Plain and simple, these are my favorite movies. Some may not be pretty, or even that good, but by God I love them.

Aliens 1986, R)
James Cameron's flawless combination of action, suspense, deep storyline and complex characters make this my favorite movie of all time. Stan Winston's special effects are a Godsend in this balls-to-the-wall thriller as Siguourney Weaver and a group of colonial marines are thrust into the mouth of hell, surrounded by H.R. Giger's nightmarish creations. A flawless, endlessly entertaining movie. |

As a stand-alone film, it is still one of the most original sci-fi films in years, but as a Tv series finale, it's even better. I recommend ANYONE who found this movie remotely interesting to watch Firefly and be prepared to be that much more impressed. |
