I loved it, although those whjo watched it with me didn't. its not a movie for everyone. but a movie that talks about the restless spirit that move in us and how those of us who find that companion spirit a lucky since in such a relationship we can find the tools that are need to set that spirit free for now. by the way for those who never galloped on a horse b4 let me just say that it is a feeling of ectasy mixed with the exillarance of pure untamed primitive freedom. |

The concept of Mona Lisa Smiles is that it is a smile of most mystery, after all is she truely content with life or is she simply putting on a facad. A smile that women have used for centuaries. our mystery smile. |

OK boys if you really wanted to see what a woman can and is made of this is the movie to watch. She is a female stuckin a desk consulting job in the US military when she would really like to be apart of army more specifically the navy she is given the oppourtunity when the Texan governor calls the army on being sexiest. Thus she enters one of the most difficult trainning camps in all the army where she meets a whole lot of sexist and annoying prigs as welll as many challenges, both in the camp and in civil society. But she kicks both their butts. |

I loved this movie , I remember seeing it when i was a preteen at the European Film Festival and thus it is know to me as "Martha, Meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence". Anyway its about this American girl (Potter) who travels to Engalnd in the hopes of finding herself meets three different men Frank (Rufus Sewell) and egotistical critic, Daniel (Tom Hollander) a spoilt rich kid in a man's bod and Laurance(Fiennes) the one more in touch with reality;All on separate occassions. But there is one thing Martha doesn't know and that is that all these men are the best of friends, but Lurance fingers it out as he listens to his friends idle boast and thus cornered with the morality question of what to do or rather who to choose; his friends or a woman he is insanly attracted to, and what will happen if she finds out on her own the connection between them. the movies is funny with both british and US humor as well as a bit twisty as laurance finds himself telling all to his neighbour, who's a shrink( or is he). |
