4
Inception 2010,  PG-13)
Inception
"Mind-blowing, visually striking, smart, very complex and one of the greatest movies ever made. Christopher Nolan is freaking genius. Hans Zimmer's score is outsanding and oscar-worthy. Leo Dicaprio was amazing, Ellen Page was great, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy were badass. Cillan Murphy and Ken Watanabe were great as well. Marion Cotillard gives the best performance of the movie, I see another Oscar nod for her. Inception is one of those rare films that dares you to watch it 3 or even 4 more times. Poweful ending as well."
5
Avatar 2009,  PG-13)
Avatar
"One of the best movies i've ever seen One of my most anticipated movies in a while is one of the best, most epic, gorgeous film i've ever seen. The visual are nothing like you've seen before, the storyline is solid, the acting is good & the action is very exciting. I don't think there will be another James Cameron (a sequel is in talks, bring that one right on) but for now, this is his best film he's ever achieved. Movie is perfect, one of the greatest films of all-time."

Ratatouille 2007,  G)

Superbad
"To this date these are still Jonah Hill, Michael Cera & Christopher Mint-Plasse aka Mclovin best performances. Superbad is my fave comedy of all-time, it's so extremely funny that it will make you break in tears of all the laughing you made"!
10
Transformers: Dark of the Moon 2011,  PG-13)
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
"The longest, darkest, surprisingly well-acted & most badass Transformers flick yet. Loaded with amazing visually stunning effects, ridiculous (but funny) new characters & more robots than ever (LOTS of them in this). Reprising actors: Shia LaBeouf gives another solid performance as Sam, Josh Duhamel is pretty good, John Turturro is very funny again as Simmons & Tyrese as Sgt. Epps (who doesn't appear on screen about until the last hour of the film) was excellent here than in Revenge Of The Fallen (barely had a script in that) but not as funny than he was in the first movie, very serious here. Bay adds some Oscar-winning actors and a Megan Fox replacement. Frances McDormand as Charlotte was annoying at first but got better as the movie went along, John Malkovich was disappointing here (he usually makes each of his characters work but not this one), Patrick Dempsey seemd out of place probably miscast, Ken Jeong has limited role but has one of the funniest scenes in the movie & Alan Tudyk as Dutch gives the best performance of the whole new bunch, he's really good here.

Megan Fox's replacement (who's yes a replacement but a new character), Rosie Huntington (who also was model like Megan but underwear model) as Carly (Sam's new girlfriend) was surprisingly decent here, sometimes bad acting but decent (i've bashed about her a lot of her being nowhere close gorgeous looking as Megan & her possibly ruining the movie but she didn't), plus i found a her a little sexy."

Dark Of The Moon is definitely the best movie of the 3, plenty of humor & very good action especially the 40-minute Chicago finale showdown. I thought this didn't had as much action of the last two but still, it was exciting from start to finish."

