Officer John McClane (Bruce Willis) is back in this fast paced action packed adrenaline rushed fourth installment, Live Free or Die Hard. John is now a Detective with a daughter all grown up thats not too fond of him. One night, John gets assigned to pick up a computer hacker named Matthew Farrell, (Justin Long). As soon as John gets to Farrell, heavily armored bad guys tear Farrells place apart with huge amount of gunfire. John & Farrell barely escape. With Farrell's life on the line, John is trying to figure out why someone would want Farrell dead, Later on, John finds out that a psychotic mastermind named Thomas Gabriel, (Timothy Olyphant) is holding the world for ransom. As John gets closer & closer to Gabriel, things become more dangerous and personal for him.
Live free or Die Hard is my favorite out of the Die Hard franchise. It is very entertaining filled with alot of high voltage action sequences that never let up. The action stunts were so real which made this movie even better to watch. My favorite sequence was when John McClane blew up a hellicopter with a car & he said he was out of bullets. That was the best memorable scene of the movie. Even though this one was PG-13, I still found it kinda of violent. You don't see blood when someone gets shot but it damn sure is intense. I don't see why everyone is complaining about the rating. I mean if all they want is McClane to say the F word every second, then sure. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed hearing this one was being toned down unlike the previous three at first. After I finished watching it, I realized the rating fit perfect. So with the PG-13 rating, that still doesn't make this one the least out of the franchise. I still think this was the best one where it had so much more exciting & thrilling moments. There will be some that won't buy the unbelievible script. It works for a film like this. It was still a hell lot of fun to watch. If yall say that the third Die Hard is better than this one only for the language, then you all are retarded. These movies were not made for the language. They were made specifically for the gritty action/violence. Overall, Live Free or Die Hard still continues to be my #1 film of all time. I recommend this one if your fan of the franchise or just if your all into action flicks.
Bruce Willis does another outstanding job as our hero. I just love seeing him having fun with this character. When you think of John McClane, only one word comes to mind, badass! No other actor has talent like this guy does. Bruce was made for acting because he always makes his character's believible. He's great in everything that he's in which makes him a legend. Bruce still manages to b my #1 actor. Bruce is irreplaceable in that spot. Long live the great Bruce Willis. yippie kay yay!
Timothy Olyphant was very dark & full of anger as Thomas Gabriel. I thought Gabriel was John McClane's worst nemesis so far. The fact that Gabriel had the guts to take John's daughter & tried to kill him. From seeing Timothy's performance in this movie, he is now officially one of my favorite actors. Timothy has the right stuff to play any character he wants. Hope to see him take on more evil roles in the future because I think thats what he's best at.
What can I say about Justin Long, BRILLANT!!! Justin's acting ceases to improve everytime i see him star in a film. Justin almost stole his film by his intelligence. It was defenitly a shocker for me to see Justin take on a role of a computer hacker who has to have smarts into knowing what he's doing. He definitely pulled it off. Justin is a well gifted actor. I can't wait to see him take on more roles in the future. Justin is the most talented young adult actor yet!
The young a sexy Mary Elizabeth Winstead who played John's daughter, Lucy. All I can say is she's on her way to a great career. Mary has a big future ahead of her. She also looks like she could pass for a model as one of the sexiest young actresses. Mary played her role very well & made an impact in this installment by portraying McClane's daughter.
Maggie Q who was Olyphant's hot asian operator/assassin made her character believable enough. Maggie is the first asian actress that can actually act. I just loved watching her kick John's butt & listening to her sexy deep voice. Maggie should pass for a model too. Hope to see her in more films such as action like this one. Maggie is one my favorite actresses that has a bright future in the acting business. Hope she keeps up the good work showing her acting ability & her sexy self.
Whoever hasn't seen this film yet, go out & grab yourself a copy either on DVD or Bluray. I would recommend it more on bluray with the high rating picture/audio it received. The only thing that sucks about the Unrated copy that its only fit for DVD. The Unrated one is the best because it has alot of scenes that wern't shown in the original. Trust me this movie is worth buying & adding to your collection. It's the best Die Hard yet and action film ever!

John McClane: I know I'm not as smart as you guys with all this computer shit. But, hey... I'm still alive, ain't I? I mean, you've *got* to be running out of bad guys by now, right? Huh? Gabriel? Honestly, you can tell me. I mean, how does that work? Got some kind of service or something? Some kind of 800 number? 1-800-HENCHMEN? Oh, you know what? I bet you're still on hold with, "Can I get another dead Asian hooker bitch over here right away?"
John McClane: I could come and find you, kick your ass and throw you out of your own party. What do you think about that, dickhead?

Batman/Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) is back & better than ever in The Dark Knight. This time Batman has to face his true & worst enemy of all time, the Joker (Heath Ledger). Batman doesn't know what he's in for this time around. The Joker causes more chaos for Batman than any villain has before. The only way that the Joker will stop causing destruction for Gotham City is getting his hands on the mayor of Gotham City Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). Now, Batman has to do what he does best & that is using his high tech skills & gadgets to take down the Joker & sabotage his evil plan.
The Dark Knight is truely an amazing picture. It was enjoyable & entertaining throughtout. It holds your attention till the very end. Everyone lights up on screen. My favorite Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, & Aaron Eckhart who did a super b job with their roles.
Christian Bale was at the top of his game. He is the biggest A-list actor right now & seems to live on as one. Everytime he appears on screen I get so excited to see what he's made of. Christian still proves that he's one of the biggest actors in history that still lives on today.
No words can descibe how amazing Heath Ledger was as the Joker. Heath was just out of this world showing us that he can be another person without showing his real face. I thought it was his best performance ever. He played the Joker full of laughs with powerful acting. I thought he stole the movie. I mean he's basically what everyone wanted to see this movie in the first place. Even though, I was never into watching Heath on screen this movie changed my mind on that. It was so sad of the tragic death about him but he will always be rememberd as one of the well gifted actors ever. Heath Ledger will never be forgotten. This movie just made him the biggest star of our time. Two very big thumbs up for him portraying as the Joker.
Aaron Eckhart was the next best one out of the bunch. When he sets his mind on something, he shows the audience, exactly waht he can do with it. He's probably the few with talented acting skills thats come long way in our lifetime. Aaron was vicious criminal as Two-Face. Man, he looked so dark & played a good villian half of the time. Aaron needs to keep starring in more roles because I would like to see what he takes on next. Aaron's on his way to the top & beyond.
Maggie Gyllenheal is the last that I thought stood out. Maggie has turned into a great actress & gorgeous woman throughout the years. She looks better & better as she's on screen. She sure knows how to turn someone on by her wonderful personality & beauty. Hope to see her take on more roles in the future.
This film had plenty of action, drama, & flat out suspense which makes it worth watching over & over again, its that great yall. So who ever hasn't seen this movie, go & grab you a copy on DVD or Bluray. i'm sure yall all will have a great time watching just as I did. Its defenitly a masterpiece with great acting & writing. So see it & enjoy, you wont regret it. The Dark Knight is the best movie of 2008 & batman yet..

James Cameron returns after 12 years to bring back science fiction to a whole new futuristic level full of amazing visuals in this sci/fi epic called Avatar. Avatar takes place in the not too distant future where a paralyzed ex-marine named Jake Sulley (Sam Worthington) gets called to help the military with a mission on a planet called Pandora. The military gives Jake the chance to get his legs back by going undercover as an avatar to get in with these creatures called the Navi by leading them to death. As Jake is with the Navi, he meets a Navi warrior named Nyterri (Zoe Saldana) who teaches him their ways of their tribe. Later on, Jake falls in love with Nyterri while the military discovers that Jake has betrayed his own kind. Jake starts an all out war with the military where he must fight with his new race to save their existance.
Avatar is one of the best films I've seen in 2009. It's James Cameron best work since Titanic. Avatar goes beyond anything you've ever seen before. Avatar is the best concept that I've ever heard in science fiction. I found it extremely moving. The way James Cameron comes up with these things is amazing. The art & score in this film is beautiful. Those two subjects are glorious in which carries the whole film. Everything in this film is realistic which made it great & fun to watch. The characters were outstanding with very good dialogue. I was shocked with a run-time this big for this film would have such a fast-pace. From the start, you get right into the action as Jake gets right to the mission to explore a fantasy world. Avatar is just exciting as the film takes you on a ride through a planet that hooks to you where you can't take your eyes off the screen. I didn't get to see this film in 3-D but I'm sure its just as good as 2-D. The film has moments of gripping adventure & epic action sequences that will blow you away. When the action comes, its fast & furious where its a blast to experience. The ending battle sequence is adrenaline rush that you can't get enough where you keep begging for more. It's filled with everything that you could possibly want in a battle featuring heart stopping gunfights, high octane explosions, flying ships & robots with high amunition, & bow arrow fights. All the characters makes this film great * worth watching with their believable roles they take on. The film has a number of great actors including some lengendary ones like "Aliens" Sigorney Weaver & the hostile Stephen Lang.
The one that did the best job I think was Austrailian Sam Worthington who portrayed Jake Sulley. This dude gets better & better in every film he stars in. Sam was good in Terminator Salvation but was a little off in some lines. In Avatar he's close to perfection where he takes on an english accent that makes him seem American. Sam even kicks more butt this time around making him seem closer & closer to one of the best action stars out there. I can't wait to see him in his next starring role in Clash of Titans. I have a big feeling that Sam is going to very big in the future. Hope he reaches that goal.
Zoe Saldana is the next best who played Nyterri. I tell ya this actress is very talented in everything she does. In every film I've seen her in, she doesn't disappoint as she makes her films entertaining by watching her act. She is a beauiful african american woman who takes on a different language in here making it seem very believable in her own way. I was amazed of the way she spoke the language. That shows me that Zoe can do anything she sets her mind on. Hope to see her in more starring roles. Zoe has a big future in movie business heading towards her. To tell you the truth, I feel she is already there, she's that good. Everyone else is good too in their performances but I think those two stood out more.
Overall, Avatar is worth the price of admission where you won't want a refund. I don't know what to tell ya about the 3-D version but I'm sure its just amazing as I said before. So if you in great film-making sci/fi/action/adventure this is right up your alley. Grab some popcorn & strap yourselves down & enjoy a ride that you won't soon forget. Avatar is a pure of heart sci/fi epic advenure with fascinating concept filled with wonderful performances & plenty of epic action sequences that will leave you breathless that you want to experience all over again.

The Blindside tells the inspiring true story of an African American boy named Michael Oher who has had a poor Childhood growing-up. Michael has so much potential but has trouble understanding things as he has never had anyone teach him. All that changes one night, when a mother named Leigh Touhy (Sandra Bullock) & her husband, Sean (Tim Mcgraw) are driving & find Michael walking on the road. Leigh gets out of the car & asks Michael if he needs a place to stay. Leigh offers to take Michael in to live with them till he decides he wants to leave. As Michael is living with the Touhy's, he's never felt happier in his whole life as he feels like he has a real home & a family that really cares for him. One day, Michael gets his wish as The Toughy's ask him to be one of the family. Michael accepts the Toughy's offer & is officially on of them now. From there, Michael becomes everything the Toughy's expect as he accomplishes & reaches goals from beyond measure.
The Blindside has be the best movie I've seen all year long. I just had such a fun & enjoyable time while watching it. During the whole film there is not a single boring moment there. You get touching & funny scenes that make you smile & cry. The story & acting was so powerful & amazing beyond anything I have ever witnessed. Sandra Bulock gives your best performance ever as the mother who puts herself on the line for Michael by taking him in to her family. Sandra was also very sarcastic in some scenes that cracked me up. She just knows how to show the audience a good time especially by her looks. I loved the color of Sandra's hair which brightened her face. Sandra still proves that she is the most talented actress out there. I just love her to death in which she will be on of my favorite actresses of all time. Welcome back Sandra, its good to have ya back. The one who I was impressed with was country singer, Tim Mcgraw who gave a breakthrough performance. I've seen Tim in some films where he's good to make it believible but from this, he plays just like he is in real life. Tim played such a great father who cares for his family willing to do anything for them. Sandra & Tim's two children were also surprisngly good. The boy who played Sean Toughy Jr. is a very smart youngen who tries his best to help Michael with whatever he needs help with. Thought that was very funny & cool at the same time. Sandra's daughter was very sweet in that one scene where Michael was sitting in the library all by hisself & she came over there & sat with him so he wouldn't feel lonely. The Blindside had a good run-time even though it was long but entertaining all the way. There's no way nobody cannot like this one. It's just so watchable that you can't take your eyes for a second. It draws you in with the characters feeling what they go through & everything. Overall, The Blindside again is the best true movie I've ever seen & the most emotional one. Even if you don't like true story's I'm sure you'll love this one. I assume that everyone loves the true story films because of how exciting they are. But like I said, if your not in dramas or based on a true story kind of thing you might not dig it. In my opinion this film is for everyone. Everyone has to see this with no exceptions. I would be very happy to own this to my collection of my DVD's. The Blindside is a great true story that will be adored by viewers by incredible acting, entertaining premise without flaws, & emotional & heart feeling time at the movies.

The Crazies is horror remake from George A. Romero's original about a small town called Ogden Marsh filled with kind folks that live in happiness being impossible for anything bad to ever happen. One day, all that changes when a local county Sheriff named David Dutten (Timothy Olyphant) witnesses a drunk walking on a baseball field with a shotgun. David is freaked on not knowing whats going on. Suddenly, David goes on the field to approach the drunk to defuse the problem. The David tries to talk the drunk into giving up his weapon & leaving quietly. The drunk refuses & the David puts the drunk down using excessive violence. From there, David & his deputy, Russell (Joe Anderson) go around town investigating the conditions of the other town folks while David's wife, Dr. Judy Dutten (Radha Mitchell) comes across the same matter herself. Things start getting real bad for everyone when the contamination begins to grow by turning almost everyone into a crazed maniac. David, Judy, & Russell must fight to stay alive to figure out the conspiracy behind the contamination before the infection continues to spread.
I have to say after seeing the trailer for The Crazies I wasn't expecting much. Man, was I in for a surprise being blown away by how great this film turned out. I'm such a big fan of horror now all because of The Crazies. Seeing The Crazies, I didn't know it was a remake. Now that I know, it makes me want to see the original which I know I'll like just as much. I've been hearing so many people bashing the Crazies which I don't know why considering its the best horror film I've ever seen. So shame on whoever is dissing this remake. I know we all seen this zombie contamination spreading virus thing before but this is one of the better of it being more intelligent & interesting for that matter. The Crazies puts you right in the action taking place during a baseball when you witness a disturbing situation involving a crazed person. From there, the disturbance doesn't let up as the pace is consistant all the way through where there is hardly a dull moment. After it comes to a pause here & there, it just picks itself up again & gives you something else exciting to look forward to. I was so shocked of how much I had fun & enjoyed myself with The Crazies. After watching this, I just want to get up & go crazy. The Crazies features alot of jump & scare moments that just keep poping up when u least expect them. I can remember a number of times I got scared watching this flick. I'm sure if I watch The Crazies again, I won't remember which scare was where. They were so well placed in the film where you don't know which part your going to jump at. If someone see this & tells you that the scares were predicatable, don't listen to them. I'm sure they jumped too. Their just saying that because it comes rare in horror films to easly get frightened. I don't see how anyone couldn't jump with how loud the sounds were making the scares believable & not cheap. I think the scene that scared me the most was when this crazy dude was walking upstairs hunting for his family then disappears. Suddenly out of nowhere he jumps out of nowhere & scares the crap out of me. The audience I was watching this with jumped the same time I did at that part. Even though I'm giving you heads up on that part, you won't see it coming, trust me. Their were so much more but I think that was the one scare that got me the most. The score was creepy & terrifying & the sounds were very effective that makes you get into the film so much more. Alot of people are saying The Crazies is predictable but I don't think so. For me, it was unpredictable ever second where I didn't know what was going to happen next. That was the whole fun experience of the film not knowing what to expect. The Crazies defenitly keeps you on the edge of your seat keeping your heart pumping for more to come. The Crazies is the first zombie film I've witnessed thats not big on violence/gore but don't let that take the fun away from ya. Just because a film like this doesn't provide a whole bunch of violent aspects doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. However the violence is intense when it hits providing some bloody violence to be had. From begining till end, you'll be strapped full of fear the entire time by getting engaged with stoyline, likeable characters, exploding with intense high caliber action set pieces, & frightening horror elements. I think my favorite set piece was the car wash scene. That scene was so intense where it makes you think if you were in that situation surounded by killers what would u do or how would you escape from them? I love it any horror films when the action is taking place where the heroes are not afraiid of what their facing where they take up arms protecting theirselves by showing that they mean business when it comes to staying alive. The biggest thing that made The Crazies worth watching alone were the great performances.
(Hitman) & (A Perfect Getaway) Timothy Olyphant shines once again on screen playing a believable character providing you entertainment with his actions by giving you one heck of a fun show. Timothy is the strongest link here as he's the action hero with his funny lines. I love Timothy's work as he can be serious & have fun all at the same time. Timothy is one of my favorite actors ever since his first film I saw him in which was (Gone & Sixty Seconds). Timothy has real talent especially with his deep voice that you know right off the bat was made to act. Hope Timothy keeps it up inspiring the audience with his work. If Timothy continues to do just that, he'll become of of the best where he'll earn an oscar or academy winning performance.
The sexy & talented austrailian actress (Silent Hill) Radha Mitchell is next in line giving a powerful emotional performance making the audience get in & end up loving her character. It was good to see Radha back in action fighting for survival. i think these roles suit her the most because she was made to be action heron with horror. Radha does such a good job entertaining the audience kicking butt & freaking out. From seeing Radha in this makes me love her more where I know now that she has what it takes to be in the acting business. Even though Radha is an aussie, she is very good speaking english that makes her seem american. Everytime I see her spreaking english in films, I sometimes forget she is austrailian, thats how good she is. Radha's on her way up to one of the hotest & talented actresses ever to be on screen. i love to see Radha in more films like this or just something different that she hasn't took on yet. i'm real interested to find out but know for a fact that she'll succeed.
Overall, The Crazies is for horror freaks looking for a good scare & trust me you get just that. Don't listen to critics or other users. Just go & watch & decide for yourselve whether you like it or not. To me, if all you want is to be entertained watching crazy things happening over & over again then this is defenitely the horror film for you. The Crazies is fun, exciting, slick, stylish, horrifying, spectacular, stunning, riveting, shocking ride that will keep you watching & begging for more to come.

Kickass is about an ordianry nerdy type of teenager named Dave who one day says enough as he becomes a mask avenger called Kickass. Kickass has no super powers just his skills fighting crime. Kickass becomes popular real fast as he becomes an icon to everyone. When that happens, an underworld crime boss wants to get his hands on Dave & destroy his destiny. Kickass will not stop at nothing as he keeps inspiring his fans of how extroadinary he is by giving brutal beat downs.
I was throughly amazed how cool Kickass turned out to be. From the start, you get drawn into the chracters portion of becoming a superhero. Kickass is one of the superhero films that rarely comes around as you witness a ordinary boy kicking butt that seems like it was based on true story. Anybody could put a costume on & go out & fight crime but everyone doesn't have the guts to do something like that. In Kickass, the character doesn't care whether he lives or dies which is why I loved it so much. I loved seeing Kickass standing up to thugs with his braveness not going down without an ass whoopin. Kickass is very entertaining as you go along with the characters in this world just beating the holy heck out of each other. It's pretty predictable who my favorite out of the bunch of superheros here & that is Hitgirl. She was just a total badass with weapon skills killing bad guys in alot of gory ways that seemed unrealistic but fun at the same time. Warning: This film is really brutal as you witness limbs being sprum off, necks broken & just bloody violence thats spread throughout the picture that I found exciting but a little bit over the top in parts. Since this has an R-rating going for it, there is alot of cursing that may not be suitable for all viewers because it can be sometimes quite strong in points especially with sexual content thats mixed in with it. I still had fun with Kickass & I'm sure all you love superhero films will probably think this is the best they've seen by far. Kickass is an enjoyable brutal blast adventure of exciting fun that will sure to put a smile on your face if your in for alot of violent ass kicking pulse pounding nonstop action.

Ninja Assassin tells the story about a trained warrior named Raizo (Rain) who grows up to be a weapon of mass destruction. One day, Raizo decides that he doesn't want to be part of the ninja clan anymore so he ends up betraying them. Now, Raizo is being hunted by his own ninja clan who will stop at nothing until he's assassinated. As Raizo is a target, a eurocop named Mika (Naomie Harris) is investigating the murders that traces towards Raizo. When Mika comes face to face with Raizo, she puts herself in danger where not only the ninja clan want to kill Raizo but wanting her dead also. Together, Raizo & Mika must join forces to take out the ninjas & make sure their arn't any of them left breathing.

I just got back from the midnight screening of Ninja Assassin. All have to say is freakin awesome!!!! This movie was off the chain with ninja action. From the start it puts you right into the action mayhem. It opens up with a bang full of gory violence & you know exactly what you in for throughout the rest of the film. Ninja Assasin offers alot of fight sequences & especially bloody violence which was way over the top. Sometimes it went too far as it was like watching a horror slasher flick. This had a number of stylized action sequences that were so amazing with it's slick special effects. Some of them were hard to see where they were fighting in the dark & close up. I think I was sitting too far up to the screen, thats probably why i'm complaning about that. This movie has it all you can really ask for in an action film like sword fights, guns, & tons of blood & gore in every direction.
When some the action is taking place, the ninja's weapons like the swinging dagger & stars they use comes off the screen making it seem like in 3-D. I really think it should've been in 3-D because it would be sick & the director would've got away with it with the way he puts close up shots in your face. I think my favorite part where the technolgy was used was the ending fight sequence featuring Rain taking out 5 ninjas spinning his dagger around cutting them to shreads & pauses for one sec going slow motion with the dagger looking like its coming right at you.
Their were only two things that kept this movie from being perfect. First, theirs the plot. It was so weak. It couldn't decide what it wanted to stay on. It was just all over the place. Their was no need for the eurocop's investigating. It just slowed down the action in parts making it look like a boring drama. I also don't know why they had to put a romantic session in this. I just didn't understand why they would use that when it was just about living in the ninja world. I'm glad it wasn't too much because it would've took the feel away from the title. I also didn't like how the director made the ninjas supernatural. They move fast in shadows in the speed of light. I just thought that was kinda of corny. Even though it wasn't what I was expecting from the ninjas, I thought it was still an experince. the last thing that disturbed me was the over the top CGI in the blood. i just thnk they could've notched the CGI down a bit that would atleast make it feel somewhat realistic but unfortunately the diector wanted to make this film more comic book violence.

I was pretty surprised by the acting especially by the awesome Raizo played by Rain who basically stole the film with his badass skills. if they decide to make another Mortal Kombat sequel, hope they pick Rain to take on the character Lui Kang because i think that he would seem perfect for the role with him being expert with weapons & martial arts that are beyond amazing. hope to see pop star rain in more martial art films if not Mortal Kombat.
Naomie Harris is another one that was good. Namoie is very attractive & a good actress as well. Naomie can be serious & funny at times during the film that makes it fun to watch, She's pretty cool in action using her glock kicking butt. This is probably the best role i've seen her take on in her whole career basically because she's using english accent. Hope Naomie starts using english more often as its believable enough for her to pass on it.
Overall, if you can't handle blood don't see it because thats all this one has throughout. If you can handle for all it has to offer, then you'll have one hell of a great time. Honestly, I think this is more of a guy film then girls, its that simple. I enjoyed the heck out of it & can't wait to see it again & own when it comes to DVD. Ninja Assassin is great stylized bloody action entertertaining thrill ride thats sure to make fans satisfyed by all means..

