Might be my favorite movie ever. Great cinematography, enthralling plot, and Oh Dae Su is an amazing character. Has one of the best fight scenes in history.
I'm not sure why I love this movie so much, but it's been one of my favorites for years. It has a very interesting vibe, the acting is fantastic, and Smilla is one of my favorite female characters ever.
Probably the best movie I've seen all year. Great acting, and the tension is so real that I was wringing my hands through the entire thing. Javier Bardem is officially the scariest man alive. The ending is abrupt, but it made sense and once I'd had a second to absorb everything, I didn't mind the way it ended at all.
Everyone is so charming in this (well, except Blond Wig Woman... seriously, what was so intriguing about her?), and it's definitely the most accessible of Wong Kar Wai's films. I didn't even mind hearing California Dreamin' 80,000 times.
Like everyone else has said- it's quirky, funny, charming. It made me happy. I liked the music. I think I have a crush on Patrick Fugit. It reminds me a little of Dead Man and Everything is Illuminated.
