A movie that is truely timeless. I can't believe this was shot in the early 30's. This was my first taste of Hawks and now I see why he's one of the most influencial directors. Some of the best cinematography ever captured. DePalma's remake borrows heavily from this classic.

I was blown away from the first frame. Usually when I see a great film I say 'I hope I can make a film this good one day'. When I was watching 'Inception' I said to myself 'I will never make a film this good'. 'Inception' is now one of my favorite films and it's so good that I it reminded why I love movies so much in the first place. See it now.

Finally got around to seeing this and I was not disappointed. This is one of the best prison dramas ever made. It's long, but well worth it.
