Full of quirky characters whose quirks actually work. This movie deserves to become a classic.

One of the only films that could possibly be better than "Citizen Kane".

Polanski intentionally frames scenes in this movie to where door frames are just out of reach from you going around them even though you mentally want to and the whole effect unnerves you more than any of today's slash porn does. This movie totally knows the definition of suspense and uses it to it's maximum potential.

Awesome movie with a very unfortunate name. I don't know if the studio just didn't promote this movie, I don't remember it in theaters at all, but it's great. Jerry Lewis, Oliver Platt and Lee Evans are just perfect.

One of the best of the old school romantic comedies because it is so anti-romantic. Lemmon and MacLaine are at the top of their game in this one.

A delightfully weird coming of age story that seemed strange on first viewing but totally hooked me when I gave it a second chance.

I have to admit that my four and a half stars are kinda forced. I like the idea of this movie much more than I actually like this movie. Some of the acting is actually very atrocious. The musical performance are really good and where else will you find The Slits as a street gang. I include this in my favorites because the soundtrack is awesome and it grows on me more and more with repeat viewings.

Robert Mitchum is the most frightening villain of all time and the scenes of the kids on the river are absolutely stunning.