"Only thing to hate on this movie is Michael Bay screwing up Shockwave, Megatron yet again & now Starscream. In the 4th movie, Bay or new director will have to bring both Megatron & Starscream back some way, all 3 movies wouldn't have been awesome without them both."
11
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009,  PG-13)
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
"Even better than the first. Transformers 2 is a non-stop action-packed, exciting, funny and visually stunning masterpiece. Critics can kiss my a$$, it's one of the best action films i've seen!!"
12
Spider-Man 2002,  PG-13)
Spider-Man
"It's hard for me to pick which one of the trilogy is the best one, i''ve seen all 3 bunch of times and still can't pick one. This one probably has only by a hair the best action of the 3. Doesn't matter anyways, this one was awesome."
13
Hostel 2006,  R)
Hostel
"Probably still the most disturbing, sick, disgusting & intense horror flick i've seen in a long time. Jay Hernandez gives a good, convincing revenge performance that'll make u root for him down the stretch."
14
Transformers 2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
"Certainly one of the best action movies of 2007, brings some of the most memorable action sequences you will ever see and surprisingly, it got lots of humor".
15
Casino 1995,  R)
Casino
"One of the best gangster mob movies of all-time with amazing directing by the always-amazing Martin Scorsese (this is his most underrated flick) with very strong performances by De Niro, Stone & Pesci. Sharon Stone gives the best the performance of her career."
16
Iron Man 2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man
"It's easily one of the best adaptions of marvel of all-time, the movie was amazing"!
17
Kick-Ass 2010,  R)
Kick-Ass
"Amazing, awesome, cool, epic, hilarious & violent is what Kick-Ass is. One of the best superhero movies ever made, period. Movie has it all: Action (lots of it), Crime, Comedy, little bit of drama and Thriller. The performances are fantastic: Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass is funny, Christopher Mint-Plasse aka Mclovin plays a different role, does good & Nicolas Cage is at his best here."
18
Spider-Man 2 2004,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 2
"I love this movie, it's one of the best sequels i've seen and features one of the greatest fight scenes in movie history".
19
District 9 2009,  R)
District 9
"Best sci-fi action movie of the year and one of the best in years. District 9 is so mind-blowing, action-packed, gritty, sometimes very funny and visually stunning that you can't even imagine. Loved this movie to death!!"
20
Toy Story 3 2010,  G)
Toy Story 3
"The best of the series in one of the best trilogies of all-time. It's a great to see all (well, almost) the characters back. Randy Newman is back as the composer and gives another oscar-worthy score. Toy Story 3 from the beginning to the end has very clever storytelling (they better win for screenplay at the Oscars next year), laughs, tears & action thanks to Pixar as is the case with them. This movie is amazing, mix with lots of laughs & tears. The endling will make you cry even if you don't want to, it will make you cry. Toy Story 3 is another masterpiece from Pixar."
21
The A-Team 2010,  PG-13)
The A-Team
"One of the top 3 best action films of the year (Salt & Unstoppable as the others). The A-Team is non-stop high-octane action with solid performances all around (Neeson, Cooper, Copley, Biel, Wilson) and hilarious scenes. A for Awesome!!"
22
Salt 2010,  PG-13)
Salt
"Angelina Jolie is back in action and more badass than ever in this spectacular non-stop action thriller ride. Salt is one of the few movies that delivered this disappointing summer. It's full of non-stop action, edge-of-your-seat moments & intense twist & turns. Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor are great in their roles. This is by far Jolie's best action movie and one of her best performances behind Girl, Interruped & Changeling. Salt is very worth your money. P.S., you may not like the ending but the hell with it, bring on the sequel."
23
World Trade Center 2006,  PG-13)
World Trade Center
"A very heartwarming 9-11 film that sneaks up in my top 5 Favorite Movies Of All-Time".

25
Jackass 3-D 2010,  R)
Jackass 3-D
"They may be getting old and they be running out of ideas but it didn't show in this extremely hilarious, crazy, disgusting & fearless second sequel of the trilogy. I think this is the last of Jackass but if it is, it has been an extremely funny ride with them for a decade. Love Jackass, man!!"
26
Saving Private Ryan 1998,  R)
Saving Private Ryan
"The greatest war movie ever made (of course) and one of the greatest motion picture films in history".
27
Fast Five 2011,  PG-13)
Fast Five
"Who would have thought the best film of the franchise turns out to be the best action flick of the year so far? Well, this blows the other four flicks of the franchise out of the water (2 Fast 2 Furious was my fave but that changed quickly after this one) with a Ocean's 11, 12, 13 plot with CARS in Rio, Brazil. Fast Five features some of the best action sequences in years including intense foot chases especially Jordana Brewster, Paul Walker & Vin Diesel getting chased almost every rooftop in Brazil by Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock, Gal Gadot (Giselle) showing off her smoking hot body in a bikini, lots of laughs from Tego Calderon, Dom Omar, Tyrese & Ludacris & breathtaking car chases. This is one of the best action-packed flicks i've seen. This isn't your typical Fast & Furious movie, yes there's hot girls (Jordana Brewster gorgeous as ever, Elsa Pataky & Gal Gadot) and awesome cars but this is more of a heist movie with cars. This is the best one yet. P.S., the last 30 minutes will blow you away with insane car chases."
28
Vantage Point 2008,  PG-13)
Vantage Point
"One of the greatest action thriller movies ever made, i was at the edge of my seat through the entire film"!
29
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra 2009,  PG-13)
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
"The best action flick of the summer, period. Transformers 2 and Star Trek are my number two and three: TF2 my second and Star Trek my third. G.I. Joe has very awesome action sequences that are completly non-stop and exhilarating that will make your jaws dropped. One of my favorite action films. The acting were good enough: Channing Tatum was all right, Dennis Quaid was good, Rachel Nichols was hot and beautiful as usual, Sienna Miller was bad-ass, Joseph Gordon Levitt was awesome and Marlon Wayans had the best acting of the lot not only he showed his serious side but his funny side as well, gave the best performance of the movie. G.I. Joe is just what action films are all about: fast-paced, always fun, not one boring moment and action sequences that are absolutely amazing."
30
Black Hawk Down 2001,  R)
Black Hawk Down
"The second best military war movie ever made".
31
Grown Ups 2010,  PG-13)
Grown Ups
"Adam Sandler's funniest film to date and also from the crew. Grown Ups is a gut-busting-laugh-your-heart-out fiesta right from the start with hilarious cameos by Sandler's buddies Steve Buscemi, Jonathan Loughran, Norm McDonald & Blake Clark. If your a die-hard Sandler like me fan, you will definitely LOVE this movie!!"
32
The Hurt Locker 2008,  R)
The Hurt Locker
"It's not only the best iraq film of all-time but one of the greatest films ever made. Thanks to the very impressive Kathryn Bigelow, the performances were amazing. Jeremy Renner = Oscar nod, please. Anthony Mackie = Oscar nod, please. The whole movie is just amazing: very intense, amazing acting, great shots of Iraq and some effective humor. The movie would have not been this amazing if Kathyrn Bigelow didn't direct it, give her an Oscar nod as well. One of the greatest films ever made, destined to be one of the best films on earth."
33
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan 2006,  R)
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Superhero Movie
"It's absolutely one of the funniest and unexpected spoof movies period, i was very surprised and laughed very hard throughout".
36
2012 2009,  PG-13)
2012
"Amazing movie, loved it and WOW!! It features some of the best visual effects i've seen in a movie my whole life and the whole movie is packed with edge-of-your-seat action-packed sequences, one of the fun movie experiences i've had in my life. John Cusack did awesome, Woody Harrelson was crazy at his best and Chitwetel Ejiofor continues to give great performance. Just an all-out visual fiesta with a bunch of cool sequences unimaginable."
37
Tropic Thunder 2008,  R)
Tropic Thunder
"The funniest film in years, i never laughed very, very hard that many times in a movie".