From the Director of Taken brings a new high class action/thriller to life called From Paris With Love. From Paris With love sets off in Paris where you meet a intel operative named Reece (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who is trying to get a promotion by inpressing the U.S. Ambassador with his skills. Meanwhile, the U.S. Ambassador gives Reece a shot to prove hisself worthy to see if he has what it takes to be an agent of combat. For that to happen, Reece must team up with U.S. best field agent agent Chalie Wax (John Travolta) thats specialized in weapons, hand to hand combat, spy technolgy & all talk to take out terrorist's who have planned an attack on the globe.
All I have to say for From Paris With Love is Bravo! Pierre Morel who did Taken last year does a fantastic job once again filming great action to make it classic. Pierre cranks up the action/violence even higher this time so the action genre can be worth your time. By watching the trailers & tv spots, I knew it was going to have a good amount of action in it that was going to be enjoyable to watch. I never thought it was going to be over the top action that would blow me away. From Paris With Love took out every action film I've seen in the last decade. If you think Liam Neeson from Taken brought down the Eiffel tower, think again. It's just wall to wall action every step of the way with no dull mometns for 90 minutes. The film starts off slow in the first 10 mins or so but once Travolta comes in, the game is on giving you flat out entertainment. This is buddy type film as Travola teams up with Meyers to go head to head with terrorism. Travolta & Meyers makes a great duo by having great chemistry as their both funny. There is very little plot here but for a film like this, story isn't the case. All From Paris With Love is action piece after another till the conclusion. This film reminded me of Shoot 'Em Up as Travolta goes in as a untouchable one man strike force. From Paris With Love is unrealistic in the same sense as the hero jumps dodging & sliding by bullets but thats what makes it so fun.
There are a number of thrilling action set pieces that take place in a chinese resturant, warehouse, apartment & high speed chase. Everyone one of those scenes are my favorite because they all have an extended length to them. They all have to do with intense gunfire featuring bloody wounded battles & explosions that will knock you right out of your seats. The action was handled very nicely where you can see everything going on without any cut shots. That comes very rare now days.
The language is very strong thats mostly used by Travolta & Meyers. The two of them basically uses the F-word off left & right. It's like their calling card. Everything the two of them say is pretty much funny. Travolta also has some good one liners that I found cool. There was one I heard he used in Pulp fiction "ROYAL WITH CHEESE." & another with his gun calling his wife Mrs. Jones "till dealh do us part." I thought that was hillarious.
I was pretty surprised with the acting here. The acting is not oscar worthy by all means but it was good enough to like. I was really impressed with the comeback from Travolta. This is where he belongs & should stay because the genre suits him perfectly. I liked the whole head shaved, goatee, & ear ring thing going on with him. It defenitly makes him seem different but in a good way. To tell you the truth, I perfer John to stay bald. Just something about it that I like about him. For his age, he should stay looking that way. For all you Travolta haters, yall's mind will change after you see him in this. Travolta is back & better than he's ever been. Travolta still has the goods.
Jonahthan Rhys Meyers was a surprise. Seeing him in other films I didn't think too much about him but in here I was shocked of how he portrayed his chracter. Jonathan did a nice job teaming up with Travolta that seemed believable enough. I also like the fact that Jonathan spoke good english for a british actor. Jonathan was really good making him seem a full american. Hope to see Jonathan in more roles speaking english. I defenitly think thats how he should keep acting.
You know, I love action films where the director thows in a hot chick to make it more sexy. There's a real fine french girl that I couldn't take my eyes off. As soon as she popped up on screen, my jaw suddenly dropped of how dead sexy she is. I really enjoyed the make out scene. That really turned me on as I wish I was in Jonathan's position. She's just so fun to look at & listen to her sexy accent that turns me on. Probably the sexiest girl I've seen since Olga Kurylenko. She has the whole package of great beauty. I can actually picture her in a Bond film. I know right then & there she would go down as one of the best Bond girls because of what she brings to the table. Hope this isn't the last time we see her.
Seeing this, I didn't expect a twist. I definently didn't see it coming. I'm not giving anything away if thats what your thinking of the picture above. When the twist comes, its so shocking that you can't believe it. It's probably the best twists I've witnessed. I loved it & sure everyone else will feel the same way. There was just one small problem I had with this From Paris With Love & that was that it couldn't decide if it was an straightforward action flick or a politcal drama. I thought it was great being an action one because of how much it gives you throughout. The political part I didn't seem to care for since it was something small they couldn't really use. The director just threw it in there to have some seriousness to it. I actually kind of liked it being serious for some reason. I think it made the movie a tad better. Overall, From Paris With Love defines action. If your going to see this for a good story with action, sadly you'll be disappointed. From Paris With Love is just crazy fun that will have action junkies begging for more. The fans will be pleased that they'll get exactly what they came to see. From Paris With Love is a fun entertaining stylish bullet flying high octane hard-hitting full throtle adrenaline rollercoaster nonstop over the top actionfest film-making masterpiece.

The Book of Eli stars Denzel Washington portraying a lone warrior named Eli who is being led by God on a mission for 31 years in an apocalyptic world to deliver a book that's earth's last key of survival. On Eli's quest, he comes face to face with cannibals, rapists, & thugs who are just asking for trouble. Quickly Eli despenses them in killing them off one by one by using weapons of combat & martial art fighting skills. Later on, Eli heads to a town where an outlaw named Carnegie (Gary Oldman) & his gunmen featuring (Ray Stevenson) who have been searching for Eli's book that wants possesion of it's power. Carnegie makes an offer to Eli to join him by handing over the book so they can rule the world together but Eli refuses & makes matters worse for him as Canegie threatens to kill him. Now, Carneigie wants Eli's head where he ends up hunting him down everywhere he goes till he gets the book. Eli must do whatevers necessary by fighting to keep the book safe from Carnegie & make sure he reaches the destination before time runs out.

I just got back from a screening of The Book of Eli & it was totally awesome. From the trailer's, I thought it wasn't going to be that great or have alot going for it but I tell ya after it was over, this film became on my top list. i felt real inspired by the events that took place in the film such as the engaging plot, thrilling action, & wonderful acting. I loved the stylish look of the film which I thought made it that much more fun to watch. Like the way the Directors used that certain use of color to make the world to make it look dark & scary b/c the world might look like that way one day in a wasteland. From the start The Book of Eli pulls you in to the story by gripping you as you go on an exciting adventure with Eli on a quest for survival. I was really surprised of how much enjoyed this film. I didn't think it was going to have alot of action but it did & it was nonstop pretty much all the way through as you see Denzel kick butt through explosive shootouts, brutal killing with a machete & bow & arrows. This film brought a mix of genres into one where one point it feels like a road film,western with guns blazing, & superhero film which I thought made the film better to watch. There's also alot of shocks in this film. There was two in the very begining where a cat comes in & Denzel nails with his crossbow. It went through slow-motion style & then let loose fast into & killed the cat. So cat lovers will be slightly hurt b/c of that part. The last shocker was Eli surrounded by these cannibals & one of them comes up & touches Eli & Eli warns that guy not to touch him again or he wont get it back. Out of nowhere, he brings his machete up real fast & slices his hand clear off. Man, I wasn't expecting that at all. I was surprised of how violent this film was considering the fact of the rating. Its rated R for some brutal violence & language. I really think they messed up that part b/c theres gore to b ehad here also. The movie should of been just brutal violence instead of just some. Thats why I wasn't too sure if this movie was going to have alot of action/violence b/c of rating. Anyway, I can tell ya its violent enough where you see hands & heads severed, bloody shots, grisly images, sexual & rape scene, quite a bit of strong profanity. The Book of Eli is also very entertaining so you don't have to be worried bout being through boredom. The film was almost perfect in my opinion if only they only put more thought in the premise. In the third act, it becomes to slow down a bit & reveals a twist that you don't see coming asking yourself "what the heck is going on?" where things don't quite don't add up making it seem impossible. The twist still shocked me but I was hoping that it would have more to it than what they gave us but I thought i was still satisfying. It's different in a case that i haven't heard before but in a good way though making it intriguing. I just wish the twist was very unique & intelligent but no movie is perfect so I guess thats why they through that in there but I still liked how it worked out. Oh & after you watch this film, you may want answers to questions that were left unanswered throughout the film. So the film is not without it's flaws but what movie isn't.

The one thing I enjoyed most about this film was the acting that came by surprise from everyone on screen. I can tell ya that Denzel stole the show 100%. Denzel gives the best performace of his career there was no doubt in my mind that he was going to succeed through his acting ability b/c he's always great on screen, doesnt matter wat he takes on. he really kicks butt in this one. it was good to see denzel take on something different & he did exceptiionally well with it. like to see him take on more roles like this one.
Gary Oldman is who came in second for me with his great performance taking on a psychotic bad guy. Gary went over the top sometimes just like he always does on a character like this. He's really good at it though. I enjoyed his character of how abusive & hardcore he was. I have to say that this is his best performace I've seen by him. Gary did what he had to do & that was make the audience dig what he had to offer which was entertaining.

Mila Kunis has came along ways from her acting skills. Mila is really on target here as she plays herself as a sexy & stunning character. I admit from seeing her in her last action flick Max Payne, I thought she wasn't too good so I thought could she be the same way here. Nope, she wasn't. Mila gives the best performace of her career also where she shows the audience that she has star power willing to do anything when she sets her mind on to it. This was a very good start for her. Hope Mila keeps it going b/c I have a feeling if she does, she's going to be a very good actress one day. She just needs to keep doing way she's doing & she'll get there where everyone will be a fan of hers which by this film they already are.

Lastly but certainly not least is the biggest surprise in the film, Ray Stevenson. Witnessing Ray in Punisher War Zone, I knew he had acting skills but wasn't sure if he was quite there yet realizing that that was his first American film. Ray starring in this changed my mind about the subject as he brings a fresh new taste to his acting where he gets more lines than his last film. I can tell ya, that Ray is on his way to Hollywood being a talented actor. It was good to see him talk more & above everything else stick with the action genre which suits him well. Ray kicked butt in this film hunting down Eli with automatic machine guns & his character was so believalbe of how he was risking to get what he wanted. Hope to see Ray stay with the genre of action & take on a role where he's the lead actor & see just what he can do to make up for the Punisher role giving more lines & embrassing the audience with his phenomal acting ability.

There were more actors that gave into their characters but they had smaller roles like the sexy Jennifer Beals that we haven't seen in a long time playing a belivible blind woman who was really good. Her heart was set on emotion for her daughter doing everything to protect her from Gary.
Michael Gambon who we haven't seen play in a film like this was given probably one of the smallest roles of the film that gives a surprisngly appearence. While Michael was on screen he was cool & funny with jokes making the audience dig his character.
Michael McDowell was only at the end who didn't really do much with his character so I couldn't really get into him as much as the others.
Overall, The Book of Eli is fantastic piece of filmaking with great acting, score & action. This film is especially very good movie for Christians if they can handle quite a bit of violence & language. It asks you about faith & how you think the world will be with it against good vs. evil. So if your into religion, breathtaking action or just want to be entertained. I recommend you go see this. To me, I think everyone will dig this film as it brings something new to the table with its twist. The Book of Eli is a breath of fresh air to kick off action films for 2010. The Book of eli is sensational, visually stunning, action-packed, engaing, & well made film. I give The Book of Eli 4 1/2 star for being the closet film to perfection.
Eli: They will kill to have it but i will kill to protect it.

Paul Walker gives a powerful performance as a gangster/father named Joey Gazzale who gets hisself in a whole mess of trouble when a young boy named Oleg (Cameron Bright) takes a gun that Joey used to kill a cop with during a shootout. Now on the run, Joey must find the gun & Oleg before the Mob does & kills them both.
Running Scared was such a entertaining movie throughout. One of Paul Walkers best performances & movies to date. This movie had alot twists & turns throughout. It keeps you guessing till the very end. It had some shootouts from here & there which were really violent & cool to watch. This movie also contains adult language throughout & believe me when I say this. It is probably one of the worst cursing movies ever made. The acting was amazing from everyone including Vera Farmiga who also gives a outstanding performance as Joey's wife. Johnny Messner who was one of Paul Walkers Mob buddies takes this film very seriously, Last but not least, the talented young Cameron Bright who is a very outstanding actor gives a shocking performance as oleg. There are more but those were the three including Paul walker who I thought did the best in this film. Overall I recommend this movie for Paul Walker & crime/gangster fans. This fim is worth watching over & over again. Running Scared is an action/crime adrenaline rush of a movie.

The Departed is a gritty crime/drama about South Boston police force who are closing in on the Mafia leaded by Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). The only way the police can take Frank's mob down is one undercover cop named Billy Costigan (Leonardo Dicaprio) who has to get inside & find out just exactly what Frank & his men are up too. As Billy is undercover with Frank, Frank has a rat named Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) who helps Frank escape in stuations where the other police officers don't know about. As all this goes on, things get deeper with Billy & Colin as they collide with one another's identity's where they become in danger to the enemy. Now Billy & Colin is in a life or death situation where one of them has to come clean before the other one gets caught.
This is one of the best drama crime & gangster moves to date. I enjoyed every minute of this movie. It has an amazing cast who all do very well especially Leonardo Dicaprio. I tell ya Leo might still be young actor but he is one of the youngest rising actors out there. He was brillant just like Mark Wahlberg, Matt Damon, Jack Nicolson & the rest of the cast on screen as well. I watched this movie almost everyday because its so entertaining & i never get bored watching it. I recommend for who hasnt seen this film yet to go out & buy it. Its worth every penny trust me.

Antoine Fuqua, the Director who brought you Training Day brings you another gritty cop/drama called Brooklyn's Finest. Brooklyn's Finest revolves around three cops who are having a trouble time on the police force. First, theres Eddie Dugan (Richard Gere), a burnt out cop thats getting ready for retirement but is not sure if he wants to leave the force just yet. Next, is Tango (Don Cheadle), an undercover cop whose wanting a way out by protecting an enemy named Caz (Wesley Snipes), a gangbanger that saved his life. The only thing standing in Tango's way is a promotion to first grade Detective if he completes his task by taking down Caz. Then their's Sal (Ethan Hawke) a dirty cop who cares for his family that is willing to do anything to support them. Things get bad for each of them when things don't go as planned where they will go above the law to do watever is necessary to make their careers worth living.

When going into see Brooklyn's Finest, I didn't know what to expect except for great acting which was the reason I went to see this in the first place. When the film was over, I walked out extremely satisfied of what a great cinematic experience I got watching Brooklyn's Finest. This is without a doubt the most intriguing & entertaining cop/drama's I've seen in years. Brooklyn's Finest starts out slow for the first 5-10 minutes with a conversation going on at a cemetary but when you get introduced to the characters, you get drawn deep into their stories where the pace begins to rise where there is hardly a dull moment in sight. Each story about the cop's lives are interesting & emotional that keeps you wondering whats going to happen next. I loved seeing what each cop was trying to accomplish with things getting conflicted at the moment. For this film's length which is nearly 2 hours long, it never gets boring as tension gets built from one scene to the next keeping you entertained. This film seems different from most as it flashes back to characters live's instead of concentrating on just one of them. I was quite disappointed with Richard Gere's story as it didn't give me much to look forward to with his case. I still enjoyed what was offered with him though. Brooklyn's Finest is quite bloody & brutal for a cop film. I expected the film to be like that throughout the film but was ok for me because I don't like a whole bunch of violence espcially when it feels realistic. When the violence comes, it hits hard full of impact as you get bullets of blood, beatings, & just harsh violent aspects. Brooklyn's Finest is very dark cop film thats always gritty & full of violent content almost in every scene. To me, Brooklyn's Finest seems like its based on a true story as violence occurs on the streets of Brooklyn in real life. So I think this film sends out a good message about cops/gangsters. I don't think cops are at war with gangsters everyday but when they are, they get up close & personal with each other doing everything they can to win. This film also contains elements thats only for a mature audience only. Their were some things that I wasn't aware that I didn't even think was going to be in this film like strong sexuality, over the top strong language, drug use & more. I just think those things could've been cut down a bit. Now, for the highlight of the film has to be the wonderful acting. Gere, Cheadle, Hawke, & Snipes were at their best. They all make their characters believable for you to get engaged with their performances. Their the ones that really make this film worth watching. If it wasn't for their characters the film wouldn't succeed.

The one actor that stole the show for me was the powerful Don Cheadle who portrayed undercover cop, Tango. Just watching Don makes me wonder if he could be a cop in real life of how great he was in this. Don has come along ways since his other films. Don's last film I saw him in was Traitor that I thought he did a great job thinking that was his best of his career, unfortunately I was wrong. Brooklyn's Finest has to be his best starring role he's ever taken on. There's no other words that can describe Cheadle's performance except for amazing. Don blew me away as he took charge of his role bringing his character to life. When Don wants to get aggressive, man he can get dirty where he could just snap going the extra mile by getting his way. Don Cheadle is a lean mean tough machine where I would love to see him take on more roles like this one where he's the tough guy in a serious film. There's no doubt in my mind that he can pull off another great performance such as this one. Thats how spectacular Don Cheadle is & I know for a fact that their is no way he'll loose that touch.

Ethan Hawke is the next best on my list. Watching Ethan in this, I have to say he has came long ways since Training Day which he was good in also but in here, he's stepped up his game by giving the best performance on his career. Now, Hawke's story is similar/exact opposite to Training Day's only he's the dirty cop this time around like Denzel Washington's character. I really liked watching Ethan act as the bad cop. Ethan made his character dark & vicious wanting to kill everytime i see's something he doesn't like. Whats so great about Ethan character is that I can hate & like him at the same time. I pretty much rooted for him the entire time while he was on screen. It was good seeing him bang a few heads & gun down punks & he did it without no remorse. Ethan still has the bad boy in him which I think suits him more than any role he's taken on. Ethan shows he has star power still wanting to go all the way to be a legend & I actually think he can still do it. Cant wait to see him in more film. Hope he keeps bringing them to us giving us something else spectacular about him.

Wesley Snipes comes in third portraying as a believable gangster named Caz. Wesley has taken on characters like this on before but I think this is his best performance that he's given yet. I can actually picture Wesley Snipes as big time gangster. The way he wheres a doorag & has the blingage on makes him look that way. I thought Wesley Snipes had great chemistry with Don Cheadle as they felt like brothers standing up for each other. Witnessing Wesley away from world wide releases, I have to say I missed him. Wesley never does good with those direct to dvd films. Thats why he's so bad in them because thats not his cup of tea. I think the reason he is bad in those films is because he makes them that way where he misses being on the big screen which is where he belongs. World Wide is Wesley's existance where he needs to stay because he is legend in acting. Wesley belongs with the bigs like Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington & more. Not, those little flicks with bad actors. From watching Wesley in here, I really enjoyed his performance making me believe that he still has the goods giving me a good show as always. I don't care what people think about Wesley being in jail away from the screen. I'm just glad to see him back which I hope he starts puting his career on the line in Hollywood. To me, Wesley your still one of my favorites where your always be on the top of my list. Hope Wesley brings back Blade so he can be back in action. If not, hope he keeps starring in crime/drama/action films but only on the big screen.

The Hangover is about four friends (Bradley Cooper), Zach Galifanakis), (Ed Helms), & (Justin Bartha) who plan to throw one of their buddies a bachelor party in Vegas. Everything goes smoothly the first night where they think their week is going to be blast. The next morning, they realize that something very strange is going on & they can't remember a thing that went on the other night. They also realize that one of their buddies is missing. Now, there is just the 3 of them that must go out in Vegas, find their friend, gather the glues & solve the mystery of why their memories are lost.
As of right now, The Hangover is my favorite comedy ever. I laughed throughout the entire film with an interesting storyline that was really unique & brilliant. The story draws you in from the very begining as you are introduced to the characters & solving the puzzle. Be warned, this film contains adult sexual situations & pervasive language that goes a little too far with the F-Word. Defenitly not permitted for children or teenagers. The Hangover is more of an Adult film thats mostly for guys & maybe girls will like it too but I think its mostly a guy film more than anything. This movie wouldn't of succeeded if it hadn't been for the cast. They make a great comedy duo by making the humor reach sky high.
Bradley Cooper had to be my favorite. He's such a great actor & love everything he's in. At first, I didn't think he had talent to be funny but while watching, I know now that he can do anything with his gift of acting. As of right now, Bradley is on the way to my top.
Ed Helms is next one I liked. I'm not familiar with him at all but I can tell ya this that he can put on a good show. By witnessing Ed in this, I noticed that he really knows how to keep the audience's attention. Ed doesn't shy away from the camera. He enjoys being seen to give the audience everything they asked for watching a film like this. Thats what I love about Mr. Helms & I hope to see more fo him in comedies.
Zach Galifanakis was a little strange for me but funny nonetheless. There were scenes where Zach gets out of control by acting immature doing really perverted things but he still had me cracking up.
Overall, The Hangover is worthy to you comedy collection. You'll be laughing till you can't breathe. If you can handle cursing & sexual material then The Hangover is defeinitly for you because thats basically all it is. I give The Hangover 5 stars for being the funniest comedy ever made & for making me have such a great enjoyable time watching it.

In the not too distant future, a retired nascar driver named Jensen Ames (Jason Statham) who is trying to support his family by his job. One day at work, Jensen gets mad over his paycheck because he was supposed to get more pay than what they gave him. Jensen then gets out of control & fights to prove a point. Jensen then, heads home where his wife & baby are. Jensen leaves his wife for second & heads upstairs. Suddenly, a stranger enters the door & shuts it tight. Jensen races downstairs getting ready to eat dinner with his wife. When Jensen gets to the kitchen, he sees his wife's body on the ground covered in blood. Jensen then turns around & gets knocked out. A few hours later, Jensen wakes up & is surrounded by the police. Jensen figures he got set up when he's holding a knife right next to wife's dead corpse.

Years later, Jensen is a death row inmate who gets transferred to a minimal secure wing prison where a woman warden named Hennessey (Joan Allen) has him over custody. As Jensen is in prison, he gets treated baddly from the warden by getting tortured. Jensen also doesn't get along with the other prisoners which makes him start brawling against them. From there, Jensen gets taken to Hennessey & she starts talking with him about what this prison is most popular for & that is a sports game called Death Race where prisoners race their cars to the death. Hennessey then tells Jensen about the driver named Frankenstien that was a legend in the races. Hennessey wants for Jensen to take his place Jensen tells Hennessey that he's not intrested & that he doesn't have a licence if he wanted to participate. Hennessey offers to give Jensen his licence back & his freedom if he participates in the race & survives. Jensen accepts & starts getting for the race. Hennessey introduces Jensen his team who will be helping him race. Hennessey introduces Jensen to Coach (Ian Mcshane) who is the mechanic who designed his car. Coach then shows Jensen the car he'll be driving & is amazed by seeing gun totting machine guns & shield called the tombstone with the car.

The next day is race day. Before the race Hennessey gives Jensen Frankenstien's mask to him so everyone will think that he's stlll alive. Jensen puts on the mask & is offically the new Frankenstien. Jensen goes out to the track ready to race. As Jensen is getting ready for the race, Machine Gun Joe, the 3 time winner & enemy of Frankenstien's stops by Jensen's car & notices that Frankenstien is still alive. Joe tells Frankenstien that he can't wait to win the race & kill him. It's just now seconds a way from the race to start & the drivers are waiting for their navigator's to arrive. When the navigators finally arriive, Jensen notices that their all girls but one. Jensen's navigator, Case (Natalie Martinez) heads to his car to strap in. Once Case enters Jensen's car, she knows that she's not riding with the old Frankenstien. Jensen meets Case & is ready to race. When the race starts, Jensen & the other drivers have to go through 3 stages while running into each other, firing off their machine guns & rockets till only one is left fighting for their lives in the Death Race. As the races go on, Jensen wonders of how he ended up in this situation. He suddenly realizes that this prison is not what it seems. Later on, Jensen gets a feeling that his wives killer may be on death row with him. Jensen must figure out the conspiracy of why he's in the prison & have his vengence along with winning his freedom.

I really enjoyed the heck out of Death race. It opens up with a action-packed scene that never lets up till the very end. It was full with lot & lots of car chases, explosions, & gunfights. I very much like the story as well. I thought it had a good plot for the movie. It was better than I was expecting it to be. When I bought the Unrated DVD, I was even more saisfied with the movie having more action in it.

Shoot 'Em Up is a violent crazy over the top action/thriller about man who goes by Mr. Smith (Clive Owen) who gets involved saving a pregnant woman who has an elite team of gunfighters headed by a psychotic leader (Paul Giamatii) after her baby. Mr. Smith comes to the rescue to neutralize the situation by taking of the gunfighters to protect the woman & her child. Moments later, Mr. Smith realizes that the mother didn't make it but with the baby still alive. Mr. Smith decides to take full responsiblity of the baby. From there, Mr. Smith & the baby run into danger everyhere they turn. Mr. Smith must use his unique shooting skills to protect the baby in the only way he knows how & nothing will stand in his way.
Shoot 'Em Up was one heck of fun exciting thrill ride. From the action-packed opening you get thrown with explosive gunfights & fast-paced chases that give you guilty pleasure. Shoot "Em Up has awesome writen all over it. Clive Owen is the ultimate action hero who kills alot of bad dudes with fully automatic machine guns who are trying to kill a baby. Seriously what more could you ask for? I tell ya the director defenitly picked the right title for this one. All the movie is what the title suggests. Shoot 'Em Up is the only action film that i've seen that gives you enough of what it has to offer. I was really suprised how entertaining this film came to be. It kept me on the edge in every scene. Not a dull moment as your smacked with action all the way through. Shoot 'Em Up is totally unrealistic as you witness Clive doing some really crazy things as he kills. For instance, jumping through the air shooting with a baby in his arms, getting chased while driving a car shooting at bad guys while the baby n harms way & jumping out of an airplane shooting also. The film is very insain at best but thats what makes it so fun because it can be. While Shoot 'E'm Up was in theaters, it was probably one of the best experience's in my life. I know it sounds like a line but I really mean it. It was like being on a rollercoaster as it hits you right in the face full of punches that you can't get enough of. Overall, if you don't care for unrealistic crazy aspects of shoorouts then this is defenitly the one film you need to check out. You will get your money's worth seeing it & owning it. Shoot 'Em up is a insainly trigger happy assault masterpiece of pure nonstop bloody action that keeps your adrenaline up full of a great time that you wont soon long forget.

