"This was a great film for me tonight. I was in the mood for a feel good funny flick and that is what I got. Miles Teller is becoming a favorite for me. I find him to be very funny. The film was my kind of humor and I know not everyone appreciates it. But the story did have a subdued storyline which I wasn't expecting but felt it mixed with the film well. It's a film about having a good crazy time and touching base with best friends that you've lost touch with. I'd see it again."
"The movie was by far one of the lamest I've had the displeasure of seeing in my lifetime. But yet I have no doubt the film was meant to be everything it was. I can appreciate a funny yet stupid film, but unfortunately this film only brought me a few laughs. Some of the storylines were pretty hilarious, but the others fell flat and were quite boring. I was surprised by how much talent the film had and also surprised the actor's in the movie were all willing participants. It's something to watch to pass the time, which is why I watched it in the first place. If your looking for a fun/funny comedy I would skip it. But then again if stupid humor is your type then I would say you might want to give this one a go."

Cast: Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, Emily Watson, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hayden Panettiere, Ioan Gruffudd, Shannon Lucio, Cayden Boyd, George Newbern, Chase Ellison Director: Dennis Lee Summary: In the wake of an unexpected family tragedy, novelist Michael Taylor (Ryan Reynolds) is forced to confront his fractured relationship with his father (Willem Dafoe) while dealing with painful memories of his mother (Julia Roberts), a woman who moved mountains to protect him. Emily Watson, Hayden Panettiere, Ioan Gruffudd and Carrie-Anne Moss also star in this semiautobiographical tale of rage and redemption from writer-director Dennis Lee. My Thoughts: "I loved this movie. The cast is amazing right down to the young children acting in it. Great performances by them all. The story goes back and forth from past to present and really does a great job at putting you in this emotional, dark, tragic story. Willem Dafoe was brilliant at playing the father. It has to be his best performance in a movie that I have seen him in. It's a beautifully made film. I am a big fan of Ryan Reynolds, he is a talented actor with the gift for being able to pull off any genre. Julia Roberts is another one of those actor's. She was great in this as was Carry Moss and Emily Watson. See it if you get the chance."
"One of my favorite films and books of all time. The book is one of the reasons I fell in love with reading. I remember watching this in class and everyone, including myself, were in tears. The movie and these actor's really brought the story to life in a way you wouldn't have gotten from the book. I thought they all fit the characters so well. Matt Dillon was my favorite. Him and Patrick Swayze. The cast is one the most talented group of guys of that time and some are still hitting it big on screen. It still shocks me that there are still people out there who haven't seen the movie. So if you get the chance, do so. It's one that I will always love."
