Well, I must say that I really enjoyed this film. Munroe and the crew brought the TMNT back to their dark/serious roots from the comics. It wasn't campy and kiddy like Part II, III, and the 1987 series. Notice how in every plot overview you read that the first thing said is that the family has grown apart. This was the main focus. The Leo v. Raph fight was amazing. Can't wait for TMNT 2 when they use the City at War arc!!!
I grew up watching the 1987 series and loved it as a kid. Now, not so much. What i love about this film is that I can still enjoy it as an adult now. The reason is that it found the perfect balance of being dark/serious like the comics and funny for kids. Unlike Part II and III.
Batman the way he was meant to be. No nipples, no Bat-shark repellent, and no goofy villains. He was badass. The story, acting, and action were awesome. A great intro to a reboot of the franchise.
This was pretty good. The animation was great. I found the story to be much more enjoyable than Superman Returns. I was actually sad when Superman died. I thought the fight could've been more intense though. Anne Heche took some getting used to. The Superman clone was kinda funny. Especially in the scene with the cat.
This film was a let down. Too much in a one film. I felt that the different storylines could've been more indepth. Eddie/Venom and Gwen Stacy were wasted characters. Why didn't we find out what happened to Sandman's daughter? This film was the funniest of the franchise though.
I really enjoyed this film. It was a little bit darker than most CGI kid films that have been realeased. I liked the use of motion capture and found it to be a very interesting way of making a CGI film.
This was much better than I expected. I'm surprised that Marvel didn't push this film as much as it did for the Spider-Man and X Men films. The pain of losing a family shown by Thomas Jane is great. I loved the action.