Stomp the Yard
"Wow! I mean Wow! I never thought that this movie would be just incredible. I love Stomp The Yard".
40
Step Up 3-D 2010,  PG-13)
Step Up 3-D
"These movies keeps getting better and better (dancing-wise), the first one was okay and The Streets was awesome. This is the best entry of the series so far. Step Up movies isn't known for it's acting but it's amazing choregraphy & dazzling visual effects, this has some of the craziest, sickest & coolest dance sequences ever put on film. Step Up 3 is a energitic, fun, funny, cool & enjoyable flick that features one of the best final battles (awesome & sick final battle btw) in dance movies."
41
Drumline 2002,  PG-13)
Drumline
"Awesome movie! It was funny, touching, moving exciting & perfect for a PG-13 movie"!
42
The Social Network 2010,  PG-13)
The Social Network
"One of the top 5 best films ( This being my number #2, with The Town my number #5, Kick-Ass my number #4, Toy Story 3 my numer #3 & Inception my number #1) of the year. Also, one of the best films of this century. With excellent performances from the entire cast especially oscar-worthy ones from Jesse Eisenberg (who plays Mark Zuckerberg), Andrew Garfield (Eduardo, his best friend) & Justin Timberlake (as Sean Parker, the founder of Napstar). But what I loved about the movie was the rapid-fire, snappy & extremely clever dialogue from Aaron Sorkin who wrote the script & should win an Oscar for it, period. The editing is sharp, the Oscar-worthy pulsing, eerily score by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross & flawless direction by David Fincher who will easily get the Oscar nod for Best Director. This is one of Fincher's finest masterpieces along with Se7en, Fight Club & The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. The Social Network is often funny, thrilling, well-made & so clever that it is indeed as many critics say one of the greatest films ever made."
43
The Town 2010,  R)
The Town
"Definitely one of the best films of the year, Ben Affleck redeems himself here as both an actor and director, this is the best i've seen from him. This has one of the best ensemble casts of the year, brilliant performance from each actor. Jeremy Renner is fantastic again, another oscar-worthy performance. Mad Man's Jon Hamm is really good, provides the best humor in the movie. Rebecca Hall who's a very talented actress (already a golden globe nomination in her resume to prove that) is great. Blake Lively surprised me here, she showed awesome acting ability (hopefully, she'll be in more movie like this from now on). The direction is flawless from Affleck, the settings of Charlestown is completely amazing, the bank robberies are well-made. Harry Gregson-Williams score is awesome (his best IMO) & once there's action, it's solid to watch. The Town is a brilliantly piece of a film, Come Oscar night you may not just see Renner there but i wouldn't be surprised if Affleck for Best Director, Editing & Adapted Screenplay would get noms."
44
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial 1982,  PG)
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
"One of the greatest classic movies of all-time & one of the most beautiful movies ever made".
45
Up 2009,  PG)
Up
"What can I say about Pixar? Amazing?? Perfect?? Up is their funniest out of their tank and one of their very best, I loved this just as much as I loved WALL-E, Ratatouille & Finding Nemo."
46
Antwone Fisher 2002,  PG-13)
Antwone Fisher
"One of the best Denzel Washington's performances and Derek Luke's".
47
Gladiator 2000,  R)
Gladiator
"The greatest and most powerful performance that Russell Crowe will ever have, period. 2001's Best Picture winner Gladiator is one of the greatest movies ever made in motion picture history with one of the greatest soundtracks (scores) ever composed by the legend Hans Zimmer (one of his top 3 best of his career) & with the help of always-amazing voice of Lisa Gerrard. This is still my fave Ridley Scott film with Black Hawk Down behind it."
48
The Departed 2006,  R)
The Departed
"An esemble cast that gives excellent performaces and one of the best crime/drama movies i've seen".
49
Sucker Punch 2011,  PG-13)
Sucker Punch
"Visually eye-catching with insane creative action as is always the case with Zack Snyder's movies. Snyder's typical use of slow-mo, he slightly overused in this but it wasn't a problem for me. Sucker Punched is loaded with an all-star female cast of young up and coming future bright stars: Aussie actress Emily Browning as Babydoll is kickass (After a couple of great roles including 09's american remake of the underrated thriller flick The Uninvited with Elizabeth Banks & Lemony Snickets A Series Of Unfortunate Events, she looks to have a very bright future), Abbie Cornish is Sweet Pea, she is also pretty good, Jena Malone is good as Rocket while Vanessa Hudgens (coming off from a surprisingly good performance in a little-known flick Bandslam) as Blondie, Jamie Chung as Amber, Carla Gugino as Madam Gorski (nailed the polish accent) & Oscar Isaac as Blue do good in their small roles.

