I think it's because I've been scared. You're a good boy, I've always thought you have potential. You're both good boys, you and your brother. I've always wanted and made sure that I've loved you and Terry absolutely equal. Well you have, you absolutely have. Dad, don't worry about a thing. Everything's gonna be fine." Brilliant performances by both Ewan McGregor(Ian) and Colin Farrell (Terry) as the troublesome brothers who's in over their heads. Great cast John Benfield, Clare Higgins, Hayley Atwell, Tom Wilkinson and especially Sally Hawkins as Kate. Great score by the legendary Philip Glass. A great Woody Allen film.
"Existence. Well, what does it matter? I exist on the best terms I can. The past is now part of my future. The present is well out of hand." An absolutely fantastic performance by Sam Riley as Ian Curtis. An amazing debut film by master photographer Anton Corbijn. Every scene is like a beautiful still photograph. A great supporting cast as well, Samantha Morton, Joe Anderson, James Anthony Pearson, Harry Treadaway, Toby Kebbell, Craig Parkinson and Alexandra Maria Lara. A film not to be missed.
"The soul of beings is their scent. You said that Master. Did I? I will make you as many perfumes as you want, but you have to teach me how to capture the smell of all things. Can you do that? Will Ferrell is incredibly good as Harold Crick, the man who's going towards his eminent death. Maggie Gyllenhaal is very sexy and wonderful as Ana the-tax-hating-cookie-maker. Emma Thompson is really good as the writer Karen Eiffel who's having trouble killing Harold Crick. Dustin Hoffman is cool and quirky as the literature professor who tries to help Harold with his life. This is Will Ferrell's The Truman Show. A fantastic film, don't miss it.

Great score by Javier Navarrette. In death, there can be life...
"I'm sorry, I was late. I didn't get a lot of sleep. The power outage knocked out my alarmclock. Won't happen again. I didn't sleep either. What kept you awake? Doesn't matter. You're under attack. What are you talking about? You're in a spiritual battle Erin. The forces of darkness are trying to keep you away from the light. Don't let them." An incredible performance by Jennifer Carpenter as Emily Rose. Also great performances by Laura Linney as Erin Bruner and Tom Wilkinson as Father Moore. Great score by Christopher Young. A great and sad film. "It has begun. Let us pray."
"This ain't gonna be easy. Not as easy as it used to be." A good action/adventure movie. Not as good as Raiders (of course) or The Last Crusade though. It's more like The Temple of Doom. Harrison Ford and Shia LeBeouf were really good as Indy and Mutt. Great special effects, good cast, Cate Blanchett and Karen Allen among others. A good matinee movie.
"Remember. It's better to be judged by twelve people than carried by six." A good thriller with good performances by Joaquin Phoenix, Robert Duvall, Eva Mendes and Mark Wahlberg. A pretty straight forward movie about cops and bad guys and a family in the middle of it.
"Hey, Marlena you know that Rob and Beth had sex? No. Yeah, isn't that crazy? Crazy. They've been friends forever. I mean, Rob's been in love with her since college. Well, maybe it was like a going-away present, you know? Yeah. Wait, where we supposed to get presents?" Incredible special effects and great cast with among others: T J Miller as Hud, Michael Stahl-David as Rob, Jessica Lucas as Lily, Odette Yustman as Beth and Lizzy Caplan as Marlena. A great movie experience.
"I wish he'd just listened to the D.L.F. in the first place! D.L.F.? Dear little friend. Oh... That's not at all patronizing, is it?" This time it was more of a straight forward action/adventure film. Just as good as the first one only a little darker and with more fighting. Great special effects and a great cast.
"John where are you going? I don't know. You get a second medal of honor for this. You should give it to them. They deserve it more. You don't belong here why don't you come back with me? Back to what? My friends died here, let me die here. The war, the whole conflict may have been wrong but damn it don't hate your country for it. Hate? I'd die for it. Then what is it you want? I want, what they want, and every other guy who came over here and spilled his guts and gave everything he had, wants! For our country to love us as much as we love it! That's what I want! The second installment in the Rambo series may not be as good as the first one but it's still a really good action movie. This time Rambo is on a mission to take pictures of American POW's still held in Vietnam to prove they exists. But it doesn't go as planned. Great cast with Julia Nickson-Soul as Co Bao, Steven Berkoff as Lt. Col. Podovsky, Charles Napier as Marshall Murdock and Richard Crenna as Col. Samuel Trautman and of course Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo.
