Jaws 1975,  PG)
Jaws
I think the bravest thing anyone could do is go scuba diving with the "Jaws" soundtrack on your underwater walkman.I was in Kaui & I was scared to go in the water because I thought of this movie too damn much! And when I did go in, I looked around every once of awhile for a shark fin. Yeesh!
7
Batman 1989,  PG-13)
Batman
This is how Batman is suppose to be. Michael Keaton plays, arguably, the best Batman and Jack Nicholson is a great Joker although he is about 20 years to old and 30 lbs overweight. Kim Basinger's job is just to look pretty, which she handles well. And the less said about Robert Wuhl the better.
8
Uncle Buck 1989,  PG)
Uncle Buck
One of the movies I think about when I think about the Marc. I saw it about six times there. Viva la Marc!

L.A. Confidential
If this movie didn't come out in the same year as 'Titanic' it would have swept the Oscars

Unforgiven 1992,  R)

Sleepaway Camp 1983,  R)
Sleepaway Camp
So dumb it's funny! It basically takes place at a camp full of first time actors. Felicia Rose plays Angela and I may get mocked for this but this is actually good in the role. The others in this movie.... not so much. You have Angela's very foul mouthed cousin Ricky, a live version of Moe from "The Simpsons" as a very scuzzy camp counsler/owner, a nasty, big breasted slut who torments Angela, and other assorted stereotypes. The end is genius. It is the best thing about the movie and actually was shot very well (even if you can totally see it coming about a mile away). And if you look closely at one of the killings near the end, you can actually see the killer! Oops!

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo.) 1966,  R)
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo.)
Everyone should see this movie.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie 1996,  PG-13)
Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie
A missed opportunity. While I have no problem with "This Island Earth" being riffed on, I had a problem with the riffing itself. The had to use less jokes in it because "audiences wouldn't be able to keep up". This kind of Hollywood thinking is why we have so many dumbed down comedy to begin with. This movie is infamous for the level the studio messed with it and it shows. If you love the show like I do, this is a disappointment.

Duck Soup 1933,  Unrated)
Duck Soup
Seriously, I'm amazed at this movie. How did they get away with some of this humor in 1933?