Sucker Punch is extremely fun, entertaining, visually eye-popping and well I wouldn't say "original" becuase it had little mix of Inception & The Matrix but "different", Sucker Punch is the most different film i've seen since Inception."
50
Battle: Los Angeles 2011,  PG-13)
Battle: Los Angeles
"Just what I expected, non-stop action, some humor & mindless popcorn entertainment. It's Black Hawk Down meets District 9 (LOVE both films) though, B:LA slightly by a hair not better than Black Hawk Down and it's not as smart, brilliant & character driven than District 9 but it's awesome for what it is. It's the first great action flick of the year and cracks into one of my fave films of all-time list. The actors did pretty good here: Aaron Eckhart does a wonderful job as the Staff Sargeant, Ramon Rodriguez is good as the young Lieutenant, Ne-Yo is great as the Corporal, Michelle Rodriguez is almost underused but gives her best role in a long while since Girlfight as the Air Force Technical Sgt & the rest of the cast did well in this hell of great movie. Critics can go suck it, this movie was awesome, don't listen to them just go in without expecting anything new or great acting just try to enjoy it, it's a very easy movie to actually enjoy to me."
51
Dumb and Dumber 1997,  PG-13)
Dumb and Dumber
"Really, really funny"!
52
Unstoppable 2010,  PG-13)
Unstoppable
"Tony Scott's best film to date. Unstoppable is the best action flick of 2010', it's a non-stop, action-packed thriller that will keep you at the edge-of-your-seat. Denzel Washington & Chris Pine are excellent here, made a great team. Supporting cast was brilliant especially Rosario Dawson who keeps getting better & better each movie. I love all Tony Scott's movies (i'm a huge fan) and I think this is his best film to date. P.S., this is the 5th collabo between Washington, Gregson-Williams (the composer) & Scott."
53
The Fighter 2010,  R)
The Fighter
"2010 has had some of the best films i've seen (including Inception, Toy Story 3, Black Swan, The Social Network, Kick-Ass) and The Fighter is no different, it's actually the best, most well-acted & honest boxing fim i've seen. Mark Wahlberg is great as the always-big hearted Irish Micky Ward, it's the finest performance of his since his Award-nominating role in the brilliant Scorcese Oscar-winning Picture The Departed. But the true stars of this movie were Christian Bale, Melissa Leo & Amy Adams especially Bale who once again dramatically loses weight just for a role and he is absolutely phenomenal as Micky's crackhead brother Dicky.