"I wish I was back in Bragg now. We'll talk about it when you come in. I can't do that Sir. Look John, we can't have you running around out there killing friendly civilans. There are no friendly civilians! But I'm your friend Johnny! I was there with you knee-deep in all that blood and guts. I covered your ass more than once. Seems like baling you out of trouble's got to be a life-time acheivement for me. There wouldn't be no trouble except for that king shit cop! All I wanted was something to eat. But the man kept pushing Sir. Well you did some pushing on your own John. They drew first blood, not me. Look Johnny, let me come in and get you the hell out of there! They drew first blood... One of the most classic action movies of all time. Stallone in his prime as the vietnam war vet John Rambo who encounters a small town sheriff who doesn't like drifters. Great cast, Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo, Brian Dennehy as Sheriff Will Teasle, Richard Crenna as Col. Samuel Trautman, Jack Starrett as Deputy Sgt. Arthur Galt and David Caruso as Deputy Mitch. Great score by Jerry Goldsmith. Directed by Ted Kotcheff.
"You know what you are. What you're made of. War is in your blood. Don't fight it. You didn't kill for your country. You killed for yourself. God will never gonna make that go away. When you're pushed, killing's as easy as breathing. The fourth and the last? installment in the series, where Rambo sets out to rescue some christian aid missionaries and unleashes hell on the enemy. An extremely bloody and violent movie, more so than even it's predeccors. "Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now... And so we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... A dark knight." A fantastic piece of film making. Christopher Nolan made it even better than the first one, in every way. Great cast with Heath Ledger as The Joker, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-face, Gary Oldman as Lt. James Gordon, Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes and Christian Bale as Batman. Great score by James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer. It was even darker and more menacing than I thought it was going to be. Heath's performance was incredible and very different from Nicholson's, more real and more evil. Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance was much better than Katie Holmes, she made Rachel more genuine and sexier. Aaron Eckhart was really something else to see, he was brilliant all throught the movie. And let's not forget Christian Bale, he's made a fantastic Batman both in this one and the last one. It was more than just an action film and more than just a comic book film. A great drama/thriller/adventure film about good and evil.
"And we were dressed from head to toe in love... The only label that never goes out of style." The film was a great continuation of the tv series. It was just like a really long episode of the show. I loved it! Great cast Kim Cattrall as Samantha, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda, Kristin Davis as Charlotte, David Eigenberg as Steve, Evan Handler as Harry, Jason Lewis as Jerry "Smith", Chris Noth as John James "Mr Big" and Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie. Good music all through the film. I loved the way they incorporated moments of each character into the opening credits. A great feel good movie.
"This is Katsumoto's sword. He would have wanted you to have it. He hoped with his dying breath that you would remember his ancestors who held it, and what they died for. May the strength of the Samurai always be with you." A great epic movie of an end of an era, the Samurai era. Great cast with Ken Watanabe and Tom Cruise in the lead. Fantastic and beautiful photography with an incredible score by Hans Zimmer.
"Ellis, a girl didn't show up today. Would you replace her? Work is work, right? Even if it is dangerous? What have I got to lose? Your life..." A great suspense drama during WWII with lots of violence and sex, Paul Verhoeven style. Great score by Anne Dudley. Great cast with Thom Hoffman The Netherlands very own Russell Crowe and Carice Van Houten who is absolutely brilliant in the lead as Rachel Stein/Ellis De Vries, a jewish woman who'll go to great lengths in the war against the nazi's. A great film.
" I don't read the script. The script reads me." A bunch of spoiled movie stars come together to make the greatest Vietnam war film ever. It doesn't goes exactly as they planned. Ben Stiller has done a great comedy even better than Zoolander. Great cast with Jack Black, Steve Coogan, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Cruise. Robert Downey Jr. is absolutely fantastic as Kirk Lazarus, Tom Cruise is incredible as Les Grossman and together with Ben Stiller they have created a future comedy classic.
