Monster
A really impressive movie. And an awesome Charlize Theron. I read the story of Aileen Wuornos and it attrected my atention. Later I saw there was a movie made about her life with Charlize, one of my favourite actresses, as Aileen. I had to see it of course.
And I'm stunned! One of the best movies I've ever seen in my whole life.
I'm so glad I've seen it, it's really touching.
This is such a movie which you must see.

Seven Pounds 2008,  PG-13)
Seven Pounds
BRAVO! This movie was just a masterpiece, I don't have another word to explain it. I thought it would be good, but this good? Holy shit! I was blown away!
The story is so beautiful, it has a very clear message, the writers/director have been thinking about every detail. Will Smith was extremely good, I'm admiring his talent. Also compliments to Rosario Dawson and Woody Harrelson.

The ending is so unexpected, and another thing: the music. Magnificent! I'm gonna watch it soon again, it's simply a marvellous movie, the last time I cried so much after watching a movie was with Million Dollar Baby, and I've seen that movie quite a long time ago.

Go see it! This movie will be added to my list of favorites!

Forrest Gump 1994,  PG-13)

Million Dollar Baby 2004,  PG-13)
Million Dollar Baby
So beautiful.. I had to cry when I saw this movie. All the main characters were acting very good. Above all Hilary Swank, her performance looked so real that it almost scared me.
The story of Million Dollar Baby is very beautiful, but heart rending as well. Especially the ending. I loved this movie, it's one of my favourites, although I probably won't watch it anymore in the nearby future just because it's so heavy.
7
The Shawshank Redemption 1994,  R)
The Shawshank Redemption
One word: GREAT! This is just a brilliant movie, I'm astonished. When the movie starts it's just good, not fantastic or something, but when it comes to an ending.. Wow. The moral of this movie is just wonderful. Everybody should see this film.
Tim Robbins is marvellous, and Morgan Freeman..Magnificent!
The Shawshank Redemption will be added to my list of favourite movies!

Le Scaphandre et le Papillon (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly) 2007,  PG-13)
Le Scaphandre et le Papillon (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly)
Tears in my eyes. I don't know how to describe this movie, or even how to describe my respect for one of world greatest hero's Jean-Dominique Bauby.
Imagine you wake up one day, as an extremely busy and loved young man with young children, completely paralysed. None of us can even think what it would feel like.
It happened to Jean-Dominique Bauby. When he woke up in 1995 he could only move one of his eyelids. He couldn't walk, talk or breath on his own.
And then he decides to write a book, through communicating with his eyelid.
I'm admiring this man with all of my heart. I read the book a few years ago for school as well and already then I was fascinated.

Now I've seen the movie and I have to say it's one of the most touching movies I've ever seen. I was watching the whole movie with a lump in my throat. God, hell must be on earth for some people. We should be happy with what we got.

It's an eye opener. Unique in all ways and beside that the acting is very strong. Compliments to Mathieu Amalric, Emmanuelle Seigner and the director Julian Schnabel. Everyone should see this movie. It's terrific. Last time I cried so much about a movie was a quite long time ago.

I want to quote:
"Other than my eye, two things aren't paralysed. My imagination...and my memory. They're the only two ways I can escape from my diving bell." - Jean-Dominique Bauby
9
The Matrix 1999,  R)
10
Identity 2003,  R)
Identity
Identity is a secret. Identity is a mystery. Identity is a killer.
Yeah! You could definitely say that ;) In this movie ten strangers are stranded in a creepy motel in the middle of nowhere. They all try to escape from a nasty storm. Soon enough they realize they are being killed off, one by one.

Oh man! What a movie. I liked this very, very much. It just grabs you and gets you stuck on your seat. The story itself isn't original at all. And when you first watch it, it looks like an ordinary slasher movie, but it actually is not. The scenario is great. That motel is absolutely creepy and the whole atmosphere is just dark and obscure. The cast is great. Especially John Cusack and Amanda Peet did a very fine job again ;)

You'll get the creeps once you see the plot twist. Identity is a psychological thriller where I thought of a long time after I've watched it. I've never seen a movie like this. Truly recommended.

The Parent Trap 1998,  PG)
The Parent Trap
I LOVE this movie! I adore it! It's heartwarming, it gives me a warm feeling inside and a smile on my face. Lindsay Lohan is so cute and beautiful in it.
Natasha Richardson and Dennis Quaid are by the way a great couple. The kiss at the end is definitely one of the best movie kisses ever I think.
Yeah, this is a must see.
I believe, of all the movies I've seen in my whole life, I've seen this movie the most. Without overacting at least 10 times. And every time I watch it, I love it over and over again.

