Garden State 2004,  R)
Garden State
this film was very well done! it trapped me in it, i felt so many emotions while watching it!
it strated in a kinda plain boring fashion, yet it kept me interested to watch more and see where it was going, i bit like Napoleon Dynamite. i loved how through out the director, Zach Braff, used no music as back ground will the film was moving but added in random hits from the era when no diology was going on, this was a nice touch i thought. this film made me feel sad yet excited to see what would happen next, at the end of the film i was nearly intears but very happy to see a beautiful ending to a beautiful film.
i felt like i connected with this film and was traped in its movement which is really what a director aims for in his film to come across to the veiwer !

O Brother, Where Art Thou? 2000,  PG-13)
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
i am really starting to like these directors work. i do think they should stick to making comdey films as they is good at it!
O brother, where art thou, is the story of 3 men on the run during the America depression in mississippi. it was a very funny tale of three dimwits who end up getting alot of stuff by accident and not by plan. i liked how this film begain in black and white and how it ended the same way, i also enjoyed all the music and singing used through out to illistraight feelings aswell as the erra, was a nice touch. i thought George Clooney's acsent was a bit dodge at times but all the acting was done well. i liked how this was a quite realistic film as it reflected what the world was like back then, yet it was really just a bit of fun and kept you interested to see how this tale was going to end. its well worth a watch!
8
Where the Heart Is 2000,  PG-13)
9
Zodiac 2007,  R)
Zodiac
this was the best film i seen in 2007!
i enjoy this directors work, however i found that it was a very slow film and was too long, and a little confusing as the story moved about a lot and to many names were thrown in that were not cleared. however i thought it was a really well done film and the acting was superb!

The Magdalene Sisters
i have no words to decribe this film! i can't explain how it made me feel, anrgy?...yes, sad?...definently, confused?....a little, sympathy?...a lot. i think the reason i felt all of these is because this was a true story and did actually happy, maybe the charactors used where fictional but the circumstances and conditions are all realistic and very ture making this a very powerful and sad film, brilliant acting throughh out!
17
The Phantom of the Opera 2005,  PG-13)
The Phantom of the Opera

18
Scent of a Woman 1992,  R)
Scent of a Woman
one of the best films i have ever seen, so powerful filled with morals and advice that will always win, outstanding preformance by Al Pacino he deserved his awscor for that, not to meansion how hot Chris O'Donnell was when he was young! the amazing speach at the end should be shown to all world leaders might give them a few pointers :)
19
Schindler's List 1993,  R)
Schindler's List
outstanding is the only word i can find to describe this film, it is so realistically done to how world war 2 was for jewish families in poland and one of the worest episodes in history! the direction is beautiful and the acting is top notch. a beautiful story whish brings back faith in human beings!
i thought that the use of the colour red on the little girls coat during the evacuation of the jewish ghettos had an amazing affect, as it made the audeance see how horrific this experiance was and it also helped them notice the effect it was beginning to have on schindler! AMAZING!
20
Crash 2005,  R)
Crash
this movie got me thinking big time, about myself and the society i live in , it is very moving and gripping, shows just how everyone can change there opinion if they don't stay narrow minded, but also that it is very easy to conform to society's veiws!
i love that seen of the car crach when the officer has to save the women who is stuck in the car, in this scene we see a hell of alot, like how this mans opinions start to change and at the same time how this women fear lead her to change her opinion to! this scene was just so powerful i was on the edge of my seat watching it! my favorite story line was the lock smith this was just so sweet and sad too! was kinda like a serious and moral version of love actaually lol with out the cheesiness.
21
Pitch Black 2000,  R)
22
You've Got Mail 1998,  PG)
You've Got Mail
this is one of my favorite feel good movies, i just think it is so pretty how they both fall for what is the real person they both are but hate this other person that they are being in there careers! i love how they happy and funny this film is ! i really think that tom hanks and meg ryan are the best movie couple.
23
The Pursuit of Happyness 2006,  PG-13)
The Pursuit of Happyness
this film is a one off, watch it once and it moves you so deeply, watch it again and you are easily bored,
this film is so sweet and has a brilliant feel good move, and shows you can do or acheave anything you put your mind to :)
24
Bowling for Columbine 2002,  R)
Bowling for Columbine
i could watch this film over and over again, and still agree with everything in it!
as i do not live in america i guess i can not judge it, but if that is what it is really like then i am staying right where i am!
25
Stargate 1994,  PG-13)
Stargate
excellent! i loved how it all worked out and you hreat raced at the whole thing
26
Secretary 2002,  R)
Secretary
waw!

this film was so werid you had to pay attention to everything to get it! the lawyer obv seen her insecurity and relised she needed to be helped so he done it through a way to get him own pleasure at the same time, i think he himself had not relised just how dependent she had come on him which is why he had to sack her and also cause he had reached his climax and did not need her anymore, get he relised he did have feelings for her in the end! i think what made this work was how he was just as insecure as she was but he wanted to cure her insecurities thinking it would help his! i thought maggie gyllenhaal suited this role brilliantly, i found james spader a bit creepy but that was probally the point!
27
Save the Last Dance 2001,  PG-13)
Save the Last Dance
it was a feel good movie in the end!

it have a lot of issues in it such as racisium lose, reputations and it showed how hard teenage life can be! reminded me alot of step up but both are good indevidual movies :)
28
Step Up 2006,  PG-13)
Step Up
amazing!

i loved this film, the dancing was so good, it made me wont to dance:)

it was all to do with classies and reputations and how you need to prove yourself to get what you wont!
29
This Is England 2006,  Unrated)
This Is England
most power film i have seen this year!

it was so moving seeing the world through a guy boys eys. it also shows how molding a boys brain can me!

this film also shows me how power always wins as no one would stand up against this man as they new he was a powerful fighter and did not wont to risk getting the shit kicked out of them, i thought this film had a brilliant ending as even though this boy had been through a lot, he still had the brain to turn back!
30
A Clockwork Orange 1971,  R)
A Clockwork Orange
malcolm mcdowell is an amazing actor i have to admit!
he managed to completely change the viewers view on him as the film went on! in the start you liked him thought he was cool and a little exciting, however then you started to hate him and find him vulger, but then when he said he has changed you start to pitty him and feel really sorry for him, but then you start to get annoyed at him again as he put himself it the weridest situations ever! this really is a work of art this film, very weird yet fantastic the connection you have to it is brilliant!

I can agree with The Day After Tomorrow, Forrest Gump and Finding Nemo, even if I didn't put any of those in my fav list, that I tried to keep the shortest possible.
Otherways, Save the Last Dance and You've Got a Mail are very pleasant, and a few others are pretty good.
But there are also a several movies I disliked ordon't wanna see here. So, our lists are very differents, even if you requested my friendship cause our tastes aren't too far.
It's true than our MC is 64, good friends.