"What happened to just locking up bad people? We're all bad Tom." The film is like a cross between Training Day and Dark Blue. A good movie about corrupted cops unfortunately it has a weak ending.
"When I was a little kid I used to love hanging out in the rain. Drove my mom nuts. But I watched the flowers. Some would get crushed but some would burst back up after. So cool." A powerful and original film by director Vadim Perelman, about coming to terms with your own identity and the choices you make in life. Great performances by both Uma Thurman and the always brilliant Evan Rachel Wood. Also great performance by John Magaro as Michael Patrick. Fantastic cinematography by Pawel Edelman and a mesmerizing and haunting score by James Howard.
"If one sets a car on fire, that is a criminal offence, if one sets hundreds of cars on fire, that is political action." A very interesting film about one of the most famous terrorist groups RAF, The Red Army Faction or as they later were called, the Baader-Meinhof gang. Great cast with Moritz Bleibtreu as Andreas Baader, Johanna Wokalek as Gudrun Ensslin, Martina Gedeck as Ulrike Meinhof and Nadja Uhl as Brigitte Mohnhaupt. Great score by Peter Hinderthür and Florian Tessloff.
"My friends call me Dominic. I'm sure they do." Not the usual Bond film this time but more of a straight forward action packed film. The opening titles was the worst ever in a Bond film and the song was terrible. The cast with Daniel Craig, Olga Korylenko, Mathieu Amalric and Judi Dench was great. A more realistic and intense Bond film.
"You did it. You saved us." A good horror/thriller with not too much gore. I think it has a strong 70's feel about it. I liked this low key movie. Amber Heard (Mandy Lane) and Michael Welch (Emmet) were the best in this film.
"And there they are. America's most coveted cookies. Love Handles, Skinny Mints, Neener Neeners and Smackeroons. And guess what? They're all yours! Whoa, Hamilton. Hold on there, fella. I love your energy, but you just can't take 'em. But you just said they're mine. They will be, if we successfully marry your manic energy to my brilliant plan! You with me, kid? I...I...I... The I's have it! Let's ride." A great and funny animated movie with excellent voice acting from among others, Bruce Willis, Gary Shandling, Steve Carell, Nick Nolte, Eugene Levy, William Shatner, Catherine O'Hara and Avril Lavigne.
"I have a drinking problem? Fuck you Peck, you're a Mormon. Next to you, we all have a drinking problem." A dark, funny and weird drama comedy. Great cast with Frances McDormand, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Tilda Swinton, Richard Jenkins and the brilliant John Malkovich. Also in a small part J.K. Simmons as a CIA superior who doesn't like to be involved too much. Great ominous and haunting score by Carter Burwell. A spy film from the Coen brothers, done the way only they can do it.
"Demon! What are you waiting for? This is what you want, isn't it? Look at it. The last of it's kind. Like you and I. If you destroy it, the world would never see it's kind again... You have more incommon with us than with them. You could be a king... If you cannot command, then you must obey." A funnier, weirder and more magical movie than the first one. A visiually stunning film. Great cast with Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, John Hurt, Anna Walton as Princess Nuala and Luke Goss as Prince Nuada
"I'm sorry, you know how hard it's been trying to play it cool this whole time? I mean... It's been five weeks, we haven't even had sex! Well that's why we're here Alexis. I wanted to talk to you about... I think I'm ready to take the next step. Sex isn't a step Dustin. Being exclusive would be a step or moving in together is a step. Then let's move in together." A surprisingly very funny movie with Dane Cook, Kate Hudson, Jason Biggs, Lizzy Caplan and a sleazy Alec Baldwin. It's not the usual simplistic rom-com that's been done so much before. It's more crazy and vulgar but it's also very funny and a little romantic.
