Never thought a PG movie could be that creepy! Very well made, loved it. Really says something about society's stereotypes as well. Awesome flick.

Casualties of War
Wow, incredible movie. Extremely sad, and upsetting, very intense. I could watch it a million times though. There's just something about it. The acting is impeccable and its based on a true story. Can't get much better than that. This one really makes you think; especially about the atrocities of war and what is and isn't viewed as acceptable, even in a war zone. Classic.

This movie freaking rules. It has such a great story and cast and the soundtrack is absolutely divine. I don't know anyone who doesn't like this film. Funny at times, serious at times, but ALWAYS realistic and true to what teenagers go through. This will always be one of my favorite movies. If you haven't seen it, do it now!

I totally loved this movie. I actually watch it a lot, I am not sure how to explain it though. I just love it. It's creepy in a sense without being scary or bloody, it just makes you think, and leaves you with a "hmm" feeling at the end. I would recommend it.

The Girl Next Door
Wow, this movie was ASTOUNDING! There are absolutely no words to describe the impact this film had on me, and it's very hard to describe this movie in a way that would do it justice. It is absolutely incredible. I loved it. 100% perfect piece of film. It is so tragic and disturbing what happened to that young girl, and the saddest part is it's based on a true story (the real torture/murder of Sylvia Likens - in my state nonetheless.) I cannot even imagine. It is IMPOSSIBLE to imagine what it would be like to be that precious girl. The acting in this movie, in my opinion, was immaculate and heartwrenching. This film will rip your heart out and hand it to you. It deserves a lot of credit, as do all the actors. If you are easily disturbed, I wouldn't recommend this film. Otherwise, I think everyone should see it, because shit like this does happen, it's not make believe, you never know what could be happening in your neighbor's basement. The friendship between Meg and David was breathtaking. This is an incredible film that details, not only a brutal atrocity, but the effect that one person can have on your entire life, and how innocence can be lost in one night, or one horrific summer. I guarantee this movie will make you cry, or at least feel like you're going to. If not, you have no soul. Let this movie affect you, allow yourself to feel the emotions. I know many film viewers when watching certain movies, get a preconceived idea, and don't allow themselves to get sucked into the movie. But, for this movie, you really should. Perfect film; so, so sad. It will touch your heart in many ways.

Mysterious Skin
Wow. I don't think a movie could ever get better than this one. This is superb filmmaking, and don't even get me started on the acting. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is absolutely fantastic. Absolutely one of the best actors of this or any generation. I knew he was a star when I first watched him on TV in the early 90's. He is so uniquely talented. The rest of the cast is also very talented. I cannot say enough about this movie. Bittersweet, sad, disturbing at times, but altogether the truth about what goes on America everyday; and no one seems to notice, care or do anything about it. What a film. Definitely a favorite. One of the best movies I've ever seen or I'm sure ever will see. Highly recommended. Fabulous, breathtaking. Almost like a male version of 'Gardens of the Night', but even better. This film and its cast should win every award ever created.

Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy
Perfection. Wish some of the more famous actors would've been in it, but people always get a big ego and forget where they came from, so I should've expected it. I guess I expect more from people. But this is great. And I love that it's 4 hours long, not including special features. Bout time! :)