He is my favorite to win (very likely) Best Supporting Actor at Golden Globes, Critics Choices Awards & most importanly Oscars. Amy Adams gives yet another fantastic oscar-worthy performance (better than her recent best role in Doubt) handles the Boston (bah-sten) accent perfectly well. As for Melissa Leo who's also one of the most hardest-working actress today gives her best performance to date, Adams or Leo should win the Best Supporting category. The Fighter is extremely well-written, very funny & highly rewatchable (one of those movies you can see like 5 times and you'll never get tired of it)."
54
Whip It 2009,  PG-13)
Whip It
"Whip It is very exciting, cheeful, funny and extremely enjoyable film that you wouldn't mind watching it over and over. Ellen Page gave one of her best performances here. The supporting cast was very, very good: Kristen Wiig gives a surprisingly great performance, ever since SNL, i knew she was very funny but she showed some acting skills here, the awsome Juliette Lewis, Drew Barrymore, Eve, the always-great Marica Gay Harden, Alia Shawkat (Pash), Jimmy Fallon and Andrew Lewis. Great start for Drew Barrymore on her directing career."
55
Pulp Fiction 1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction
"One of the best films of all-time, Quentin Tarantino's best film for me. Just everything is perfect about this movie."
56
Sugar 2008,  R)
Sugar
"Easily one of the best films of 09 and simply one of the best sports films ever made. Algenis Perez Soto who played Sugar did a very solid job, he has a great future in movies, he's a very good actor. The whole movie is just amazing. I'm a baseball fan (Cubs fan) and I didn't only loved it because of that but also because the movie is so human and true."
57
Bridesmaids 2011,  R)
Bridesmaids
"One of the funniest movies to come along. It's a 2-hour laugh-out loud per minute fiesta. Kristen Wiig is a comedic genius (she also help wrote the movie), she gives the funniest performance of the year so far. She to me is the funniest actress out there: she's extremely hilarious, beautiful, smart & just delivers lines with such impeccable timing. The supporting cast were great but the two that standout for me: Chris O'Dowd & Melissa McCarthy. Chris O'Dowd (never heard of this actor) plays the nice & charming funny cop, he's the heart of the movie. Melissa McCarthy damn near steals the movie out of Wiig's hands, she has extremely hilarious screen presence. She will have you laughing till you eyes start to bawl. Bridesmaids is extremely hilarious, surprisingly at times touching & well-made. Superbad is still the funniest film i've seen, Bridesmaids is not quite as outrageous than Superbad but it's definitely up there on my list of funniest movies. It's funnier than The Hangover IMO which is on my list as well (#2). The funniest movie of the year so far but we'll have to wait for The Hangover 2 that is if it's just like the original but slighlty funnier."
58
How to Train Your Dragon 2010,  PG)
How to Train Your Dragon
"2010 has been the best year for Animated feautres (Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, etc.) and this of course, not only the top 3 best animated features of the year but one of the best films of the year as well & also one of the best animated films of all-time. How To Train Your Dragon is extremely fun, exciting, funny, heartwarming & spectactular to look at. The voice acting is top-notch coming from Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler & America Ferrera. Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller & Kristen Wiig providing the humor. John Powell's score is oscar-worthy, one of the best soundtracks of an animated movie. This movie is amazing in so many ways, it's similar to Avatar with the dragons in some way & that's saying alot because Avatar is the best film ever IMO. This & Despicable Me may not beat the far superior Toy Story 3 for Best Animated Feature but it's one of the rare films that Dreamworks Animation Studio that is as good as any of the Pixar films."
59
127 Hours 2010,  R)
127 Hours
"Danny Boyle once again proves why he's one of the best directors around, 127 Hours is another cinematic, powerful & courageous film that Boyle has achieved. James Franco gives the performance of his career, he's nailed this one right on the head, one of my fave performances of all-time. What a movie career this guy has had, those Spider-Man movies gave him a chance to the star spotlight then ever since Pineapple Express, Milk & other movies, he's gotten better with movie choices and now, has become one of the best underrated actors now. Look, Colin Firth was excellent in The King's Speech but Franco in this was as great or maybe even better than Firth's oscar-winning performance & Eisenberg's performance was great as well, I wanted an upset either Franco or Eisenberg but didn't happen. Amber Tamblyn & Kate Mara have short roles here but they were good. A.R. Rahman's brilliant score is actually better than his Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire.

