My Favorite Movies

For a whiny looking ponce, Bloom makes an excellent knight. His performance is top notch, as are the fight/battle scenes.

Piper Perabo and Lena Headey's performances as would be lovers have everything you could ask for in a love story. Conflicting emotions, elation of the first kiss, the heartbreak of letting go. This movie is awesome.

Any movie with Zhang Ziyi in it, I'm gonna watch it. She's such a talent.

The send-off movie for TV's Firefly, Serenity is a fast paced movie with excellent dialogue. A somewhat predictable plot is the movie's only failing, but you don't really notice until you've watched it for the seventh time.

A mostly faithful adaptation of the famed graphic novel, Watchmen is definitely worth watching. Few movies are as deep as Watchmen, while still having just the right amount of action. The movie flows well and rarely missteps as it chugs headlong towards its finale. It's cast very well by relatively unknown actors who do justice to their respective characters, though the make up jobs on some are done fairly badly (i.e.- Richard Nixon).
All in all, a very enjoyable movie. I didn't get bored once, and coming from me that means alot!

One of the best damn movies I've watched in a long time. Rachel Bilson's debut into movies is great, while Zach Braff is awesome as per usual. But the best performance is from Casey Affleck, who steals every scene he's in. It begs the question: How is his brother Ben the bigger star, when Casey has all the talent?

Any movie that has Natalie Portman acting like an idiot is great in my book. I love her nutty character!
