Out of the thousands of movies I have seen. This one had the biggest impact on me. It made me laugh, cry, cheer, and took me on a thrill ride. Natalie Portman's first role as a homeless and broken 12 year old is very moving and Jean Reno plays Leon with prestige. With Gary Oldman as a corrupt cop creating havoc amongst the city, Leon and Matilda seek revenge against him for the murder of Matilda's drug dealing family. Leon's mild temper and kind heart coax's him into battle for young Matilda's heart. As an action packed war insues, Matilda is kept hostage after the antogonist Oldman finds her trying to finish what he had started. This film makes me laugh, cry, and stand for an ovation. A better Luc Besson film will not be made.
One of the best movies ever made. Crime, money, drugs, comedy. I honestly think that Tarantino will never make a better film. The characters are amazing, the stories are fantastic. The dialogue is beyond perfect. It's a masterpiece.
