The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Woowwww my favorite movie of all time! I had read the books before I saw it so I understood the story and I always cry at the end (lol I know, weird movie to cry to, but it's an exception :P), it's sooo well done! The soundtrack and scenery are amazing, and I love the little jokes between Legolas and Gimli :P It's breathtaking, awe inspiring, spellbinding, wtv u can think of that resembles that :P The fight scenes were ok too, even though I hate those types of movies, I mean with too much action and violence.. but I was totally into it! (and I wish it could've been longer... the extended version was good :) )

P.S. I Love You 2007,  PG-13)
P.S. I Love You
I cried like a BABYYYYYYY!

I love it!

So endearing!

It makes you go through a whole range of emotions: you really feel for Holly. I couldn't help putting myself in her place.

The settings are wonderful, ranging from busy American streets to the beautiful sceneries of Ireland. A lot of th movie takes place in pubs.

The dynamics between the characters are great; I'm telling you, you really feel for them.

Take advantage of the time that's given to you, 'cause you never know when the ones you love will no longer be there.

P.S.

I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS MOVIE.

Across the Universe 2007,  PG-13)
Across the Universe
Strawberry Jams lol <3

A great parallel to Strawberry Fields and Apple, the Beatles' Record label.

If you are a Beatles fan

you will

LOVE

this movie.

Otherwise, you might not enjoy it as much since you won't be able to sing a long with the rest of the audience or appreciate how the songs were interpreted.

The story is good and the music is even better, but you can't compare this movie to others seeing as it's on a whole other level; they had to make sense of beatles lyrics, which at times is very difficult to do considerign how random they can be.

I especially loved how they interpreted "She's So Heavy"... it was an excellent interpretation that made me smile like mad loll (I'm sure many people have already wondered what in the world The Beatles meant by it)

The visual aspect of it all is wonderful; the images are very abstract at times.

Even the characters are named after songs :)

I LOVED it.

Pride and Prejudice 2005,  PG)
Pride and Prejudice
So sweet! The way it's filmed is simply spectacular, and the opening tune, Dawn, is one of my all-time faves. I love the way it's so british and polite and how they speak so eloquently.

It was so good that I read the book (which was, by the way, written about 200 years ago by Jane Austen when she was in her twenties... the movie is actually more 'spiced up' than the book, which u might be surprised to hear when u see how actually 'spiced up' the movie is... I'm refering to the love scenes lol) and I re-watched it after I finished the book and was still pleased with it :)

Anybody up for an old-fashioned tea-party, fancy dresses, hats and Brittish accent included? lol <3

Titan A.E. 2000,  PG)
Titan A.E.
I love this movie!! Not only is the animation amazing, but the soundtrack is great and the story is really good too! I especially love the scenes with the Gaul, the ice field and the gas columns in the nebula... oh and the planet at the end, and the Drej (pure energy! so cool!) loll :) This film is so underrated by ppl... its not a kids' movie with singing and stuff, in fact there's plenty of action lol I really love it! :D plus there's a little romance heehee lol

37
Lili 1953,  G)
Lili
I love it :) Such a sweet story, even though Leslie Caron isn't a top notch actress (she's an amazing dancer) the story, even though you'd think it wouldn't work at all (she befriends a bunch of puppets), is in fact wonderful :)
38
Bon Cop, Bad Cop 2006,  R)
Bon Cop, Bad Cop
:D:D:D:D hihi :D:D:D:D Best of two worlds! sooo funny! and OMG it's bilingual thk u thk u finally the perfect movie lol
39
Penelope 2006,  PG)
Penelope
Love it, love it, LOVE IT! :D
<3 <3 <3

Christina Ricci is adorable with AND without Penelope's nose; all those boys were really exaggerating by running like that. But then again, there wouldn't be a movie if boys weren't afraid of pig noses.

What is there to say about James McAvoy except <3? :P

Even Peter Dinklage 's reporter character had a certain charm to him; there's a good guy under all that want for revenge.

I was glad to see Richard E. Grant: he finally got to play in a movie other than Spice World! His character was very endearing.

As for penelope's mother, she might be just a liiiittle overbearing. Just a little.

What billy says at the end sums up the whole movie, though:
It's not the power of the curse - it's the power you give the curse.
