My Favorite Movies

this is my number one movie ever, tied with schindler's list. watch it with an open mind and ask yourself this... if you are physically unable to be bad, then are you still good?

as a man i can never ever admit this... this was the only movie to make me cry. powerful and heartbreaking and inspirational all at once, i now have newfound respect for liam neeson and ralph feinnes. "the list is life." the killer was at the end when oscar is ripping the clothes off his back and killing himself for not saving more people with his meager possesions. you just wanted to give the man a hug.

it's a breath of fresh air to see forrest whitaker taking on a role that he has never played before... it's new and he does it well. but the real shock of this movie is james mcavoy as the scottish doctor who witnesses idi amin's madness close up.

it's like goodfellas, but better. ive always wondered how scorcese kicked pesci's ass like that at the end of this movie. "is this your pen?" heh heh heh...
