A Clockwork Orange
Ive saying im going to review this one for a long time .. so finally im gonna stop being lazy and make it..For me this is one of the Best Movies of all Time... clearly , Kubricks major work of art. His signature its all over the place, and lado i havent read the story yet.. im absolutelly sure this is a case where the film is equally good as the novel. The director shows here his concern about future society , and more specially future youth. This, besides being a warning, its a story that shows the endless dilema between good and bad, inside ourselves, from a completely different point of view.Great shots and excellent performance by both, Mc Dowell and Patrick Magee.!Definitely ahead of his time, this film shows, without any sweet message how far can we go? and how much are we willing to do to deal with the consequences of our acts and behave?.. with a soundtrack that can lift you to the heaven.. and the sarcastic humor so properly used by Kubrick this is a classic that u cant missed if u like good films, fill with mesages, great performances, some "in your face" reality and.. last but not least.. THE 9TH SIMPHONY OF LUDWING VAN BEETHOVEN!*experience some of the ultra violence*

Psycho 1960,  R)
Psycho
This one its a masterpiece, no word define this film better.. Everything from beggining to end its brilliant,. If someone have any doubts about Hitchcoks being a genious, watch it..hes a pioneer, i was clear on that, but after i saw this film i was even more sure. Hitchcok its so ahead of his time over here, the suspense, the dialogs, the lightning here.. remember that in that age there was no color tv, so uses the shadows so greatly in the shots.. The music is amazing.. The performance of anthony perkins blew my mind.. He WAS psycho killer like no other.. I think teh best way to analize a film of this standars is by locate in the period where this film was made. As , whoever is reading this, was notices i love it.. This one is a classic in every possible way. If you are a fan of GOOD suspense you would be overhelm with it. Best escene for me: (very tough job to decide): The one where Bates and marion talk cause the director give you some clues, like signs that tell you that the guy is not worhtly of trust. Best quote: definitely the last one: "I wouldnt kill a fly". The final look of bates its so chilling ,scary and brilliant, cause trought those eyes so watch the whole duality of the role!!! All i have to say for ending its: THANK YOU SO MUCH MASTER HITCHCOK!!!

The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de Motocicleta) 2003,  R)
The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de Motocicleta)
Very good movie in my opinion!!!! It shows the early begginings of Ernesto Guevara before becoming the Che... It was very entertaining and reflexive at the same time for me... Its fill with humor, adventure, and most of all very deep political message that inlight the viewer about the situation that many lived in that time. I liked this one because it gives the facts as Guevara lived it.. and make me realize that we cannot understand or judge another person optical or choices but from their own eyes and experiences... Its a great tribute and honor to "El Fuser" RIP.. Very good soundtrack. I think the language where the story its told its the most adecuated one, on the contrary of the opinions of many producers, and the description of this beautiful Southamerican continent it was definitely magical and entertaining. "La revolución se lleva en el corazón para morir por ella y no en la boca para vivir de ella" Ernesto "Che" Guevara.

Pan's Labyrinth
Wow! Me quito el sombrero enfrente de este film!!! I really wasnt interested on this one till my friends start to tell me a bout and recomend it to me... and i have to say THANKS! For me It shows the psychological scape of a little girl that doesnt understand why theresd so much violence , anger, hate and fear in the enviroment where she lives.. basically her world change completely and she tries to avoid all this by gettin into her own fairytale.. The way that Del Toro tells the Espanish Postwar its crude yet brilliant. It wont be a film "easy to watch" for some people but its worth to see anyway. The reality is that on that time there must be millions of childs just like Ofelia that didnt understand how a world could carry so much hate, cause on war they were and still are the most affected ones! Incredible performances by Verdú and Baquero, Sergi López its definitely hair raising here as a Captain of Francos army.
Great work by the Artdepartament, good makeups and awesome, sad, real, tough subject! Ofelias fantasy can be interpreted over and over again and find new things along the way on this child mind, for me the Labyrinth its her catharsis. Im really proud of this one!! Ill probably watched again.. This time iwont chose fav quote but fav song.. which is the one of beggining.. and as i liked this film so much i dont have best scene.. there to many over here!

Donnie Darko 2001,  R)
Donnie Darko
BLew minder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Excellent, confusing, complex and divine in every way!!! One of those films that you must watche over and over and over again. The plot drags you into it from minut one. The entire atmosphere captivate you, the "dark, slow motion" reality its something that keeps u finding things, there are so many info given in here and yet you dont see yourself watching a film "all over the place". In fact you get to feel down , but in a good way, may seem like an irony but its truth. The plot is awesome, at least for me, because i loved to be amazed and surprised and that somehow (throught images) the director tell me: "You are enjoying it?? wait !! things will get better", that what i like to call: the non chair movement.lmao (i just made that up..:p) . but it the "force" that keep you in your sit for the entire film . and after the credits ..lol The screen shots, the time laps, the camera movements are fascinating. Great work by Richard Kelly, that also made the script! thats not fair!!! to much genious for one person ..lol...The music is fabolous, specially at the end. ufff im spechless. And the performances by Gyllenhaal and Barrymore are definitely outstandings. You can watched this film in two ways: from a outside position, thinking like the pshychologist and just determinating that the teenager its crazy or you can get into his world and find out so much more. One of the others things i loved about it its that you are given the freedom in here to make your conclutions, its not a regular end where u already know everything. no, here the director and the script gives you choices, it leaves room for your own interpretations. This film its into the my Favs Films list easyly!! Best Quote: (not because of the content but because of the intensity which go its said): FUCK!!!!! .lol. no kiding for real...This is the first time i watched this one but i can assure you it wont be the last!!!

Big Fish 2004,  PG-13)
Big Fish
I GOTTA apologize for not value this one before!!! Now I got it! I love he fact that a film can confuse me and then inlight me if i dare to watch it again. Unique in many ways this one is a mature story that is filled of fantasy and imagination.

Personally I found Bloom`s character very interesting and the entire journey of finding out whats beyond this larger than life man its a task that gives the real message in this film.

Great work by art direction!! This one is filled with Burtons captivating excentricity but on a "shiny" way!LOL.. One of those films that can teach but can also entertain and makes you forget your life for a couple of hours. I had fun and it also make me think which i guess is the point of the plot. Maybe a little cheesy for some but i just loved it!

Sometimes stories can say many things about someone , in this case that applies perfectly!! The whole variety of characters is completely fascinating and Mc Gregors is really charming in here!!! A must see film for everyone, specially Burtons fans!

I think after this Ill need to check it out again cause is one of that movies that can be seeing over and over while more details will be found and will help to build the plot on a deeper way.
