A Love to Hide (Un amour a taire) 2005,  Unrated)
A Love to Hide (Un amour a taire)
EXCELLENT MOVIE! I highly recommend you see this movie. A gay love story and more that takes place in France during the Nazi rule of Germany. Very touching and emotional movie. The movie is in French with English subtitles.
6
Shortbus 2006,  Unrated)
Shortbus
Excellent movie! The sex scenes alone are worth 5 stars, lol (and there is one after another). But actually the sex scenes are metaphors for what is going on in the main character's lives (a gay male couple and a straight couple) and by the end of the movie you are able to look past the sex and see a great heart-touching movie. Believe me, the sex scenes would be considered porn here in America (they show everything!). Yeap, HOT to the touch! lol. But again, despite all the hot sex scenes, you will see a great heart-touching movie that will bring tears to your eyes by the end. And the "Making of Shortbus" in the Special Features is just as good as the movie! I recommend you buy this movie!

Hotel Rwanda 2004,  PG-13)
Hotel Rwanda
Excellent movie! I saw this a while back and thanks to my new friend Brad recommending another movie with Don Cheadle in it, I thought about this movie. This is the true story of one man who showed remarkable courage during the genocide that happened in Rwanda by hiding over 1,000 refugees in the hotel he managed. This movie will really stir up many emotions in you. To think this is a true story is scary. Don Cheadle is great in this movie. I recommend adding this movie to your collection.

Transformers 2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
EXCELLENT movie! Loved it! I thought maybe it was a "kiddy" movie and never thought I'd like it. I LOVED it! Great sci-fi movie with great special effects and a lot of quirky humor. As great as Spider-Man 3 was this was even better in my opinion. It will have you on the edge of your seat rooting for the good guy, ummm, I mean good robots, lol. Who'd think you'd get teary-eyed about robots? lol. I'd recommend buying this dvd so you can watch it over and over.

A Home at the End of the World 2004,  R)
A Home at the End of the World
Excellent movie! I've watched this movie 4 or 5 times now. I thought I had already rated it. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Colin Farrell plays Bobby, a bisexual guy who falls in love with his childhood friend (and step-brother) Jonathan (Dallas Roberts) who is gay and Jonathan's female roommate Clare (Robin Wright Penn). The 3 of them start a family together, buy a house and have a baby but along with the good times comes some bad and very sad times. Sissy Spacek does a great job as the mother of Jonathan also. Very heart-touching movie. A tear-jerker for sure. But some hot scenes also!

Latter Days
Great Great gay romance movie. It will have you laughing and crying. Steve Sandvoss is hot and does a great job as the gay Mormon Aaron. Be sure to check this one out!
28
Mysterious Skin 2004,  NC-17)
Mysterious Skin
Great movie! Definitely worth buying (like I did). Joseph Gordon-Levitt is HOT! The only thing I disliked about it was it supports the stereotype that all gay people do drugs. At first, you may get the impression that this movie kind of supports the stereotype that molestation is what makes you gay too. Both of those stereotypes are far from the truth. But if you notice in the movie, the guy (Neil) says he knew he was "queer" at 8 years-old or earlier and that he had a crush on his Little League coach when he first saw him, in other words, he already knew he was attracted to the same sex BEFORE the molestation. And they never really say or show what the sexuality of the other guy (Brian) who got molested is. Sometimes you get the impression he's straight and other times that he may be gay. Anyway, definitely worth watching.
29
The Queen 2006,  PG-13)
The Queen
Excellent movie! Thanks to my friend Ross for recommending. This movie is kind of a "behind the scenes" look at what was going on with the Royals during the death of Princess Diana. They show a lot of real footage of Diana before her death, the people mourning her and from her funeral, which brought it back to me like it happened yesterday and brought tears to my eyes. It was also kind of sad to see the Queen putting aside her traditional beliefs and it was wild to see her being a "regular human", doing things like walking home and driving her own 4x4 through a river. I thought the Queen would always have a driver. Helen Mirren definitely deserved that Academy Award for her part as the Queen. This one is definitely worth buying.

Touch of Pink 2003,  R)
Touch of Pink
This was a pretty good movie. It's a gay romantic comedy. It's about a guy named Alim who was raised Muslim and who is living in London with his English boyfriend Gilles. His mother, who lives in Canada, doesn't know he's gay and she comes for a visit. After finding out what is really going on, the mother heads back to Canada and Alim & Gilles go their seperate ways. Alim goes to Canada to straighten things out with his mother. And well, you'll have to watch to find out the rest. Oh, one more thing, Alim has an invisible friend who happens to be Carey Grant, who helps him along with his problems. Some parts were kind of slow and not the greatest but all-in-all, it was a great movie that's worth seeing.
31
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 2007,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Excellent movie, just like the previous 4. Great special effects as usual. The only slight complaint I have is that it ended right when it had gotten really good and all the action was starting to happen. Now I can't wait for Part 6 to get here! Definitely worth buying. I got the special edition and the special features like "The Secrets of Harry Potter" are great. You also get a digital copy to put on your computer or MP3, etc... to watch. Definitely check this one out especially if you've already seen the others and are a Harry Potter fan.
32
The Trip 2002,  R)
The Trip
This was a pretty good movie. It's a gay romantic/comedy/drama film. It's not the best "gay" movie I've ever seen but I enjoyed it. I watched the "deleted scenes" in the special features and I tell you what, I think if they had used some of those scenes/versions of events instead, I would have given this 5 stars. Definitely worth watching and adding to your collection, especially if you can get it for under $6 like I did, lol.
33
The Bourne Ultimatum 2007,  PG-13)
The Bourne Ultimatum
Loved this movie. Action-packed from beginning to end like the previous ones. No dull boring stuff. Definitely worth watching and buying the dvd to add to your collection.
34
The Golden Compass 2007,  PG-13)
The Golden Compass
Excellent movie! I loved it. Besides being a big fan of Nicole Kidman and of special effects, this movie just flowed well and had lots of action. The only thing you might not like is the somewhat abrupt ending but it was done like that in plans for 2 sequels, "The Subtle Knife" and "The Amber Spyglass", but as of now, it's not known if the sequels will happen because "The Golden Compass" didn't do well here in the USA though it did great in other countries. I hope they do make them. I know I'll be watching.
35
Third Man Out 2005,  Unrated)
Third Man Out
Great movie! Chad Allen was great in this, not to mention hot. But some of the other acting wasn't the greatest but still was a great movie all-in-all. Be sure to check it out and watch the "Featurette" too, which is interviews with the Director and Cast, including Chad Allen talking about being gay and out. Great stuff.
36
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007,  PG)
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Loved this one. Great action and special effects packed movie. This one's worth adding to your dvd collection, especially, of course, if you already have the other ones in this series.
37
X-Men: The Last Stand 2006,  PG-13)
X-Men: The Last Stand
Excellent movie. Again, love the action and special effects. Definitely worth adding to your dvd collection.
38
Gone Baby Gone 2007,  R)
Gone Baby Gone
This is Ben Affleck's Directing debut and he did a great job. Excellent movie! A lot of twists and turns. Just when you think it's going to end, it's just starting and when you think you know what happened, it's something different. Definitely worth watching and adding to your collection. Be sure to watch the bonus features too which has a "Behind the Scenes with Ben Affleck" feature.