"Did you know that the word *person* comes from the Latin word *persona*, which means mask? So maybe being human means we invite spectators to ponder what lies behind. Each of us will be composed of a variety of masks, and if we can see behind the mask, we would get a burst of clarity. And if that flame was bright enough, that's when we fall in love. What's your opinion on these divine matters? I'm not going to fuck you. You know that, right? I hope that you know that somewhere." A weird and funny movie starring the always good John Cusack. Also Marisa Tomei, Hilary Duff, Joan Cusack, Ben Kingsley and Dan Aykroyd.
"A righteous man before me stands. A hero in these filthy lands. A brother in arms in heart are you. I was really hoping you get it too." De Niro and Pacino back together again for the first time since Heat. It's a solid effort but it's also a little disappointing. A great cast with Brian Dennehy, John Leguizamo, Donnie Wahlberg, 50 Cent and my favorite Carla Gugino.
"Are you really saying that the President can do something illegal? I'm saying that when the President does it, that means it's *not* illegal." A fascinating film about an interview with the worst President ever of the United States Of America. Great performance by Michael Sheen as David Frost and Frank Langella as Richard Nixon. Nixon comes across as a self-indulgent blowhole. And definitely not someone to feel sorry for. Great score by Hans Zimmer and a great film by Ron Howard.
"Lucian, it is finished! No, this is just the beginning." A good prequel to the Underworld series. But it left me wanting more, it was too short I think. I could have gone for another half an hour or even an hour longer. Good cast with Bill Nighy, Michael Sheen and Rhona Mitra in the leading roles. It is definitely a must for the fans of the series.
"Tell me about your double life. What do you think about? I think about a girl who's dead because I didn't look in a closet." I liked this film and I like Richard Gere as an actor but I'd never heard of this one and it went straight to DVD which is usually a bad sign. But it surprised me in a good way. Richard Gere was really good in the leading role. Unfortunately Claire Danes was not. It's a creepy film about a nasty subject. All in all, it's a good thriller.
"So are you scared? About what, the dentist? No I've never really been bothered by going to the dentist. It would freak the shit out of me right now if I had to go in the there. I don't think I could handle it. I kind of like it. I mean, it's not like I'm a masochist or anything, it's just... Well, in a way, it makes me feel like, Yeah... My teeth are being taken care of. You know? It makes me feel... prosperous. I'm sorry, where you talking about something?" I'm not a stoner or anything and I don't really watch stonerfilms but I liked this film alot. I thought Anna Faris was hilarious in it. A very funny film.
"We can't change who he is, not without dropping him into a vat of toxic waste. Steve! Where would we even find a vat of... Steve!" A good and funny high school film with superheroes and sidekicks. Good cast with Kurt Russell, Kelly Preston, Bruce Campbell, Michael Angarano, Danielle Panabaker and superhottie Mary Elizabeth Winstead. A fun film for the whole family.
"Let's get them no good cheeky bull in the big bloody metal ship." An epic movie set during World War II with fantastic cinematography. Great score by David Hirschfelder. Great cast with Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, David Wenman, Bryan Brown and Brandon Walters as Nullah. A great film made in the same tradition as the old classic Hollywood films.
"I thought you recognized me from my work, but you're not my demographic so I'm not offended. Well, who's your demographic? Do you like pussy? Yeah. Then not you." A good and funny comedy. The romance part though, kind of ruined the film I thought. Great cast with Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks, Jason Mewes, Jeff Anderson and Justin Long among others. Justin Long Kicked ass as Brandon St Randy the gay porno actor. He was hilarious.
"Mostly the job is to ask questions. The frustrating part, the part that drives you crazy, is that the people you really want to talk to, are dead." It's definitely not the average serial killer movie but I liked it. It's a very low key drama about a female police officer (Eliza Dushku) and her battle to find a killer and her battle against her own disease. Eliza does a good job in the lead.
"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have any money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have aquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you. Good luck." A thrillride of an action film. Liam Neeson in the lead is like an unstoppable machine. A good hardcore action movie.
"What are you doing? I'm burying you. But I'm alive, I'm alive. You're waking the neighbours, shut up!" A funny comedy about two grown men living at home, who acts like a couple of spoiled teenagers. Good performances Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.
