Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark is a 1981 American action-adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, produced by George Lucas, and starring Harrison Ford. It is the first film in the Indiana Jones franchise, and pits Indiana Jones (played by Ford) against the Nazis, who search for the Ark of the Covenant, in an attempt to make their army invincible.

Rush Hour 2 is a 2001 martial arts/action comedy film. This is the second installment in the Rush Hour film series. A sequel to the 1998 film Rush Hour, the film stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker who respectively reprise their roles as Inspector Lee and Los Angeles police detective James Carter. The film finds Lee and Carter embroiled in a counterfeit scam involving the Triads.

The Heartbreak Kid is a 2007 film directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, starring Ben Stiller and Malin Åkerman.Eddie (Ben Stiller), the owner of a sports shop, is single and indecisive about starting a relationship. He meets Lila (Malin Åkerman) and eventually date. They quickly become serious, as they seem perfect for each other and they are married. However, during their honeymoon, it becomes increasingly apparent to Eddie how mismatched the couple is.

X2 (2003) is a second film in the X-Men film series. Directed by Bryan Singer, it is the . The plot, pits the X-Men and their enemies, the Brotherhood, against the genocidal Colonel William Stryker (Brian Cox). He leads an assault on Professor Xavier's school to build his own version of Xavier's mutant-tracking computer Cerebro, in order to destroy every mutant on Earth.

Set during an unspecified time in the late-20th century, it tells of a woman (Michelle Yeoh) and her adopted daughter (Michelle Krusiec), living in the arctic tundra. The mother's voiceover explains early on, that a shaman said she was cursed at birth and would bring harm to anyone she cared for. Flashback scenes reveal how this has previously affected her life. One day the twosome finds an injured, starving soldier (Sean Bean). They save him from certain death and emotions are stirred in their cozy yurt.

Tears of the Sun is a war film, about a rescue mission by U.S. Special Force - Navy SEALs in the West African country of Nigeria amidst a civil war. Bruce Willis commands the team sent to rescue U.S. Doctor Monica Bellucci from the civil war en route to her jungle hospital. SEALS rescue the doctor along with her patients, but they are being attacked by the rebels enroute to the refuge camp. Did they made it - that's the movie. Not bad.

The movie is a military thriller about recovery of the Nuclear Warhead stolen from Russian Base by terrorist organization. Starring George Cloony (US Army Special Forces officer, Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Devoe) & Nicole Kidman (White House Nuclear Expert Dr. Julia Kelly ) in leading roles. Nice, fast, action packed movie. Good to watch.

Syriana uses multiple, parallel storylines, jumping from locations in Texas, Washington D.C., Switzerland, Spain, and the Middle East, categorizing the film as hyperlink cinema.

The film centers around an ensemble cast of characters as they narrowly escape multiple catastrophes in an effort to reach ships in the Himalayas, along with scientists and governments of the world who are attempting to save as many lives as they can before the disasters ensue.

Avatar is a 2009 American science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron, and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez. The film is set in the year 2154 on Pandora, a fictional inhabited Earth-like moon in a distant planetary system. Humans are engaged in mining Pandora's reserves of a precious mineral, while the Na'vi ? the sapient race of humanoids indigenous to the moon ? resist the colonists' expansion, which threatens the continued existence of the Na'vi and the Pandoran ecosystem.

Armageddon is a 1998 disaster/science fiction-action film about a group of blue-collar deep-core drillers who are sent by NASA to stop an Asteroid on a collision course with Earth. It was directed by Michael Bay, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It stars Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Michael Clarke Duncan, Peter Stormare and Steve Buscemi.

The Hunting Party (2007) is an action-adventure-thriller with dark comedy elements, starring Richard Gere, Terrence Howard, Diane Kruger. After years of covering one war after another, journalist Simon Hunt (Richard Gere) loses his composure during a live broadcast covering the Bosnian War. While his career spirals downhill, that of his long-time camera man Duck (Terrence Howard) goes in the opposite direction. Duck gets a cushy job at the network, while Hunt is left following war after war, unemployed, in an attempt to get back on top. K-19: The Widowmaker is a fact-based fictional movie 2002 about the first of many disasters that befell the Soviet submarine of the same name. The movie was directed by Kathryn Bigelow; the screenplay was written by Christopher Kyle, based on a story by Louis Nowra. In 1959, the Soviet Union launches its first nuclear submarine, the K-19 - nicknamed "The Widowmaker" due to many deaths that occurred during manufacturing. The ship is led by Captain Alexei Vostrikov (Harrison Ford), aided by executive officer Mikhail Polenin (Liam Neeson). One day, the ship's reactor cooling system starts to fail, leading the sailors to work together in order to both save the crew's lives as well as prevent a nuclear accident that could trigger World War III.

