A fantastic re-enactment of Britain's most desperate hour. It shows the human side of conflict and loss on both sides. It shows the civilian impact, and tells the tale of millitary strategy and tactics which turned the tide. Great cast. and they actually used real planes in these days. No CGI here!

27
Shakespeare in Love 1998,  R)
Shakespeare in Love
I really like this film. (despite the title it's not a chick only flick). It's funny and clever!
I have studied quite a bit of shakespear so I got most of the referances to his plays, and it was a film written by Tom Stoppard. He is a clever writter able to bring out unexpected twists and crossovers. Most importantly, the ending is realistic! Not a hollywood ending!

Great completion of the trillogy (although they were all filmed at the same time and the lot should be thought of as one film). very close to the book, especially the extended edition.
