The Dark Knight 2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
Brilliant film and im not just saying that because of Heath Ledger(the joker is part of the films greatness though)...Though it could do with being a 15 and not being so dummed down in some ways (like the fact it ends up getting so moral at parts)so it could escape with a 12a certificate(and therefore gain greater box office success), apart from that I loved it. The joker was great and made the film so dark and crazy (as well as stealing the show), but if he was alive he would never get an oscar for that sort of role in that sort of film, so I think its pretty wrong that people are even thinking of giving him one now that hes dead. If he was that good an actor then they should have given it to him in one of his best roles (Brokeback Mountain) and not try and redeem themselves now by giving it in his last film. I kinda went on a tangent but basically apart from a few minor flaws (such as the fact it wouldnt be half as popular if Heath Ledger was alive (which isnt at all the films fault) among other things), it is a great movie that has a faster pace than the first one and is generally more exciting. Plus they even manage to cram in a Cillian Murphy cameo which is great, considering the fact I thought it might be a weaker film without him, Katie Holmes and Liam Neeson starring in it, aswell as the fact that it had to live up to not only the hype but also the first ones success. However I was wrong, although the first was great, this one is better (probably).