When Nick finds & kills the one who was responsible for his son's death whose name is Joe Darly (Matt O'Leary), Billy Darly (Garret Hedlund), Joe's older brother finds out about who killed Joe & now he wants revenge, Nick is in a mess that he can't get out of. Billy is so full of rage over his dead brother that he threatens Nick & his family with a death sentence. Now Nick has to go over the edge by protecting his family & make sure that Billy & his gang gets what they deserve by waging a one man war against them. I've seen some good revenge movies in my day but this one just topped them all. Death Sentence was the most entertaining revenge tale I've ever seen. This movie has an engaging story which is so perfect for its genre. It's locked & loaded with spectacular action, suspense, & gruesome violence/gore. Its also a very sad movie. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.Kevin Bacon does a great job as portraying the vigilante full of emotion throughtout the film. Kelly Preston is good as the emotional mother who cries out for her family. Garret Hedlund was a psychotic gang leader who showed so much anger towards Nick & his family. All the cast did a good job making this movie belivible enough to entertain. Overall, everyone needs to see this.Iif someone hasn't, i recommend them to go out & pick theirselves up a copy. They wont regret it. It's defenitly one to own. Death Sentence is an all out revenge thriller with nonstop action, exciting thrills & bone-crushing suspense. 4 1/2 stars

Face Off is an awesome action packed movie about a cop named Sean Archer who gets revenge by capturing the one man Castor Troy who accidentally killed his son. Years later, Archer captured Troy in a hangout at a airport during a violent shootout. When Archer caught Troy, he also caught his brother during the process & found something in his brief case containing information about a bomb they planted in a building. There is only one problem, Archer doesnt know which building the bomb is hidden in. Now, the only way Archer can find out that info & bring Castor down, is for Archer to take Troy's identity by becoming him so he can trap him.

Face off has a ton nonstop action sequences including shootouts, chasing, & explosions throughout. The acting was great from everyone including the main stars of the movie which are John Travolta & Nicolas Cage. It has alot of bad language so dont be suprised when you watch this film. John Woo did excellent job with the gunfight scenes & set pieces. I really enjoyed this film & I'm sure everyone else will feel the same way too. This is also a very entertaining action flick so you wont be bored one bit while watching it. Overall, I recommend this movie for action junkies only, nothing more. Face Off is a rocket.full adrenaline pumping action.

Blade is based on the comic book legend about a half human/vampire (Wesley Snipes) who must hunt down the one vampire named Decon Frost (Stephen Dorff) who infected his mother (Sanaa Lathan) & for making him for what he is. On Blade's mission, he saves attractive nurse (N'Bushe Wright) from a bloodsucker that ended up bitting her. When Blade saves her, the nurse joins Blade on his quest for revenge. Together Blade & the nurse go through the night hunting the undead by looking for Decon. On Blade's journey, he relaizes something is going on in the vampire ranks. Blade witnesses that Decon is wanting to be more powerful. When, Blade finds that out, he starts trying to find out what Decon is up to by going through the city looking for answers. Blade finds answers & gives the information to his pal Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) who makes the weapons for Blade. Meanwhile, the nurse is starting to turn & trying to find a cure for Blade so he want be what is no longer. Now, Blade must stop Deacon's plan by using his martial art & weaponary skills to slay all the vampires before its the end of the human race.
Blade is probably the best cinematic experience i've had & the best comic book movie yet. From the very begining, you are drawn into the story of Blade while having a blast watching him kick ass. The opening action sequence probably has to be the best i've seen out of any action film. What i loved about that scene is Blade interupting a bloodbath party by just standing there waiting for the vampires to notice him. I thought that was total badass. After the opening bloodbath, the action just keeps moving in a fast pace where it barely slows down. By watching Snipes take on this character, it seems like he put his heart & soul into it. Snipes also looked like he was having fun which is always a plus. When actors do that, it makes the film that much more fun to watch. Director Stephen Norrington did a great job about coming up with the story of Blade & especially his wardrobe & weapons. After seeing Blades outfit, it made me want to own it. I think its that awesome. Also would love to own his samarai sword which is the best thing about the character Blade. Without Snipes or the sword, there would be no Blade. Stephen Dorff played the perfect vampire leader, Decon Frost. Stephen made his character very dark & pretty much took control which takes alot to do in movies. I thought Stephen had great chemistry with Snipes. Its just a thrill watching them go at it. Overall, if your into comic book films, Snipes, or a hardcore action/fantasy fan, you'll love Blade. Once the film starts rolling you won't stop watching. Blade is very entertaining actionier. I recommend this movie for all Blade & Wesley Snipes fans. TWO VERY BIG THUMBS UP!!!!!!! Blade is a flat out bloodsoaking vampire actionier full of pure horror & spectacular fireworks.

Mark Wahlberg wants justice in this action-packed/mystery/thriller, Shooter. Shooter is about an sniper ex-marine named Bobby Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg) who lost his best friend in the army & takes full responsibility.
Suffering from that for months, Bobby Lee gets called back into action when a Colonel (Danny Glover) comes to him for help to plot an assassination on someone who wants to kill the President. Bobby Lee doesn't really know if they can be trusted but he wants to help them anyway to get back on his feet.
A few days later, Bobby Lee heads to the location where the assassination will be taken place & scopes out where he thinks would be a good place to take the shot of the bad guy. When the time comes when Bobby Lee thinks the assasination is suppose to begin, something goes terribly wrong when the shot aims for the President but ends up missing him. When Bobby Lee witnesses that, he ends up getting shot & set up by the Colonel that he's the shooter. Bobby Lee ends up being a fugitive that the police & the goverment are after. In some way, Bobby Lee outsmarts them by escaping.
Bobby Lee is hurt & running not knowing who he can trust except one person which is his old partners girlfriend, Sarah (Kate Mara). Sarah nurses Bobby so he'll be healed to get back in shape. Sarah saves Bobby's life by doctoring him. After Bobby Lee is all well, he starts plotting to find the ones who tried to kill him.
Meanwhile, an FBI agent named Nick Memphis (Michael Pena) is trying to help Bobby Lee come clean by trying to prove to everyone he's innocent. Bobby Lee uses Memphis by training him as his partner to solve the conspiracy of why they want him dead. Bobby Lee will stop at nothing to get justice & make sure whoever is responsible pays for setting him up.
Shooter is an excellent & exciting action/thriller. It's the fugitve meets Rambo. This one provides alot of hight class entertainment like you wouldn't believe. It keeps you hooked right from the start with executed action sequences that are a blast till the explosive concluson. The story never gets slow or boring. It's really smart & engaging that keeps you interested & watching. The acting is completely brillant.
The actor that you realy need to watch is Mark Wahlberg. This is his best role he's took on in his career. I was shocked of how good he puled off his character. The character he played makes you think that he would actually be a sniper marine in real life of how he talks explains about his weapon & uses it. I could defenitly picture him as a marine. I tell ya, Mark made one heck of an action hero in this one. Mark is like Rambo in everyway. This movie alone made Mark Wahlberg a big action star. I can't wait to see what action role he takes on next. So pumped up for that. Hope he keeps the talented acting & stays badass.
The second person I liked in this film was Mark's best friend girlfriend, Kate Mara. She is one incredible upcoming actress. The chemistry between her & Mark was truely believible & outstanding. I think Kate is very beautiful & wonderful actress. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, she's very good with a gun so watch out as you can see above. Hope to see mroe of her in films. So far she's one of the greatest upcoming young actresses. Hope she keeps up the good work.
Third, is Danny Glover who played the Colonel. It's been a while since Danny had took on a role & I can understand he struggle's in some scenes but he comes out clean just the same. Danny still is one of the best actors that ever lived. He makes you keep watching him by whatever he pulls up on screen. Some people will think that he's a little different but he still has the acting in him. Danny will always will be one of my favorite's of all time. He never looses his touch or fustrates on what he's doing in a film. He stays with it & keeps it going till he's finished & he succeeds.
Fourth, is the young & talented Michael Pena. That dude takes his roles very well & makes his character so believible you couldn't imagine. He's right up there with the upcoming young intelligent actors around. Michael shows us how smart & how far he's willing to go to impress you ever watches him on screen. I liked how he joined Mark taking down the bad guys & how he was right by his side all the way through. I thought they made a pretty good team. Michael is one of the greats today.

Lastly but certainly not least is the beautiful Rhona Mitra. She also has a good role in this one as she works with helping Michael Pena's character. I just love watching this woman act with her wonderful talents over the years. Every role she takes one, she ceases to impress me everytime i see her. Rhona is so fine if I was her age I would defenitly date her. She has the most finest bod & legs out of any actress that I've seen. Gosh, just would love to meet her one of these days. Not because she's so gorgeous & all but her acting ability. Can't wait to see what she stars in next.
As for all the actors in this movie I didn't really care for because they had small roles & didn't even get into them that much.
Shooter is my #4 movie of all time now. It's mainly because it has a great storyline, great amount of action, & suspense throughout. By far this is Mark Wahlberg's best & action movie to date. I just love watching this movie over & over again. I'll never get tired of it. It will remain one of my greats. Shooter will always be a big movie in my dvd collection that will never get old to watch. Shooter is without a doubt a unforgettable action film that will always be remembered.

The marvel comic book action hero comes to life on the big screen about a wealthy intelligent inventor named Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr.) who gets wounded by explosion that pierced his chest & captured by a terrorist group in Afganistan who want Tony to build something for them from his project. Tony has no choice but to do what they want if he wants to live. While, Tony s working on building, he decides to make something for him instead to break loose. Tony builds a suit made out of iron that he takes out the terrorists with. When Tony escapes, Tony's best friend James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Terence Howard) comes to his rescue. From there on, Tony realizes that he's not just not the powerful Tony Stark anymore but a icon to the people as the man made out of iron who calls hisself Iron Man.
When I saw the preview for Iron Man I was stoked to see it. When it hit theaters I was planning on seeing it but wasn't sure if the film was going to succeed for me. So I didn't see it at that point. When it hit on video, I watched it & was very surprised how much I enjoyed it. I felt so abd where I had the oppurtunity to watch it on the big screen & completely ignored it. Anyway I finally saw Iron Man & loved every waking minute of it. From the start the action explodes in your face. Throughout the movie keeps you watching as you get interested into all the things that Robert Downy Jr. accomplishes. Iron Man is really cool & fun experience that you need to experience. It makes you want to experience being Iron Man flying & fighting crime. Iron Man just takes off like a rocket & blows your mind away. Robert Downy Jr. gives his best performance to date. Robert is perfect for the character of Tony Stark/Iron Man. Robert makes Tony his own by being funny & spectacularly intelligent. Robert does very well with the stunts to which I believe he did all by hisself. If he didn't, I think that he would be able to because he is so believible in everything he does in here. I thought for an action movie the action sequences were good enough with mindblending effects that are so astonishing to witness. For the first one, this is great. Of course your not going to get alot of action. It jsut gets you warmed up to seeing the second one which I can't wait for. Iron Man 2 might be a tad better than this one because it will have a bigger budget on the action but don't think it will be as genius. The casting is great for the characters, They make you keep watching them as they keep you entertained with their ability to give you a good show. Overall, Iron Man is almost a masterpiece but a great action film that will live on as a classic in every fans hearts. Bring on Iron Man 2.

Law Abiding Citizen is an adrenaline pumping revenge thriller about a father named Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) who looses his wife & child to a pair of killers leaving Cyde for dead in the process. The next day, an executive DA atorney named Nick Rice (Jamie Fox) gets assigned to Clyde's case. Nick meets with Clyde & tells him that he can't help him on his case. Nick tells Clyde that he has already made a decision about the killers & that is to let them go free. Clyde gets in so much rage when Nick orchastates the deal with the system. Ten years later, when its time for one of the killers death sentence to come up, Clyde returns full of vengence & terminates him by unknowing citcumstances. When Nick witnesses the execution gone wrong, he suspects that Clyde has something to do with it. Moments later, Clyde finds the other killer & gets him all to hisself by torturing him to death in the most brutal way he can think of. After Clyde tortures the killer to death, he then disappears & Nick comes in to investigate. When Nick witnesses the murder, he thinks that clyde has done enough. Nick ends up sending a task force to bring in Clyde so he can question him about why he came back to claim his revenge. From there, Things get bad for Nick & everyone else that had to do with Clyde's case as Clyde threatens to kill each in everyone of them if he doesn't get what he wants.
I must say when i first watched Law Abiding Citizen, i didn't know what to expect really except for great acting which was no surprise. It just so happens that Law Abiding Citizen really shocked me how amzing it was. I've seen some good thrillers in my day but this was beyond those. Law abiding Citizen ls a real thriller thats Dark Knight meets Silence of the Lambs meets Saw. It keeps you on the edge with pure awesomeness alway through. It doesn't have time to slow down as it keeps you entertained with everything happening. This has to be the best film I've seen on the big screen filled with exciting moments that you don't see coming. It's like experiencing being on a rollercoaster that launces you like a rocket from start to finsh. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this film. Br prepared to be warned on seeing this about the rating. This film is very violent in which it's very bloody & gory in parts. Last but not least is the hardcore language. It's not as worse as some revenge films like the lastest death sentence & punisher: war zone but its pretty bad. What made this movie succeed are the two main actors Geard Butler & Jamie Fox. The chemistry between the two of them was brilliant that makes you go woah. I only have one comlaint that didn't really sooth me & that was the ending. It was a good twist & all & didn't see it coming but instead of getting at the end, they gave it 30 mins till it was over that was different but at the same time disappointing. I like to witness twists at 5 mins before not way before. Anyway, I still think the first & second part was good enough to make this film great on its own terms. Overall, if you like thrillers, drama, & an enough action to go along. go see this. I promise you will defenitly like it if you turn your brain off & have fun with it. I'll be looking for this when it hits dvd so I can own it, its that good yall. Law Abiding Citizen is thrill of a minute heatpounding rollercoaster that will keep you guessing & glued watching till the end.

Armored is a new crime/action/thriller about an armored truck team that enjoys their job delivering money. Things go arwy when a new guard member named Ty Hackett (Columbus Short) finds out that he's loosing his home. When the team leader (Matt Dillon) & his co-workers (Lawrence Fishburne), (Jean Reno), (Amaury Nolasco) & (Skeet Ulrich) find that out, they end up helping Ty by stealing the armored truck full of cash so he will be set for life. When the armored team steal the truck, the armored company finds out what Ty & the other guards have done & try to bring them in. The guards are armed where nothing will stand in their way with their plan. Ty feels like they've have done a very bad thing while the others think its right. The leader of the team starts trying to figure out why Ty changed his mind about their plan/ Ty wants to escape but the others wont let him go since he got them in the situation. Now, Ty is in danger where his team members plan to kill him if he doesn't finish what they started.
Armored really took me by surprise. When going to see this, I didn't think I was going to get much out of it by witnessing the trailer because it looked like it was going to suck with how much it gave away. Well, to tell you the truth, the trailer didn't really give much away at all. Of course you already know your going to get chase scenes relating to action but it had something that the trailer didn't have & that was intensity. Armored is probably the hardest PG-13 movies to date of how violent it is. I was shocked before my eyes once I saw how brutal some scenes were. I think the F-Word was in there as well which made the move seem off from a PG-13 & on to an R but it didn't go that route. Armored just gives you a good PG-13 action/crime picture with chase scenes, good acting, & some suspense that you don't see coming except from what was shown in the trailer. Believe me when I tell ya this, that the trailer didn't give ya the whole movie. It has more than you know that keeps you interested & watching throughout. Even though we've seen it all before, i think its one of the better heist/thrillers thats entertaining for that matter. It starts out kinda slow but it's just building for whats to come. When the action begins to take place it shifts into high gear & keeps going till the excting conclusion. The film is kinda kinda of short but that didn't take away from me liking it. I really had a heck of a time enjoying this movie. It has about everything that you want like good action/drama that I found satisfying. I found the two car chases really awesome that gets you pumped up for more. Now to the acting. For me, If I would have to say who made this excting was Matt Dillion. I never thought that he would do something like this in his career. Man, did he amaze me by how far he's come to play something different for a change & he did extremely well. It's funny because you don't usually root for bad guys in films like this but in this one you cheer for his character because he's so badass with everything he does. Hope he continues to take on more roles like this because he might be the next villian we've been waiting for. My second best one out of the bunch has to be Skeet Ulrich. It's been a while since he's played in anything & it was so good to have him back from the performace he gave. Skeet always sticks to a every character he takes on & makes him believable. Skeet just impressed me from how long he's came from a rookie into a big movie star. Skeet, keep it up. Your on the way too the top & beyond. Lawerence Fishburne went a little over the top almost being out of control. I thought he still was good but not the actor we know. It just seemed to me that he didnt have much to work with or just wanted to rush with his part. Lawrence wasn't bad but its just not his best performance. Columbus Short in one of those next. Now, I'm not familiar with this person but I can tell ya that this might be a good start in the acting business for him. Columbus was real good in here. Of course their were some places where he kinda was dull on but he got better as the film went on where he decided that he wanted to show the viewers what he can do to make them like him more & he proves them right. Columbus was a real surprise of what he showed me. He has the right touch of acting just needs more practice & he'll get there. Can't wait to see what he does next. For the rest of the cast were decent like Jean Reno that only had 3 lines in the whole movie so I couldn't say much about him. Amary Nolasco was decent but fell flat in some scenes that were just horrid to watch. Fred ward made a good appearence but he was harldy in this too. Overall, if you can kill 85 minutes with a fair amount of action sequences & good acting, you'll have good popcorn fun. Armored is definent watch that must be seen in the theater. Don't wait for just DVD, trust me it's not a waste of your time. Just go to the movies & have yourselves a good time with this action thrill ride. Armored is a gripping high intensity pumping thriller that provides enough heart pounding action, hard-hitting suspense & explosive entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Michael Mann directs this high octane shoot'em up crime/gangster flick, Public Enemies. Public Enemies is based on the true story of the legendary bank robber, John Dillinger (Johnny Depp). John Dillinger & his gang featuring Baby Face Nelson & Alvin Karpis were so quick getting in & out of banks by robbing them. Nobody would stand in Dillinger's way or they would end up paying the price. John Dillinger was so popular for many reasons basically for being the best at what he does which is robbing banks. The women wanted to be with him & guys wanted to be him. Everytime he would get taken to prison he would always end up finding away how to break out. Dillinger has a lovely girlfriend named Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard). They are happy together & plan on spending the rest of their lives together. As Dillinger & his girlfirend settle down. Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) who gets appointed to take the lead of FBI to head out & capture Dillinger & his gang. When Purvis tries to catch Dillinger & his gang, somehow Dillinger would outsmart & outgun Purvis & his men. When Dillinger & his gang thinks they stopped the FBI they were wrong. As Dillinger keeps contiuning his adventure, Purvis rounds up a special unit of gunfighters & hopes to stop Dillinger & his gang for good.

Public Enemies is extremly good crime/drama. It was satisfying enough where it keeps you entertained as you enjoy watching Depp as Dillinger going about his life as a gangster. This movie has about everything you want in a crime movie which includes action, drama, romance & thrills. This movie had alot of shootouts where Depp outguns Bales men who are on his tail all the way. i have good & bad points about this film but didn't affect me from loving it.

What I liked about the shootings was hearing the loud gunshots from the sub machine guns. I've never experienced hearing guns firing that loud before. It seemed as if dynamite was going off in the theater as I was watching it. There was one great shootout that took place at a lodge in Little Bohemia as Purvis closes in on Dillinger & his gang. It lasted about 15 minutes long which was a complete shocker. Thats scene alone stand as the best shootout I've ever experience in a film. Don't think they will make another movie with a long shootout like that ever. The shootouts were the biggest highlights in the film I think.
The next thing I liked about this movie was the digital filming. I don't know why everyone is complaining so much about the way this film was made. Everyone knows that Michael Mann has his own way of filming his movies. Michael Mann likes to put you right in the show while watching. I thought the high digital was rather appropiate for this film because it was a biography of John Dillinger. I thought that made it more interesting to watch. However, I do have to agree with others on one thing & that is how close he had the camera up on the characters. Like I said before just the way Michael shoots. It's different but I still like it. In some way the digtal feel to the movie made it entertaining. I hope Mann continues to use digital in filming his movies. It's the best I've seen yet.
My negative points about this film was not having develop on any of the characters. I mean once the movie starts off, you see Dillinger going to prison but ends up escaping with his gang where neither one of them are introduced. I thought the opening was a a bit rushed. So i'm guessing that was the reason why we didn't get to know everyone. I just don't see how Mann could forget knowing the characters. Thats the main key to any movie. You never jump into a movie without character development first. If you don't know who anyone is, how can you like or even get into them. Well, I'm sorry to say for those you are going in for that you will come out empty handed.
My next problem I had with this film was the love story. I know that Dillinger got involved with a woman but this was just about Dillinger & his gang against Purvis & his Feds. I just thought it would've made the movie better if they just stook out the love story & concenrated on the cat & mouse between Depp & Bale.
Now, the acting from the cast. All I can say is Wow! from everyone. None of the casting was bad which was a surprise. The real stars that shines here is Depp, Bale, & the lovely Marion Cottilard. Those three just made this movie spectacular to watch. If it wasn't for them, this movie would be nothing.
Johnny Depp who portrayed the legendary bank robber John Dillinger was perfectly casted. Depp was a very vicious gang leader who knows what he's doing. Johnny does exactly what he's suppose to do in his role & that is stay in control. Johnny is good in anything he does that comes off with no surprise. You can just tell when you see him that he's ready for anything meaning getting the job done. His performance for this one is a goldmine thats considered his best performance ever.
Christian Bale whos my favorite actor played Melvin Purvis who was assigned to track down Dillinger & his gang. I think that Bale was side with Depp stealing the show. It was tied between the two of them where I don't know which one is better than the other. What I liked about Christian in this one was his southern accent. He made it look so believible. Didn't really know how he was going to do with it before watching him but after I was very impressed that I know he can do anything when he sets his mind on it.
The beautiful Marion Cottilard who played Billie Fretchette aka Dillinger's girlfriend. Not knowing who this woman is but after watching her I noticed that she comes off powerful. She proves that she has star power still after winning all those awards for best actress. I know why Mann picked her to star in this film because of her looks & her glorius oscar worthy acting. I thought she had good chemistry with Depp during the scenes I saw the two of them in. It was defenily believible enough. For seeing Marion for the first time on screen, I fell in love with her. She's just so talented & gorgeous. Hope to see more of her in films such as this one.
Overall, if your in to true life biopics, action/adventure, & the actors this one is the one for you. If you go in expecting that this movie is like the dark knight, its not. Public Enemies is full of firepower thats stunning & visualizing arts with a story that keeps you interested, extroadinary acting, & intense moments that will keep you on the edge watching till the final showdown.
John Dillinger: They ain't tough enough, smart enough or fast enough. I can hit any bank I want, any time. They got to be at every bank, all the time.

The Taking of Pelham 123 is a fast paced suspenseful action thriller remake thats set in New York when a mysterious stranger named Ryder (John Travolta) & his gang end up taking over a train called Pelham 123 & hold all the passengers hostage. Ryder doesn't want to hurt any of the passengers unless he gets his demands. Ryder starts to call out to the subway to see if he can find anyone to bargin with. Ryder finally reaches someone on the end of the mic whose name is Walter Garber (Denzel Washington), a subway dispatcher who Ryder tells Garber what his demands are & that is ransom of $10,000,000. Ryder tells Garber if he doesn't deliver the money within the time period when he wants it by, then he will start executing each of the passengers, Something goes terribly wrong when a police car is on its way delivering the money & ends up in an accident. When, that happens, Ryder threatens to kill some of the hostages if he doesn't get his money in time. Now, since things didn't go as well as planned, Ryder gets an idea about wether he can trust the cops delivering the money to him or not. Ryder makes a decision of how he can get the money to him safely & that is by wanting Garber to bring it to him. When Garber & Ryder come face to face, Garber must find away to out smart Ryder & his thugs by closing in on him before Ryder ends up doing something that he might regret. There's only one thing that Garber doesn't understand & that is once Ryder & his thugs have the money, how are they willing to escape the train?