Quantum of Solace (2008) is the 22nd James Bond film by EON Productions and is the direct sequel to the 2006 film Casino Royale. Directed by Marc Forster, it features Daniel Craig's second performance as James Bond. In the film, Bond battles Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a member of the Quantum organisation posing as an environmentalist who intends to stage a coup d'état in Bolivia to take control of the nation's water supply. Bond seeks revenge for the death of his lover, Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), and is assisted by Camille Montes (Olga Kurylenko), who is also seeking revenge.

Apocalypto is a 2006 epic film directed by Mel Gibson and starring Rudy Youngblood. Set in Central America, during the declining period of the Maya civilization, Apocalypto depicts the journey of a Mesoamerican tribesman who must escape human sacrifice and rescue his family after the capture and destruction of his village. The performance of the Hero is extremely good. Also Dalia Hernández (Hero's wife) performance when heavy rain sets in, which begins to flood the ground cave in which she and son are still trapped and gives birth to a child.

Kate & Leopold is a 2001 romantic comedy picture about a story of a duke who time travels from New York in 1876 to the present and falls in love with a career woman in the modern New York. Starring stars Meg Ryan & Hugh Jackman.

The General's Daughter is a 1999 film starring John Travolta. The plot concerns the mysterious death of the daughter of a prominent general, reportedly based on a true story. When a general's daughter, an army captain in psychological operations, is found murdered, two warrant officers are brought in to investigate. The young woman was staked down with tent poles, strangled, and presumably raped. But what the investigators find is even more bizarre, relating back to her days at West Point and involving the general himself and his aide. The daughter's one confidant also ends up as an apparent suicide and is assumed to be the culprit. Cover-ups and sexual scandals rampage throughout the film.

The Hitcher is a 1986 horror / thriller film, directed by Robert Harmon and written by Eric Red. Jim Halsey (C. Thomas Howell), a young man delivering a car from Chicago to San Diego, spots a man hitchhiking and gives him a ride. The man, John Ryder (Rutger Hauer), is a brooding, soft spoken man; when Jim passes a stranded car, however, Ryder's personality suddenly shifts. Ryder calmly states that the reason the car is stranded is because he murdered and mutilated the driver, and he intends to do the same to Jim. Did he escape?

Hotel Rwanda is a 2004 historical drama film about the hotelier Paul Rusesabagina (played by Don Cheadle) during the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. And it is listed by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 most inspirational movies of all time.

It is about A true story of a man who fought impossible odds to save everyone he could and created a place where hope survived. The true-life story of Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel manager who housed over a thousand Tutsi refugees during their struggle against the Hutu militia in Rwanda.

Life Is Beautiful (Italian: La vita è bella) is a 1997 Italian language film which tells the story of a Jewish Italian, Guido Orefice (played by Roberto Benigni, who also directed and co-wrote the film), who must employ his fertile imagination to help his son survive their internment in a Nazi concentration camp.

One of the best movies.

Lord of War is a 2005 political crime thriller film written and directed by Andrew Niccol which stars Nicolas Cage. Cage plays an illegal arms dealer and the film

was officially endorsed by the human rights group Amnesty International for highlighting the trafficking of weapons by the international arms industry. The movie delas with illegal arms trafficking & its adverse effects.

Kingdom of Heaven is a 2005 epic film, directed by Ridley Scott and written by William Monahan. It stars Orlando Bloom, Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, David Thewlis, Edward Norton, Michael Sheen and Liam Neeson. The story is set during the Crusades of the 12th century. A French village blacksmith goes to aid the city of Jerusalem in its defense against the Muslim and Kurdish leader Saladin, who is battling to reclaim the city from the Christians.

Bicentennial Man is a 1999 dramedy film starring Robin Williams and Sam Neill based on the well-known novella of the same name by Isaac Asimov. The film follows the evolution of the android robot Andrew Martin (Robin Williams) from his introduction into the Martin family and interaction with them through four generations: discovery of his emotional and creative abilities, development into an artist and inventor, evolution into an android, his fight to win legal recognition for his humanity, and ultimate destiny. Based on the novel The Positronic Man, co-written by Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverberg which is itself based on Asimov's original novella titled The Bicentennial Man, the plot explores issues of humanity, slavery, prejudice, maturity, intellectual freedom, conformity, sex, love, and death.