"I'm not the guy you kill. I'm the guy you buy! Are you so fucking blind that you don't even see what I am? I sold out Arthur for 80 grand. I'm your easiest problem and you're gonna kill me?." A really good low key drama thriller about a man (George Clooney) who fixes problems for a law firm. Good acting by George Clooney, Tom Wilkinson and Tilda Swinton.
"I have the money! I have the power!" A good drama thriller with good performances by Joseph Gordon-Lewitt, Jeff Daniels, Carla Gugino, Isla Fisher and Matthew Goode.
"Fuck, this hurts so much. I know it hurts. That's life. If nothing else, it's life. It's real, and sometimes it fuckin' hurts, but it's sort of all we have." A great and beautiful film written and directed by Zach Braff. Great cast with Braff, Peter Sarsgaard and the wonderful Natalie Portman.
"I am so fucked." It's like a good long episode of the TV show but not as good. I didn't like the actress they replaced Laura Harris with, she was terrible. And I missed Mandy Patinkin. Good cast with Ellen Muth, Callum Blue, Jasmine Guy and Britt McKillip as Reggie Lass.
"Who are you? I'm like you. What do you mean? What are you staring at? Well? Are you looking at me? So scream! Squeal! Those were the first words I heard you say. I don't kill people. No, but you'd like to. If you could... To get revenge. Right. Yes. Oskar, I do it because I have to." A great unusual drama/horror film about vampires. Great performances by Kåre Hedebrant (Oskar) and especially Lina Leandersson (Eli).
"Seriously, I know this sounds weird but can we be best friends? Just us for real? I think we all should be best friends. You guys are my best friends. We shared a moment. You guys are like both of my best friends and you didn't even know it and now you know it and we'll all be best friends." A pretty funny comedy/action movie. Great performances by Seth Rogen, James Franco and Danny McBride.
"Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon. That's always been the difference between us, Dan." A great, weird and dark superhero movie that doesn't look like any other superhero movie ever done. Great cast with Patrick Wilson (Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl II), Billy Crudup (Dr Manhattan/Jon Osterman), Malin Åkerman (Silk Spectre II/Laurie Jupiter), Matthew Goode (Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Comedian/Edward Blake), Carla Gugino (Silk Spectre) and especially Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach).
"You just haven't figured it out yet, have you? What? The big picture! I guess not. The Beatles. What about them. This! Look, other bands, they want to make it out about sex or pain, but you know, The Beatles, they had it all figured out, okay? *I Want to Hold Your hand*. The first single. It's effing brilliant, right? That's what everybody wants, Nicky. They don't want a twenty-four-hour hump sesh, they don't want to be married to you for a hundred years. They just want to hold your hand. A good and funny comedy with some great music in it. Great cast with Michael Cera and the very cute Kat Dennings.
"Life is pretty much in the grays for the most part and if you insist always on black and white... You are going to be very unhappy." A relationship drama about a group of people in their late 20's struggling to become adults. I didn't like the ending, what kind of ending was that? Good cast with Zach Braff, Jacinda Barrett, Rachel Wilson, Casey Affleck, Blythe Danner and Tom Wilkinson. A good romantic drama except for the ending.
"Will all your stories have happy endings? My characters shall have, after a little bit of trouble, all that they desire. A wonderful and sad love story about Jane Austen before she became a published author. Great cast with James McAvoy and the wonderful Anne Hathaway as Jane Austen.
"The thing that haunts a guy is the stuff he wasn't ordered to do." A great low key drama about an old man and his confrontations with his asian next door neighbours and the complications that follows. Starring and directed by Clint Eastwood.
"We have to show the world that not all of us are like him. Otherwise, this will always be Hitler's Germany." A good drama thriller about the failed attempt to kill Adolf Hitler. Great cast With Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Terrence Stamp, Eddie Izzard, Tom Wilkinson, Carice Van Houten and Tom Cruise.
