Tim Roth and Paul Rhys are brilliant as Vincent Van Gogh, the mad genius whose primary passion, his art, is completely misunderstood and underappreciated and his brother Theo, an art dealer struggling with his own mortality and his brother's increasingly erratic behaviour.
Better than I expected. Beautiful cinematography and music. Subdued and a little somber, it, thankfully, mainly stayed away from the bombastic turns that many "historical" films rely on.