I have to say this remake from the 74 version was great. I didn't see the original but I'm sure it was just as good as this one was. This thriller grabs you right from the start & takes you for an edgy ride till the end. It was filled with twists & turns that you don't see coming. It also had quite a bit of action to go along with it too that just holds your attention that much more. Seeing all these big budget action movies who would've thought that something like this could be just as exciting. I only have a few small complaints about this film & that is the way this picture was shot. From the very opening credits it shows you cut scenes in slow-mo that was kinda of distracting at times. It didn't bother me too much as it went on because I got use to it. I guess that Tony Scott has his own way to shoot different ways in this case I thought it worked with this one. My last complaint is that I think this movie could've provided a little bit more action. Every action/thriller as this one's called is suppose to have a great action sequence towards the end. It failed at doing so which gave a bad ending. The way this movie succeeded was the chemistry by our two main stars Washington & Travolta. The two of them play it out in a gritty game of cat & mouse which was very surprising & enjoyable to watch. When watching Denzel & John go head to head, they give you a genuine rush of thrills & entertainment. The first two acts Denzel & John is dazzling it out with each other by talking through the mic which never gets boring at any time. The third act is just all action when Denzel is chasing John in a long sequence downtown New York as he's escaping. I was just so amazed how everyone's acting turned out in this film especially our two legends Washington & Travolta.

Denzel was brillant as he always is as the good guy saving the day at the last minute. There's nothing really shockng about his performace because he always manges to make the audience smile while watching him. Many people will think that he's played this role so many times before but he hasn't. It's completely different than his previous ones. This time around, Denzel is playing a dispatcher for a subway station negotiating with John & ends up becoming a hero. Denzel still has incredible acting ability that everytime I see him on screen, he just keeps getting better & better.
Nothing surprising about John being the bad guy. He just keeps proving that he's the best at portraying as a villian ever. When first witnessing John upon on screen, I was amazed how well he looked as a baddie. I thought his style was what made his character believible. John was good at taking control of the hostages on the train. In some scenes he went over the top just like he does in almost every bad guy role he plays. The thing that I think could've been toned down a bit with his character was him saying mother****** throughout. When he was cursing the entire time, I just couldn't picture him saying that word so many times. Yeah, of course he can curse here & there but he just said that word way too much. Other than that, he had a knockout performance that I think stole the whole show.

John Turturro who was the negotiator of the police force gave a mesmerizing performance that was his best yet in his career. Next, is the wonderful James Gandolfini who portrayed the mayor. While watching James, he actually makes you believe that he is the mayor the whole time when seeing him on screen.
Overall, Pelham 123 is an exciting thrill ride from the begining & doesn't let up till the climax. Even though it had a disappointing ending, the movie still came clean through its own terms by Washington & Travolta's chemistry. If your looking for a straightfoward action flick, don't see this one. This is a heist drama/thriller with a fair amount of action. Trust me you won't be disappointed except for the ending. I wanted to give a perfect score for this film but the ending just took it away. Pelham is a hostage action/thriller with character develpoment, great acting, edge of your seat thrills & chills & entertainment value. So grab a seat & hold on tight when watching this exhilrating summer popcorn film.
Ryder: Life is simple now. They just have to do what I say.

Clash of the Titans is a remake to the original classic adventure/fantasy about a warrior named Perseus (Sam Worthington) who is chosen by the mighty Zeus (Liam Neeson) to go on a journey to fight the forces of darkness of the underworld controlled by the evil Hades (Ralph Fiennes).
Seeing Clash of the Titans for the first time i wasn't really expecting much since it was release before summer. After it was over, I walked out with a smile on my face & thinking to myself of what a good time watching an awesome action picture coming from spring. The film starts off like any other adventure film introducing the characters & setting up the story. It doesn't take long at all before putting u right into the action. As soon as Perseus starts his journey, the adventure begins as it smacks you with swordplay against demonic creatures featuring great special effects. What I really liked about the battle scenes was that they all had a good length where its hard to go away from the action. It's pretty much fast-paced full throttle ride from begining till end. This film is also very hard for a PG-13 in a way I'm surprised it didn't get an R for how violent it turned out to be. Clash of the Titans is probably the only PG-13 that I've ever seen close to being R-Rated. That just really shocked me as I witnessed scenes that contained intense violent bloody stabbings & some gore. The only thing I had a problem with this one, is that it didn't offer anything new from teh original. It had pretty much the battles against the monsters only they were a tad bigger. I guess with these kind of films your not suppose to worry about plot. You just turn off your brain & have your popcorn ready for entertainment only. The cast did an exceptional job. Coming from Worthington's 4th film, he's improving as he goes on to be one of the greatest action stars. Liam Neeson is always amazing giving his fans exactly what they come when they see him. Ralph Fiennes was gothic villian to hate which made him likable. Mads Mikkelson who played bond viillian in Casino Royale came as a surprise giving a performance you yet haven't seen him in which you think he could pass for more films like this one. Stunning beautiful actress, Gemma Arterton has a big future of how talented she is. Overall, Clash of the Titans is a must see for action/adventure fans surrounded by fantastic visuals with likable characters. Clash of the Titans is one of the best exciting adventure films of 2010.

Comedy Director, Kevin Smith that brought us (Jay & Silent Bob) & (Clerks] brings an action/comedy to life to the big screen about two LAPD Cops, superstar action star legend (Bruce Willis) plays as Jimmy & stand up rising comedian (Tracy Morgan) as Paul who are working together on a case in search of a missing baseball card. In the mean time, Jimmy is having trouble with his job drawing out money to pay for his soon to be lost daughter (Michelle Tractenberg"s) wedding. As Jimmy & Paul are solving the mystery behind the card, they find out that the card is worth alot of money which might be Jimmy's only solution to help his daughter. When Jimmy thinks he's set for life, him & Paul run into a band of gangsters that find out about the card that want to take it off Jimmy's hands. Jimmy will not allow that to happen as him & Paul must protect the card by teaming up by taking down the bad guys. Jimmy & Paul must prove by doing so that they still know what it takes to be a cop.
Seeing Cop Out for the first time didn't know what to except from it. The real reason I saw it is for Bruce Willis since he's my favorite actor of all time. After watching Cop Out, I hace to say I was not disappointed one bit. I enjoyed the heck out of Cop Out. It's definitly not a film to take seriously, only to have fun with & thats exactly what I got from this. The film is extremely entertaining with plenty of funny moments where you will never find yourself bored throughout. I thought Willis & Morgan had good chemistry as the pair of cops. Willis does what he does best & that is playing the good guy bad guy cop kicking butt & saving the day. Tracy on the other hand, I didn't have thoughts of him at first but seeing him in this, he was pretty dang funny even though we sometimes went over the top but I guess he just can't help that because thats him. The one actor who stood out more & stole the show for me was comedian Sean William Scott with his outbust of jokes. I just wish Sean had more screen time than what was given to him because he was pretty much the best thing about this film. Even though Cop Out is funny, it also offers some breathtaking action sequences involving shootouts & car chases that comes to extent. I think this film is only for adults because it contains strong crude sexual humor & severe language that may not be eligible for childern or teens under 17. Overall, the acting is good, action was cool, plot needed work but this film isn't about story. It's about entertaining you giving you what you want when you go to the movies. Cop Out is a satisfying popcorn brainless comedy crowd pleaser that will have you laughing & excited all the way through.

Gamer takes place in a world where humans control others by gaming technolgy created by an intelligent mastermind named Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall). Theirs two kinds of games which are called Society, a game where people just like to have fun making an avatar & playing with & then theirs Slayers, a game where death row inmates fight to the death. In Slayers, gamers get to choose which player they want to compeat with. Simon (Logan Lerman), a teen who loves to play games chooses a physical inmate who goes by the name of Kable (Gerard Butler). Each gamer has to be very careful on playing Slayers so they wont get their player killed. The team that survives long enough & ends up winning will be set free. Each week as Simon is playing with Kable, he guides him through death by leading him that much closer to victory. As Kable is fighting to live, he's putting his life on the line trying to get to his family. Now, Simon must help Kable escape the game so he can free everything he cares for the most & take over Castle's program.

Nedveline/Taylor does it again as the give you another over the top insane mind blowing action movie that you have to experience on the big screen. This time they give you an even bigger budget action film full of adrenaline that keeps your heart racing every step of the way. Gamer takes you on a fun 90 minute entertaining ride of your life as you watch the undefeated bad ass Kable running & fighting for his life in spectacular battles kicking major butt thats sure to leave you breathless. Gamer starts off with the song "Sweet Dreams" by Marylin Manson in the opening credits then puts you right in the action in a long battle sequence that will blow you right out of your seat. Gamer had my heart pumping from the very beginning where I couldn't take my eyes off watching. Warning: This film is very pervasive with its rating as it makes its way to the brutal stage of violence & crude sexuality. It's definitely not for kids by all means. In all the great action scenes you get to see graphic violence of blood splatter & blown body parts. When the action is not taking place it will turn to the society part of the film that has some really disgusting things that appear by some of the avatar characters. It 's full of sexual situations & lots of nudity that I think was too much coming from the directors. Even though, I know how these directors like to shoot by mixing elements into their film, I just thought it was too gross where it almost made me vomit. When the action starts back up again which only take 10 minutes to get a breather, it's another long & intense great action sequence that gets even more violent as it keeps going on. In some scenes when witnessing the violent moments before they become dead corpses, you get to see their limbs get shot right at your face just like you would see in 3D. I kept thinking as all that was happening right in my face that this movie should have been in 3D which would have made it even more spectacular. Throughout you just keep begging for more thrilling action & thats exactly what you get. The score with the battle scenes fit with them I think. They were loud with a dark vibe to it. I though Gamer had a somewhat interesting script that was kinda dark as it explained how the mind controlling of humans was. I thought it was neat & awesome concept that has never been told before on screen. The way the directors took this film & turned it into a real life gaming environment. One things I witnessed & loved from this film was when it showed Simon controlling Kable in third person mode just like you would see in a video game. I thought that was sweet putting that in there because it fitted right in with the concept of the game.
Gamer is completely different from all these other films like Death Race, The Condemned & the Running Man. Even though Gamer has a different concept, it mixes all those movies into one. It seems to me before they made Gamer, they couldn't come up with a intelligent plot to make a great action film. Well folks, I think the directors actually did it by coming up with a plot like this. I really liked how real everything looked in this film. the gunfights, blood, & explosions. The story isn't the main issue here even though I thought it was interesting & good. Everyone knows the real deal that gets you hyped up from a film like this is the crazy things that the directors have in store for you. If everyone is familiar with the Crank directors will have no problem with the camera work. Of course its shaky & all that but it makes you think that your in the movie. So everyone shouldn't have a problem watching this thinking the same way. The background was perfect for the setting. It made me think if this is what its going to look & be like in the future. The one thing that got me shocked from the start was how believable the acting was. I can tell ya, that I wasn't too sure about the casting for this one. I thought everyone was going to do terrible. Man, did they prove me wrong. Everyone did an fantastic job with their character.
The best supporting actor who stole the film I think was Gerard Butler. Gerard's acting has reached a high new level proving that he is one of the most talented actors out there. Gerard also has come to be one of the awesomeness action stars like Jason Statham. I loved watching him kick butt especially in this one. To me, it looked like he did all his stunts by his self. From all his other action films, this has to be his best one I've seen since 300. Hope he stars in a whole lot more action films & leave the comedy ones behind. Action is what Gerard should stay with. Move over Schwarzenegger & Stallone, Gerard has come to take your place with his style of ass whooping.
Overall, Gamer is a big budget popcorn action/scifi/thriller filled with exciting moments that make you go woah. It's a definent must see for action junkies. If you just turn off your brain & enjoy it for what it is you'll have a great time at the movies. if you want something thats straightforward story or character develpoment this isn't for you. I've seen this three times in a row so that has to tell yall something. I'm defenitly grabbing me a copy when it hits the shelves on dvd. Gamer is a fun enjoyable adrenaine rushed extravaganza with mindblowing action from start to finish.

(Stephen Sommers), the Director who brought you the Mummy brings you another action/adventure about a special unit of soldiers you battle wits against a evil cooperation run by the villianous Destro in G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA.
I must say when I heard about & saw the trailer for G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA, I wasn't too thrilled. I thought it was going to be just another corny addaption that a director put together that was painfully bad to experience. With G.I. JOE it succeeds where its awesomely done as Sommers brings the cartoon to life. I was very surprised how much fun I had watching G.I. JOE. It's basically nonstop action from start to finish thats hardcore intenssity with huge explosions & bullets fying all over the place for it's 120 run time. Even though the movie wasn't exactly like the cartoon, I still thought it was cool how Sommers took it & made it into something everyone could enjoy. Sommer's managed to make the actors like action figures in a futuristic way. This film just blew me away with it's incredible action sequences & fun moments. When the action hits, they are extremely loud for the hearing impaired which saying not a bad thing since I like to listen to it. The only problem I had with this was the fact the effects went a little over the top where it made the movie look too cartoonish. The story was kinda cool but thats not really the main issue here. All G.I. JOE was made for was to enjoy it for what it is, a big summer popcorn action film. The acting in this film was decent. I mean your not going to have an oscar worthy of actors in a film like this. The one I thought stood out the most was Channing Tatum as Duke. I thought Channing carried the movie well. He showed alot of emotion & looked like he had fun with his character. Their were also a few babes in here that were smokin hot like the Baroness played by the sexy (Sienna Miller) & lovely (Rachel Nicols) as Scarlet in those tight leather suits. I know the guys will have a time watching them. The legendary Dennis Quaid kinda failed for me as he went over the top with his character making it seem like he was rehearsing. If I had to choose my favorite one of the lot, I would have to go with Ray Park who was Snake Eyes. Man, that dude is just so fun to watch as he does his martial art moves & weaponary skills. Everything about him is awesome & amazing in way thats hard to believe that he's doing all his stunts. Ray was just all over the place in this one which was good. Snake Eyes really kicked butt. Hope to see him kick more on the second one. The others were just alright but not really special as the ones I just mentioned. I think the other actors felt the same way, just having fun with something like this. I mean who couldn't when you have the oppurtunity to become an action figure? BTW this interprets a sequel from the ending, I can't wait to see how the second one is going to turn out. I'm guessing more action than this one but I was surprised how much action this one had for the first one, it was surprisingly amazing.
Overall, G.I. JOE is a must see for action junkies. It's probably the greatest action movie I've seen in my life. So if your familiar with the cartoon its a definent watch. If you've never heard of the cartoon which is highly unlikely, you'll still have tons of fun with it. If you just turn your brain off for 2 hours which really didn't seem all that long since it was so fast paced with entertainment, you'll love this one. So far G.I. JOE is best cartoon adaptation ever made. G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA is a fast paced, entertaining exciting, adrenaline rushed actiioner that expodes off screen full of nonstop action packed stunts that are impossible to take your eyes off.

In 2007, Michael Bay brought this live scifi/action cartoon addaption that made millions in the world wide box-office about a young man named Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) who is getting his first car which happens to be old camero. Once, Sam bought the camero, werid things started to happen where Sam is left with suspicion. All this keeps going on til one night Sam begins to realize that his ride is not what it seems. Sam finds out that his car is none other than a alien robot. Sam starts learning bout the alien robot as it shows him where it comes from. As Sam is with the alien robot, other aliens like itself begin to arrive to join. Optimus Prime, leader from the alien clan also known as the Autobots tells Sam that the reason why their there & that is to get an item from Sam to lead them to a crystal box called the allspark. While Sam is leading the Autobots on a journey for the allspark, another batch of alien robots come to earth to get the allspark too only these are not friendly that call theirselves Decepticons led by menacing alien named Megatron. Now, Sam & humanity are in the fight for their lives as they are stuck in a war waging between Autobots & Decepticons.
Transformers is a pretty big scifi action film. I wasn't expecting to get much from it but it exceeded my expectations. I didn't get nothing more or less from this film. I got just the right amount that i wanted which made Transformers a good scifi/action film come to life. Michael Bay must've put his heart & soul into this film as he gave us the best CGI effects that I have ever seen a film. The digital effects were just mindblowing. If i had to give this fim an award, I would give it for the effects. They don't get any better than this. The action scenes are beyond amazing. They have a centatn extent that enjoyable to watch whiles its on screen. Their are some pretty cool alien robots here that i actually have taken a liking to. If I had to choose my favorite out of the bunch I would choose Ironhide who is kickass with cannon's on each side of this arms. You'll see exactly what I mean when you watch the battle scene towards the end. Now for the film's story, ehh it was alright not going to say it was great but it wasn't bad either. Atleast they gave us something intresting to get drawn into for the run-time of the film. Overall, I really enjoyed Transformers. I think that many will take a liking to & expect more to come. The acting was decent. Don't expect oscar worthy acting but it was good to make the characters likeable enough. the film has some pretty big names like the young and talented Shia LaBeouf who is one of my favorite actors. Shia keeps on improving every film he stars in. If he keeps it up, he will go far which i hope he does. Pop Artist Tyrese Gibson who also gives me a good laugh. Tyrese is also another good one here. I don't know about Megan Fox. I mean she needs a little work but I think she can do better if she believes in herself. As much as Megan can't act for a lick in this film, she's still easy to look with how sexy she is. As for the rest of the cast, I did't really care for them as much but they all have a promising future in the acting business. Transformers is just set on incredible entertainment that has to be seen. So if you like scifi, action, adventure, drama or comedy, this is the one to see. Im sure yall will enjoy it as much as i did. Transformers is a huge scifi action smash hit that takes off like a rollercoaster from hell that delivers heartpumping action to start off what may be one of the biggest franchises ever.

Revenge of the Fallen is an action-packed thrill ride sequel from the first that steps the action up really high this time around. In this one, Sam (Shia Labeouf) starts off for his first year of college. Sam thinks that he's going to have a better live beliving that the war against autobots & decepticons are over. One day, Sam finds out that the war is far from over when he finds a missing piece of the all spark that he thought killed Megatron. When Sam notices that, the all spark starts to turn almost everything in his house into a decepticon that tries to kill him. His guardian known as Bumblebee shows up & saves him & his family by destroying them. After that Sam's girlfriend Mikaela (Megan Fox) who surprises him by showing up before he heads to college. After Sam & Mikaela spend time with each other, they say goodbye & hope to communicate while their away from one another. When Sam arrives at college, he settles down & meets his roomate named Leo (Ramon Rodriquez) who supposely thinks that he's witnessed aliens among their planet but Sam tries to keep it a secret by telling him that their is none. Meanwhile, Sam gets a distressed call from one of his good friend autobots Optimis Prime who warns his that something terrible is about to happen & he wants Sam to be safe. Sam thinks that what Optimis is telling him isn't true till he reacts to something that hits his mind. When that affects Sam, Megatron gets ressurected by his evil decepticons that wants him to unleash one of the most original decepticon leaders of his find called the Fallen, a unstoppable decepticon where only Optimis Prime can take him out. From there, Megatron hunts down Sam by wanting to get into his mind to see what he knows. Now, Optimus & the other autobots must stop Megatron & his decepticons in a battle for the world by protecting Sam & make sure that the Fallen doesn't get free or life as we know it will not cease to exist anymore.
Revenge of the Fallen was a very good action-packed scifi adventure. This sequel almost beat out the first. It had the more action involving battle scenes & explosions & lots of robots. There's only one reason why it didn't feel it was great as the first & that was the over the top humor it had in it. I just don't understand why Director Michael Bay would put all that in a summer action movie when thats all its really suppose to have is action. I just thought that was just so utterly disappointing to me. I mean what was Michael Bay thinking about transformers? He made them act so stupid thoughout where they do sexual things & curse just like the humans do. Michael also thought it would be good to give robot balls. I thought that was going over the line right there. Everything else was good. Only if they left out all that humor, this one would be better than the first but it didn't come out like that. The reason why I'm not watering down this movie no more than 4 stars is b/c I really enjoyed this film. It's one thats just watch & have fun experiencing. I think what saved this movie for me was the battle sequences. They were off the chain especially the last battle that was the greatest I've ever seen in any action movie. That scene will defeniely go down as the best memorable action scenes ever filmed. There's nothing to say about the acting b/c this film wasn't made for that. It was only made to watch the alien robots battle it out & thats exactly what it gave me. Overall, Revenge of the Fallen is nowhere near perfect or great but it's really good time if you make it like that. Revenge of the Fallen is a high explosive scifi thrill ride thats filled with nonstop action that's driven with humor & astonishing entertainment.

Director Joe Johnson brings the Wolfman back to life in this remake about a man named Lawrence Tabolt (Benicio Del Toro) who comes back to his hometown when he hears about his brother being mudered. Lawrence stays with his father (Anthony Hopkins) while investigating what caused his brothers death. As the investigation goes on, Lawrence unravels the mystery that a werewolve killed his brother. Later one night, Lawrence comes face to face with the werewolve as it slaugeters villagers in camp ground. Lawrence goes off & tries to hunt down the werewolve. As Lawrence is hunting the werewolve, the werewolve suddenly sneaks up & takes a bite out fo him. After Lawrence gets bitten by the werewolve, he starts to loose a whole lot of blood & begins to look real pale. As Lawrence is sick, a young beauty (Emily Blunt) takes care of him to help fight the pain. The next day, a specialist investigator (Hugo Weaving) comes to talk to Lawrence about the murders & how he was conflicted by the werewolve. Lawrence starts to feel werid the next 28 days. As Lawrence is trying to recover from the wound, he starts acting very strangely as he gets senses just like an animal would. On the 28th day, Lawrence begins to transform into a ferocious beast that will kill without warning.
When going to see the Wolfman, I went in with high expectations beacuse I thought it would be a great remake that would bring back classic horror to high standards. In the end, my expectations didn't turn out the way I wanted it too but still liked it for what it was. The Wolfman was definitly the best remake I've seen in quite sometime. The story was driven with good plot to keep you interested just like the original. From the start you get drawn to the plot as its intriguing. The Wolfman opens up as Lawrence's brother is being hunted by a wolfman. I was sorta disappointed by the fact that it didn't show how the victim was slaughtered by the Wolfman. The only thing we hear a bout the victim is that he was ripped to pieces & have eaten. So that really bugged me the way the director cut that scene. As for the rest of the film, we get to see all the shots of graphic violence that the Wolfman causes. When the violence comes, its top notch as in pretty much over the top bloody violence/gore. You get heads arms, legs ripped off & thrown around like crazy. Some of the shots of gore are fast but didn't bother me because they wern't cut where you could see the violence taking place. From there, the pace seems to never seems to drift off. It sometimes gets slow in parts but then picks up as it goes on so it won't get boring. The film does have alot of socializing here but its not too long before the Wolfman comes on screen & when he does he takes action with death's he causes wth a big body count. I must say I really enjoyed the adventure the Joe Johnson provided for thsi film. I don't know how, but he made this film fun as heck. The Wolfman man seens make you jump quite a bit with his loud roar unexpected attacks. I loved the CGI as the Wolfman moves. Its the best CGI I've seen in really any film. The Wolfman's transformation was sick in which it couldn't been any better. Now, thats what I call great effects. I was also good that The Wolfman wasn't CGI. I've hated werewolves in recent films that's been using effect. I think they just go way too much with the CGI making the werewolve seem very fake. I'm glad Joe Johnson made the Wolfman seem realistic. Thats exactly what I wanted & the Joe gave it to me. I think what held this film together was the beautiful art of the atmosphere in the back ground. I think that set the right mood for this picture where the audience can be stuck watching throughout the film. I think the mood created The Wolfman's style. It's just like The Wolfman's own little park where he gets to have fun causing mayhem. Where the dissapointment comes in is with the chracters. Even thought the acting is believable enough from our main stars featuring Benicio Del Toro, legendary Sir Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, & Emily Blunt, their is no development from them at all. Their's no real introduction where we don't know anything about anybody. Benico just shows up in his own town in which his character's rushed with no moral sense of value as the same goes with everyone else. I just thought that was messed up from a film like The Wolfman. I know for a fact that the original had character development that really made the film. With this remake chracters are not the case. The Wolfman is just rushed plot with slow moments then action, slow, then action starts back up again. I thought it was werid the way the director did this film but still liked the way he accomplished things. From a director like Joe Johnson, story doesn't really apply. Joe Johnson is all about fun & adventure for you to enjoy & thats what I like about him wanting the audience to have a good time watching a wild animal on the loose wrecking havoc. Overall, The Wolfman is worth the watch if not twice. It's an experience that everyone needs to witness for true horror. So if your up for alot of gory moments/adventure/action-packed sequences., then Wolfman is your thing. Thats really all The Wolfman is fun time at the movies. The Wolfman is fun, slick, scary good classic horror/thriller filled with unexpected twists & spectacular action from start to finish.

