Like a David Lynch film, Bergman's Persona is to be experienced rather than understood. As a result, I'm not really sure what I think of the film. It's definitely intriguing well-acted, well-written, nicely shot, but also confusing not always that subtle. But the best thing is, because of it's ambiguity, it's really re-watchable.

It took me a while to realize it, but Mary & Max isn't really a film at all. It's more like the audio book of a short story - with visuals. It has a constant voice-over (I can't remember the characters actually speaking any dialogue), and you could pretty much understand the whole story if you closed your eyes for 90 minutes. But if you leave them open, you see a brilliantly animated little tale about loneliness and friendship.
