it was so beautiful how he played the role of John ForbesNash who was a genius mathematician...indeed Nash had a beautiful mind and he struggled so much with his disease of schizophrenia...
very loving movie, it was the right type of movie to make you cry, make you worry, make you feel happy all at the same time and bring out more emotions out of you....
the message to this movie could be that "love is a strong connection that will never get broken by the distance, it will always be felt and the fire between two people that will never turn off when there is truly love. True love is life and to feel alive it is the greatest joy in the world"
the only sad thing about this whole movie is that this forbidden love could never be shown freely and carelessly...its a shame that gay people are not given the opportunity to live their life and love the way we the "normal" people of society do. Everyone has the right to love whoever, even if it means to love someone from the same sex....it doesnt matter who you love, what age, what race, or social status, the key to love is to simply love someone whether they love you back or not :D
this movies was so beautiful, so exciting, and yet at the same time it was so painful and sad....
Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal did an amazing job and its sad to know that the beauty of this movie is not understood by our ignorant society in which we live....its amazing how people are so closed minded and ignorant over the issue to letting people love who they want because in the end, arent we all humans? yes we are, and no one is perfect to say "this is wrong and this is the truth," i just think people should mind their own business and let others be themselves......
this is a great movie to show the real power of love.......AMAZING!!!!!
so sad, but it had to be done
good movie
i had to hold my breath throughout the whole movie
amazing how sometimes bc the pain was so much, that the guy was able to travel back in time to that same moment and change what had happened that left him a bitter memory
the ends sucks though how the guy and the girl could not be together no matter how many times the past was changed for the better...
:(
Beautiful movie and i bet that just how the young boy felt about being able to stop his dad from dying, that many of us have felt that way once in our lifetime....
I think it was awesome the way John and his father communicated through that old radio thing and how he was able to tell him how his dad was going to die in the fire while trying to save the little girl :D
BEAUTIFUL REAL story about a man who fought for what he believed was right and to make his father proud for in the 1950s and 1960s due to the racism, blacks were descriminated and not taken seriously for who they were or what they could do. Robert De Niro was great as acting as "Sunday" and Cuna Gooding as "Carl Brashear"...very touching and inspiring, i LOVED it because it was a movie of struggle and to prove your strenght agaisnt all odds :D Carl Brashear became the first African American Master Chief in USA!!! this was a great movie and a must watch for sure, its has meaning and its true... Cuba and Robert De Niro did an amazing job at playing their roles....BIG THUMBS UP :D
This was a very lovely movie. It has something very special to it, unique and Robin Williams played a good part in it. i enjoyed it very much indeed. I disagree with people about this movie, what makes it beautiful is how many life lessons it gives....so much to think about it is amazing!!! This is a great movie, touching, sad, so emotional and so many things. if you like to think and see something worth watching with morals and such, or simply something to ponder on, this is it, the same as A.I. Artificial Inteligence, both are GREAT!!!!
:)
i cant stop watching it when i get the chance i love the whole story of how their love was forbidden because she already was arranged to marry that nasty guy who i always forget his name....i loved how at the end when Rose died how her spirit returned to the ship because that is where she truly belonged, next to her love because that is where she found true love, on the titanic :D very very romantic and touching....i loved it
i love HALLOWEEN even though at night i cant go to sleep because of it :)
very original story, i love the whole idea of Michael being a psycho who is locked away for 15 years...and the story never really says what motivated to kill, almost as if he did it for pleasure, or maybe just plain unreasonable madness......
very mysterious and weird but i LOVED it....it caught my attention and there is something very grabbing about this movie that i cant really explain....very good overall..... :)
really good movie
Nicolas Cage always does a great job in any movie that he comes out in, and besides he is good looking even though he is old...hahahaha
but i loved the whole story of the movie how numbers are the key to life and by each set of numbers on the paper, horrible events happened in the world, i think that was quite interesting and scary at the same time.....
this movie provoked many thoughts in my mind and like in the movie when the end of the world was going to come.....who would YOU like to die with in your last moments? a meaningful death......its such a sad topic and i almost cried at the end.... the ending was a little fairy like with the whole Adam and Eve theme and the tree in the middle of the plais...it was very staged, my friends and i laughed, so cheesy...but all in all it was a great film that i deffinetly recommend to watch :D
but even though it was great...i didnt like the whole aliens thing...it was kind of retarted, so this keeps this movie from a 5
Truly a BEAUTIFUL miovie in which you see and feel the anxiety of a man who wants to die because he belives his life is not worth living for anymore beacuse of his paralysis from the head down and thus can't move...He wants to end his life but the world won't give him that freedom that he years for.
I like to think that whenever you are in a case like Ramon in the movie, a person should have the right to decide when they want to die and why as long as it is a valid reason (which Ramon's was in all his right to want to die, but with dignity). When you cant move and you see the world go on without you, wouldn't that kill you everyday little by little in the simple thought of wanting to move and run, hug the person you love, or simply look after yourself? It is devastating not being able to do things on your own and that is the main reason Ramon wants to die, to end his misery. I love how he uses his imagination to go places he otherwise can't...Ramon definetely inspires without really knowing it. It is rather ironic how throughout the movie, Ramon wants to help those who surroung him by giving them advise on how they should keep on going in life, but on the other hand, he wants to end his.....
Anyways, besides the fact that Javier Bardem is extremely handsome, he did a wonderful job in playing the role of the Spaniard Ramon Sampedro.
This movie made me cry and think alot about life itself....after all, isnt these kinds of emotions what a really good movie leaves people with?? yes they are :D
YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! :D
