It didn't make me want to make movies, but it made me think I can. A true classic, it describes the boredom of work and the way people in there early 20's get by so well. Just say it. 37...
On first viewing I thought it was overrated. months later, I rewatched and became a true believer. BTW, The Don is not dead, but made God an offer He couldn't refuse and is now Bill Gates.
Genius I tell ya. I remember getting to the last 10 minutes and pausing it. I knew how it had to end and for the first time, I genuinely thought of stopping a movie to keep from seeing it. I pressed play a minute later, and I almost cried. Beautiful film. I wish Southland Tales were as good.
Great Script. Perfect Casting and acting, no matter what I think about Peter Ghhallager. A Suburb is a weird thing, and this movie captures that perfectly.
A lot of people think this is better than the first. I disagree. I would like to think of Michael Corleone as a man of respect. A man to love. In this he's a man to fear, and on top of that, he's a real scumbag. Oh, Mike, how u let me down.
It's scary, the thought of losing the love of your life, then raising the thing that caused their death. It's a good thing you have Kev to make their conversations interesting, otherwise it'd be like pulling teeth to get me to watch it more than once. I think I'm on something like 6.
One of the most inspiring documentaries I've ever seen. Pumping iron made me want to start working out. This one reminded me of why I wanna make films.
Usually I'm hesitant about films set in one location, excluding Clerks. But like Clerks, I gave it a chance because I like the director. I was not disappointed, in fact, I really liked the tone and the dialog between the actors, who really impressed me as well.
A truly great martial arts movie, if only for the truly great martial artis Tony Jaa. Also has a lot of heart regarding Thais and their elephants. I personally want a rhino, but whatever...
I truly love this movie. It rocks. It's funny, It's kinda sad, and literally, it rocks. The Director, John Cameron Mitchell, adapts from his stage play. I wish I could say that I like John Cameron Mitchell. But I saw his second movie Shortbus. And I have to say, it's shit. Maybe time for a Hedwig sequel?