127 Hours is an triumphiant true story that shows a man that's trapped under a boulder with one arm pinned against it for well 127 hours who had all the wit, courage, passion of never giving up & faith. Aron Ralston will forever be remember as hero to millions. This is one of the most disturbing, miraculous, inspirational, saddest & best films i've seen. The cinematography is gorgeous, the scoring of A.R. Rahman as I pointed out is brilliant, the acting is amazing from James Franco & the directing from Danny Boyle is phoenomenal. P.S., the arm amputation is one of the most realistic, unwatchable & disturbing scenes i've seen in a movie."
60
Moneyball 2011,  PG-13)
Moneyball
"One of the best movies of the year and definitely one of the best & smartest baseball movies ever made. This is easily a Best Pic nod lock. Moneyball is carried with very wit dialogue from two of the best writers today Aaron Sorkin & Steve Zaillian, it's The Social Network of baseball movies. Mychael Danna's score is moving and well-executed in every scene. The performances are excellent from a great cast. Brad Pitt gives one of the least showy & best performances of his career as the General Manager Billy Beane that'll probably give him an Oscar nod next year. Jonah Hill gives the best performance of his career (possible Oscar nod) as the computer nerd from Baltimore Peter Brand, he provides most of the films laughs with just the deadspan look. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is terrific as the hard-attitude manager Art Howe (also a possible oscar nod for Phillip). Moneyball is very witty, funny, smart & very depressing. You'll feel for Beane (Pitt) from beginning to end & the A's (coming from a Cubs fan, i know EXACTLY what it feels like every year, lol). Baseball fan (like myself), you'll love this movie. Not a Baseball fan, you'll still love it just cause of how amazingly smart this flick is. You'll enjoy it."
61
The Way Back 2010,  PG-13)
The Way Back
"One of the best films i've seen. It's very sad, courageous, ground-breaking, very well-acted, sometimes funny & unpredictable for a true story. 6-time Oscar nominee director Peter Weir gets terrific performances from his cast including 2 Oscar nominees and 1 Golden Globe winner: Jim Sturgess gives the best performance of his career so far, Colin Farrell is absolutley brilliant and funny (steals each scene he's in), Ed Harris is as good as he's ever been & Saoirse Ronan gives a touching performance. This is really one of those must-see flicks. You'll cry, laugh, hope & applaud these people who walked, suffer & went through."
62
Predators 2010,  R)
Predators
"A prequel to Predator 2, Predators is an awesome action sci-fi flick and the cast is brilliant especially from Brody, Braga, Grace, Ali & Taktarov. The characters are very interesting & fun to watch, some memorable deaths, good action, great pacing & bloody throughout. It may not be better than the original Predator but it's one of hell of a sci-fi action flick to watch."
63
10,000 B.C. 2008,  PG-13)
10,000 B.C.
"Great entertaining flick, better than the critics and haters thought, better than 300 and of the best action movies i've seen with some unbelivable visuals."
64
She's Out of My League 2010,  R)
She's Out of My League
"Funniest movie of the year so far. I loved it from the very beginning. Funny & usual supporting actor, Jay Baruchel is hilarious in his debut leading role & Alice Eve just like Portia Doubleday did for Youth In Revolt, is an up & coming gorgeous star (can't wait to see more of her in the future, she's definitely a 10). Supporting players were excellent: TJ Miller (hud from Cloverfield) is the new Jason Lee, he's absolutely hilarious. Nate Torrence is excellent as the only friend of the group that's married and he steals a couple of scenes with ease. Mike Vogel (also from Cloverfield) has a couple scenes he steal. Krysten Ritter (Patty) steals every scene she's in as well & Kyle Bornheimer (Kirk's brother) as well. She's Out Of My League may not be original but it's raunchy, hilarious, very watchable & has good heart. I give this a hard 10."

