The Princess Bride 1987,  PG)
The Princess Bride
Need I say anything. One of the most perfect films: comedy, action, romance, suspense. Anyone who does not like this film does not have a soul.
2
Once 2007,  R)
Once
OMG!!!! The best film I've seen all summer. Absolutely gorgeous in all respects; story, characters, acting, music, visuals. I can not encourage people enough to see the film, then buy the soundtrack, then see the film again.
3
The Dark Knight 2008,  PG-13)
4
The Fountain 2006,  PG-13)
The Fountain
I could watch this movie every day and never get bored. Beautiful performances from all involved. For the average movie goer, it's probably not something worth your time. For anyone who studies film or appreciates creative filmmaking, this is a must-see. Obviously a labor of love from Darren.

Moulin Rouge! 2001,  PG-13)
Moulin Rouge!
Changes the way you look at movies. Don't let the first 15 minutes scare you out of an excellent revival of the Hollywood musical.
10
An Affair to Remember 1957,  Unrated)
An Affair to Remember
One of my all-time favorites. Beautiful, classy... damn, I wish they still made movies like this.

12
Love Actually 2003,  R)
13
Waking Life 2001,  R)
14
Saw 2004,  R)
Saw
Changed my view of horror films. An intreguing plot, light on the on-screen gore, low budget, kick ass finale. Overlook the sub-par acting due to lack of prep time, and you have a quality horror film that breaks new ground in the genre.
15
Mary Poppins 1964,  G)
Mary Poppins
One of, if not my favorite Disney movie. I'm surprised I was able to sit through all 2.3 hours as a kid. Dick Van Dyke is practically perfect.
