Absolutely the most beautiful sweet movie I have ever seen in the Romance genre. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are great together. And, there is old school AOL.
My all time favorite romantic movie. I love Bette Midler. She's hillarious and enjoyable. The underlying plot between Paula Marshall and Danny Nucci is too wonderful!
I don't know how anyone could say anything bad about this movie. It's message is true; there is prejudice everywhere and in all of us. The acting was wonderful on all accounts as was the script.
This was a wonderful version, and Keira Knightley played the part just as she should have. The casting was great, the acting and scenes were beautiful.
The idea seems a bit strange at first, but its ties with history, its use of the actual locations, and a great dialogue help this to be a great movie that never gets old.
One of the best Bond movies in years. A prequel to the other Bond movies, in that this is about James Bond's early years as a double-0. Daniel Craig brought life to Bond. The story made James look more human, and showed how he later became the man that was. Great movie! And the songs are great.
This is a cult film for my family. We seriously memorized most of the lines in it. As far as muppet movies go, this one is a classic. Tim Curry! Come on! Anyway, it's funny and silly but a really good movie.
"Dead Tom's dead! Long John shot him!"
"But Dead Tom's always been dead...that's why he's called Dead Tom!"
This movie was funny and cute. Drew Barrymore was adorable. Hugh Grant was, as always, charming and silly. The plot was sweet and effective. Great movie, highly recommended!
Con Air is a little corny, a lot of action, but it is a great movie. Steve Buscemi is so funny, he is wonderful in this, even with not being the main character. Dark humor and great music, and of course, Nicolas Cage!
Oh gosh, this movie is one of the best romantic comedies around. Kevin Kline is wonderful, witty, and sexy. Meg Ryan is just as she always is in these films. The plot is interesting and it's actually funny!
For being a major chick flick, this movie actually has a very good plot. The idea that begins the movie is interesting, although probably not likely.
Kate Hudson is adorable and funny in every character that she plays. The story inside the story is interesting, as is the real romance that blooms between Alex and Emma. It's a great movie over all.
Do not read the book...nothing like the movie. However, the movie is funny and smart. Dianne Lane is sweet and plays a very down-to-earth character. It's a fun movie, with a good plot.
For being a chick flick, this movie really does have a good plot. You do have to suspend reality for the whole time travelling thing, but once you get over that, it's very sweet.
This is a great movie, and one of the best he has done as far as comedy. Some of the scenes are so absurd, that you have to laugh at them. Take a chance on it because it really isn't so awfully annoying :-p
This is based on a Shakespear play, did you know? Shakespear's 12th Night, a comedy about love triangles gone wrong and misdirected love. The transition from play to movie is done very, very well.
So the plot has built in success, the script is well written, funny and sweet. Amanda Bynes is so funny in her facial expressions, voices, and delivery that you will be laughing out loud. Throw in some attractive guys and you've got a great movie.
If you can suspend reality long enough to go along with the story, then it really is a good movie. It's the first time I have actually liked Keanu Reeves in anything.
Although it is fairly predictable at times, there are parts where it's very nice, and heartfelt in a way that is not forced. Sandra Bullock never stops being perfect, enjoyable, and beautiful.
I wish I had seen the show before I watched this, because the characters were so good and I wanted to understand them more.
Even without seeing Firefly, the movie was fantastic. The action scenes were great and I really found myself getting into the world that was created. An awesome film that's worth giving a try.
This movie is so aweseome and I don't know that many people who know about it. Everyone should see it at least once. The songs are catchy, the story is a bit strange, but thoroughly enjoyable.
This movie was much better than I thought it was going to be. The plot runs smoothly, it stays very interesting and goes quick. The story within a story is displayed wonderfully.
Look for the constant use of red, consciously chosen. There are very interesting ways to get 23 in each scene. Count the letters in words, the license plates, etc.
It has a twist ending that I certainly did not expect, but which fit in and was explained well. Worth seeing at least once (maybe twice because you miss a lot the first time).
Oh, and Jim Carrey's hair is wonderful in this! Seriously, I just want to brush it :D
