1	Stealth 2005, PG-13) Excellent - largely reminiscent (many parallels) of the anime movie, "Macross Plus". Very good movie about an AI merging into sentience. Suspense, moral dilemma, action.
2	The Da Vinci Code 2006, PG-13) Masterful work of fiction, in a few ways better than the book (particularly the last 20 minutes or so). Opie did it again (Ron Howard), and anyone who apppreciates Tom Hanks work will find a new, admirable side of his acting spectrum. Brilliantly done.
3	Déjà Vu 2006, PG-13) Intriguing, romantic, suspenseful and very re-watchable.
4	The Red Violin (Le violon rouge) 1998, R) Lengthy, but not tedious - very romantic, very surprising and heart-pulling ending with a deep sense of awe. You haven't lived life until you've seen it.
5	Once Upon a Time in China 1991, R) Li Lian Jie ("Jet Li") as Wong Fei-Hung - need I really say more?
6	Once Upon a Time in China 2 1992, R) Jet Li does it again as Wong Fei-Hung - excellent work.
7	Once Upon a Time in China 3 (Wong Fei Hung ji saam: Si wong jaang ba) 1993, R) Just as good as the previous two, if not more so.
8	Once Upon a Time in China 4 (Wong Fei Hung ji sei: Wong je ji fung) 1993, R) Just as action-packed as the previous three. Nice work.
9	Red Sorghum (Hong gao liang) 1987, Unrated) Chinese with English subtitles (best way to see it) - sad, happy, romantic, funny, time well spent.
10	Rising Sun 1993, R) Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes is quite a very good mix - I was surprised. Excellent detective/action movie, and a must-see for fans of either of these actors.
11	Blade 1998, R) Very well done. The opening scene (for me) was very reminiscent of Worcester, Massachusetts in the late-mid-'80s hehe. Ah, memories...
12	Blade II 2002, R) Nicely done, and stands right up to the previous movie.
13	Doragon bôru Z 3: Chikyû marugoto chô kessen (Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might) 1990, PG) Excellent for those DBZ fans and those just getting into it, or any other anime of the shounen/action genre of anime.
14	Urusei Yatsura 2: Byûtifuru Dorîmâ (Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer) 1984, Unrated) A great OAV even for those unfamiliar with the series it's based on. Another masterful work of art by Takahashi, Rumiko!
15	National Treasure 2004, PG) Excellent movie - action, mystery, detective-like, and I kept forgetting it was a Disney movie!
16	National Treasure: Book of Secrets 2007, PG) Just as good as the previous movie in many respects, though the believability factor in this one was not as well interwoven into the story as in the previous movie - it kind of lacked.
17	Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 2003, PG-13) This has a classic appeal as movies made a long time ago, with the movie making skills and quality of today - I loved this movie!
18	Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End 2007, PG-13) Quite excellent! Davey Jones is my favourite character (though a mite heartbreaking)!
19	Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest 2006, PG-13) I enjoyed it thoroughly, though in this move, the once fearsome Davey Jones has been made a pansy of.
20	The Scorpion King 2002, PG-13) Nice - much better than the "Mummy" movies this is somewhat remotely associated with. Excellent work - action, humour, suspense, exotic.
21	Kingdom of Heaven 2005, R) A very well done, morally "feel-good" movie, about Knighthood and appeals to the Knight in the hearts of many men who watch this.
22	Drunken Master (Jui kuen) 1978, PG-13) Excellent action, and funny as hell.
23	Entrapment 1999, PG-13) Another wonderful job well done by Sean Connery. Action-suspense, with a twist at the end.
24	The Mothman Prophecies 2001, PG-13) An excellent kind of old-school creepy! Not like blood-and-guts horror, but eerie sleep-with-the-light-on creepiness. I enjoyed it muchly.
