Rooster Cogburn is a gruff tough as nails old codger of a lawman who helps a young girl avenge the murder of her father. This is definitely Wayne's best heroic roll. Plus, seeing him shoot with both guns while steering the horse with his teeth, is a scene every western fan must see.