Daybreakers is a new fresh take on the vampire genre. It's 2019 & almost everyone is a vampire. The vampires have been stuggling to survive for their shortage dose of blood. A company that farms humans for blood run by a wealthy & powerful vampire leader named Charles Bromley (Sam Neill) sends his military vampire unit into the night to capture humans & drain their blood so that the vampire population will remain left alive. If the vampire's don't get enough blood in time, they will transform into bloodsucking monsters called Subsiders. Meanwhile, a young vampire hemotoligist named Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke) has been trying to find a cure to end being a vampire. Later on, Edward comes across a two vampire hunters named Elvis (Willem Dafoe) who once was a vampire but found a way to change hisself back into human & his trusted sidekick named Audrey (Claudia Karvan). Together, Edward, Elvis, & Audrey race against time to fetch out the cure to save the human race in a battle between immortality & humanity.
Daybreakers brings back the horror in vampires that we've missed. Move over Twilight, theirs a new & better breed of vampire film come to knock you off the chart. I've been so tired of seeing vampire's sparkle when sunlight hits them, no offense Twilight fans. Vampires are mean't to disintigrate by ash which makes it more realistic where they fear the light. Thats just the way vampires are made & that should never be changed. Now on to the film, I thought Daybreakers was really good. I didn't really expect much from this coming out in a January release because most movies that come in that month are not that good but for Daybreakers it succeeded my expectations. Even though I wanted to see it, Daybreakers really suprised me by how good it turned out being low budget & all. The premise was well written with alot of potential to make this a classic vampire film. Unfortunately, Daybreakers fails on those terms where the second half of the script was changed. Instead of going all the way with scientific meaning they finished it off with action/horror elements which I thought kinda messed the movie up for me because i was dying to see how things turned out for the vampires. If they just stuck with one genre instead of mixing everything else into one, it would've turned out great. Daybreakers is still a fun & entertaining energetic ride that has enough to enjoy. The films run-time was just right I think. It was kinda slow in parts but didn't bother me because I found those parts quite interesting. The first 30 seconds into the movie draws you in where you will witness one of fastest scares ever seen on screen. I admit, I jumped up when that happened & still think I would when I see it again & again. There's no way you could see it coming as the sound screams putting you in full of fear. Throughout, the sounds raise high note that keeps your heart pumping. I loved the way this film looked. It had a dark atmospheric blue/white mood to it that made it more frightening & exciting to watch. I think the picture is what made me enjoy it more. Horror fans will be very pleased that their is enough blood/gore here involving decapitations, burnt flesh, exploding bodies, & just enough bloody violence to keep you satisfied. There's alot of people saying that they thought that Daybreakers needed more blood but I don't think so. I think it had enough where it almost went on a overkill with the gore at the end. Thats where most of the gore takes place which almost made me sick but still enjoyed it. Oh & be warned that their is one cool death scene that isn't easy to watch but its one of the most goriest kill scenes I've ever seen in a horror film. When the cure came in, I didn't really have a problem with it because It was something new & also thought it could be possible to work. I didn't really have any doubts about how the acting was going to be in this movie. I will say i was impressed of how much of these actors have come along in their careers. Ethan Hawke pretty much stole show for me. I think he's the only actor that could play a vampire for his part. Ethan looked like he had fun with his character while taking it a bit serious at times. This is a mjor comeback for Ethan & its good to have him back. Hope to see him play in more like this one. Second actor that I thought was good was the lengendary Sam Neill. Man, Sam is terrific & ceases to impress me in anything he takes on. I wish he was on screen more in his film because his presence was very powerful like it always is. Sam don't go away, you stay in movie business & you'll be on top of the list, welcome back. Final actor that I liked was Willem Dafoe. When Willem approcahed the screen I didn't expect much from him since I didn't know how he was in these kinda roles. Let me tell ya, Willem entertained the crap out of me with his funny lines & the way he curses. He used the F-word I don't know how many times. As much as he cursed, Willem still shines with his character especially when he takes action with his crossbow making him look badass vampire slayer. For the rest of the cast I can't say much because I really don't know them very well but I thought they were decent. Michael Dorman who played Frankie, Ethan's brother, I can honestly say I can see a future for him in acting. I thought he was pretty darn good. I think the least out of the bunch was Isabel Lucas. She's smokin hot & beautiful teenager actress & I know she's played in some films but here she just wasn't good for me. Even though she didn't have much screen time her presence was just terrible with nothing fresh about her. I thought her acting was way off like when she was trying to witness to her crew that she was surrounded & was being hunted, it didn't feel like she was frightened, It seemed like she was getting ready for that line waiting to happen. I think she can do better in more films because she's just now starting but if she continues to mess up like she did in this one, she needs to find another profession. Overall, Daybreakers is worth the time & money to go & experience. It's especially for vampire lovers & gorehounds. If you like action, sadly you'll be disappointed. Daybreakers is not nonstop action which I know everyone expects it to be. However their is one big action sequence involving a car chase shootout that was well shot. Oh & another thing, if your going to have a climax where it builds up to be a big action set piece, please finish the rest of it. I was getting pumped & ready to see an explosive showdown but instead it stops with barely anything exciting happening. I thought the ending was really lame at that. Other than the terrible ending, you still are in a treat throughout the film with plenty to go around. Daybreakers also offers a sequel coming from the ending. I really don't see it happening in which this looks like its just going to keep going on with no changes. Daybreakers is a popcorn film thats sure to entertain no matter how you think it might turn out. I hope to own it to my horror collection when it hits shelves. So go out & have yourselves a bloody good time. Daybreakers is an exciting smart vampire scifi/horror film filled with good character development, gushes of bloody violent sequences mixed in with some good well executed action that was close to being perfect but failed by not having more going for it. I still give Daybreakers 4 stars for the comeback of vampires & being a fun entertaining horror movie, nothing more & nothing less.

Repo Men is a scifi/action/thriller about two buddies named Remy (Jude Law) & Jake (Forrest Whitaker) who work for a company owned by wealthy businessman, Frank (Liev Schreiber) that sells mechanical organs for better life style but theirs a ketch. The people who want that for the bodies has to pay for them at a certain time. If not, one of the repo men will come & reclaim their property. As all this goes on, Remy has trouble dealing with his family based on his job. One night, Remy does one last job, only this time something goes terribly wrong as he witnesses being knocked out. When Remy wakes up, he notices that he has been operated on by having a new heart module placed in his chest to make him offically one of the Repo's. After Remy recovers, he gets back to work only this time he's not hisself. Remy decides that he no longer wants to be apart of his job. From there, Remy & another Repo named Beth (Alice Braga) race against time around the world to fight to clear theirselves before the company hunts them down & kills them.
Repo Men is one of those films that you really have to pay attention to understand whats going on. Otherwise you can't get into it. The film starts off beautifully as it shows cool shots of what the future could be like. Jude & Forrest are really likeable here as they keep you entertained with their job especially when they go over the edge taking down Repo's. The film kept at a good pace where it keeps things interesting. As you watch the film, makes you wonder what it would be like if you had to go through being a Repo in this scary world. However, I must say that I really enjoyed this one. Even though it was slow at times, somehow it still manages to hold your attention throughout. To me, Repo Men felt like Blade Runner mostly by the way the film looked. The film has plenty of exciting action sequences that are a thrill to watch. I had two favorites. One, was where Jude & 'Forrest go at it showing impressive skills using hand to hand combat. The second was a bloody brawl towards the end where Jude is taking down almost every union memeber that stands in his way with sharp tools. Probably one of the coolest fight sequences I've seen in very long time. When the fight scenes arn't going on, you still get a big dose of violence as Jude & Forrest are giving Repo surgery by taking out their body parts which will be hard for some to watch if their not in to watching that stuff. Jude shows that he can pull off any role especially when it comes to action. I'd say Jude & Forrest pretty much made the movie. Also there is a big twist at the end that made the film seem different which I thought was a new take on the science fiction genre. To me, Repo Men is for anyone because the film is mixed with all genres. So I say give this one a chance for what it is. Overall, Repo Men is bloody good scifi fun that gets you thinking & interested with its concept from begining till end.

Legion is an supernatural action/horror/thriller about God given up on humanity where he's tired of everybody sinning. God decides to wipe out the world for the second time. Michael (Paul Bettany), an arcangel of God doesn't like the idea so he falls from the heavens to protect the human race. When Michael arrives down on earth, he cuts off his wings & starts rounding up his weapons to begin his search for a woman who goes by the name of Charlie who is pregnant with the messiah, the savior of mankind. Michael finds a truck stop diner where Charlie is & a few other survivors that features (Denis Quaid) & (Tyrese Gibson) but some are not left alive. Michael notices that someone else has gotten to Charlie first. Thats when God sends his legion of angels to hunt down Michael & the humans. Michael is the worlds only hope for survival.

Legion was better than expected. From the trailers making it seem mediocre low budget, it was far from it. I found Legion to be hardcore intense supernatural action-packed ride. Legion seemed like a mix between Terminator meets the.Prophecy. You will probably agree with me on that as you witness Paul Bettany's character Michael fall from the heavens on a mission to protect a woman who is given birth to her unborn child who is supposely to be a leader for the future of the human race to go on. So Legion turns out to be Terminator with a biblical plague. Legion has dark tone that was just right for the film. The score was scary at times. There were just a couple of things that I wasn't satisfired with. First, is the plot area. Having viewed from the trailer, I noticed that the story was unexplained. When watching the film, I thought everything would come together. Unfortunately, it fails to do so. Everything in here was just so confusing & just plain dumb. Alot of unanswered questions that I was waiting for to be answered but they never were. Even though, the story was stupid, I still liked it. Legion is what we go to the movies for & that is to be entertained with excitement. The last problem I had with Legion was the rating. It's rated R for strong bloody violence & language. Okay, I get the language part because it had enough F-bombs for an R but bloody violence come on. I mean their were scenes with rarely any blood. The film was big on action than violence if you ask me that could've easily got away with a PG-13 if it hadn't been for the language. All, you can really go for in this is action sequences, effects, & acting which were all great.

The action in Legion notches high. Even though the action wasn't nonstop, it still fired with intensity involving gunfights, explosions, & a kick ass fight scene that you don't wont to miss. I had to favorite action scenes. One was in like 30 minutes in the movie where Michael & survivors were up on the roof of the diner shooting heavily protecting theirselves from the possessed. That sequence was a good 5-10 minutes long which was explosive & exciting.

Next, was the fight between Michael & Gabriel. That had to be the highlight of the film if you ask me. You witnessing them beating the heck out of each other using weaponry & massive fighting skills. That scene alone was epic for me unlike anything I have ever seen. I mean how often do we get to see angels battling it out? highly unlikely.

The CGI effects were the best I've seen in action film yet. Using effect on the angel wings were done nicely that made it seem very close to realistic. There were also some cool effects as the humans were being possesed that looked matirx style as an agent shifting to a human. I thought that was pretty narly. The cretaure effects were creepy enough to get the audience jumping out of their seats. The Ice cream dude that ws played by Doug Jones was really freaky as he flexed his body shifting hisself into some sort of spider looking thing. Psychotic Grandma was freaky climbing up on the celing. She had to give me cringes more than than the Ice Cream man. Maybe it was because I saw her side has a monster & got to see more of her. Anyway the effects made the film I thought that gave it a kick for the audience to cheer while being excited & scared out of their wits.
I do have to admit I was really suprised by the twist at the end that was very unpredicatable that I didn't see coming. The twist changes the whole aspect of the story, I felt that it made the film seem better. Even though the story was dumb & didn't make any sense, somehow I was really drawn into it by being entertained all the way through. There were some parts in towards the middle that dragged which you get to hear about the characters talking about their problems that I found interesting. I was really inpressed how much fun I had watching Legion. I never thought I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. From the start it gets right to the point & you just have a blast with it. Legion is one of those films that you don't care for story just go for what it has to offer. Now, for the biggest surpirse in Legion was the wonderful acting. Everyone was believable with their parts that had me drawn into them with their funny lines that were given & seriousness.

The one actor who stole the show for me was Mr. Paul bettany. As soon as he was on screen, you really get into his character with how serious he takes this film to make his own. I think this is Paul's first starring role as an action hero & he did great. Paul accomplishes everything an action hero would do & that is giving you a good show watching him kick ass & he kicks a ton in this. Hope that Paul takes on more roles like this in the future because I think they suit him very well. Paul keep it up & you will be at the top of action stars.

Dennis Quaid is the second best. From witnessing Dennis in G.i. Joe which was painfully bad acting on his part, I thought he was going to fail here as well. Unfortunately he took me by surprise by entertaining me with his awesome character. Dennis gets kinda drunk & out of of control which is funny & great because he had me rooting for him of how believable he was. Dennis takes action in some scenes using a pump shotgun to protect everyone with. Dennis has been out of action for while so it was nice to see him back in it. This is the Dennis Quaid I have missed & I'm glad he's back to his ole self & hope he stays that way so he can live on & one of the best actors out there.

Rising singer actor star Tyrese Gibson was really good as always. For me, this is his best performance I've seen by him. From the first time he makes apparence, he had me into his character by giving a powerful performance. I just love to see Tyrese in these action films where he takes charge. I'm so glad he's sticking with the genre because he was made for it & does very well everytime he participates in them. Tyrese also had a couple of scenes where he lets his badass character out with a vengence. Tyrese is defenitly made for the action type & acting given. By witnessing Tyrese in this, he has proved to me that he has what it takes to go all the way by reaching standards of great acting, Thats why he's on my top because he always brings everything to the table that really impresses me everytime I see him on screen.

The sexy & beautiful Adrianne Palicki was good also. I'm not really familiar with Adrianne but I found her to be quite a lead actress in here. She was believable as a pregnant woman but I had a small problem with her smoking. It seemed to me that she didn't care for her unborn child. I would love to see her star in more films & hope to see her step up her acting skills even higher next time.

Young Lucas Black had to be the one that really took me by surprise that gave a standout performance. From witnessing his acting Tokyo Drift, I thought he was alright because it seemed he didn't have much to work with. In Legion, he shines showing everyone that he is made for acting. Lucas was believable as son to Dennis Quaid & using emotional moments towards his character. I found that to be so belivable which I thought was going to be hard to come by for him but he ceased to impress me by it. I enjoyed Lucas in this giving everytime he had. I feel Lucas has a big future awiating of him in the future.

Charles S. Dutton had a small part but he was good. Glad to see Charles back in films. He's been out of them for so long. I think the last film he was in was 97's Mimic. Man, thats been way too long. Witnessing him on the trailer, I didn't think he was going to do good where he's been away from the acting business. Well, Charles doesn't disappoint. He really shocked me with his performace as a owner of the diner. Charles also is quite funny that had me laughing & excited a few times. I loved the part where Charles through a pan towards the Granny's head & broke her neck. I thought that was awesome. Never thought I would see something like that from him. Gave me qutie a shock of how cool Charles character came to be. Glad to have you back Charles. Don't go anywhere because you are exactly where you need to be.

The weakest of the lot was Kevin Durand. I say this because he doesn't come in till the last 30 mins of the movie. I've seen Kevin Durand in some films & found him quite good but in here he's just so cheesy using a british accent trying to match up with Pauls'. Sorry to say Kevin your not even close to Pauls' level. I did like seeing Kevin kick butt using his deadly angel wings & mace. I thought that was pretty cool but when he talks, its like ahhh want you to shut up. Kevin was better off just not saying a word. If you would've not talked I might've liked him better but he didn't so he sucked. One piece of advice Kevin, don't try to take on other languages in films, it doesn't work for ya. If you just stick to english you be better off.
Overall, Legion is worth checking out. To me, I think everyone should see it mostly for the fun share of joy it brings. I think you'll have a good time watching it just as I did. I know straight up that you'll be engaged by the intense action sequences that are very thrilling to watch. If your a fan of religion, fantasy, action/horor you should be satisfred for the most part. If you can just turn your brain off for a 100 minutes you should be good. Legion is mindless action packed fun from begining to end with a horrible story but everything makes up for it. I have to give Legion 3 1/2 stars for keeping me satisfired by being a really good cool supernatural action/horror popcorn blockbuster entertainer.

Director Christian Alvart & Producer (Paul WS. Anderson) who brought you Resident Evil & Alien vs. Predator takes you for a spectacular ride in space in this psychological suspenseful horror/scifi/thriller called Pandorum. Pandorum is about two space cadets named Bower (Ben Foster) & Payton (Dennis Quaid) who wake up on their abandoned ship with memory loss. While Bower & Payton are trying to figure out what happened to them, they start looking for crew members to find answers. As the search goes on, Bower finds two upright survivors who tell him that their not the only ones on board. The survivors tell Bower that they are being hunted by mysterious creatures who have taken over their ship. As Bower & survivors fight to stay alive, they begin to notice that everything isn't what it seems as they embark a thing called Pandorum where they suffer at the hands of paranoia. Bower & the others must go beyond to figure out the mystery behind Pandorum before everything they know is lost.
Pandorum was a pretty cool scifi/horor film. It's defnitly something new that we haven't seen before in the genre which is the reason why i liked it so much. Pandorum opens up with a dark atmospheric setting that gets right to the point of the mystery. I've never seen a scifi movie that is fast-paced with its storyline. When watching Pandorum it reminded me of another scifi/horror film, Event Horizon. Pandorum is ten times better than that one as it has more jumps, scares & twist & turns every minute. Pandorum doesn't take its self too seriously which i'm glad because its suppose to be fun & entertaining nothing more. I was impressed it didn't take too long for the creatures to show up. That came unexpected & errie when they did. The creatures reminided me from the Descent of how viciously dark they were by killing everything in sight. I thought the creatures were cool looking as they acted like warriors with spears. Theres quite amount of blood. Nothing too gory just like your standard scifi pictures. A movie doesn't have to be violent for you to enjoy it but i can understand that the violence is whatever one comes to see by movies like this. Here its not the case as this movie was more action/adventure than horror. You get nonstop chases sequences that keep you on the edge & fight scenes that are thrilling to watch. The acting was decent enough for you to get into them. Ben Foster who played Bower was believible & the strongest out of the cast. Probably one of his best roles I've seen him in. Dennis Quaid was good. Never have been a fan of Dennis's but he was good for me here. There were moments where he went a little too far with his acting but he succeeded in the end. Cam Gigandet was probably the weakest. Cam seemed he was trying to be way too serious with the film. There were parts where he was ok & some where he just lost it by going over the top. I tell ya Cam, you need to stop trying to use so much emotion with your character if you dont', your going to end up killing his spirit. He came sort of clean in the end but by seeing him in other fims, I expected so much more from him. Sadly, Cam was just so disappointing to me. Need to try harder if you want to stay in show bussiness Cam. Overall, Pandorum is deffenitly one that you should see. Despite its flaws, Pandorum offers enough entertainment by giving you a fun exciting scfi adventure filled with plenty of action & horror elements to keep you satisfied throughout.

Death has come back to haunt teens for the last time. Only this time you get to experience in 3D. This one starts off at a racetrack where one of the teens gets a premonition that something terrible is about to happen. When that person gets that feeling, an explosion occurs centering around them where almost everyone in the stands gets wiped out by suppliances that exploded from the race cars & kills half of them. From there, strange things start haunting each & everyone that survived the massacre. The survivors must work together to cheat death & get rid of the madness once & for all.before they end up being next.
Good:
I have to say when seeing the preview & notice that it was 3D, I wasn't really pumped up for it because I didn't think it was going to be any good. Man, was I wrong about that. My expectations changed when I watched the opening sequence where 3D came to life. From there on, I kept craving for more & it gave me exactly what I wanted. Theirs nothing really new about this one only that its the best out the four by a mile, in other words its buries the other ones in a heart beat. The only thing I found that was different was the survivors causing their accident by going near things which makes death kill them a whole lot faster. I loved how the credits opened after the deaths at the racetrack. I found it amazing how they used an x-ray showing a mix of the deaths that occurred in the series. The deaths are awesome over the top bloody & gruesome like you've never seen before. When witnessing before & after the deaths, you get the situation that their in thrown right off screen into your face. The accidents that happen to the survivors are nasty at times but very well done. I also was very impressed with the CGI they added in 3D. I thought that made it that much greater to experience. I was very surprised that this succeeded for me. Watching this made my day by giving me a fun time at the movies. The movie makes you feel like your in the characters shoes of what they are going through & everything. I was also very surprised of how entertaining this movie came out to be. For a second, could you not take your eyes off the screen. It makes you keep watching waiting till what happens next. I had a really enjoyable time watching this even though it was a short run time but it didn't feel like it which made the movie a good length.
Bad:
This one would have been a perfect 5/5 for me if it wasn't for the terrible acting. OK, I have seen some really bad acting in horror movies before but for this one just completely sucked ass. I didn't know everyone on screen but one which was Mykelti Williamson. He's been good in alot of movies up till now. I don't know whats gone wrong with him but I think it's time for him to retire. I do have to admit that some actually tried acting like Bobby Campo & the sexy Shantel VanSanten. I only have one complaint about them which didn't fit was the fact that they didn't really show their fear towards everyone dying in those accidents. To me, they were the only ones who were cut out for something like this. So I guess I'll cut them some slack because it's their first time in a motion picture. The two that I think shouldn't have a career in the movie business are Nick Zano & Haley Webb. First I'll talk about Nick Zano who played Hunt, a guy who acts like he's all that & thinks he's being funny but he just embarrasses his self when he's on screen. It would of been better for him if he only had an short amount of screen time instead of him being throughout most of the entire film. Next is Haley Webb who took on the ridiculous Janet. In scenes she makes you think she's taking control & having fun but she just messes her acting up right from the start. Nowhere near will she ever be an actress. She just doesn't have what it takes. The only thing she can do is saying some lines where it only looks like she's rehearsing. Man, was she way off course when she wanted star in a film. Hope she stops it right now before she hurts herself. Everyone else I didn't care for because they weren't as important as those 5 I talked about. The acting was the only thing that bothered me. I know this movie wasn't made for acting but seriously they could've done a whole lot better. Like I said before this wasn't mean't to see for the acting,
Overall, if your a fan of the genre or the other Final Destinations you don't won't to miss this one. This has it all. It's a shocking thrill ride that will make you squirm, fear, jump, & cheer. This film was made to have fun watching people die in 3D & thats exactly what it gives you. From the ending, I couldn't really tell if theirs going to be another one but if they plan a sequel I'm definitely there.I just hope they bring back the 3d because it was amazing for this one. By far this is the best one yet. Grab some popcorn & brace yourself for this 3D horror rollercoaster ride that you just want to experience again & again.

