So ridiculous I couldn't even keep watching it on one of the movie channels at 2 in the morning. A sucky rip-off of Anaconda.

A decent enough tale of survival based on true events as 3 people are stranded when attacked by a crocodile. It's ok but a lil too long and the interest starts to go after a while. Only so much tension you can build about people stuck in a tree avoiding a crocodile!

lAfter discovering a passenger ship missing since 1962 floating adrift on the Bering Sea, salvagers claim the vessel as their own. Once they begin towing the ghost ship towards harbor, a series of bizarre ocurrences happen and the group becomes trapped inside the ship, which they soon learn is inhabited by a demonic creature.




This movie was extremely horrible. The plot revolves around a rag-tag group of ocean salvagers who are given the opportunity to salvage a gigantic ocean liner. This isn't just any ocean liner, it's an Italian ship that was bound for the US in 1962 and vanished from the face of the earth. No survivors were ever found much less the ship itself. To make a long story short, the team of salvagers board the ship to find nothing but remnants; no corpses just their belongings. More eerie, all the life boats and life vests were gone, suggesting that the passengers jumped ship. However, no survivors were ever found. Strange huh? Anyway, they board the ship that is apparently haunted by a demon who likes to eat souls. Once he fills his quota, he can return to hell. He has devoured the souls of the passengers, now he's hungry for the souls of the salvagers. All of this unfolds in a slow, unintersting narrative that doesn't build any tension or terror. You're better off watching the Ring. A much more terrifying picture of 2002.

The fact that anyone even thought to make a movie about man-eating zombie sheep makes this movie a must-see on its own. On top of that, it's actually a really good watch. Bloody, hilarious, and carrying a pretty clear message. But seriously, it's about man-eating zombie sheep can you possibly make an excuse not to watch it?

Like in part one, it's the liberal thinking, seemingly weak characters that develop into the true heroes, which makes the body count order a tad predictable but is still nice to see. Once the soldiers enter the mines, things get very repetitive, sadly. Once again there is rape, then lots of dark tunnels, that all look the same, the final battle with the meanest of the mutants is quite similar to the one from part one. Remember, when a giant pervert strangles you but has an open head wound, poke it. So after a good start the second half disappoints, but at least Jessica Stroup is extremely gorgeous to look at.

Usually hideous bimbos Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba are harmless, specially Biel, who is pretty funny. Alba is just there. Being bitchy. Nothing to write home about.

The screenplay is everything you'd expect from a movie with this plot and directed by Garry Marshall: cheese, cheese, cheese. But it's not a bad cheese, and there are some pleasant surprises: both Julia Roberts and Hathaway's plotlines are a breath of fresh air in romantic comedies and Emma Roberts & Carter Jenkins' story could easily have its own film.

You know you're going to see it. Don't worry: you'll enjoy it.

Having seen so many films, I was surprised, it clearly presents The Blob as a creature that will kill anyone. I loved the effects and the slight twists on the original, giving The Blob a slightly different origin. They'll make a fine double feature that I'll be happy to sit through. It creeps and leaps...

I've taken this stance that infection-based zombies should be allowed in the zombie genre, but this film has no zombies, just an infection. This is a straight post-apocalyptic drama that aims for the profound though it was marketed as an infected zombie horror.

The only exception to this terribly slow and uneventful movie is one standout scene where the older brother finally lays out how much shit he has done to spare the younger brother the torment of morally ambiguous actions. It's a clear message about moral relativism and how a post-apocalyptic climate reveals the selfish survivalist instinct that dominates human actions. Too bad this has been done better hundreds of times before and will continue to be done better with far smaller budgets and even less talented actors (and that says a lot when you judge the poor caliber of the acting here).

If you MUST see every apocalypse film made, then I suppose you are obligated to watch this, but that is the only condition under which anyone should be forced to sit through this uneventful disaster.

The long stretched road of death, in which the supernatural await in every corner of the shadowy, cold, and dreary woods that surround around it. As the Harrington family drive to Frank's in-laws house for the Christmas season, Frank takes a shortcut that will lead the family on a detour to hell! Suddenly, the road never ends. They always end up back where they started. And to top it all off, they're being harassed by seemingly evil entities, and a mysterious black Cadillac hearse. Can the Harrington family bind together, keep their sanity, and be able to survive the horrors in the town of Marcott??

Dead End is creepy, funny, and one hell of a little thrill ride! Ghoulishly, and mystifying, dark cinematography. Good enough acting for what it is(better than most DVD premieres of it's kind), and never becomes distracting from telling it's own story(an amazing story by the way). This is the worst remake for a horror film.The acting was bad that includes Sid Haig(Not like he's a good actor).The make-up for few zombies is not even that good with green faces & others looks like zombie costume taken from a local shop.The dialog is beyond horrible & the score stays the same for every scene that becomes annoying.No creativity or concept to make this work at any level.I thought Day of the dead 2:Contagium was a joke but this one is a insult to George Romero.

A great collection of Halloween tales that overlap each other on one Halloween night in a small town. It has some great moments in the 4 main stories, mixing up an urban ghost story, scary creatures, slasher and just the plain weird. It has a good cast including Brian Cox looking...( read more) a little John Carpenter like and Anna Paquin of True Blood. The film also reminds the viewers of the reasons behind some of the traditions. A bit short at 80mins but very enjoyable, one of the best horror anthologies around! This could become a cult film taking into account it didn't get a cinema release....who knows why!? Plenty of extras on the DVD as well.

