The first time I saw this movie I just thought it was so corageous and well directed. For a period of time I just forgot about it, because nobody seemed to talk about this one, since the tramp is not in the movie. But you wanna know one thing? It was really brave for Chaplin to try something so different. This caracter is definely not a hero, but he plays the role so well you just fall in love with the caracter. REALLY great movie.
