They say its rare that a sequel lives up or surpasses the orginal, and the case with Star Wars, that was a tall order. However, The Empire Strikes Back proved that wrong, for it was better than the original movie, even as great a movie Star Wars was.

While it didn't live up to the first 2 movies, this one certainly held its own. Great action and special effects as always, not to mention the final battle between father and son, only to see the Anakin Skywalker redeemed for his mistakes and saves his son from certain death.

Saw the midnight showing, and I must say, it was worth it. The best one since the first Harry Potter movie. Seeing the 3 main stars grow together not only as their characters, but as actors is great. Very well done, now just need to wait and read the 7th and final book, The Deathly Hallows due out very soon.

I think this is the best Bond movie since Goldeneye, which consequently is my favorite, but this one goes back and tells how Bond got his Double O status; very gritty and dirty, rejuvenated the Bond franchise with great action and a very good story

I saw the movie at the 8 o'clock showing on the 2nd, and I must say, I was not disappointed, it was very well done. It was either gonna be awesome or a complete bust....and it was awesome! When they were transforming, it was just too cool to hear the old sound from the cartoon, and to get Peter Cullen, the original Optimus Prime from the toon, it was the icing on the cake. At the end, they left it open for a sequel, which I wouldn't be shocked if they did. Everyone applauded, as did I....and oh, be sure to stay for the beginning of the credits, some extra parts there for ya.

I really enjoyed the first one and enjoyed this one just as much. A worthy successor and all areound good movie, definitely need to see it if you liked the first movie.
