The storytelling was captivating and I didn't feel bored at all. Similar to Heavenly Forest.

Xing yuan (Sing yun) (Fly Me To Polaris) Unrated

It's been a long time since I've watched a HK film. Too hard to follow the subs since when I watch Korean movies I can already recognize lots of words. Well, the only tear which came from my eye was because I was so sleepy watching this after midnight. Richie Ren was surprisingly young and cute...don't really know what he looks like today. Cecilia has never really belonged to my favourite beauties and her voice was not even sweet but I don't know I guess both were suitable for their roles. Sometimes fantasy and melodrama can be touching and interesting but I'm not sure did this movie raise any special feelings in me (I know this is a very popular "classic")...I'll have to see the Japanese version of this movie.

I saw this first time over 10 years ago when I went to see it in the cinema. I became totally crazy about this movie. Then it was very cool in my opinion. Cher, the main character of movie had a mobile phone, car, cool clothes and she got a cute boyfriend. It is a funny and romantic comedy. I don't know if teenagers love this movie these days because maybe it's too old fashioned for their taste. When it came on video I bought it and now I had to buy it on DVD also. I've seen this movie many many times. I remember the lines and the scenes quite clearly. Some may say that Cher is a bimbo but I love her! Hahaa! This is my first seen teenage movie and it still remains the best!!!