Source Code 2011,  PG-13)
Source Code
"A Inception-The Matrix mix, Source Code is AWESOME!!! Includes one of Jake Gyllenhaal's most enjoyable performances of his career, he's so damn good in this and excellent acting from two other Oscar-nominees who are excellent actors: Vera Farmiga is really good as usual & Jeffrey Wright is brilliant as usual while Michelle Monaghan gives her best role since 07's Gone Baby Gone. I absolutely loved each and every single minute of this movie: it's got an awesome idea (story), great acting all-around, very good pace (not one single dull moment), humor & great visuals as well. Credit to Duncan Jones who does amazing directing here, Ben Ripley for a good script & Chris Bacon for the Michael Giachinno-esque type score, awesome composing. What a flick, amazing. One of the best this year, i'm done,"
66
Despicable Me 2010,  PG)
Despicable Me
"Despicable Me is a fun, cute, sweet, hilarious & very likeable film that should definitely fill that 3rd slot for Best Animated Feature this year behind (Toy Story 3 & How To Train A Dragon). Steve Carell gives one of the best voice acting performances in animated film ever and probably one of his best of HIS career. Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews & Kristen Wiig do great with their voice-over. The three little girls are so damn cute & Gru's (Carrell) minions are hilarious & now one of my fave cartoon characters ever. They steal each scene, very lovable characters. I liked this movie, it's no Toy Story 3 but it's such a enjoyable, hilarious, fun & watchable flick."
67
Defiance 2008,  R)
Defiance
"One of the most amazing true story movies i've seen, it's an oscar-eligible film for sure. Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber & Jamie Bell gave very excellent performances & did the accents very well. Defiance is a must-see movie that will make you want to see it again and again".
68
Hanna 2011,  PG-13)
Hanna
"One of the best flicks of the year, one of my faves. Saoirse Ronan is brilliant yet again, makes it so easy each of her characters. One of my fave young actresses out right now. Cate Blanchett (who I believe is one of the greatest actresses on earth) was just pure excellent here. Eric Bana is decent and Jessica Barden (one of the two crazy girls from Tamara Drewe) as Sophie is another young actress to look out for, i''ve already seen her in two movies and already, I have much love for her: she's crazy, pretty and funny. Hanna has beautifully choregraphed action sequences, very solid story, awesome soundtrack from The Chemical Brothers, great acting & awesome direction from the very underrated Joe Wright (from Atonement). Awesome revenge thriller flick with a brilliant performance from Ronan as the title role."
69
Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2011,  PG-13)
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
"One of the most spectactular and well-made blockbusters this year. Veteran actors: Franco, Lithgow, Pinto, Cox & Felton (who is again perfect as the bad guy after his series run as Draco Malfoy in the mega-million franchise Harry Potter) were good with their roles but it's Andy Serkis as Caesar, the caring & probably the greatest well-made ape in motion picture history who carries this film. Serkis, known to play memorable motion capture characters such as Gollum from Lord Of The Rings & Kong in 2005's underrated remake King Kong, gives his best CGI motion capture performance yet and deserves an Oscar nod for motion capture performance but unfortanely, there isn't such thing as that in Academy Awards which is not fair."

"Rise Of The Planet Of Apes is way better than the recent Planet Of The Apes movies including the classic, it just has great cast (Franco, Pinto, Lithgow, Cox & Felton), has plenty of action especially the Golden Gate bridge battle, humor & heart. This is easily the front-runner for VFX for the Oscars next year (will give Transformers 3 a competition in that department). This one of those must-see flicks, it's a wonderful experience. I'm glad their going to reboot this series again, this one was spectactular, now bring on the next one!!"
70
Crazy, Stupid, Love. 2011,  PG-13)
Crazy, Stupid, Love.
"One of the most mature, intelligent & perfectly-made romantic comedy i've seen. Not only it's the best romantic comedy movie of the year but it's also one of the top 10 best movies of this pretty good year of movies. Steve Carell gives one of his finest performances to date as a depressing, divorced & struggling father. While Ryan Gosling gives another terrific performance in his great year of 11'. Julianne Moore is fantastic as usual, Emma Stone is lovely as usual, Marisa Tomei steals each scene and Analeigh Tipton as Jessica the babysitter gives a worthy performance. Crazy, Stupid, Love is very funny, depressing, touching and great to relate to. Outstanding flick plus a nice twist at the end."

Catch Me If You Can
"One of Spielberg's most compelling and fun films with the help of excellent performances by DiCaprio, Hanks, Walken & Amy Adams plus John Williams brilliant oscar-nominated score. P.S., the so-funny & gorgeous Elizabeth Banks is so cute even in a brief role and Jennifer Garner is sexy as hell in her brief role as well."

75
Super 8 2011,  PG-13)
Super 8
"E.T. meets Cloverfield, Abrams & Spielberg creates this 70's nostalgia mixed with some new ideas, full of thrills, lots of humor, good acting & perfect popcorn flick. It also has some of Spielberg's 70-80's touch to it, this is an old school filck. Filled with great young actors who actually provide the humor, heart & soul such as Elle Fanning (who gives the best performance of her young and so far good career), Joel Courtney & Riley Griffiths. Kyle Chandler as the Sheriff is pretty good as well. Michael Giacchino composes yet another excellent score: beautifully tense, slow & moving. Super 8 is what summer blockbusters are all about: Fun, entertaining, funny & intense. It's one of the best summer blockbuster flicks this year."
76
True Grit 2010,  PG-13)
True Grit
"This ranks up there with Fargo as The Coen Brothers delivers this extremely well acted, beautifully shot western as their best film since No Country For Old Men. Jeff Bridges is no John Wayne but he gets another Oscar nod for his funny, crazy & drunk portrayal old Rooster Cogburn. Matt Damon is great as usual as the Texas Sheriff LaBoeuf. Josh Brolin while doesn't appear until the last 20 minutes of the film, is good too. Same with Barry Pepper who's a very, very overlooked actor, you barely recognize him here, The real star here is newcomer Hailee Steinfeld as the stubborn, strong, courageous, worried Mattie Ross. This being her first film, she handles the character, screen & texan accent that damn near almost (probably) should have won the Oscar from Melissa Leo's excellent performance in The Fighter. She's definitely a young star on the rise. Not a fan of Westerns but this was damn good movie, one of the best of 10' for sure."

