Will Smith does an excellent job as Ali, and thankfully the story doesn't gloss over Ali's less salubrious characteristics and incidents. Yes, he was a hero, but a flawed one (all the best ones are!) and this movie depicts that well. |

Must have been a jaw-dropper in 1968, but didn't quite keep my attention enough. The ending is either so clever that I missed the point, or uber-artistic nonsense. Still, gets points for the vision, scale and direction. |