"You must know... Surely, you must know it was all for you. You are too generous to trifle with me. I believe you spoke to my aunt last night, and it has taught me to hope as I'd scarcely allowed myself before. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on." A good romantic drama with excellent cinematography and a good cast. Also a great score by Dario Marianelli. But, it wasn't the masterpiece I thought it was going to be. I thought the character Mr Darcy was dull as dishwater except for the last 10 minutes. And Keira Knightley was sometimes really good and sometimes not very good at all. A good film not a great one.
"Your sister seems very happy. Yes. Marianne does not approve of hiding her emotions. In fact, her romantic prejudices have the unfortunate tendency to set propriety at naught. She is wholly unspoilt. Rather too unspoilt, in my view. The sooner she becomes acquainted with the ways of the world, the better. I knew a lady like your sister - the same impulsive sweetness of temper - who was forced into, as you put it, a better acquaintance with the world. The result was only ruination and despair. Do not desire it, Miss Dashwood." A masterpiece of romantic drama directed by Ang Lee and written by Emma Thompson based on Jane Austen's book. This film has it all. Great cast, Kate Winslet excel as Marianne Dashwood, Emma Thompson is splendid lowkey as Elinor Dashwood, Hugh Grant likewise as Edward Ferrars and Alan Rickman is marvelous as Col. Christopher Brandon. Excellent score by Patrick Doyle. Together with fantastic scenery makes this the very best of the Jane Austen books turned into a film.
"The numbers are the key... To everything." An interesting and different drama/suspense/Sci-fi movie. Good cast with Nicolas Cage, Chandler Canterbury, Lara Robinson and Rose Byrne.
"American? I'm Cristina, and this is my friend Vicky. What color are your eyes? Uh, they're blue. Well, I'd like to invite you both to come with me to Oviedo. To come where? To Oviedo. For the weekend. We leave in one hour. What- Where is Oviedo? A very short flight. By plane? Mmm-hmm. What's in Oviedo? I go to see a sculpture, that is very inspiring to me. A very beautiful sculpture. You love it. Oh right. You're asking us to fly to Oviedo and back. Mmmm. No, we'll spend the weekend. I mean, I'll show you around the city, and we'll eat well. We'll drink good wine. We'll make love. Yeah, who exactly is going to make love? Hopefully, the three of us." A good and funny drama/comedy with a great cast including, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Hall, Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz. It was a really good film, not as good as his older classics but still, it was good.
"I'm sorry, my boyfriend is sitting there. Is he? He's fucking small isn't he." An hilarious comedy about celebrities being treated like royalty and how much a writer is willing to sell himself, in order to fit in. Great cast with the brilliant Simon Pegg, Jeff Bridges, Megan Fox, Gillian Anderson, Danny Huston and the wonderful Kirsten Dunst.
"Homeland or death!" A great drama with fantastic cinematography and an amazing performance by Benecio Del Toro as Che. It had a very distinct documentary feel to it. Both in the jungle scenes and the black and white scenes when Che visited the U.N. in New York. I liked it very much, it's slow moving but very interesting drama of the revolution in Cuba.
"In closing, I would like to repeat what I said to Monje. Me? I'm already here. They would have to kill me to get me out of here. I'll be at the side of those who stay, until victory." This second part is rather sad to watch, because the revolution didn't succed the same way it did in Cuba. The Bolivian communist party never supported the cause and told others not to join it. A great part two as good as the first one. Benecio Del Toro is yet again fantastic.
"I told you earlier I have a destiny, a purpose. Satan reasons like man, but God thinks of eternity. Well, I prostrate myself before a world that's going to hell in a handbag, 'cause in all eternity, I am here and I will be remembered. That's destiny. A bomb has a destiny, a predetermined fate set by the hand of it's creator. And anyone who tries to alter that destiny will be destroyed. Anyone who tries to stop it from happening will cause it to happen. And that's what you don't understand. We're not here to coexist. I'm here to win. So you'd better have some divine intervention, buddy. You're gonna need it." An interesting and original action movie. Great cast with Denzel Washington, Paula Patton, Val kilmer, Adam Goldberg and Jim Caviezel.
