The last movie you'd expect Scorsese to do: a romantic, heartbreaker. And he does it with just as much as class as his other greats. The bulk of this film is based on the sheer fact that Alice Hyatt only runs, never faces her battles. It's a theme many can connect with. Hell, the whole romantic drama genre is inundated with characters such as Burstyn's. |