The film delivers several creepy & gory moments that are very effective besides some great performances by the cast.What i didn't get was a good explanation related to the sacrifice & a ending that was totally a disappointment but other that,it was a enjoyable & gruesome horror film.

A brilliant film, the type the cinema was made for! It has the same kind of wow factor the Matrix had when that first came out. In many ways it has some similarities to that, great visual effects, awesome action scenes and entering a universe via your mind. It sounds more complic... read moreated in theory than it is in practice. A team of people can join a persons dream in order to try and find out secret information. In a dreamworld though nearly anything can be possible, and trying to convince the dreamer it is in fact reality can prove difficult. It has a great cast, but most of all it is an engrossing story and idea that will keep you entertained for the full 148 mins, It really doesn't feel that long though. Maybe it is a tad long, and you might question some of the theories, or parts of the plot. However these are very minor details to what is one of the best films to have been released in years!!

Few people are greater Romero devotees than me, which is why it's a worse fate than a zombie bite for me to have to first watch and then review this movie. Had a extremely young first time film-maker, an only time film-maker, or a fan group made this, it might have been considere... read mored marginally good and might have even earned them a shot at legitimate directing. From a master such as Romero, this is a sign that the man no longer has any interest in film, and he is begging us for a mercy kill like so many of his characters. This is little more than an exercise in emulating the cheesiest of bad film-making and a game of "what marginally amusing and creative zombie kill can I do next with shitty CG and bottom tier squibs?"

I am beyond shocked how terrible this attempt at a movie is. At this point, I think it is depressing that this film earned distribution, and I realize now that any of us ever cared about this film only because it was Romero. Well, it's not Romero anymore, kids. It's just a zombie wandering about doing what he vaguely recalls doing in life.

I was expecting much more from this film. It seemed promising and it looked great visually, but something was missing and I'm not entirely sure what. I just wasn't engaged enough throughout.

I had got to the point where I was utterly sick of these films. I beleived they had run well past their sell by date and I had had enough. "Vertige" is a french horror/thriller in the vein of "Wrong Turn", "The Hills Have Eyes", "The Descent" and many more. The flick offers good acting, beautiful landscapes, good action sequences, suspense and some gore.

I preferred this more than the last one to be honest. Although that might be because I saw it at IMAX in 3D. The 3D elements work really well and add to the sense of being in the action, seeing the guns popping right out of the screen. The story in the film is very weak to say the least. However as a 3D roller coaster ride for the eyes, it's an entertaining action film.

The movie is well shot and decently acted for its genre, but it lacks the distinctive vision to make it of value to anyone not already convinced of the inherent entertainment value in flying body parts.

This was a good movie, tense and strong till the end. I am sorry but as a father of two kids the ending was just not appropriate in my eyes. !:)

Land Of The Dead, the fourth entry in Romero's zombie series a very different take on zombie films of the past. It seems with this film, zombies have a thought pattern and are smarter than your average living dead. What better way to give an upgrade to the zombie genre than mister George Romero Himself. Ever since the release of Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later, Zombie are even more deadlier than what we've seen in the past. Which is the case in Land Of The Dead, Romero's zombies are smarter and a bit more deadlier than his previous film, its quite the departure from his previous works. For example, just to show how smart his zombies are in this film, one of them actually fires a machine gun. It's a very intriguing new take in the zombie genre, and I'm sure we have Danny's Boyle's film to thank for that. Thats what makes Land Of The Dead a very good film, it's originality and it's refreshing new take on trying a different concept, i.e smarter, deadlier zombies make this film a wicked original along with 28 Days Later. Land Of The Dead has a strong cast of actors complimenting this new tale of zombie mayhem, Denis Hopper, John Leguizamo, Asia Argento and Boyd Banks. A thrilling new take on zombie film created by the man who started it all, George A. Romero.

The story idea was interesting but the movie was pretty slow. There was a little too much skin in the flick for me. It seemed that all the relationships in the movie were based all on the sexual aspect.
I wanted to like the flick as I like both of the main characters but it really wasn't for me.

completely handheld zombie movie that I like. How often does someone who so much hates the handheld horror style and is so critical of anything zombie movie remotely like a movie done this way? Not since "Diary of the Dead". [REC] did NOT meet my standards by any means. I might... read more get accused of bias towards slow zombies and non-linear storytelling, but both of those things, done right, makes for a better film than a decent linear verite with fast zombies. Leave full real-time verite for serial killer movies, and fast zombies for cheap-o apocalyptic scifi thrillers or horror genre parodies.

There are cooler zombie shots in this than in "Diary of the Dead". Obviously the closeups of Diary were better, but the hordes in this scare and shock like the original "Night". This movie has one of the best nightshot scenes in horror film (when the farm-camp becomes unraveled), definitely the best indie work I've seen (yeah, I like the angle and orchestration **way** better than the ending of "Blair Witch").
For zombie lovers, a must see that captures the strangeness and insanity of surviving in a zombie world. Don't know why they're re-making [REC] into Quarantine instead of just putting this movie, as is, out in American theatres ('tis a British film). $neel$:)