"I'm coming for blood, no code of conduct, no law." The best film in the X-Men series so far. It's a great thrillride with both drama, romance, humor and lots of action. Great special effects and a great cast with Liev Schrieber, Ryan Reynolds, Dominic Monaghan, Taylor Kitsch, Danny Huston, Will i Am, Kevin Durand, Daniel Henney, Lynn Collins and of course Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
"You've always had a hard time finding your place in this world, haven't you? Never knowing your true worth. You can settle for less in ordinary life, or do you feel like you were meant for something better? Something special." Without a doubt the best of the Star Trek films. It wasn't what I thought it would be. I expected a darker feel to it, like The Dark Knight. Instead it was more like Iron Man. But don't get me wrong I liked it a lot. The humor and the banter from the earlier films were all there. And what a cast. A fantastic cast with great performances from Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock Prime, Erica Bana as Nero, Karl Urban as Leonard McCoy, Bruce Greenwood as Captain Christopher Pike, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu, Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov and Leonard Nimoy as Spock Prime. I hope they do lots of sequels as good as this one or better.
"Joan, let me ask you something. All that work I did at the end of our marriage, making dinners, cleaning up, being more attentive. It never was going to make a difference, was it? You were leaving no matter what... You never made a dinner. I made burgers that time you had pheumonia." Another weird and funny drama by Noah Baumbach. It's not surprising Wes Anderson is one of the producers, it has the same feel his films have. Great cast with Jeff Daniels, Laura Linney, Jesse eisenberg, Owen Kline and Anna Paquin. I liked the New York setting, it felt sometimes very early Woody Allenesque.
"Sorry. I'm here. I didn't see you. I'm just writing my vows. I'm trying to do something appropriate but also funny. Not jokey, more character-based humor. You having an OK time? Yeah, besides Wizard getting out. Yeah. We'll find him. Or else, I don't know. We won't. Right. Or else, he's dead or something. It means a lot to Paul that you came. Yeah." A weird and funny drama/comedy about a crazy family. Great performances by Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jack Black.
"Anger and resentment can stop you in your tracks. That's what I know now. It needs nothing to burn but the air and the life that it swallows and smothers. It's real, though - the fury, even when it isn't. It can change you... turn you... mold you and shape you into something you're not. The only upside to anger, then... is the person you become. Hopefully someone that wakes up one day and realize they're not afraid to take the journey, someone that knows that the truth is, at best, a partially told story. That anger, like growth, comes in spurts and fits, and in its wake, leaves a new chance at acceptance, and the promise of calm. Then again, what do I know? I'm only a child." A great, funny romantic comedy written and directed by Mike Binder. Fantastic cinematography and a great cast with Joan Allen, Kevin Costner, Alicia Witt, Keri Russell, Erika Christensen, Mike Binder and Evan Rachel Wood.
"Do not dare to read this book, for if you take one fateful look, you barter at your life's expense and face a deadly consequence." A good, fantasy, children's movie with some great special effects and some good actors like David Strathairn, Mary-Louise Parker, Nick Nolte, Sarah Bolger and Freddie Highmore as Jared and Simon Grace.
"And those who refuse to see the light of liberty shall receive no mercy. There will be no liberty for the enemies of liberty." A powerful drama about Goya and his muse Inés during the times of Spanish Inquisition and the French Revolution. Great cast with Stellan Skarsgård as Goya, Natalie Portman as Inés and Javier Bardem.
"Nobody's that much better than anybody else at the big tables. They have different styles, different ways of doing things. Everybody knows how to play. The key to winning is watching and understanding." A good romantic drama about poker. With a great cast like Eric Bana, Drew Barrymore, Robert Duvall and Debra Messing.
"What else have you seen Kale? I... I saw you swim. Yeah, what else? I... I've seen a lot. A good modern day thriller of the original Hitchcock film Rear Window. Good cast with Shia LaBeouf, Sarah Roemer, Carrie Ann Moss, Aaron Yoo and David Morse.
"Without hope, life's not worth living. All men are created equal. No matter how hard you try, you can never erase those words." A great film by Gus Van Sant with a fantastic performance Sean Penn. Great cast with others like James Franco, Emile Hirsch, Victor Garber and Alison Pill.