25	Stargate 1994, PG-13) The seed that germinated it all!
26	Stargate: Continuum 2008, Unrated) SG-1, y'all!
27	Stargate: The Ark of Truth 2008, Unrated) SG-1, y'all!
28	Stargate Infinity 2008, Unrated) SG-1, y'all!
29	Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Wo hu cang long) 2003, PG-13) Deeply romantic, and even heartbreaking. Exquisitely beautiful work that dazzles all the deeper senses - an extreme must-see.
30	House of Flying Daggers (Shi mian mai fu) 2004, PG-13) I would group this within the same field of excellence as "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" - very brilliantly done, and an extreme heart-puller.
31	Conan the Barbarian 1982, R) Ppffthth - c'mon! The original Conan! Need I really say more??
32	Hero 2002, PG-13) Excellent work on a centuries known historical folk tale, told in a somewhat lightly dreamy manner - I was quite impressed.
33	Rush Hour 1998, PG-13) Excellent action and funny as hell!
34	Rush Hour 2 2001, PG-13) Excellent action and funny as hell!
35	Rush Hour 3 2007, PG-13) Excellent action and funny as hell!
36	I, Robot 2004, PG-13) Excellently put together. A movie that inspires, almost demands, moral thought. I great "makes-you-think" movie. Intriguing. Very re-watchable.
37	The Abyss 1989, PG-13) Excellent. Superb for its time, and even for today. An immortal classic.
38	Brainscan 1994, R) Horror/action that's almost hilarious at times, with a totally unexpected feel-good twist at the end.
39	The Bad Seed 1956, Unrated) This is the masterpiece of masterpieces. An extreme must see for anyone who appreciates this sub-genre of scary-type movies. I couldn't really call this "horror" per se, as in the '50s, there really wasn't such a genre yet, as we know it today. But yes, verrrry creepy!
40	Highlander 1986, R) An extremely excellent movie, with disappointing sequels and an infuriating last movie. This first movie is good as a stand alone feature - no sequels are implied by movie's end.
41	The Terminal 2004, PG-13) Brilliant, heartwarming, funny. Tom Hanks does it again. Another shining masterpiece.
42	Dial M for Murder 1954, PG) 1954 era horror/suspense. Brilliant work.
43	Madame X 1929, Unrated) The very first movie that ever made me cry in front of someone while watching it. I was quite young, but still adept at not outwardly crying from films - this movie broke me.
44	Gaslight 1944, Unrated) Mystery and intrigue from 1944! You won't be disappointed!
45	Fear in the Night 1947, Unrated) DeForest Kelly (Dr. McCoy, a.k.a. "Bones", from the original '60s Star Trek series) in an excellent role in this murder mystery... is he the assailant or the victim? Watch it!
46	Doragon bôru Z: Kono yo de ichiban tsuyoi yatsu (Dragon Ball Z: The Movie - The World's Strongest) 1990, PG-13) Superb work by Toriyama, Akira!
47	Appurushîdo (Appleseed) 1988, Unrated) Great police action, mystery, deep and higher thinking/moral dilemma. A must see.
48	Macross Plus 1994, Unrated) Very, very well done - four, forty-minute segments. Brilliant AI story which clearly had largely influenced the movie Stealth. When one movie inspires another, it's a MUST SEE. Romantic-mystery, action/attempted murder, awakening computer sentience/moral issues, test pilot shennanigans, light humour, intrigue, military issues, double love triangle (though not too complicated), and deeply, deeply inspiring for all types of viewers. This will change you.
49	Monty Python and the Holy Grail 1974, PG) "It's just a flesh wound!!"
50	Monty Python's Life of Brian 1979, R) A hilariously irreverent look at the life of the "average Joe" - well, Brian - during bible times in Christ's day.
51	Alien 1979, R) The original!
52	Aliens 1986, R) "Game over man!! Game over!!"
53	Alien3 1992, R) Great part III - no degradation in story, action, or suspense.
54	Near Dark 1987, R) Excellent present-day vampire movie.
55	The Lost Boys 1987, R) My favourite Keiffer Sutherland movie!!
56	Hyper Sapien: People From Another Star 1986, PG) Brilliant work, with Sidney Penny.
