Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
simply a great movie. funny, great performances on all parts. i think the humor keeps things going when the movie would otherwise drag
7
Slumdog Millionaire 2008,  R)
Slumdog Millionaire
Amazing. How it was put together (seeing the question and then seeing how he knew the answer) was the best way to do it. I liked watching how the characters developed and where they ended up. See this movie. Trust me, it is worth it
8
Batman Begins 2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
Nolan and Bale have made Batman watchable again
9
Juno 2007,  PG-13)
Juno
easily the best movie I have seen this year. Page is fantastic. Cera finds the performance to fit the awkward role he always seems to play.--After re-watching it recently, things have changed. A lot of the dialogue seems over written: like Diablo Cody was trying to hard to be hip. I still love the performances, but the writing is not as good as I thought it was over a year ago

Knocked Up
HI-LARIOUS...nuff said
34
Live Free or Die Hard 2007,  PG-13)
Live Free or Die Hard
recently saw the unrated version on dvd and i recommend that to anyone who felt something was lost with the PG-13 rating. The spirit of Die Hard was present, McClane was more sarcastic and more bad ass than the theatrical version. and you even get the line that we all wanted to heat without the annoying gunshot over it. basically watch the unrated version, its better
35
Ratatouille 2007,  G)
Ratatouille
not the best Pixar movie, but still damn good
36

38
Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror) 2007,  R)
Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror)
yes it is the weaker of the two, but that is not a bad thing. it is still more fun then you will ever have at the usual crap in the theaters. i did not notice much difference between this version and what i was in the theaters. i did forget how gross this movie was..cannot wait to watch it with the audience commentary on

Across the Universe 2007,  PG-13)
Across the Universe
really good movie, but it was kinda long at points.
54
Into the Wild 2007,  R)
Into the Wild
great movie, great performances from everyone, not sure Hal Holbrook deserved a nomination for his though
55
Candy 2005,  R)
Candy
everyone keeps saying that "The Dark Knight" is where we will see Ledger at his best and for the actor he was. I say "Candy" is the movie where Ledger gave the best performance that showed the actor he was and was going to be. Awesome performances from Ledger and Cornish and to a lesser extent Rush. Powerful movie that has gone unnoticed by most
56
Definitely, Maybe 2008,  PG-13)
Definitely, Maybe
i actually really like it. it was not the run of the mill romanic comedy. Breslin was impressive and Renyolds showed he is not that bad on an actor. it was an interesting premise for a movie that ended up working really well
57
Enchanted 2007,  PG)
Enchanted
i was pleasantly surprised. Disney gets back to its classic fairy tale roots while making it different. i especially liked all the classic fairy tale imagery from the old Disney cartoons spattered throughout the movie. It also gets back to the catchy Disney songs that get stuck in your head whether you like them or not
58
The Incredible Hulk 2008,  PG-13)
The Incredible Hulk
gotta say i really liked it. Norton was better than Bana, the Hulk looked much better, the story was stronger and the action was better.
59
Rear Window 1954,  PG)
Rear Window
only hitchcock could make a movie that takes place in one room, filled with dialogue and nothing but theories riveting and make it a brilliant piece of filmmaking
60
Batman Gotham Knight 2008,  PG-13)
Batman Gotham Knight
some of the stories were better than the others. some just seemed like time fillers and others were great. the animation was awesome and it was interesting to see the different takes on batman's look. i really did not see any connection to "Batman Begins" other than the appearance by Scarecrow. having not seen "The Dark Knight" yet i do not know how it connects to this, but i do not see how the two can be connected
61
Equilibrium 2002,  R)
Equilibrium
just rewatched this and I loved it even more. yes it may be a rip-off of The Matrix, but i think this has a better story and a better cast. plus, as i said before; Bale rules, what else is there?
62
Redbelt 2008,  R)
Redbelt
really good movie. Eijofor continues to prove why he is one of the best actors working today. i put him up there with Ed Norton as one of my favorites.
63
Hamlet 2 2008,  R)
Hamlet 2
it had its moments, but the hype behind this was that it was hilarious. it had plenty of very funny moments, but not as much as one would have expected. I still loved it, but, i wanted more. Coogan and Keener were great
64
Role Models 2008,  R)
Role Models
better than i thought it was going to be. there were some really funny parts, not overly vulgar like some unrated movies (Sex Drive). it had a bit of a heart too.
65
Requiem for a Dream 2000,  R)
Requiem for a Dream
this is why I don't do drugs. one of the most fucked up movies i have ever seen
66
Watchmen 2009,  R)
Watchmen
considering that the source material is both great and at times confusing, the movie did a great job of staying true to the book and making it accessible to those who have not read it. Everything I hoped it would be
67
Rachel Getting Married 2008,  R)
Rachel Getting Married
good movie with a great performance from Hathaway.
68
Duplicity 2009,  PG-13)
Duplicity
great cast, great movie. interesting editing choices make it feel different than a normal "heist type" movie