80
Takers 2010,  PG-13)
Takers
"An all-star male cast with good actors: Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Michael Ealy, Hayden Christensen, Matt Dillon, Jay Hernandez, Chris Brown and T.I. Even for us guys, the very amazingly beautiful Zoe Saldana though just limited in her role but still hot. Matt Dillon and T.I. steals the show out of all, whenever they are on screen, the movie shines. Takers is a very fast-paced, action-packed, entertaining & underated action heist flick definitely one of the most underrated action flicks of 10'."

"P.S., the movie features the best foot chase sequence of the year that includes Chris Brown, Jay Hernandez & Matt Dillon. Very, very, very entertaining stuff that last an awesome 5 minutes or so."
81
Star Trek 2009,  PG-13)
Star Trek

84
Inglourious Basterds 2009,  R)
Inglourious Basterds
"Indeed, another Tarantino masterpiece. It's very long flick but I enjoyed every minute of it. Brad Pitt was nuts, Eli Roth was surprisingly good as an actor, Diane Kruger was gorgeous than ever and gave an oscar-worthy performance, Melanie Laurent gives an oscar-worthy performance as well but the best actor in the movie: Christoph Waltz who gave a brilliant performance, my fave Tarantino villian yet. He will win the best supporting actor easily. Great movie."

87
Immortals 2011,  R)
Immortals
"Exactly what I expected, to be a fun, action-packed, good-looking & awesome guys flick. Henry Cavill does a good job as Theseus while Freida Pinto (another small role but does more here than her recent supporting roles), Stephen Dorff, Luke Evans, Isabel Lucas & Mickey Rourke (who's great playing villians) held their own. Immortals lacks a bit of action in the beginning, pretty slow but Tarsem & Company makes up for it with amazing visuals, exciting slo-mo fights, lots of blood/gore & an a$$ shot of Pinto's (though it's a body double) rest of the film. Is Immortals better than 300? Ah...equally but it is more graphic & better VFX than 300 (this didn't need a green background to make the visuals). I liked it a lot as I expected, not a classic but it's worth-watching over & over just for the incredible fight scenes & stunning visuals."

103
Iron Man 2 2010,  PG-13)
Iron Man 2
"Funnier, more action-packed & louder however not smarter than the first, I found Iron Man 2 as good as the first but not better. Robert Downey Jr gives another excellent performance as Tony Stark, a bit better than he did in the first. Gwyneth Paltrow reprises her role as well as Pepper Potts but found her just ok not better than what she did in the first. Newcomers: Scarlett Johansson as Natalie Rushman/Black Widow as I expected nailed it perfect. Mickey Rourke as Whiplash nailed it as well while nailing the russian accent as well. Sam Rockwell was hilarious as usual. I liked Iron Man 2 a lot, it was great fun especially the spectactular last 10-15 minutes of the movie."

Scream 4 2011,  R)
Scream 4
"My new fave of the series (2nd WAS my fave) and probably the best of the series so far. Scream 4 was just exactly what I expected: it's funny, scary, bloody, very intense and so much full of fun and entertaining. It has a great looking cast of young very decent actors/actresses, this easily has the best cast of the franchise. Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox & David Arquette are back and they do good but it's the young cast that are the spotlight including 4 (which i'll point out in a moment): Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, Lucy Hale, Shenae Grimes, Brittany Robertson, Aimee Teegarden & Marielle Jaffe were all great in their roles. Including three veteran actors: Anthony Anderson, Marley Shelton & Adam Brody were good as well. But of all: Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin & Erin Knudson (who provided the most humor of the movie) standout for me. Especially Emma Roberts who's impressive especially the last 20-25 minutes of the film, she gives a breakout performance here. I've seen each of her movies, this was the movie for her to shine and she easily does. Let's see in the future if she can actually be a GREAT actress, this was a great step for Emma."

Best movie of the series so far.
