelope's nose; all those boys were really exaggerating by running like that. But then again, there wouldn't be a movie if boys weren't afraid of pig noses.
What is there to say about James McAvoy except <3? :P
Even Peter Dinklage 's reporter character had a certain charm to him; there's a good guy under all that want for revenge.
I was glad to see Richard E. Grant: he finally got to play in a movie other than Spice World! His character was very endearing.
As for penelope's mother, she might be just a liiiittle overbearing. Just a little.
What billy says at the end sums up the whole movie, though: It's not the power of the curse - it's the power you give the curse.