Red Sorghum is a 1987 Chinese film about a young woman's life working on a distillery for sorghum liquor. It is based on a novel by Mo Yan. The film marked the directorial debut of internationally acclaimed filmmaker Zhang Yimou, and the acting debut of film star Gong Li. With its lush and lusty portrayal of peasant life, it immediately vaulted Zhang to the forefront of the Fifth Generation directors.

Mackenna's Gold is a 1969 western film directed by J. Lee Thompson, starring Gregory Peck, Omar Sharif, Telly Savalas, Camilla Sparv and Julie Newmar. It tells the story of how the lure of gold corrupts a diverse group of people. The film was photographed in Super Panavision 70 by Joseph MacDonald, with original music by Quincy Jones. The story is very loosely based around the legend of the Lost Adams Diggings.

The Guns of Navarone is a 1961 film based on the 1957 novel of the same name about World War II by Scottish thriller writer Alistair MacLean. It stars Gregory Peck, David Niven and Anthony Quinn, along with Anthony Quayle and Stanley Baker. The book and the film share the same basic plot: the efforts of an Allied commando team to destroy a seemingly impregnable German fortress that threatens Allied naval ships in the Aegean Sea, and prevents 2,000 isolated British troops from being rescued.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, is a 1966 Italian epic spaghetti western film directed by Sergio Leone, starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach in the title roles. The film centers on the fictional 'Isla Nublar', in Costa Rica, where John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) and his team of genetic engineers have created an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs. Sabotage sets the dinosaurs loose, and the technicians and visitors attempt to escape the island.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a 1997 science fiction thriller film, directed by Steven Spielberg based on the 1995 novel by Michael Crichton. The film stars Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore, Vince Vaughn and Richard Attenborough. The film picks up four years after the events of Jurassic Park. Hammond summons Malcolm to his home, where he reveals the existence of Site B, Isla Sorna - the facility where the dinosaurs were actually engineered, before being sent to Isla Nublar when mature. The island was abandoned after a hurricane wiped out most of the facilities, and the creatures have been living in the wild ever since. A mercenary group desires to capture and bring the dinosaurs to the mainland. John Hammond, who has lost control of his InGen company, sees a chance to redeem himself for his past mistakes and sends an expedition led by Dr. Ian Malcolm to reach the island before the mercenaries get there. The two groups confront each other in the face of extreme danger and must team up for their own survival in a race against time.

Jurassic Park III is a 2001 film and the third and final in the Jurassic Park franchise. It is the only film in the series that is neither directed by Steven Spielberg nor based on a book by Michael Crichton, though numerous scenes in the movie were taken from Crichton's two books, Jurassic Park and The Lost World. The film takes place on Isla Sorna, the island from the second film, after a divorced couple hires Dr. Alan Grant to help them find their son.

Platoon is a 1986 war film written and directed by Oliver Stone and starring Tom Berenger, Willem Dafoe and Charlie Sheen, with an early appearance of Forest Whitaker and a small supporting turn from Johnny Depp. Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) is a young American who has abandoned college for combat duty in Vietnam. Worn down by the exhausting work and poor living conditions, his enthusiasm for the war wanes and he develops an admiration for the more experienced soldiers, despite their reluctance to extend their friendship.

Breach is a 2007 American docudrama directed by Billy Ray. The screenplay by Ray, Adam Mazer, and William Rotko is based on the true story of Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent convicted of spying for the Soviet Union and later Russia for more than two decades, and Eric O'Neill, who worked as his assistant and helped bring about his downfall. O'Neill served as a consultant on the film.

Single White Female is a 1992 thriller based on John Lutz's novel SWF Seeks Same. The movie stars Bridget Fonda, Jennifer Jason Leigh & Steven Weber and is directed by Barbet Schroeder. Alison "Allie" Jones (Bridget Fonda) is a software designer looking for a roommate. She gets on the shy Hedra "Hedy" Carlson (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who, in Allie's eyes, is the ideal roomie but she did'nt know what she got with.

Reservoir Dogs is a 1992 crime film and the debut of director and writer Quentin Tarantino. It depicts the events before and after a botched diamond heist, though not the heist itself. It incorporates many themes and aesthetics that have become Tarantino's hallmarks: violent crime, pop culture references, memorable dialogue, profuse profanity, and a nonlinear storyline.