"Command wants us to fight like machines, they want us to make cold calculated decisions. But we are not machines and if we behave like them then what is the point in winning." A pretty good action film and very different from the other Terminator films. Story wise it fits right in there with the others and you should really see the other films first before you see this one. A good cast with Christian Bale as John Connor, Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright, Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese, and Dallas Bryce Howard as Katherine "Kate" Brewster.

"Oh my god, what is that? I'm sorry... It's the morning." A good and funny romcom with Sandra Bullock (her last?) and Ryan Reynolds in the lead. Sandra and Ryan are a great on screen duo and very funny together. It's the best romcom Sandra has done in years.
"That's a real honest to goodness couple right there. They've probably been together since the flood. We're so arrogant, aren't we? So afraid of age, we do everything we can to prevent it. We don't realize what a privilege it is to grow old with someone. Someone who doesn't drive you to commit murder or doesn't humiliate you beyound repair." I was very surprised by this film because generally I try to stay away from romantic films, where a character gets a disease and dies in them. This one was different from the usual stereotypes. He dies, yes but you don't get to see it, thank you. Hilary Swank was really beautiful and funny and Gerard Butler was cool and very sexy. A great cast with Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler, Lisa Kudrow, Gine Gershon, Kathy Bates, Harry Connick Jr Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
"I'll do it, I'm... You are very kind, Harry, but your blood is worth more than mine." Overall it was a good film, even excellent parts of it. But they changed a lot this time, even more changes than The Order Of The Phoenix had. I understand why they have to do some changes but it was very difficult watching it sometimes. I have to see it another two, three times more before I can really decide if it was good enough or not. It took at least three viewings before I liked The Order Of The Phoenix. Great cast as usual with among others Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman and Bonnie Wright.
"It is a fallacy that prolonged war will weaken an occupied enemy. It most likely will make your enemy stronger." A great modern day spy thriller about America's war on terror. Leonardo DiCaprio plays a CIA operative who is trying to find a major terrorist leader. I like these types of films and this was one of the better ones, much better than The Kingdom. Great cast with among others Russel Crowe, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Golshifteh Farahani and Leonardo DiCaprio.
"Hey Carl! Do you wanna give all your money away to a homeless guy? Yes, yes I do. How about letting him burn out your phone battery so you can't phone triple A when you've run out of gas? You know what, that sounds like a fucking great idea! Why don't you take a late night stroll through the hills and get killed by the Manson family? Don't mind if I do." A funny comedy with the always excellent Jim Carrey and Bradley Cooper, John Michael Higgins, Rhys Darby, Danny Masterson, Terrence Stemp, Sasha Alexander and the always wonderful Zooey Deschanel. "Life has a way of making the foreseeable that which never happens... And the unforseeable that which your life becomes." A western in the classic tradition with an unexpected ending, sort of. The film resembles many other of my favorite westerns like Wyatt Earp, Open Range, High Plains Drifter, Silverado and so on. I enjoyed this film very much. "I need to know about Germans hiding in trees. And you need to tell me right now. I respectfully refuse, sir. Actually, Werner we're all tickled to hear you say that. Quite frankly, waching Donny beat Nazi's to death is the closest thing we ever get to going to the movies. Donny! Yeah? Got us a german here wants to die for country! Oblige him!" A great but very different film from what I thought it was going to be. A film with it's own unique style. It's like a summary of Tarantino's films so far with small ingredients from his previous films. Definitely a very entertaining and funny drama film that takes place during WW II. Welcome home, Sidney. You're a survivor, aren't you, Sidney? What good is it to be a survivor when everyone close to you is dead? You can't save them. All you can do... is watch. Not bad, but not as good as the first 3. Still enjoyable though. Pretty scary, funny and about as gory as the others, no change there. Except for the ending, that was very different than the past 3. A very good and effective film version of the book with excellent acting from everyone involved. Especially Jennifer Lawrence in the lead as Katniss Everdeen. I was very impressed by the whole look of the movie and one thing in particlary, the reaping scene was much nastier than in the book, I thought. Overall an excellent movie.
