My Favorite Movies

You could argue this is Dances with Wolves set in space. Which would be a fair statement. Which even cameron admitted was an influence. But like the for mentioned movie its message is done very well. This movie has everything romance, tears and action. ILM will be taking Viagra now to try and get there mojo back aftre seeing the greatness of the effects for this film. Watch out George you may soon be replaced as the king of Sci Fi.

You cant help but love the charm of Juno and Ellen Page. Not to say she steals the film, there are great performences from everyone. Some may say Juno is too mature for her age but thats part of the appeal. Great direction and a heartfelt ending. Any movie that comes out this year wiill have to top this one.

All the disjointed, dialogue ridden and violence we expect from Quentin Tarantino. Great melding of Spaghetti Western and Asian martial arts movies.

Sergio Leone's last movie and what a movie to go out on. Cemented his reputation of one of the greatest directors ever.

The Greatest Western ever made. Beautifully shot and an epic scale.

Epic movie about the native american. Good direction and acting that fully deserved the best picture oscar.

Loved it will have to figure out where its gonna go in my all time fav flicklist.

One of my fav movies of all time. One of the most original love stories ever made. Great direction and a soundtrack that makes you want to go out and buy it the next day.

casualties of war is extremely emotional and well acted. Some narrow minded critics at the time bagged the film because of little things like fox would have been too short for the army. Sadly if they were focusing on that, they missed the whole point of the movie. Fox has always been seriously underated as an actor. In this film he showed if he was given good material he can do drama. Well written, brilliantly directed, excellent acting and a score that just tugs at your soul. In one word 'Perfection'.

Best and last of the dollars trilogy. An all time classic

What suprisingy is the only bad thing about this movie is De Niro's lackluster perfomance. Otherwise cinematography,score and story are top notch.

If you dont mind subtitles and get to the end i dare anybody to hold back the tears.

What a follow up to Resovoir Dogs. All the dialogue,violence and the back and forward time jumps we love from Quentin.

The movie that inspired the violence of John Woo movies. A western about the last remants of the old west going out with guns blazing. With the simple message at the end never leave your friend behind.

Excellent movie about the prejudice against a woman who takes pride in her appearence. And the love of a young boy approaching manhood towards her.

Who would have thought we would ever see Clint with emotions. Finally proved he can act. Great movie def deserved the oscars.

How ellen page didnt get an oscar nomination for this is beyond me.

The most original love story ever. Even with there minds erased they can get each other out of there heads. Perfection

The Ultimate comic book movie taken from the actual graphic novel panels. Give all comic book movies to Robert Rodriquez and none of em will be bad.

Would have loved to give it a five star rating but some dialogue let it down. Apart from that my fav movie out of all 6 films. Vast improvement on the other prequels.

My Second fav movie of the saga despite it gettting a less rating than it predessor.The annoying ewoks stop it from getting perfect score.

"Luke I am Your Father" need i say more.

May be a bit long for some but Tarantino at his best. If you arent a huge fan of Quentin's long writing style this movie may not be one for you. As this is a long movie and not as much tarantini dogs style actioneers your used to. You may find this flick a tad dull compared to his others. But if you are a fan of his writing style you will love this flick and i highly recomend it you.

Best of all 3 movies what else can i say.

Althought vol 2 contains much more of the story. The long tedious scene involving the guy in mexico tarnishes the movie. Took all that time and dialogue to tell us where Bill was. Plus the pace of the last 20 min seems to drag on and praying to kill bill already.

Classic sci fi with a message about the cold war 50's.

Perfect anti western that doesnt have a bad thing about it. Perfection from beginning to end.

Claustraphobic German movie about a WW2 Sub. Well acted and the crampt environment of the set adds extremely well to the film.

THE MAN ARRIVES!. Tarrantino's first pic which spawned hundreds of low budget wannabe's during the early 90's. Only criticism of this movie is it borrowed heavily from a japenese film.

My fav of the 3 back to the adventure and not the darkness of Temple Of Doom

The first romantic comedy movie. And between characters you wouldnt expect, a Prostitute and a gigilo. Hepburn is brilliant, she makes the charatcer lovable. One bad thing about this movie is the portrayel of a Japenese person by Mickey Rooney.

Great adventure movie with the charasmatic hero. Bring on indy 4!!

A classic if you can manage to get through it all.

Although a classic this movie suffers from a low budget and the fact Sergio Leone had not quite found his feet yet.

Still the best of Robert Rodiguez's Mariachi Trilogy. As he got more budget for the sequals he seemed to get less artistic.

Spielbergs WW2 masterpice like Schindlers doesnt hold back on the gut churning events. Plus vin Diesel gets shot thats always good lol.

The most dated movie of the six and now with the fast paced movies before and after it. The movie becomes somewhat dull. The characters stop this movie from loosing a whole star.

Slightly Better than fellowship.Mainly for more action. The standard of everything else is great.

The pure complexity of this movie is still mind blowing. And another example of the sequal being better than the original.

My fav of all the rockys. The heart of the original is back no sign of the brevado of 3 and the flag waving of 4. Great send off and a good performance by sly. Also slys direction has fastly improved maybe his future carreer lies in that direction. After being a bit sceptical of initial idea i was pleasently surprised. Great Job

A western which comments on the racism towards the american indian. But when the chips are down the whiteman count on him to survive. Pure classic check it out.

A movie idea that could have bombed badly. But this film work beautifully and no matter how many times ive seen it, the ending still gets to me. One of the few films that does.

Awesome reboot less techno babble and more adventure. Captured the character intereaction fromt he original series and movies extremely well. Hope they keep this quality up for the next film. And dont keep cutting the budget like they did with the others.

A little way out there for some but sandlers first serious role and does it well.

Excellent movie sadly is was all down hill from here. A good example of a movie only working once. What was once a great underdog story turned into a gung ho American macho love fest. Dreading the 6th movie.

What seems to be a standard crime flick is elevated mainly for the excellent plot twist right at the end. Good performances all round.

Slightly better than the first as it has more batman and less vocus on the villians. Keaton is still the best batman.

An 80's classic and effects that still hold up today. Great characters and of course the Delorean.

More action and better effects makes this better than the original. Only bad thing about this movie is it unleashed edward furlong upon the world :).

Funny movie about the life of office workers.

The best non George A Romero Zombie Movie. Funny and genually scary in parts aswell.

The King of cool McQueen at his finest. A climax to rival any current movie.

The most laid back steven king story with plenty of heart. Also the first example that if you search hard enough. You can find some kids who can act.

Great stroy of a woman trying to find the love of her life whos gone missing during world war 1.

The movie i feel The Wachowskis seriously borrowed from for the matrix.

Hailed as an original but Hong Kong and been doing that stuff for years. But in terms of style and the world they created its great. Although story is a rip off of Dark City which in my opinion is a better film.

Good movie about how the media can manipulate public opinion. Good little gem