It's so sad Natasha Richardson died. But we will never forget her! R.I.P. Natasha

Men of Honor 2000,  R)
13
Pay It Forward 2000,  PG-13)
14
V for Vendetta 2006,  R)
V for Vendetta
Damn, one of the best movies which is ever made. The story is so good, and the acting is great. Natalie Portman on her best, and Hugo Weaving as well, even without showing his face one time. This movie has many influences of the second worldwar, maybe a little too much, but still it's a masterpiece. I noticed interesting underlying things, like the colors, the music and not putting off the mask. You can see people really thought about all that little things. That's what it makes it so extremely good. This movie is a masterwork, and that's something I don't say that often. This is what I call art.
15
Double Jeopardy 1999,  R)
Double Jeopardy
Very strong revenge thriller. Acting was great, especially from Ashley Judd. I love the way her character changes from proper woman to I-don't-give-a-fuck bitch! But Tommy Lee Jones and Bruce Greenwood were doing well too.
The interesting thing is, what the title already says, double jeopardy. Can't be convicted for the same crime twice.
I like the twist and the storyline is just very interesting and fascinating. I enjoyed every single minute of Double Jeopardy.
And of course, the ending is very beautiful and touching.
16
Up 2009,  PG)
Up
Up is a really touching, beautiful and very well made movie. The animations are breathtaking, all the scenes have something magical.
The intro, with the childhood and younger version of Carl and Ellie, is very good and promising.
I love the moral in it. It's just so clear and hopeful. We can all learn from Up very much.
Pixar did a great job to make Up a movie for both children and adults. The Oscars are very properly, actually I think it's a shame Up won only 2 of the 5 Oscars.
The sound effects are very well done, and beside Carl I also liked the characters of Ellie, Russell, Kevin and the cute little dog.
I adore the ending! Just beautiful, so touching, sweet. This movie is marvellous and enchanting.
Very highly recommended!!
17
Donnie Darko 2001,  R)

Carolina Moon 2007,  Unrated)
Carolina Moon
Very good.. I was impressed because I wasn't expecting that. I loved Claire Forlani in it, I didn't know her but she is a very good actress!
I liked the story in it, with the unpredictable killer, the chemistry between Tory and Cade, the parts where Hope was in.. So I really think this is a recommend!
21
Cinderella 1950,  G)
22
The Butterfly Effect 2004,  R)
23
Thirteen 2002,  R)
Thirteen
Great movie with great acting. The story is really heavy, amazingly shocking. I didn't know Evan Rachel Wood but damn, that girl is a great actress.
24
Kill Bill, Volume 2 2004,  R)
Kill Bill, Volume 2
Kill Bill 2 is, just like Kill Bill 1, super! The acting is great, special effect as well. In Kill Bill 1 there was more action, in part 2 there is more talking. But they are both very good.
25
Kill Bill: Volume 1 2003,  R)
Kill Bill: Volume 1
A masterpiece! Really, excellent! Normally I don't like action, fighting and all that stuff so much, but I love this movie. The acting of Uma Thurman is also very good. The part with the animation was very original, the music was good, special effects were great. Kill Bill is a recommend!
26
Click 2006,  PG-13)
Click
Click is one of my favourite movies. The story is predictable of course, but I don't mind that. The ending is so beautiful. And the message is very clear of course. If you like good movies, you definitely have to see this one. Adam Sandler did a great job I think.
27
Practical Magic 1998,  PG-13)
Practical Magic
I just saw it for the hundredth time (or something like that) and I still adore it! It's one of the few movies I can watch over and over again.
Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are both amazing, and they also have a great chemistry, something you don't expect immediately,
Goran Visnjic is perfect as the bad guy as well.
The story is great, it's one of the best fantasy movies I've ever seen!

What are you waiting for? Go, watch it! ;-)
28
Alice in Wonderland 1999,  G)
Alice in Wonderland
I love Alice in Wonderland so much! And this is one of the versions I like the most (believe me, I've seen many versions).
Actually the story of Alice is absurd, but that's what I like. Every part of the movie has a moral, and in this version, Alice becomes less insecure by entering Wonderland.
This movie is very long, actually it's too long to see in just 1 time, I've seen this movie many times but I prefer to watch it in 2 days.
My favorite parts are the first scene after she falls in the rabbit hole (with the drink/cookie etc), and when she meets the Mad Hatter/March.
The special effects are beautiful, and the acting is really good.
The songs are so cute as well! Definitely one of my all time faves.