A Perfect Getaway is a suspensful heart stopping thrill to the minute survival action/adventure/slasher about a married couple named Cliff (Steve Zahn) & Cydney (Milla Jovovich) who take a trip to a tropical resort in Hawaii for their honeymoon. When Cliff & Cydney get there, they meet another lovely couple named Kale (Chris Hemsworth) & his girlfriend (Marley Shelton) who wants to spend their vacation with them on the trail. The couples are having a great time spending time getting to know one another. Later on, as Cliff & Cydney are trying to go around a cliff, Cydney almost ends up falling off till a mysterious stranger named Nick (Timothy Olyphant) appears & rescues her. Cydney & Cliff are so grateful that Nick came when he did.or their vacation would've been totally ruined. Cydney & Cliff notice that Nick isn't alone but also has a girl of his own named Gine (Kiele Sanchez). Now, all three couples are spending their vacation together & having a good time while doing so. As Cydney & Cliff are hanging with the other couples, Nick & Kale begin to act very strangely towards them. Meanwhile, as the couples are enjoying themselves, a police helicopter shows up & lands where their located at to talk with them about a couple that has been missing for days now. The police also tells them that they've been searching for a wanted couple that they think have been commiting all the murders. When the couples here that, they think that its all a joke by how nice everyone of them are. Later on, the couples realize that their the only ones on the island. When they witness that, they don't know which couple is the accused or innocent. The couples are now in danger trying to figure out which one is the killer. The only way they can figure out the mystery is to kill each other in a battle where only one will stand breathing.
A must say that I really enjoyed every minute of this film. This is what more suspense/thrillers should be like. One that keeps you interested with a good pace building up suspense one step at a time, good character development, beautiful scenery, good hardcore action, & most importantly great acting from the cast. As soon as you think you know the big twist, you don't. It gives clues throughout who the killer might be as the movie flows but it's hard to figure it out right away. Unlike other suspense movies where they give away the twist at the very end, they give it half way through in this one. When the twist is revealed its all heart pounding action with intense graphic brutality. The action sequence towards the end was the most explosive finale I've seen filled with shootings & stabbings that lasts around 20 minutes or so. The climax alone will put a big smile on any action freak's face. Thought the ending had plenty of action for a film like this. When going to see this, I thought this movie was going to be very different than what it was but it still came out great. The characters make you think they are the killers the way they try to trick you & all. The film achieved exactly what it was set out to do & it tuned out great. A Perfect Getaway is one of the best movies I've seen all summer long. What I thought was more enjoyable about this movie was the way the cinematography looked. I thought it was the perfect place to shoot this film. What made the look of the movie that much greater was the wonderful music. The music makes this film feel alive & amazing in the summer time. The next thing that I thought made this film suceed was top notch performances by the cast.
The one I think did the best out of the lot was the magnificent Timothy Olyphant. Man, he was so awesome as Nick the way you knows how to hunt. Timothy made the movie that much more exciting to watch with his interesting character. He was funny, intelligent, & most of all hard to kill. You'll see what I mean when you watch this. Timothy is a great actor & one of the best in my book.
The second that did a really good job along Timothy was Steve Zahn. Never in my life have I seen him take on a serious role other than Joy Ride. This dude was astonishing & knows exactly how to carry a role. I thought he did a good job playing the frightened husband around the other couples. I didn't think he would pull of his role with this movie but I can tell you now that I can defenitly see him taking on another serious role just like I did in this one. Steve is also one of the greatest achievers in the acting business as well.
Next is the sexy Kiele Sanchez. When going to see this I have never heard of her before but coming out I was very satisfied with her performance. She played it out all the way & did a very good job coming out clean. I loved the way she showed emotion for Timothy. I defenitly could see them as a couple. Thats exactly what she made it look like with him. Right now, I'm a big fan of hers & hope to see her in films like this or others where she shows lots & lots of emotion, being scared, & caring loving person.
Mila Jovovich is another awesome actress that I thought did good. For me, she just can't get enough of action which is a good thing. This one however wasn't all action where she had to do something different for a change. In this one she had to be serious & also have fun with it & she did good. I was so amazed how much her acting skills have increased. I thought that she could only star in mindless action movies but now I know that she can do anything she puts her mind too. Can't wait to see what she takes on next.
Chris Hemsworth who played Kale & his girlfriend Cleo played by Marley Shelton didn't ahve much screen time but both were worthy while they were on. I also could defenitly see them take on more roles like this. I'm not to fond of Chris but I think he has star power & look forward to seeing what he's able to do as an actor. Marley Shelton who was in Robert Rodriqueze's Planet Terror was very good being mysterious beside of Chris. I could hardly see her in this but she did your thing & suceeded with her part. Though both of them looked good together as a couple just like every other couple on screen.
Overall, A Perfect Getaway was the perfect summer treat. I'm sure you ever goes & sees it will feel the say I do about it. To me, this wasn't necessary a horror film. Is was more than an adventure/thriller more than anything else. I liked how it provided all the elements like drama, suspense, thrills, little bit of horror & action to satisfy a great summer experience. This is defenitly one checking out if your into all those things I mentioned. I went to see this alone & loved it but I think if I saw with friends I would love it even more. So do yourselves a favor & go see this fun film with exciting thrills & mindblending suspense, & loads of action in the climax. A Perfect Getaway is one of the best movie's of the summer.

Orphan is a suspenseful/horror/thriller about a mother named Kate (Vera Farmiga) & her loving husband John Coleman (Peter Sarsgaard) who have two wonderful children but feel like they need one more to replace their unborn child who they lost when Kate was pregnant with to make the perfect family. So one day, Kate & John decide to adopt a child from an orphanage. When Kate & John get to the orphanage, they start looking around to see what orphan they would like to take home with them. They find a young 9-year old girl who goes by the name of Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman). Kate & John find Esther very sweet & talneted & make the decision to take her into their family. As Esther is with the Coleman's getting to know them better, things start revolving around her as she is not what she seems. Esther starts doing very bad things around Kate & John's kids that nobody else knows about. Later on, Kate gets a feeling that Esther has been lieing to her about who she really is. When that comes to Kate's mind, Esther starts torturing her by all the terrible things she causes. Kate tries to prove to everyone that Esther is bad news but its hard for anyone especially her husband to believe her because how innocent Esther plays it out. Kate must go over the edge to find out who exactly Esther really is by protecting everyone she loves before Esther takes them away from her.

The Last House on the Left is a suspenseful horror thriller remake that opens up with a bang when a criminal named Krug (Garret Dillahunt) busts out of a police car by his colleagues. Meanwhile, a loving family named the Collingwood's, a father named John (Tony Goldwyn), his lovely wife Emma (Monica Potter), & their beautiful daughter Mary (Sara Paxton) moves to a lakehouse where they plan to spend their lives forever. When the Collingwood's settle in their new house, Mary asks her parents if she can go meet a friend & hang. Mary's parents tell her that she can go. When Mary meets up with her friend, they run into a mysterious boy named Justin (Spencer Treat Clark) who seems very suspicious. Justin invites Mary & her friend to come with him to his motel to hang. Later on, Mary & her friend gets in danger when Krug & his psychos come in Justin's motel & start harrasiing them. Krug's gang take Mary & friend out in the woods almost close to her lakehouse. Mary tries to escape but Krug catches her & starts taking advantage of her. After Krug messes with Mary & her friend, Krug kills Mary's friend & leaves Mary for dead. Soon a big thunderstorm comes down on Krug & his gang. So Krug & his gang try to find a place where they can take cover till the storm goes away. Moments later, they see a house out in the middle of nowhere, so they end up heading their. When they get to the house, Krug & his gang don't know what their in for when the parents of Mary finds out what they did to their daughter Mary. When the parents do find out they take matters in their own hands by getting revenge against Krug & his gang in the most grosteque ways imaginable. The Last House on the Left is one of the most entertaining horror movies I've ever seen in my life. This one is alot different from the original because this one is more about feeling. I really think this movie is for everyone because it teaches you a valuable lesson about knowing who to trust & taking up for your family when needed. This movie had alot of gruesome kills which are very disturbing when shown. Theirs also a very violent rape scene that was very hard to watch. It was was just so awful watching that innocent girl who did nothing to deserve what she got. This movie shows you that a horror movie can be good without so much torture. You'd be suprised how much torture can be in some of those few violent scenes. I also think they went a little too over the top with those scenes but it didn't really seem to bother me all that much because I was having such good time watching this enjoyable flick. I absolutely loved this movie because it had me cringing inside by feeling everyone's pain from begining till end. Its that good trust me. The acting was unbelievible from an all-star cast. Tony Goldwyn & Monica Potter have a big future towards them. They showed so much emotion for their daughter that makes them look oscar-worthy. I really enjoyed watching them on screen in every scene. Sara Paxton who plays Mary plays the frightened daughter perfectly. She is very talented young actress who I think also has a big carrer in the future. Krug who was played by Garret Dillahunt was a terrifying bad guy. Krug's gang also kept me on the edge watching their acting. Everyone was just perfect for this movie. I couldn't think anyone else who could've played their parts. I would've gave this 5 stars but since it had a big sadistic rape scene in it which almost made me cry I'm going to give it 4 1/2. Overall, I recommend everyone to see the film. You won't regret paying for it. The Last House on the Left is a horrifying thrill ride that will have you freaked & shaking all over.

The Terminator is the first installment of the race against time scifi/action film about a cyborg (Arnold Swarzenegger) sent from the future to kill Sarah Conner (Linda Hamilton) who is the mother of the unborn son John Conner who will lead the human race when he's older. Their's only one who can make that happen is a soldier who is also sent from the furture named Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn). Together, Kyle & Sarrah must accomplish saving the child so he can lead in a war against machnes in the resistance. The Terminator is highly entertaining with mindblowing action from start to finish. It has a huge amount of CGI effects that are really cool to watch. It has alot of strong violence that is very brutal throughout. Arnold Schwarzengger gives a break out performance as the machine. He's very gritty & repulsive. Michael Biehn is our hero who really captures the picture by risking his neck for Sarah. Linda Hamilton shows that she is very good actress that shows alot of emotion getting scared of what all is happening. The rest of this cast were terrific for this film. The Terminator is a high stakes scifi actioner with nail-biting suspense. 4 1/2 stars

Terminator 2: Judgement Day is a sequel that continues with the war against humans & machines. This time a new cyborg called the T-1000 (Robert Patrick) thats much more advanced is sent from the future to kill the leader of the human race John Conner (Edward Furlong). John is in terrible danger till another cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is sent to protect John & make sure he survives to lead the resistance. Terminator 2 Judgement Day starts off with an opening action sequence & keeps continuing till the finale. The action is intense, violent & visualizing. I thought the new terminator was very cool using all his shape shifting pattern to create weapons to kill John & everything in his path. Arnold is back & better as he's ever been. He kicks more butt in this one by using skills he didn't use in the last one like using more weapons, causing more destruction & mayhem. Theres alot of bad language thats used from everyone except for the machines. The acting is great from everyone. Edward who plays John shows that he has a big future awaiting him. He's very talented actor who brings everything he has to the table. Linda Hamilton who plays Johns mother is amazing actress just she always is. There's no suprise about Arnold. He always makes a good appearence in all his movies. Robert Patrick was good as the T2 robot. He was very vicious & intriguing. I thought he played a cool bad robot. Overall, I recommend T2 to all fans of the trillogy & action fans as well. T2 is one of the best action pictures of all time.

The smash hit Terminator saga is back for another round where the coolest machines in history are fighting against the resistance in this high voltage action extravaganza sequel, Terminator Salvation. It is now 2018 in apocalyptic world where theirs not much of humanity left from Skynet launching their missles & completely destroying everything in sight that they call Judgement Day. Now, The machines are up & running taking on the future. John Conner (Christian Bale) is all grown up now leading the resistance against the machines with his wife, Kate Connor (Bryce Dallas Howard). John is the resistance's only hope for survival. Connor belives that the only way that can end this war is by finding the one who was sent to protect his mother, Kyle Reese. Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a death row inmate who has a lost memory is on a quest to look for the great John Connor so he can get some answers of whats going on. During Marcus's quest, he finds a young boy named Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) who saves him from a shootout downtown involving a terminator who tried to kill him. From there, Kyle joins Marcus on his journey to finding Connor. As they get closer to where Connor is stationed, they end up facing machines along the way who are sent to kill them. Marcus & Kyle try to fight off the machines by taking them out with their weapons but they just keep coming with a fast pace. Marcus & Kyle end up running into a dead end where one of the machine ships try to take them out. Connor spots Marcus & Kyle & tries to help them by destroying the machine ship. Connor succeeds but another machine comes across & ends up taking Kyle Reese hostage while Marcus escapes. Later on, when the machines are gone, Marcus meets one of John Connor's soldiers whose name is Blair Williams (Moon Bloodgood). Blair ends up taking Marcus to John so he can get the information that he wants from him. As Blair & Marcus are heading to Connors headquarters, Marcus ends up getting captured by stepping onto a mine. Marcus gets taken to Connor & gets chained up for a reason. Connor begins to ask him questions about hisself. Marcus thinks his human but ends up finding out he's wrong when he notices he's machine underneath. Marcus tries to convince John that he's still good even though he's built by Skynet but he dosen't believe him. Blair starts telling John how she thinks he's not the enemy because of how good he is to her. John doesn't believe her either. Moments later, Blair frees Marcus & escapes with him. Connor finds out about what happened & starts hunting down Marcus. While Connor is out looking for Marcus, he ends up runnning into trouble when a machine tries to kill him. Marcus ends up saviing Connor & thats when Connor starts believing Marcus is what he say he is. John ends up trusting Marcus to be on his side. Now, Connor & Marcus must go inside & find out exactly whats going on with skynet so they can stop the machines once & for all to protect the human race..
Salvation opens up with a bang & never lets up the whole 2 hours. It was a heartpounding action/adventure that was entertaining all the way through that stayed true to the franchise. I think this one is the best out of trilogy because it had alot going for it like better storyline, action & visual effects. Their's quite a number of great action scenes involving gun battles & explosions in Salvation.
One of my favorites is where Marcus & Kyle are running from the harvester & motorcycle terminators. That was a long intense chase sequence.

The second fav part is at the very end where Connor comes face to face with a lookalike of Arnold Schwarzenegger & Marcus putting up a fight with the T-800 that reminded me of T2 when Arnold was facing the T-1000.
Salvation is also quite violent. In some scenes you see blood & brutal shots of the machines killing humans. I thought the terminators in this one looked darker than the previous ones. Their were alot of new machines in this one that I found to be cool.

First, was the T-600 that was the first cyborg to appear upon screen. They were locked & loaded with heavy machine guns that shoot in a blink of an eye.
Second, is the T-800 that are the newley develped cyborg by skynet that are much stronger & harder to kill than any other machine.
Third, The Harvester that is a big mechanical robot thats a lookalike of a transformer that has a cannon thats attached to its back to target to blow things up with.
Fourth, the machines that are called the Moto-terminators that are the Harvesters defense incase it can't catch up. They have cannons strapped on the side of them that they target with & destroy without warning.
Last but not least, the hydrobot that surfaces around water & attacks we don't expect it.
I was really impressed with the acting. Christian Bale, my favorite of them all is no surprise. He's just one of the greatest actors ever that brought John Connor to life. I tell ya, Christian can play anything once he sets his mind to it. Christian did well with the action scenes fighting the terminators. Looks like he did his own stunts which is also not a shocker because he did it in the Dark Knight while playing Batman. Hope Christian ends up coming back for the sequel for the franchise. I don't think anybody else could play the part of John Connor only Christian. Every movie that Christian stars in he just ceases to amaze me with his talents.
Second best actor in this film was Sam Worthington's performance as Marcus. Sam did an outstanding job while playing his part. As I was watching Sam on screen, he looked like he put his heart & soul into his character. I think he's going to have a big future in the acting business one day. Hope to see him take on more roles.
Third best actor was Anton Yelchin who played Kyle Reese. Man, from seeing him in Alpha Dog, he really improved on his acting. Their were some scenes in the movie he stole. Anton's on his way to being a big actor hisself. Way to go!!!
Fourth is the beautiful Moon Bloodgood who took on Blair Williams. When I saw Moon in Street Fighter, I thought she was just an ok actress. When I saw her in this one, man she blew her performance from Street Fighter out of the water. I was saying to myself once she hit on screen, that girl can act all the way & she did throughout. I've never been so surprised by my life by acting in a movie. Moon is on her way to the top & beyond.
Last actor that I was utterly surprised by was rapper Common who portrayed Barnes. I must say I had very low expectations on his acting since some of his other roles I've witnessed. When he poped up in Salvation, Woah, talented actor. I tell ya, first rapper that took a movie seriously & didn't mess up. Common made his character believable & one that everyone would cheer for. I think Common needs to switch from rapping to acting. Acting is where he belongs & i'm sure everyone will agree with me on that.
Their were more good actors in this film like Bryce Dallas Howard who was Kate. I have to day that I didn't really get into her character much because she wasn't that intresting to me. If she had better character develpment my perspective would change.
Last but not least their's Michael Ironside that I didnt really care for but he was still good nonetheless.
Overall, this is a start of a new franchise all thanks to the brillant director McG who put his brain & heart to work in this amazing piece of cinema entertainment. Salvation is the first of its kind that I'm a assuming will be huge summer blockbuster & very big at the box-offce. If your fan of terminator you'll defenitly love this one. It doesn't disappoint for a minute. If your not a fan still go see this. After watching this one, I promise you will become one. Terminator Salvation is an all out enjoyable action-packed scifi entertainer filled with heart beating suspense, electryfying thrills, & amazing special effects.

Wolverine is an action packed/fantasy tale about how the mutant Wolverine became an indestructible killing machine with razor claws. Wolverine starts off where Logan aka Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is growing up fighting in wars with his brother Victor aka Sabertooth (Liev Schreiber). When its done showing all that, Logan & Victor get executed for all the violence they caused. You know when that happened, that they didn't die since they have the ability to heal theirselves. After Logan & Victor get executed, a man that goes by the name of Stryker (Danny Huston) offers both of them an oppurtunity to get back in action by putting them with a team of powerful mutants with extroadinary skils just like them that he rounded up. Logan & Victor takes Styker's offer & get together to fight with the team of mutants. The team goes to a place where some of the mutants like "Agent Zero" (Will I. Am), "The Blob" (Kevin Durand) & "Deadpool" (Ryan Reynolds) show Logan & Victor what their capable of. After every mutant gets done showing off their powers, something goes terribly wrong when the team gets very aggresive by trying to execute one of the innocent. Logan is the only who is against the execution of innocence so he tries to stop them but he notices that he can't stop them just yet because he's not strong enough to take them all down. Logan ends up escaping the team & hopes to never to confront them ever again.
Years later, Logan is a married man living with his lovely wife named Kayla Silverfox (Lynn Collins). Logan couldn't be happier with what he has. One day, when Logan is at work, Stryker pays him a visit & tells him that someone has been killing the team of mutants. Stryker wants to get Logan back so he will have someone to take down whoever is calling the madness. Logan refuses & goes on with his life.

The next day, Kayla drops Logan off for work & ends up heading home. On Kayla's way home, a stranger appears before Kayla's eyes. When that happens, Logan starts getting a bad feeling. Logan starts going out to look for Kayla to see if she's alright. Logan finds Kayla's vehicle & see's scratch marks all over it. Logan starts searching for Kayla & ends up finding her laying on the ground. Logan looks at her body & notices that she is dead. By the scratch marks on the car, Logan thinks that Victor murdered Kayla. So James wants revenge against Victor for killing his wife. Logan finds Victor at a bar & ends up fighting him & tries to kill him during the process. Logan looses & Victor escapes.
  
Suddenly, Logan gets knocked out & Stryker takes him back to his lab. Logan wakes up & threatens to kill Styker because he thinks that he knew who was doing the killings all along. Stryker wants Logan to get his revenge by killing Victor. The only way he can do that is make him more powerful than he could ever imagine. Logan takes Stryker's offer because he wants vengence. Stryker begins to experiment on James but before he does he wanted to know what Logan wanted to be called, he said Wolverine. Stryker begins experimenting on Wolverine & ends up filling his body with antimanthium which will make him immortal. Now, Logan is officially called Wolverine, an indestructible razor clawed killing machine that will have his vengence. Something starts going terribly wrong when Wolverine gets flat lined from his procedure. While Wolverine is out, Stryker begins telling everyone why he chose Wolverine for this experiment. Wolverine ends up recovering from his procedure & hears Stryker's plan. Wolverine notices that Stryker has played him by experimenting on him. Wolverine wakes up & rises taking out Styker's men & then escapes from the lab. Now Wolverine is unstoppable mutant who is on the run by Stryker who is trying to kill him. Wolverine must settle the score with Stryker by hunting him down him & find out exactly what he's up too on his quest for vengence against Victor.
  
Wovlerine is a great action-packed adrenaline rush of a film. It's so fast paced that's very entertaining. It held my attention throughout with the interesting plot & explosive nonstop action sequences. The special effects were beyond amazing. They were mindblowing of something I've never witnessed before. Hugh Jackman does a great job as Wolverine as he always does. No one could match the character of wolverine except him. Liev Schreiber who played Vicktor aka Sabertooth was very good with his role. The only thing I din't get is if he's called Sabertooth, how come no one mention his name towards him in here? I didn't get it but the movie is still great. I thought this Sabertooth was cooler looking than the one in the first X-MEN. Liev made a believable Sabertooth that was very ferocious & evil. Danny Huron played well as the evil experimenter. Ryan Reynolds was cool & funny as Deadpool even thought he was briefly shown. Taylor Kitsch played the awesome Gambit. He's such a cool character that's one of my favorite mutants along with Wolverine. Everyone else did a good job portraying their characters too. This movie is just flat out fast, fun, exciting, & watchable thorughout. I didn't get boring one mintue watching this flick. It has it all for a great action movie. What made this movie that more entertaining was the funny lines. Overall, Wolverine is a movie thatsa must see for all action/x-men fans. Wolverine is the best X-MEN yet & probably will ever be. Wolverine is an exciting action/sci/fi adrenaline pumping heart pounder with spectacular special effects, outstanding acting, shocking suspense & a heavy class of full blown entertainment.

Drag Me to Hell is story about a young woman named Christine Brown (Allison Lohman) who has the perfect job working in a bank, the perfect boyfriend named Clay (Justin Long), & thinks she has the perfect life. For years, Christine has been trying to do the best job she can by making the right decisions so her boss (David Paymer) will give her a promotion to assistant manager position. One day, Christine's plans change when a elderly gypsy woman named Mrs. Ganish (Lorna Raver) comes to see Christine about seeing if she can have another extenston on your home when she's had too many already. Christine thinks she's making the right decision by telling Mrs. Ganish that she can't have another one. Mrs. Ganish starts begging Christine by getting down all her hands & knees pleading to keep her home. Christine keeps rejecting & calls for security to remove Mrs. Ganish from the bank. After Christine gets off work, she goes down to the parking lot to get in her car. Suddenly, out of nowhere Mrs. Ganish shows up with anger upon her face. Mrs. Ganish strikes at Christine with a vengence to make her pay for what she's done. Christine fights back & thinks she's won but realizes that she hasn't. Mrs. Ganish just keeps coming at her with rage. Finally, Mrs. Ganish captures Christine & puts a curse on her teling her that her time will come very soon. Christine wakes up in the parking lot with Mrs. Ganish nowhere in sight thinking that she just had a bad dream. Christine calls the police & her boyfriend Clay to tell them what she went through. On Christine's way home with Clay, Christine stops by to see a psychic named Rham Jas (Dileep Rao) about her future. As Rham looks to see whats to come of Christine, he starts to freak when seeing a vision that he feels shouldn't be in Christine's future. Rham tells Christine that she has been cursed by a Lamia, the fearsome of all demons. Rham then begins to explain to Christine how the curse works by telling her that she will go through 3 days of torture from the demon. Then after Christine goes through those stages, Rham warns her by saying if she hasn't given the curse away by the third day she will be dragged straight to hell for eternity.
Drag Me to Hell is the best horror movie of the decade. Sam Raimi proves once again that he has what it takes to make scary movies. This movie wasn't only scary, it was also fun. Every moment in the film had full of surprises that were unexpected. I know some will expect a straight forward horror movie. Well, I have bad news for the ones that think that, thats not what this is. This is flat out fun from begining till end thats throughly entertaining containing a great story, likeable characters, dark comedy, scary moments including distubing & horror images, blood/some gore, disgusting features & unexpected twists & turns that you won't see coming. I expected this movie to be scary but not that scary. From the first 5 minnutes your heart will keep raising by making you jump right out of your seat. Every turn in the movie is scare right after another. I've never jumped so much while watching a horror movie in my life. Thats how terrifying this movie is. So if your a horror fanatic, go & see this one. Trust me, by the time you get done watching it you want to drag yourself back in & experience all over again. Drag Me to Hell is a hell of a ride that will sizzle down your spine by making you cringe & scream out the top of lungs that gets you wanting more & more.

The only way John can get back his daughter is to go on a mission & complete a task for the dictator but John has other plans in mind. John decides that he's not going to cooperate. Now with the help of a young female (Rae Dawn Chong), John goes out for revenge & war.
Commando gives you everything you want out of an action movie. Arnold has a big body count in this one. Theirs blood & limbs shooting off left & right when the war starts. Arnold Schwarzeneeger blows you right out of your seat watching him kick butt. Rae Dawn Chong is very beautiful & lights up the screen with her looks. Commando is Arnie's best action movie ever thats flat out fun filled with bloody great action that explodes right in your face.

Predator is a tale of an commando elite teamed leaded by Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who go on a mission to search for a missing unit thats disappeared. When the elite team arrive at the location in a jungle where the unit was heard from last, they start scoping out the place by looking for survivors. As Dutch & his team are looking, they find decapitated bodies of the unit. Dutch & his team doesn't know who or what could've done this to them. Meanwhile, Dutch hears a sound coming from the other side of the jungle. The team see's a team of guerilla soldiers who they think killed the unit. Suddenly, Dutch & his team attack the guerilla's & make sure their's none of them left alive. When the team have finished taking out the guerilla's, they find a female who they take hostage. Dutch & his men think that they have taken out the ones who has been causing the all the madness. The team ends up heading back into the jungle continuing their search to see if they can find anymore survivors. Later on, when the female hostage escapes, one of the team members tries to catch her but something ends up killing him. Dutch & the other team members goes to see if the member caught the hostage but they end up finding bloody parts of his body just like how they found the unit. From there, Dutch & his team realize that the guerilla's wern't the killers when they witness an alien creature starts hunting them down one by one.

