Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
This was a must see! Johnny Depp has an Oscar worthy performance here and Helena Bonham Carter is right up there too. I am a big fan of the original Broadway production with Angela Landsbury and think this is equally grand. Tim Burton and Depp are again a perfect match. Johnny Depp is someone that even myself overlook all too often, he so versatile and a true great actor....go see this movie!!!!

Libeled Lady 1936,  Unrated)
Libeled Lady
This has to be one of my favorite screwball comedies. This grand film from MGM studios stars the best coupings of; Myrna Loy, Williams Powell. Spencer Tracy, & Jean Harlow.

I love this film and it is truly a flm on top of my MUST SEE list. No matter in this comedy whom you end up with you are a winer no matter what. Other than the hit Thin Man series this is the other best vehicle for Loy & Powell. And the powers of Harlow & Tracy make it a very special comedy with great costumes, funny story line and more. Check this comedy staple out!

This movie directed by Michael Hoffman shows you what happens behind closed doors on a soap opera....apparently another drama ensues...too funny!

22
Presumed Innocent 1990,  R)
Presumed Innocent
Presumed Innocent starring Harrison Ford, Raul Julia, Bonnie Bedelia, Greta Scacchi, and Brian Dennehy is a very good crime drama. I have read the best selling novel from Scott Torrow over a decade ago and it quickly became one of my favorite reads...the film does it justice.

The film centers on a very good prosecutor finds that a one time affair with another up and coming prosecutor is found deas is caught up in a very lengthy scheme of whom killed her. There are many lies and twist and turns that will find you very interested in this film from start to finish...a very godo casting for the film as well....very well done...see it!!
