10/10 for the A-Grade Christian film. I am beyond impressed by the Hughes Brothers. Capturing the escence of Christianity, minus the usual B-(possibly C)Grade sappy story/acting ability and managing the appeal the modern day audience through copious amounts of blood shed. As usual, Denzel rocks my world with his powerful character portrayal and Mila proves expectations aren't the be all and end all and moves beyond her Jackie stigma. Gritty and dirty, but there is still a heart to this story.

Possibly Scorsese's best work, but that is a big call. I loved Leonardo's emotionally distubred Costigan, Queenan and Dignam's good cop/bad cop duo, Jack reliving the same sanity level experienced in Kubrick's 'The Shining'. However, the character that stood out to me was Sullivan. Seeing Matt Damon playing the bad guy for a change was an experience. Good intensity, good dialogue and brilliant camera angles.
