1	The Godfather 1972, R) One of the best films of all time. Marlon Brando gives his most memorable performance.
2	The Godfather, Part II 1974, R) An outstanding film. The Godfather series should have stopped here. The best sequel of all time.
3	Fargo 1996, R) A superb and intelligent black comedy directed by the Coen Brothers.
4	The Matrix 1999, R) An excellent film followed by disappointing sequels that couldn't stand up to the first one. A truly original film at the time of its released, only to be ripped off by countless imitators.
5	The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo.) 1966, R) A magnificent and grand spaghetti western.
6	The Usual Suspects 1995, R) An exceptional, but sometimes convoluted thriller that contains some great twists and turns.
7	Citizen Kane 1941, PG)
8	The Silence of the Lambs 1991, R) An excellent, masterful suspense film starring Anthony Hopkins as the unforgettable villain Hannibal Lecter.
9	Planet of the Apes 1968, G) A campy, but fun Sci-fi film with a great twist.
10	Oldboy 2004, R) A fantastic, ultra-violent South Korean thriller with a theme of vengeance that has some disturbing and depraved twists throughout. From start to finish the film is very engaging. It doesn't drag and never gets boring. Overall, the film is quite unsettling and unnerving. This is due to the films thematic content and the way the storyline eventually plays itself out. Oldboy is bold, intense, audacious and brilliant. An excellent film.

14	The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 2002, PG-13) Best fantasy trilogy ever
15	The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003, PG-13) Best fantasy trilogy ever. Best film of the series.
16	Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark) 1981, PG) A terrific adventure film. Indiana Jones is an iconic movie character.
17	Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989, PG-13) A worthy sequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark. I like Temple of Doom, but not as much as the Last Crusade. This one has Sean Connery in a memorable performance as Indiana Jones' father as well.
18	Terminator 2: Judgment Day 1991, R) It's better than the first. This doesn't happen that often with movies.
19	Apocalypse Now 1979, R) Possibly the best Vietnam war movie of all time with a memorable turn by Marlon Brando near the end of the movie as the insane Colonal Kurtz. The movie displays how nightmarish war can really be.
20	Alien 1979, R) Classic sci-fi horror film that works as well as it did when it first came out many years ago. I've always liked the movie's tag line which says "In space no one can hear you scream". Directed by Ridley Scott.
21	Aliens 1986, R) Sequel to the classic sci-fi horror film alien. This movie is more action oritented than the first one and it's just as effective. Directed by James Cameron.

100	Face/Off 1997, R) Director John Woo's best English language movie to date. His American films haven't been as good quality wise as his Hong Kong ones which were highly influential and reinvented the action genre. This is a fun movie with lots of action. John Travolta and Nicholas Cage have a lot of fun with their roles by mocking each other as soon as the screenplay and plot calls for it. The role reversal plot is carried out in a very entertaining way.