Predator is a explosive scifi/action hit of the 80's. It has everything you could want in a scifi film. It has nonstop action, fantastic visual effects, heart stopping suspense & gruesome violence. What makes this movie stand out even more is big action star Schwarzenegger. I'm actually glad they picked someone strong enough to go up against something like the Predator. It wouldn't make any sense otherwise & the Predator wouldn't ahve no competition. So I'm glad that worked out with this film. Predator is just a fun time nothing else. Its great entertainment for any action/scifi fan. The acting from everyone was superb. Predator is a landmark in action films & still the biggest one to date. Predator is one awesomely fast-paced scifi action packed blockbuster full of gory violence, mindblowing stunts, engaging character development & glorified enjoyment.

Mega Star Arnold Schwarzenegger travels to mars in this action/scifi/horror/thriller, Total Recall. Total Recall is about a ordinary guy named Douglas Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who is happily married to his lovely wife, Lori (Sharon Quaid) & loves his job & friends. There's just one thing that Doug doens't like & that is not having any fun. Doug has always been interested in a place called Total Recall, where he can travel to different planets.
One day, Doug goes to Recall just to check it out & he gets excited once he enters. Doug decides to go ahead & pay for the trip where he wants to go which is Mars. Recall suggests Doug to pick another planet because they don't think he'll like it that much but Doug says thats the only one he's interested in. Recall tells Doug thats fine & he's just minutes away from going on the trip. As Doug gets paying for the trip to Mars, Recall offers Doug a bonus package thats worth his wild where he can travel as a different person. Doug looks at the selections & he picks a secret agent where he will have an attractive female partner who goes by Melina (Rachel Ticotin). Recall secures Doug & sets off to Mars.
Meanwhile, as Doug is on his way, some kind of disturbance bothers Doug when he illusinates about somebody trying to kill him. Recall doesn't know what Doug is talking about because they havent implanted anything about him yet. Recall thinks that someone has been messing with Doug's mind by erasing his memory thinking he's already been to Mars. Doug breaks out of Recall & goes about his life. As Doug is heading home, he runs into his friends where they try to attack him but he fights back & takes them out. Doug has no clue why his friend betrayed him but is willing to find out.
When Doug gets home, he tells Lori that someone wants him dead & he doesnt know why. Lori thinks that Doug is just imagining the whole thing. Seconds later, Lori starts believing Doug's story when she see's him covered in blood. Lori tells Doug that she wants to call for help but he doesn't want her too because he doesn't know who he can trust. As Doug is washing his hands, he goes back to tell Lori something but suddenly gets attacked in the dark. Doug catches the attacker & finds out that its Lori. Doug couldn't believe his eyes. Lori tells Doug that she is not really his wife. She is just someone that was written to be his wife by an agency. Lori tells Doug that his whole life has been a dream. Lori tells Doug how sorry she was attacking him but she was assigned to. Lori begins to seduce Doug but Doug finds out that she is setting him up by secret operatives headed by Cohaegan (Ronny Cox), head of the agency she called to track him down & kill him. From there, Doug becomes a fugitve where he keeps running into trouble by the agency & having nobody to trust. Doug must figure out the mystery behind hisself, why Recall wants him dead & find his partner Melina so they can combine forces to take out Cohaegan & save Mars.
Total Recall is action-packed scifi blockbuster with plenty of thrills. It was one of Arnies best movie to date in the 90's. I still enjoy watching this film. There's know way you could be bored over it. It just keeps you interested & entertaining throughout. There's substanial amounts of blood/gore that was very surprising coming from a genre from this film. The best thing about this one is the standout performances by everyone.

Rachel Ticotin who i'm not very familiar with stood out like a charm as Melina. She kicks butt with Schwarzenegger mostly throughout the entire film. Rachel is also a hott female actress. Rachel defenitly proved by this film that she can show off her skills & looks while she's on screen.

Now, the most beautiful woman & my favorite actress of all time Mrs. Sharon Stone. Man, no woman can top her looks or her acting. She just hits the money by being the sexiest female that ever came on screen. Sharon played a good villian that kicked Arnie's butt at times. She knows how to put a good fight with Rachel to where she wiped the floor with her.I just enjoy watching Sharon now & especilly back then where she was the most gorgeous actress out there. If i was back in her time when she looked like that, I would defenitly run at her. Nothing would stand in my way from getting a piece of that body.
The other cast was not as great as those three were but they were still good nonetheless. Overall, Total Recall is worth the watch. If your an Arnie & action/scifi fan you don't want to miss it. It's one of the best science fiction movie's I've ever seen. Total Recall is an entertaining heart pumping action-packed adrenaline scifi extravanganza that keeps you on the edge full of its nonstop action sequences & velocity thrills.

Eraser is about a U.S. Federal Marshall named John Kruger (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who erases peoples identities & makes up a new one when he saves them from danger. John makes sure that nobody will ever get involved with them again. Now, John has a new assignment to protect a woman named Lee Cullen (Vanessa Williams) who has stolen information on technology from her company that sells ray guns, a super powered gun that shoots at the speed of light that nobody is suppose to know about meaning top secret. When Lee steals the information she is hunted by her company wanting to kill her if she doesn't give them back the information. John must come to Lee's rescue & protect her with all his might by making sure she stays alive so she can testify against the ones who is spreading war on terror.

John Carpenter brings pure horror in this action-packed terrifying rollercoaster ride, Ghosts of Mars. Ghosts of Mars is about a mars patrol team leaded by Commander Helena Braddock (Pam Grier), her second in command, Lt. Melanie Ballard (Natasha Henstridge) & the rest of the team featuring Sgt. Jericho Butler (Jason Statham), Bashira Kincaid (Clea DuVall) who are assigned to bring back a convicted criminal, James 'Desolation' Williams (Ice Cube) to justice. When the team arrives at the location where William's is, they start scoping out the place by looking for him. As the search goes on, the team ends up finding survivors but not Williams. From there, one of the team members who is Jericho, encounters something very unusual when he looks down at a mining operation & see's disturbing things going on with the miners. Jericho starts getting freaked & heads back to the team. Lt. Ballard & the team are still searching for Williams, they finally find him locked up in a holding cell. Ballard & the others don't know why Williams is succure like that. The team suspect that something is very werid going on. Later, Jericho finds Ballard & informs her along with her team what he saw in the mines. Jericho tells them that the Commander is dead & that they need to get Williams & leave now. Ballard & the others don't understand what Jericho is saying to them till they witness it too. Moments later, Ballard & the rest of team begin to realize what Jericho is telling them when they see the pack of strange psychotic miners who they assume are martians now going in insain. The team & the survivors try to hide in places where the martians can't find them. When the their hiding, something unexpected that the team & the others didnt know, is that one of them is possessed somehow. They don't know how but they think that it has something to do with the miners. They end up being right when they kill one of the survivors & a martian gets released & ends up possessing another. Now, the team & the survivors must find away to stay alive by fighting the martians in an all out war with their heavy automatic weapons & anything they can use to defeat them but they have to watch out or they could become one of the ghosts of mars.
Ghosts of Mars is spectacular fun scifi entertainment from start to finish. Its a bloody good horrifying/actioner that features explosive gunfights, explosions, blood, gore & profane language. Another thing I liked about the action scenes is that it had metal music in the background. I thought that was really cool how they added that in. The music brought the action to live. The story is grim, dark & terrifying. It makes you wonder what you would do if you were in the teams & survivors shoes where they have to try to survive without getting possessed by a martian. Thats a scary thought i think. I was actually really impressed with the acting coming from this film. Natasha Henstridge is sexy & good in her role. She knows how to show someone a good time buy watching her act & kick butt. I can't really see Ice Cube as an actor but I tell ya one thing, he can defenitly entertain the audience. Ice also has a mouth on him in this film. Thats what I love about him though. Ice also kicks some serious butt in this film as well. No surprise about how cool Jason Statham is in action films. In this one, he fights just as good as he does in his other ones. It was more exciting watching Jason kick *** than Natasha or Ice becase he has more experience. I'm so glad they picked an action star for such an awesome action movie. It made that much more great. I must say, that Jason's acting was a little weak in this one. He could've done so much better but still not bad. I actually think this one was close to his third movie he's starred in so i'll give him a break. Clea DuVall was good in her role as a officer. She had some scenes where she took matters in your own hands in the action sequences. Overall, I recommend this film to anyone who wants to be entertained & enjoy a mindless popcorn film. Ghosts of Mars is flat out entertaining blast of scifi romp thats full of explosive nonstop action & high octane gorefest.

hard rain is an action packed thriller bout a cop who has taken $3 million in a major flood & running from the criminals who were planning on stealing it. now tom must do watever he can to stop the criminals & make sure they dont get their hands on the money. something goes terribly wrong when the sheriff hears bout the money. now the sheriff & his debuties want their share of the cut. tom must join forces with the band of criminals to take out the sheriff & his men. this is a very entertaining movie with alot of action & suspense. it has alot of shootouts from the start & doesnt stop till the very end. the acting was great from everyone. overall i recommend this movie for action fans. its a great action packed rollercoaster ride 5/5 stars.

broken arrow is a nonstop action packed explosive thrill ride. this movie centers around 2 pilots named riley hale & vic deakins who once were best friends till one night they were set on a mission to drop off nuclear bombs in the dessert where one betrays the other one by stealing nuclear weapons. now riley hale must go in a battle against his worst enemy by trying to take back the weapons before he wipes out the world by destroy everything aorund them. this movie had explosive gunfights & explosions throughout. it was a very entertaining action flm. the acting was great from everyone. overall i recommend this movie to all action fans, a cool action flick 4/5 stars.

the rock was a great action movie. it's bout a prison in alcatraz that gets taken over by marines who plan on releasing chemical weapons if the goverment dont pay them in time. now the government must form a special group of marines & send them to take down the bad ones before its too late. this movie was filled with high octane action sequences & entertainment. it has alot of gunfights, explosions & language in this one. it is also a pretty violent film. the acting was great from everyone especially one of my fav actors of all time ed harris. he did an outstanding job as the evil general. overall i recommend this movie for action fans. one of the best action blockbusters of all time. get ready to rock, 4 1/2 stars.

While, Jon is on the run, he meets a sexy prositute named Meg (Mira Sorvino) who helps him fight the killers. As Jon & Meg are fighting off the bad guys, Jon finds out the triad doesn't want to kill the cop but his son. Now, Jon & Meg must protect the cops son by going in an all out war with the highly trained replacement killers.
The Replacement Killers is a top notch explosive action film. This movie is very entertaining & fast paced. Chow Yun Fat & Mira Sorvino at their best being the badasses that stole the show. Them alone made a great team as the gunslingers. There are alot of shootouts from start to finish that are balls off the wall full of enjoyable. Overall, I recommend this movie for hard boiled action & Chow Yun Fat/Mira Sorvino fans. Two Thumbs Very High Up for this stylish exciting action picture thats the best of its kind.

Jason Statham is back as the indestructible hitman Chev Chelios wrecking havoc once again seeking vengence while going through another crazy stage in this insanely action-packed adrenaline pumping sequel, Crank: High Voltage.
High Voltage starts right where the first left off when Chev is falling from the sky & lands straight flat down on a car onto the pavement. When that happens, a van of baddies comes & scrapes Chev off the road into their van to take him to a Clinic where a thief named Johnny Vang operates on Chev by removing his heart & replacing it with an artificial one. Moments later, Chev begins to wake up when he hears something that gets to him & starts taken matters in his own hands by killing everyone in sight. After Chev causes chaos, he starts feeling very strange about hisself. He feels thats something is out of place. Chev notices that his heart has been taken but still has one that requires something to keep him alive.
Meanwhile, Chev escapes from the Clinic out for revenge on Johnny Wang who stole his heart. Chev calls his handy doctor, Doc Miles (Dwight Yoakam) who helps Chev once again with his condition. Doc tells Chev that the only way he can stay alive is by using jolts of electricity to charge his battery to work his heart. When Chev hears that he starts going around powering hisself up in the most craziest ways you can think of while hunting down his stolen heart.

Crank: High Voltage is brillantly executed action/adventure/comedy that is way better than the first. High Voltage has everything you would want in a movie that includes blood, guns, dark humor, sex, drugs & boobs. This one blows the first one off by a mile by all those things. Basically because its more over the top & fun. I thought this one had a more interesting plot than the original. This movie is so crazy, its awesome. I enjoyed every minute of it. I never was bored for a second. It kept me strapped in watching all the way through. This is my favorite movie ever. It has great story, great direction, great dark comedy, great mindless action sequences & great gratuitious violence. This movie wasn't made for the acting, just the experience & having a good time. I thought the acting was great because their were such insane characters just that fits the movie just right. Jason Statham is what made this movie great. He shows the audience here that he is the biggest action star in history. This is his best movie yet. Mark Neveldine/Brian Taylor who directed this movie are amazing by coming up with ideas for a movie like this. Hope to see more movies made by them in the future. I think their going to be very big one day. By this movie, their my favorite directors of all time. Hope that stays that way. Overall, if you liked the first Crank you'll love this one even more. If you didn't then look somewhere else because this movie takes the cake for the most craziest movie you'll ever see in your life. By the way, stay after the end of the credits. It gives you a hint that their's going to be a next installment to the trilogy. I don't know what kind of idea their going to come up with this time but I'm sure looking forward to it. It's an excellent piece of action cinema experience that I'm hoping will make alot of money at the box-office because it definitely deserves it. Crank: High Voltage is a perfectly charged high octane adrenaline rush full of ridiculous moments, bone crushing action set pieces & spectacular entertainment.

Crank is a top notch thrill ride around every turn. He keeps you on the edge throughout the movie. I really enjoyed this movie & hope everyone feels the same way I do about this film. Its a great stylish high tech rollercoaster ride. 4 stars

As Hancock is with Rafe & his family, Rafe decides that he wants to help Hancock by putting him back on top. The only way that Hancock can do that, is by going away & see if the people miss him. One day, things go real bad where the public need Hancock's help once again. Hancock comes but not like as he was before but with an actual superhero suit which makes him an icon to the world.
Hancock is a very good action/comedy/drama. Hancock is not an ordinary superhero movie where its just action but with a story that keeps you interested & having fun with. It has its up & downs on things but good nonetheless. It's set on superb class entertainment all the way. From the start your in on the action & as it goes on it keeps you on edge of your seat suspense. There are twists that you don't see coming that were very shocking when witnessing. This film is really hillarious with alot of suggestive crude that may not be suitable for younger viewers. Their is also some foul language that was little too much for a PG-13 like using the F-Word twice. Hancock is one of Will Smith's best & finest performances since I Am Legend. Even though this movie doesn't really relie on acting, I was very surprised how good it was. Charlize Theron was really good with her part playing a sexy stunning wife. Jason Bateman who I'm not really familiar with was good as well who was trying to help Will get make on his feet with things. Whoever hasn't seen this movie. You don't know what your missing. Do yourselves a favor & see this fun enjoyable film. Hancock is an entertaining action-packed piece of cinema that will engage viewers with a good story along with a fun expereince watching Will take on a hero that will inspire..

i just got back from seeing bangkok dangerous & i have to tell ya, that i had heck of a time watching it. bangkok dangerous is a kick *** movie. it was an extremely entertaining fast-paced action-packed movie. from the very begining u get hooked watching it till the very end. the action never lets up for a sec. it has lots & lots of gunfights & explosions. it also had some pretty violent parts in some scenes. the action & story was just terrific for the movie. i wasnt really expecting the ending to turn out like it did but i was still satisfied with it. its just one of those endings u dont expect. overall this is one of nicolas cage's best movies. i really enjoyed watching it & i'm sure everyone else will feel the same. the movie is worth watching again & again, its straight forward action flick 4/5 stars.

Rambo rocked all the way through. It was filled with some much action, blood, gore, and violence from start to finish. It was one of the most entertaining movies that I've seen so far this year. This was the best Rambo to date b/c you can experience seeing all the violence what Rambo causes throughout towards the bad soldiers. I loved every waking minute of this movie. I will definitly like to see it again when it comes to DVD. So if your in the mood for boody violent entertainment & action & gore filled excitement, then u should definitly go see it, you wont regret it. 4 1/2 stars

The whole gang is back for another ride in this shifting action-packed prequel, Fast & Furious. This one starts off where Dom (Vin Diesel), his girlfriend Letty (Michelle Rodriquez) & their gang are trying to hijack a load from a truck driver. Things go bad for them, when the truck driver runs them off the road. The truck gets out control for the driver & he can't stop it. Dom & Letty are in grave danger as the truck is by their side on the road. Suddenly, the truck driver escapes his truck & Dom & Letty tries to out run the truck before it crashes into them. Dom gets ahead of the truck & few seconds after they do that, the truck turns over on its back & slides towards them. Out of the blue, Dom gets a crazy idea by getting past the truck. Dom decides to try to beat the truck by going under it as its rolling over them. Luckily, Dom & Letty make it past the truck & are safe. Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) is chasing down a convicted felon trying to get answers from him about information about a drug cartel. Brian gets hold of the felon & interogates him. Back somewhere in Los Angeles, Dom & Letty are spending time with each other. As the two of them are enjoying their time together. Dom tells Letty that he needs to get away before the cops find him & takes him away. So Dom leaves Letty & heads to Mexico for the time being. Weeks later, Mia (Jordana Brewster), Dom's sister calls him & tells him that a loved one of his was murdered. Dom's heart gets broken & wants vengence by finding the killer & make sure he pays for what he did. As Dom is looking for the killer, Brian finds Dom & teams up with him by helping him find the one who was responsible & bring that person to justice.
The only way Brian & Dom can seek justice against the killer is by getting involved in car races that is run by a drug dealer named Campos (John Ortiz). As Dom & Brian get closer to finding the killer, things get bad for the two of them where they have to escape from dangerous situations where its impossible to survive. When the killer, finds out about Dom & Brian, the killer starts hunting them down inch by inch till their both dead. Dom & Brian must go over the edge by fighting the killer at his own game through explosive car races, massive shootouts till justice is served.
Fast & Furious is the best in the series. It's the one we've all have been wating for & it delivers. Action explodes off screen right from the start & keeps going till the end. This one has more intense race sequences than the other 3. I really enjoyed watching the cars race through the whole movie. This movie is just one big race scene that never stops. The cars are more fast & more furious than ever. The action scenes contains chases & shootouts that are real exciting when witnessing. When they come, you get shocked & thrilled. As you watch the drivers race their cars, you feel like your right their with them experiencing their car crashes & mayhem. It's just so unbelivible. The acting has improved by all the coming back actors. I was really impressed how much Vin Diesel's acting improved. I actually think he stole this movie by being the cool dude he is. Vin took it serious by seeking vengence. I enjoyed watching Vin kick butt fighting aganst the bad guys in fist fights & shootous. Paul Walker was great too. Well, he's always great but I think this was his best performance & one I've been waiting to see. Paul came in second in this movie. Paul also kicks butt coming down all on the bad guys & busting their heads. Jordana brewster & Michelle Rodiquez had very small roles but both gave good performances. They also get points for being the sexy babes that they are. Overall, Fast & Furious is one to check out & own when it comes to video. It doesn't matter if your a fan of cars or the series. This movie is surprisingly entertaining expereince that you'll never forget, trust me. Fast & Furious is a spectacular supercharged action fueled thrill ride that keeps pumping energy through every sequence that keeps you wanting more & more. 5 stars

i just came back from seeing eagle eye & i thought it was a great movie experience. it is a movie bout a guy named jerry shaw (shia labeouf) & a woman named rachel holloman (Michelle Monaghan) who one day gets a call from a mysterious stranger telling them that they need to complete tasks to stay alive. now on the run, jerry & rachel must figure out the mystery behind the stranger before its too late. i thought this movie was action-packed with adrenaline rush throughout. it keeps u on the edge & never lets up till the very end. their r great twists & turns that u dont see coming. i thought this movie had the best acting out of any movie that i've ever seen. they all seemed oscar-worthy to me. overall this movie is worth every penny. its a great movie that u want to experience again & again. one of the best movies of the year. two very big thumbs up, 4 1/2 stars.

When Miles reminds Danny about the incident, Miles comes into Danny's life & threatens to take his wife Molly (Ashley Scott) away from him like he did to Miles lover. The only way Danny can get Molly back is to complete 12 dangerous challenges that Miles has set up all over New Orleans. Now, Danny must finish each task in time & get Molly back in one piece.

12 Rounds was a very surprising action movie to me. It has a great plot, great action & great acting that I didn't see coming. The action sequences were shot very well which made them look so real. They were electrifying & exciting to watch. The camera was a bit shakey like in the Bourne Ultimatum but made the action come to life just like that movie's action scenes did. Now for the big finalie, the acting by John Cena. I have to tell you that John Cena really impressed me by his acting ability in this movie. John proves that he has what it takes to be an actor & action star. Aiden Gillen played a dirty & violent crminal. I'm not too familiar with this guy but he really did his thing & made a good appearence. It was just as good watching him act as Cena's. In this film you get to root for the good & bad guy on screen which rarely happens in movies. I think John & Aiden stole this film. Between the two of them was just so fantastic playing cat & mouse. I hope Cena & Gillen keep starring in films like this one because I think the two of them could have a big future in acting. Ashely Scott that I wasn't too sure about did a great job too playing Molly. She was very believible showing emotion & anger. Everyone of the cast was outstanding in their own way which made this movie that much more enjoyable. The entertainment stand out as one of the most entertaining action movie Ive seen in a while since Live Free or Die Hard. Overall, 12 Rounds is worth paying to see & own when it comes to DVD. If you like massive explosions, exhilerating car chases, or solid gunfights you'll like 12 Rounds. If you into fighting, look somewhere else because this movie doesn't contain that at all. It's a fast-paced version of speed that keeps going & never stops. It's an intense experience that you just want to experience all over again. 12 Rounds is a highly entertianing action adrenaline pumping fueled thriller with excellent storyline & mindblowing stunts.

Now, Jack & Eddie is in a race against time as they are surrounded by cops who want to bring them down. Jack must keep Eddie alive from Nugent & the crooked cops & make sure that they reach the courthouse before they end up dead.
16 Blocks is a great action film filled with exciting twists & turns that will have your heart racing. From the start it pulls you in by getting right to the point & your in for the ride. It's complete nonstop action that never lets up till the very end. Doesn't have time to stop for anything as Bruce & Mos keep running throughout the film trying to survive. There is plenty of gunfights & full of violent situations that they have to face. 16 Blocks is just faced-paced entertainment that you get hooked on. The plot is one of the best I've heard & very powerful with great acting. Bruce Willis is still the man kicking butt & doing what he does best which is entertaining the audience. Mos Def is really good as Eddie panicking wanting to stay alive. I think that Bruce & Mos made a good team working out their differences in the life or death situation. David Morse also gives a outstanding performance as Nugent, the crooked cop on Bruce & Moss's tail to stop them from talking. I actually think Morse almost stole the show. I've seen him in other films where he's good but in this he's about oscar-worthy. Overall, if your looking for a great action/thriller with enough suspense to go around then this is for you. 16 Blocks is actually one of the best action flms of 06. I enjoyed every minute of this watching the acting & exciting action sequences that keep you on the edge making you feel that your right there with Bruce & Moss. 16 Blocks is a hardcore action-packed rollercoaster thrill ride that will have your heart pumping that you don't want to be over.

Watchmen is based on the best selling graphic novel about superheros who have been watching over & protecting the innocent for years. Now one of the superheros whose name is The Comedian (Jeffery Dean Morgan) has been murdered & the other Watchmen don't know who did it. Rorshach (Jackie Earle Haley) is the first one who starts the investigation by looking for clues to unravel the mystery. Rorshach begins to realize that he can't do this on his own. So he goes looking for the other Watchmen, Night Owl (Patrick Wilson), Silk Spectre (Malin Akerman), Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup), Ozymandias (Matthew Goode) & gets them together to fight crime one last time. Watchmen is an extremely well done entertaining superhero film. Its filled with brillant visual effects that blows you away. It has huge amount of graphic bloody violence which is kinda gross at times. It has good fight sequences around every turn. Theres quite a bit of sexuality which is also pretty graphic. The language is pretty strong. Everything in this movie is just plain ole graphic. The acting was excellent from the cast. I thought everyone did a fantastic job with their characters. They were absolutely believible. I really enjoyed watching Malin Akerman on screen. She is was just so beautiful & stunning that I couldn't take my eyes off her for a second. Overall, Watchmen is a superhero movie but different from others. Its really an open mind intelligent superhero action/drama that you really have to pay attention to understand whats going on. So if you can do that you'll love Watchmen even though you haven't read the book. I've never read the book & I really enjoyed it. So go watch Watchmen you won't be disappointed. Watchmen is a heart pounding superhero actioner.

