Impressed by how much they were able to squash into a little more than two hours. And yeah, I watched it in shitty quality and I wish I'd seen it in theatre. Nevertheless, I cried when District 11 showed their love to Katniss and I think the filmmakers did a very good job on this. Highly recommended!

So I lovedlovedloved the book and of course I couldn't help but compare the two. The film is far from as good as the book and honestly it doesn't do the book justice. The acting is incredible, but I was disappointed in the casting when it comes to the looks of "the white people". The only people who looked like they were described in the book was Minny and Aibeleen. The others looked too Hollywood perfect and it bothered me. Nevertheless, the story is good, and maybe I would have loved the movie more if I hadn't read the amazing book first.
