The Dark Knight 2008, PG-13)
This was an incredible film, that truly deserves the title: "Best Movie of the Year". It really does surpass the previous film, Batman Bigins, not many franchises can out do their first movie, but this does take the cake. Heath Ledger is amazing, his portrayal of the Joker is brilliant, he does out do Jack Nicholson's Joker, Ledger has an almost unique way of portraling the Joker that the silver screen has never seen, but its how he is supose to be |

Batman Beyond - Return of the Joker 2000, PG-13)
I enjoyed watching this film, especially for the reason that Mark Hamill returned as the Joker. Mark Hamill is the Joker. As a follower of the DC Animated Universe, I respect the movie but don't acknowledge it as a conon film, I can't except the death of Batman's arch-nemises, and even one of the creatures of the this whole Batman series that started in the 90's, Bruce Timm, even said that it was a possible future. And just to say that the DCAU ended with Justice League Unlimited, and it was a real shame, these series that started with Batman: the animated series shouldn't of cancelled, it was a profound moment in DC history |

Bram Stoker's Dracula 1992, R)
This is by far the finest and beautifully adapted film based on Bram Stoker's classic novel. The difference between this film adaption and other ones is that this one was really faithfull to the novel, even a little origin story to Dracula was added to connect the story's character to the historical figure. The director, Francis Ford Coppola, (Godfather I/II/III) doesn't really antagonize Dracula, nor makes him a complete montser, as does previous films. |

Get Smart 2008, PG-13)
This is a truly great film based on a classic and hilarious TV series. Not many films have done much justice to a remake of a popular TV series. Steve Carrel is amazing, he has the essence of Don Adams in him, he pulls it off so well, he can be clumsy, witty, but above all, just plain SMART. Anne Hathaway is beautiful, intelligent, and as well has abit of Barbara Feldon in her, Steve and Anne work brilliantly as an on-screen couple, you can see the love between the two. |