Punisher War Zone is the best Punisher movie to date. It blows the other 2 to shreads. It makes up for both of the other ones by showing what the Punisher is really made of. This is not a sequel just like the 04 Punisher wasnt to the 89 one. Its a whole new breed of Punisher movie that takes violence to a different level. Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson) is still suffering from his families death & is still seeking vengence on the people who are invovled with their murder. It starts off where a mob family who are having a meeting in a mansion, then all heck breaks loose as the Punisher comes in & disrupts them by torturing the whole crime family in some of the most brutal ways that he knows how. From there, Frank finds out that one of the crime family escapes whos name is Billy Russoti (Dominic West) & continues his mission seeking him out. Frank finds out where Billy is located at & wipes out his crew in more brutal ways. Finally, Frank finds Billy & eliminates him or so he thought. It just so happens Billy survived his torment that crushed his muscles in his face. Now Billy is now called Jigsaw. Jigsaw finds out about his long lost brother Looney Bin Jim (Doug Hunchinson) that is being held in a psychiatric penitentiary & frees him to join him & his crew. As Frank is dealing with matters in his own hands, Jigsaw wants revenge by getting back Castle for what he did to him. Jigsaw then decides to go on the street with his brother & gather some mob families around to take out Castle. Now Castle has to come face to face with his worst enemy, Jigsaw & his army that he has recruited in the biggest battle to the death. Punisher War Zone is the best movie i've seen all year. I enjoyed the heck out of it. It was by far more darker & entertaining than the last 2. It has a ton of over top action/gore that never slows down till the very end. It is a very fast paced movie with a great story & pretty good actors like the brillant Ray Stevenson who had a outstanding performance as the Punisher. He is one bad killing machine that knows exactly how to get the job done by punishing everyone in sight. Dominic West was another great actor in this movie who played the psychotic Jigsaw. Doug Huchinson that was Looney Bin jim played a great insain villian that was just crazy as he can be. Wayne Knight was the last one who I thought did a good job as Microchip who supplies everything for the Punisher. Julie Benz played her character well. Colin Salmon kinda went over the edge with his acting skills but he was still believable. Overall, this movie makes u want more from the Punisher & thats exactly what u get throughout. So far i think this is the best superhero comic book movie to be released. It brought the comic books to life by releasing everything that were in them. I recommend this movie for Punisher & action fans. Oh if u cant handle violence dont watch this movie because this is what this movie is all about. For the ones that can dig it, it has enough for u to cheer for. Punisher War Zone is an awesome brutality action packed movie. This is a new start for a great franchise for the Punisher. Go see it & have fun watching it. u will defenitly love the crap out of it, 5 stars.

Max Payne is a very cool revenge action flick based on video game about a cop (Mark Wahlberg) who is working on a cold case bout his families murder. Out for revenge, Max must search through the streets of New York City looking for clues that revolves around the murder of his family. During Max's investigation, he runs into a russian gangster named Mona Sax (Mila Kunis) who is also out for vengence for the death of her sister, Natasha (Olga Kurylenko). Now Max & Mona are on a quest to find & hunt down the ones who connect with the loss of their loved ones in a battle to the death.
I didnt really know how this movie was going to turn out but when i was finished watching it, I came out satified. I was so amazed how everything turned out in this movie. As i was watching the first half of the movie, I thought it started off a little slow but then began to pick up towards the 2nd half which made the movie good all together. The story thats in this movie is so much different than the one that is in the game but I still liked it anyway. I liked the way the director (John Moore) of this movie changed the script & made it his own. John made this addaptation interesting & one to follow well. The movie did stay true to the game by having very dark atmospheric scenery in the background which I was very impressed with. It had alot of nonstop action including gun battles & slow motion sequences when they were shown. I just wish this one had more shooting slo-mo sequences like the game did which was very disppointing. The visual effects during the action scenes were so awesome to watch. They were very loud & noisy. It didnt have action throughout but it had enough to keep you on the edge of your seat that were really intense. I guess thats why the director didn't want anymore than what was in this movie because they were so violent for a PG-13 rating. It was a very hard PG-13 with brutal violence, little amount of blood & brief strong language. The acting was fantastic from almost everyone. Mark Wahlberg did an oustanding job as max payne busting peoples heads & taking them out with heavy automatic weapons. Mila Kunis delieverd good as Mona Sax with a big machine gun by her side. Even though she had a small part, I thought she was one of the strongest actors in this movie who I was very suprised with. I was very impressed with Ludacris's acting as Jim Bravara. I thought he jumped Max's butt pretty good as the Internal Affairs Detective. He is probably one of the few rappers who has transferred into a good actor. Everyone else was decent but not as good as those three were. By the way, if you watch this movie, be sure to stay after the credits. Their is an alternate ending. I'm not going to spoil it for ya. Your just going to have to see it for yourself. Overall this movie is the best video game movie to date I think. Hoping the second one they make is even better. Not bad for the first Max Payne. I just hope the second one provides more action than story so it will be more true to the game & fans can enjoy it even more. I recommend this movie for hardcore Max Payne & action fans. You will definitely get your money's worth watching it if thats what you are. Max Payne is a very hardcore action/mystery with plenty of surprises & entertainment.

Taken is a heart pumping action/thriller bout a father/ex-special forces agent named Bryan (Liam Neeson) who finds out that his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) got kidnapped in Paris. Now Bryan has to use his special set of skills to take down the kidnappers & get back his daughter. This movie was so fast-paced with action at every turn with explosive gunfights & hand to hand combat. It didnt slow down for one minute. Taken was so very entertaining so u couldnt possibly get bored. It keeps u watching till the very end. Liam Neeson was brillant & intelligent just like he always is. He really kicks butt in this one. I thought this was his best performace & movie ever. Maggie Grace who plays Kim did a very good job as the daughter. Famke Janssen who is one of my favorite actreeses gives a heart warming performance as the mother who is worrying about her daughter. Everyone else were good on screen but those 3 are my favorite. overall this is a great action movie i'm sure everyone will enjoy. i thought it was the best action movie of the year so far. i recommend this movie for Liam Neeson & action/spy fans. Taken is a great action packed adrenaline fueled thrill ride, 5 stars.

Wanted is an nonstop action/scifi/thriller thats about a accountant named Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy) who hasn't always been living an ordinary life. Nothing is very special about him that he's aware of. He goes through stress related breakdowns. One night that all changes when a stranger named Fox (Angelina Jolie) embarks upon Wesley telling him that his father has been murdered. Wesley doesn't understand what Fox is telling him but when an assassin confronts the two of them, Wesley begins to relaize that Fox's isn't putting him on.
Later on, after Fox & Wesley escape from the assassin, Wesley meets a man named Sloan (Morgan Freeman) from a secret organization called the Fraternity. Sloan starts telling Wesley that his father worked for the Fraternity as an assassin. After Sloan tells Wesley that, Sloan wants to test Wesley his ability skills. Wesley passes but still doesn't believe what Sloan & Fox is telling him.
The Next day at work, Wesley snaps & gets sick of everyones crap by taking matters in his own hands that he didn't think would ever be possible. Wesley goes back to the Fraternity & wants to be the man his father was by getting trained through his father's trials. As Wesley is trying tin find out who he is, Sloan wants Wesley to avenge his father by gunning down the assassin who was responsible for his father's death whose name is Cross (Thomas Kretshmann).
After Wesley gets done training, he starts hunting down Cross & by using his father's super killing skills that requires curving & bending bullets in the most visualizing ways by being the best assassin ever.
Wanted is a entertainng ride from begining till end. It has alot good effects during the action scenes. The action in this movie is breathtaking. Theirs alot of gunfights throughout most of the movie that keeps you satisfied. This defenitly deserved the R-rating for sure because of all the bloody violence & language it had in it. The suspense was kind of predictable & then again it wasn't. It still shocks & suprises you though. The acting from the cast dida good job. James McAvoy who was Wesley shows off his english accent thats very impressive & fun to watch. James also makes a good action hero & comedian. Hope to see him in more movies like this one. Morgan Freeman who played Sloan was amazing as he always is. He shines up the movie like a new penny. Morgan is a well gifted actor. Then we have the sexy Angelina Jolie who was Fox. Man, she's so easy on the eyes. I thought this was one of her best performances. She proves that she still has what it takes to be an actress an action star. Common was good for his junior movie even though he didn't have many lines. I think he'll be big in the acting business one day. Everyone did a good job by making this movie succeed as an action movie. Overall, I did enjoy Wanted for what it was & can't wait for the sequel. Wanted is loaded with action that entertains & keeps you guessing. 3 1/2 stars

Hitman is based on the best selling action videogame about a hitman assassin known as Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) who finds out that he's been betrayed by his own company who wants him dead. Agent 47 is also being hunted by an Interpol agent (Dougray Scott) who wants to bring him in. Now Agent 47 must clear his name by doing whatever it takes to get his revenge. As Agent 47 is being hunted, he hooks up with a russian named Nadia (Olga Kurylenko) who helps him along the way with his mission. The Hitman will make sure that the evil cooperation & whoever else was in on wanting him dead get what they deserve as he uses his highly trained assasination skills against them.
Hitman was a great wall to wall action movie. I loved the gunfights & explosions that were in it. They were nonstop & didn't let up for a second. They picked a good actor to play the part as the Hitman. If they make a sequel, I think they should stick with Timothy Olyphant because he did great as Agent 47. I don't know who else could play the Hitman. I think probably Jason Statham could but he needs to learn english before he does. I still thinks he has the experience because he is all about kicking but i'm still sticking with Timothy Olyphant. Hope he's in the next one. I hate it when they change actors for characters in a movie. I just messes up sequels. Overall Hitman was a great action movie that I would just watch over & over again. It kept me entertained from the begining till the very end. I had a litt probably with the acting from these russians but they wern't too bad I didnt think. I'm sure they could do better but they were still okay for me. So far this is the best video game addaption ever made. When I watched it, I felt like I was playing the game. It was so cool. in the end, I recommend this movie to everyone who loves action-packed movies. Its a must see for all action junkies.

Quantum of Solace is a great bond movie. It was not better than Casino Royale but very close. If they just had a better story it would probably be the same as the 1st one. It did have the most action u'll ever see in a bond film for sure. The action scenes were very strong & long. They included gunfights, fighting, car chase, boat chase & plane chase all in one movie. They were all basically put together throughout the movie. Some of the action scenes reminded me from the bourne films. the acting was top notch from Daniel Craig. He played bond well just like he always does. Olga Kurylenko played her role well too. I think she's probably the best bond girl ever. She is so fine to watch in the movie. You just have to love her & her sexy accent. Everyone else i didn't really care for. They still did good for a bond film though. There was just something I didn't like about the movie & that was James Bond never said his line by introducing hisself saying "Bond James Bond." That just really upset me there because he always uses that line. The ending kinda upset me too but still tells ya that there's going to be a sequel which i'm really looking forward to. I defenitly got my price of admisson watching this movie. I didn't really have high expectations about this movie but when it was over I was very satisfied & glad I went to see it. Overall i recommend this for all bond & action fans. It's a fun fasted paced full action-packed bond film that I'm sure everyone will enjoy. 4 1/2 stars.

One night during a Christmas party, Derek & Lisa start dancing with each other. From there, Lisa gets a feeling that Derek is flirting with her. When Lisa believes that, she begins to take advantage over Derek. Derek doesn't like Lisa doing that to him on bit. Lisa doesn't understand why not. Lisa thought that Derek wanted to be with her but she was wrong. As soon as Lisa thinks that, she begins to stalk Derek everyday & night. Soon, Derek's life gets in jeopardy as Lisa tries to ruin his relationship with his wife, Sharon. Now, Derek must put his life on the line to make Sharon believe him before he ends up loosing her & their son for good. Finally, Sharon believes Derek for waht he's telling her. When nobody believes Lisa's side of the story, she goes above the line by trying to get Derek for good. When Lisa does that, Sharon finds out about it & ends up taking matters in her own hands by wanting to take Lisa apart to settle a score in love & war.
Obsessed is a very entertaining thriller. It's one of the best that I've seen in years. It's defenitly the new Fatal Attraction but not as good as that one was. I thought the script was lacking in parts but I still throughly enjoyed it. I also thought it could've been way better but still satisfying nonetheless. The acting was right on target from everyone on screen. Idris Elba was amazing as he stole this film with his incredible acting. He was absolutely belivable with his character. Ali Larter was so sexy & brillant with her role. Ali made a perfect bad girl wrecking everything. Now Beyonce Knowles, all I can say is WOW!. I was very surprised & shocked with her acting. I have to say I had very low hopes on her in the begining. Man, was I wrong. She just proved by this film that she has star power & has a big future waiting for her as an actress. Everyone else played their roles well & just were great as the main three were. Overall, I recommend this movie who wants to see a good entertalning little thriller that will spark up their day. It's defenitly worth checking out. I'm defenitly picking up a copy of it up when it hits DVD. i went to see lakeview terrace with very litt expectations. man, i have to tell u, after this movie was over with i was completely blown away of how great this movie turned out. it was a very entertaining intense thriller. it kept me entertained & interested from start to finsh. it never had any boring spots which was good. it holds ur attention till the very end. samuel l. jackson loves to do wat he does best & that is stealing the show. he is basically wat made this movie worth watching. he gives a break through perfomance as a cop named abel tuner who atalks this new couple chirs & lisa mattson who moves next door to him. he starts to disturb the couple when he sees a interracial relationship between them. as the disturbing content grows, the couple starts to fight back abel by harassing him the same way he did to them. this is a must see for all viewers. overall i recommend this movie for suspense thriller & samuel l. jackson fans. it is one not to be missed. the best movie of the fall & year so far, 5 stars.

Rise of the Lycans is a great prequel to the other Underworld movies telling the story about how the Lycans were slaves to the Death Dealers. It shows you how they battled it out before the war started. This one I think had the best plot out of the other two which makes it the best one out of the series. It keeps you interested & doesn't drag one bit. It keeps you throughly entertained. It has a brillant cast including the talented Lucian who was played by Michael Sheen. My second favorite actor in this movie was the lovely & sexy Rhona Mitra as Sonja. She was absolutley amazing as a vampire. I thought her performance was about the same as Kate Beckinsale's was. The last strong actor here is the fantastic Bill Nighy, the powerful vampire Vicktor. Everyone elses acting was believible enough to watch. This movie is filled with bloody fight sequences from start to finish. It has enough blood/gore to go around for anyone who craves for it. I really liked the end of the movie where it shows Selene sitting up on the ledge where the first one started off. That really suprised me & put a great end to the trilogy. In the end, I recommend this movie for anyone who like the other 2 Underworlds or just if you like vampires/werewolves. There is no way you couldn't like this movie. Its the best prequel I've ever seen. So be sure to check this one out if you loved the other two Underworlds. Its a jaw dropping heart pumping action packed thrill ride that doesn't stop till the very end. Rise of the Lycans is a masterpiece!!!!! 5 stars

this is the 2nd best video game addaption ever made. doom is a big action/adventure movie that keeps u entertained from begining till end. it has alot of action including gunfights, explosions, & suspense. this is also a very violent & bloody movie with alot of gore throughout. the cast did exceptionally well including the rock who played sarge. i thought he was amazing with his character. he shows everyone how mean & vicious a commanding officer can really be. this movie looked just like the video game especiially when they put the first person shooter in. i thought that was really part & cool for the director. he knows exactly how a video game addaption movie should be made. overall this movie was absolutely amazing & awesome. i recommend this movie for all violent action junkies who dont mind gore. if u do this movie is defenitly not for u trust me, great action/adventure video game addaption movie, 5/5 stars.

Mirrors is a real frightfest. This was probably the best horror movie i've seen in a very long time. It scared the crap out of me in parts. I kept jumping out of my seat when things happen with those mirrors. I recommend for everyone to see it if they like scary movies. Its also got a huge twist at the very end that you wont see coming. It was also a very entertaining movie to watch. My expectations were low when i went to see this but all that changed when it was over. I was very satisfied at the end. Its a great horror movie to go watch with friends or by yourself. Go see it, you'll definitly get your moneys worth. Best horror movie ever made i think. 5 stars

Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is fun sequel to action blockbuster franchise. This time Rick (Brendan Frasier), Eve, (Maria Bello) Jonathan,(John Hannah) & Alex (Luke Ford) are back in danger when Rick son Alex uncovers a new Mummy aka the Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) & brings him to life. From Chinatown to the dessert, the O'Connell's face the Dragon Emperor & his army in a battle to save the world once again. This Mummy I think is the best in the Mummy series because it has more action/adventure in it. There are daring escapes, chases, & gunfights throughout. Everyone did exceptionally well with their performance as always. I was really suprised with Maria Bello's performance as Eve. She sounds just like the other actress, Rachel Wiez. Maria really impressed me on that. Thought she was going to fail but she succeeded. Overall, this is a good entry. If you love the other Mummy movies you will defenitly love this one. Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a heart pounding rollercoaster ride. 4 stars

Later on, Eaden & her crew realize that its not going to be so easy contaning the cure when a vicious psychotic leader named Sole is hunting them down along with the rest of his infectious gang. Now, Eaden & her squad must fight against Sole & his gang to stay alive & find the cure before Doomsday comes. I saw Doomsday not knowing what to expect from it. Man was I blown away by how how good this movie turned out. This movie had a whole lot of action, violence & gore in it. It was one the most entertaining movies that I've seen, its that good. Warning, if you cant handle the violence thats in this movie, then you wont enjoy this movie because thats all it really has in it. Also as I was watching it, I noticed it was like Mad Max style which was a cool thing because those movies are awesome and this movie seemed like a remake of it. So that made it even more awesome to watch. Mad Max with a girl as the hero played by Rhona Mitra. She was so fun to watch in this one. Rhona shows what it takes to be a big actress & action star. In the end, this movie was awesome filled with spectacular violent action scenes from the start. For all you that endure action/horror you'll love this flick. Doomsday is a movie to die for thats full of hardcore action thats filled with mindblowing entertainment. 3 1/2 stars

the death dealers & lycans r bsck & better than ever contiuning with their war in this great visual action/horror movie . last time, selene & michael destroyed vicktor, leader of the vampire clan. this time, selene & michael must work together to face a new breed of terror/vampire named marcus (vicktors son) who is now loose from his prison by kraven. when marcus is free, he starts looking for selene who holds the key to marcus's brother william. now selene & michael must get to william before marcus does. if marcus gets to william, before they do it could be the end of both races. so selene & michael must stop marcus in everyway they possibly can.. this movie was full of nonstop action & bloody sequences. it was very violent & gory throughout. it also was filled with explosive entertainment that keeps u on the edge & doesnt let go till the very end. this movie might be too much for some ppl but if ur a fan of the first underworld u'll have no prob watching it. i have to say that this movie was better than the first b/c it had more action/violence. overall i recommend this movie for underworld, action & horror fans. its a amazingly well done fast paced action movie, 4 1/2 stars.

this was a great battle movie between the spartans & persians. i thought it had alot of special effects from the fight sequences which made it look like a superhero movie which i thought was really cool.. the acting was top-notch from everyone on screen especially from gerald butler who played leonidas. he was absolutely brillant as his character. i really thought the color & mood went great with the movie. also this is a very violent movie with a litt bit of gore to add in. overall this is a great action/war movie. i recommend this one to everyone who loves action movies 4/5 stars.

The Marine is a explosive action/thriller about an ex-marine named John Triton (John Cena) who gets discharged for diaobeying a direct order. Now that John is no longer a marine, he goes home to his beautiful wife (Kelly Calson) & plans to spend time with her till he can get back on track with things. Jonn tell his wife, that he can't sit around without dong anything. He tells her that he has to get a job so he can stay busy. So John finds a job as a security job for the mean time. Things get bad for John when a business man comes in & starts causing trouble. John gets fired for harming him. John goes home & his wife talks to him about going on a vacation, just the two of them. So they both agree on that & they start their vacation the next morning. As John & his wife are on the road, they end up stopping at a gas station where a professional criminal named Rome (Robert Patrick) kidnaps John's wife. Now John is back in action as he goes on a dangerous mission by getting back his wife & using his military skills to take out the bad guys one by one by any means necessary. I The Marine has alot of nontop action sequences that were very intense. It had the most amount of high intensity explosions I've ever seen in a movie. The movie did look kinda fake in parts but it was a very fun ride from start to finish. I really enjoyed every minute of this film. It had good entertainment value to keep you satisfied throughout. John Cena did a pretty decent job for his first flick. He didn't have much lines in this one but how much do you expect from someone's first starring role. John really kicked *** in this movie. He uses his wrestling moves which I thought was very cool coming from a wrestler. Kelly Carlson is very sexy to watch & look at. She gave a pretty good performance as well. Robert Patrick was a pretty good villian that was very edgy & vicious. I didn't really care for the other actors in this movie because their acting was so choppy. I know the other actors could've done a whole lot better on their acting. Thats the only reason you would have a hard time watching this flick but when the action heats up, its so entertaining to watch. You get shocked till the very end. Believe me, there is enough action to go around for the fans. Overall, I recommend this movie for action junkies. Its not a movie to be taken seriously, just one to watch by turning your brain off & enjoy. The Marine is full of action with spectacular adrenaline & nonstop thrills. 3 1/2 stars

Its a pulse pounder that takes your breath away. Chris Evans, Kim Bassinger & Jason Statham light up the screen that give the best performances in this film. They are right on target with their acting abilities. Cellular is a race to a minute action/thriller that will keep you on the edge with heart pounding action & breathtaking suspense. 4 1/2 stars

Gridiron Gang is a heart warming true story about a camp patrol officer named Sean Porter (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) who gets a few of young teen inmates together & makes a football team out of them. Sean does this by showing them how to use respect & care for one another. The other coaches thinks its a bad idea mixing the wrong up. Sean must prove them wrong by showing them he can make a difference & accomplish what he is set out to do by turning his team into winners. Gridiron Gang is very good sports/drama entertainment. The acting is so good it makes this movie oscar worthy. Dwayne Johnson seemed that he put his heart & everything he had in this movie. He should star in more movies like this because I think these roles suit him great. This movie is violent at times between the criminals. They just get so angry & do things that you don't want to see. Overall, Gridiron Gang is a deffinent must see for sports/the rock fans. Its a movie that will put a big smile on your face & one that you will never stop watching. Gridiron Gang is emotionally, exciting, wonderful, outstanding, excellent picture. 4 stars

This is a very powerful film filled with emotion & suspense. The acting was excellent from Phoenix & Travolta. Their both right on the spotlight. Everyone else had good performances. Ladder 49 is an emotional, heartbreaking, tale of what a true hero is all about. 4 1/2 stars

I just saw Street Kings & man I have to tell you that this was the greatest cop movie I have ever seen. I was just so amazed of how the acting turned out from all these actors. I though this was such a great movie with a great supporting cast & plot to go along with it. I wasnt bored one time while watching Street Kings. I was glued to my seat from start to finish. I couldnt take my eyes off the screen once. It hold your attention & keep you entertained throughout till the exciting conclusion. It had so many twists & turns that you dont see coming what makes this movie even greater. The Departed was great but Street Kings was amazing. So if you like movies that have a great story, suspense & action to go along with it. Go and see this you wont regret paying for your ticket. This movie is oscar worthy I think & it should be because of how amazing it is with really great actors. 5 stars

this is an awesome action/war movie. its very sad one though. it has an outstanding cast with strong performances. the action was very intense & realistic. sometimes it makes me feel a litt oozey when i see the brutal war scenes. they contain violent images of gore which is not very pleasant to see but thats how war is. overall this is a great entertaining war movie. i recommend this movie for war/action fans 5/5 stars

Now, Rick, Eve, & Jonathan must stay alive by fighting throughout Humanatra & find away to put the mummy back where he belongs. The Mummy is a great adventure movie. It held my attention throughout the whole movie. The action was breathtaking & nonstop in sequences. The CGI effects were amazing to look at. The Mummy was a cool monster played by Arnold Vosloo who gave a shocking performance. I enjoyed watching him take action in some of the most horrifying ways. Brendan Fraser made a great action hero as Rick in this filck. It was exciting to see him fight against the mummy. Rachel Weisz was gorgeous as Eve which also acted good. John Hannah made this movie kind of humorous which made this movie that much enjoyable to watch. Overall, The Mummy is a great flick to watch again & again. It's a movie that will be around & talked about for a long time. The Mummy is an action/adventure comedy full of heartbeating suspense, mindblowing special effects. 4 stars

The Cave is a very scary monster movie thats extremely entertaining throughout. Even though this movie is pg-13, doesn't mean that violence isn't there. It has alot of violence that makes this movie look R-Rated. The kills are pretty good when shown. The suspense is electryfying. The acting was decent from the cast. The Cave is just good horror fun for anyone to expereince. The Cave is a heart pounding scaretatic rollercoaster ride. 3 1/2 stars
