The Incredible Hulk 2008, PG-13)
AWESOME. This film blew me away and delivered in spades. Edward Norton made a great Dr. Bruce Banner emulating the late great Bill Bixby (RIP). There are nods to the tv series which the first film sorley lacked. This was action-packed, sweet, emotional, and butt kicking. I ahve to give props also to Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky aka Abomination. this was just one creepy dude who thirsts for power but like Banner ends with tragic results.Willim Hurt made an awesome General "Thunderbolt" Ross who is intent on capturing the hulk for military purposes. There are nods to Captain America and the super soldier program that created him. Great fun flcik and nice to see Marvel is back and in a big way. |

The Thing 1982, R)
One of the best horror flicks made. Unfairly bashed at the time of it's release, The Thing remains one of the creepiest,scariest and frightning flicks made. It also perfectly captures the fear and paranoia of the men stationed in a place where there is no help. like MacCready said "no on trusts anyone". |