Where Eagles Dare is a 1968 World War II action-adventure spy film starring Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood, and Mary Ure. It was directed by Brian G. Hutton. Best-selling author Alistair MacLean wrote the novel and the screenplay of Where Eagles Dare at the same time. In the winter of 1943-44, U.S. Army Brigadier General George Carnaby is captured by the Germans when his aircraft is shot down. He is taken to the Schloß Adler (The Castle of the Eagles - hence the story's title), a fortress high in the Alps above the town of Werfen and the headquarters of the German Secret Service in southern Bavaria. A special team of mainly British commandos is hurriedly assembled and led by Major John Smith, MC and US Army Ranger Lieutenant Morris Schaffer. Their mission is to parachute into the locality, infiltrate the Schloß Adler, and rescue General Carnaby before the Germans can interrogate him.

Slumdog Millionaire is a 2008 British film directed by Danny Boyle. It is an adaptation of the novel Q & A (2005) by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup. Set and filmed in India, the film tells the story of Jamal Malik, a young man from the Juhu slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Kaun Banega Crorepati in the Hindi version) and exceeds people's expectations, thereby arousing the suspicions of the game show host and of law enforcement officials.

3 Idiots is a 2009 Bollywood comedy film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, with a screenplay by Abhijat Joshi, and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It was loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. 3 Idiots stars Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Omi Vaidya, Parikshit Sahni and Boman Irani.

MONSTER'S BALL is a hard hitting Southern drama tempered by a story of powerful, life-changing love. It is the story of Hank (Billy Bob Thornton), an embittered prison guard working on Death Row who begins an unlikely, but emotionally charged affair with Leticia (Halle Berry), the wife of a man he has just executed. The film is directed by Marc Forster.

Insomnia is a 2002 American remake of the 1997 Norwegian film. The film was directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Academy Award winners Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Hilary Swank. Two LAPD detectives, Will Dormer (Al Pacino) and Hap Eckhart (Martin Donovan) are sent up to assist the local police investigating a murder in Nightmute, Alaska. The investigation goes horribly wrong when he mistakenly shoots his partner and subsequently attempts to cover up his bungle. The title of the film refers to his inability to sleep, the result of both his guilt and the relentless glare of the midnight sun.

50 First Dates is a 2004 American romantic comedy film directed by Peter Segal. It stars Adam Sandler as a woman-chasing veterinarian and Drew Barrymore as an amnesiac. Henry meets Lucy Whitmore (Barrymore), a local art teacher, in a café. They hit it off and agree to meet the next day, but when Henry returns, Lucy has no memory of him or their previous meeting.

The film revolves around newlyweds Carl and Molly Peterson (Matt Dillon and Kate Hudson). After Carl's best man and friend Randolph Dupree

(Owen Wilson), loses his job and apartment, the couple allow him to move in but Dupree inevitably overstays his welcome.

Definitely, Maybe is a 2008 romantic comedy film directed by Adam Brooks, and starring Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher, Rachel Weisz.Will Hayes (Ryan Reynolds) is a 38-year-old father who is in the midst of a divorce. After her first sex-ed class, his 10 year old daughter Maya (Abigail Breslin) insists on hearing the story of how her parents met. Will gives in, but decides to change the names and some of the facts relating to the various love affairs of his youth, thereby creating a love mystery; Maya is left guessing which of the women will turn out to be her mom. The story he tells Maya is depicted in long flashbacks. From time to time the film switches back to the present, where Maya comments and asks questions.

Rules of Engagement is a 2000 American film directed by William Friedkin, and starring Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson and Guy Pearce. The movie, a military, political, and legal drama, is about Marine Colonel Terry Childers, played by Jackson, who is brought to court-martial on charges of disobeying the rules of engagement in a military incident at an American embassy in Sana'a, Yemen, resulting in the slaughter of many civilians by Childers' men.

A Las Vegas-set comedy centered around three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures, then must retrace their steps in order to find him.

Shutter Island is a 2010 American psychological thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as U.S. Marshal Edward "Teddy" Daniels, with his newly assigned partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) investigating a psychiatric facility located on the island named in the title for the disappearance of Rachel Solando, a patient who apparently vanished from a locked room. Dr. John Cawley (Ben Kingsley), the head psychiatrist, explains that Rachel was institutionalized after drowning her three children.