By the way, this trailer isn't the right one!
29
The Ring 2002,  PG-13)
The Ring
I've seen a lot of horror, but this is definitely one of the best horrors! It's frightening, I couldn't sleep after watching it for the first time haha!
The story is original, and from beginning to end it's interesting.
Good title as well! Naomi Watts is just great.
Now I've seen it at couple more times and it really is an awesome movie. It's not only horror, there are also drama and romantic influences in it. It's a movie where you will still think of long after you've seen it.

A recommend!
30
The Notebook 2004,  PG-13)
31
Scream 1996,  R)
Scream
I love this kind of horror movies! Scream is in the style of I Know What You Did Last Summer, a group of teenagers haunted by a psycho serial killer.
The opening scene was quite promising, just as the whole movie. The twist is good!
Definitely one of the best horrors in the last 15 years.
32
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan 2006,  R)
33
Edward Scissorhands 1990,  PG-13)
34

Serendipity
I've seen Serendipity sooo many times but it just stays sweet! Heart warming, and it's a recommend for everyone who believes in fate!
35
Twilight 2008,  PG-13)
Twilight
I just saw it for the first time (I know, ridiculous) and I loved it! The story is very interesting, the acting is really good - especially when Bella almost dies.
I really have to mention the special effects as well, they did a good job!
I didn't read the book(s) but I'm sure I will in the future!
Edward has something dark about him, that's what is making him so sexy :)
I love the open end, can't wait to see the next movie!
Definitely a recommend!
36
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 2008,  PG-13)
37
The Terminal 2004,  PG-13)

38
A League of Their Own 1992,  PG)
A League of Their Own
One of my all time favorites! Geena Davis, Lori Petty and Tom Hanks are all three extremely good in A League Of Their Own.
The story is so beautiful, there were really a few parts where I had tears in my eyes.
It's a story about baseball, keeping up the faith, but above all about friendship.
A MUST SEE!
39
Knowing 2009,  PG-13)
Knowing
Very interesting movie, a recommend. The end was a little too science fiction but I liked it though. Nicolas Cage is a very good actor. There were a few scary parts with Lucinda in the beginning, good movie!
40
The Da Vinci Code 2006,  PG-13)
41
The Ninth Gate 1999,  R)
The Ninth Gate
An extremely interesting movie, much better than I expected. This is really my kind of style, it's a thriller with mystery and supernatural influences in it.
Even the littlest details are very well done and the underlying things are so exciting and intriguing..
I never saw a movie with Lilith in it, but it was very cool. Acting is good, Johnny is awesome as always. The lightning is also beautiful.
This is just a masterpiece, go watch it!
42
Amadeus 1984,  PG)
43

And David Sutcliffe is such a beautiful man. Another reason to watch Cake!
49
The Family Stone 2005,  PG-13)
The Family Stone
Lovely! So sweet, and heartwarming. Of course the end is sad, but still I like this movie. The story is original!
50
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2005,  PG)
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
This film is about four best friends. For the first time in their lives, they all will be spending the summer apart. Right before they're going to seperate, they go shopping. In a vintage shop they find a jeans, magically fitting all the four girls. The girls decide to get the jeans each for one week, and then sending it to the next. While the jeans is their 'binder', the girls hope it will bring some luck as well.

Magical. This movie is so simple but just breathes positive messages. The story is about changing, growing up, following your dreams but above all about friendship. It has many underlying details. This movie makes me happy. Of course it's a chickflick with the well known clichés. But that didn't bother me. The combination between humour and drama was perfect to me. I liked Tibby's and Bridget's stories the most.

Cute, probably innocent and absolutely amazing!
51
Never Been Kissed 1999,  PG-13)
Never Been Kissed
I loveeeed it! Such a cute film! I'm really a fan of Drew Barrymore, and this is definitely her best movie!
The story is really funny and original! It gives a great look how life is in high school - sometimes very rough.
Acting was fine, Molly Shannon did great, that sexscene, omg! I laughed my ass off! And Michael Vartan, Oooooh My God! He's so cute, perfect as 'the hot teacher'.

Never Been Kissed is a great romcom! Yes, it's predictable, but I don't care cause al romcoms are predictable. The ending is so sweet, I simply love the whole movie! One of my faves!
