As a batman movie, this really erases the serious folly that was so ridiculous and over the top in the last batman films. This movie is serious, and has some serious effects as well as a very compelling story. Well done by cast and crew. Brilliant! |

Batman 1989, PG-13)
This is the first film treatment i ever saw where Batman was portrayed moreso as the Dark Knight than the campy caped crusader. He was born of tragedy, he was cloaked in the darkness of the murder of his parents. Somehow he found the resolve to turn that pain into something positive. And this film destroyed it's predecessors by presenting the story in that new light... or darkness, in this case. |

Halloween answers so many questions that the other movies never really addressed. Here in this movie we can finally understand who is the man behind the mask? He had a bad childhood, sure, but why was he a killer? What drives him? With this awesome film - you finally know. |

Now this was a flick that gives you plenty of reasons to jump out of your seat with the heebie jeebies. Very well done updated version of the original. i must say that Jessica Alba was splendid in the role & surrounded by a spectacular supporting cast. She plays the role of a young girl who gets her sight restored after an operation. Then with her new sight, somehow she sees things that aren't there, things her donor must have witnessed. When she begins to see ghosts, this flick will scare the pants off of you! |

What n amazing tie in to the other saw films! So many loose ends are tied up quickly & neatly, well, of course with saw it's never too neat is it? It's more like bloody hell, right? Very well done film! i just wanted Donnie Wahlberg former homeboy of the new kids to be used more. He was pitifully underused, but still it's a fantastic movie. Four stars! |
