A Clockwork Orange
Absolute MASTERPIECE. The irony and satire of political do-gooders, and society in general, is first rate. I think I live in this neighborhood.

Best war movie ever! Alec Guinness' character is sooo military it almost makes me want to puke!

6
Apocalypse Now 1979,  R)
Apocalypse Now
The horror.

7
The Killing Fields 1984,  R)
The Killing Fields
Tough movie to watch, but well worth the effort.
8
Das Boot (The Boat) 1981,  R)
Das Boot (The Boat)
If you can sprechen, the original German is BEST. The scene where the crew is cutting up in the bunk area is hilarious, and totally lost in the English version as there is too much dialogue to dub in effectively.
9
Edward Scissorhands 1990,  PG-13)
Edward Scissorhands
He just wants to be loved.
10
Rear Window 1954,  PG)
Rear Window
Has to be my favorite Hitchcock movie, and James Stewart is one of my favorite actors. If you can find it, try it!!
