Of course this movie was awesome and I had no doubts about that. Like all the other Saw films it had a great storyline and they always seem to tie the movies together even though they might have different actors. I think the writers they have to do these films do a really good job because every new Saw that comes out has a different story, but yet it still ties into the previous films. There wasn't as many big name actors in this one but they all did a great job. I'm very impressed as to how they have made four films in this series now and they all are done very well. It seems to me that they bumped up the gore factor a bit in this one too, but it still has a good storyline to go along with it. It has a cool twist at the begining of the movie and as always has a big twist at the end as well. The plot twist at the end is what makes these films that much better. This one tells the story of Jiggsaw in a bit more detail which is a cool addition. If you liked the other films then I suggest you see this one as well because you won't be disappointed. |

Knocked Up 2007, R)
This movie is an instant classic! Judd Apatow has done it once again and made another great film. I wouldn't say it was as funny as The 40-Year-Old Virgin but came close. He brought together a lot of the cast from the show Freaks and Geeks and they all did a great job. I haven't seen Jay Baruchel in a lot of things but he did a really good job as well. You'll laugh from start to finish. Definitely one of the best comedies to date and one of the best films of 2007. It's definitely worth checking out and I can't wait for the unrated version to come to dvd. |

Superbad 2007, R)
This movie was hilarious!!! Not the funniest movie I've seen this year, but one of the best. The same guy that did The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up did this film so I knew from the start that it was going to be a great movie. Again, it was really good but not as good as the other two films I previously mentioned. Jonah Hill was hilarious as always. Seth Rogen didn't have a major role in this one but was funny as well. This was the first movie I saw Michael Cera in and I think he did a great job...absolutely hilarious! This is definitely a film to see and pick up on dvd when it comes out. |

This is the third and believed to be the final film in the series, but is as good as the other two in my opinion. A really good film with action from beginning to end. Matt Damon did a great job in this one as he did in the other two. A great supporting cast as well. This is definitely a must see and a buy when it comes to dvd. I just hope they stop with this one and don't continue the series until it sucks. |

Sam Raimi has done it once again with another great directing job. This was a great film but was overhyped. Bryce Dallas Howard stole the spotlight from Kirsten Dunst in my opinion. Thomas Haden Church made a great Sandman. The only problem I had with Sandman was how he turns out at the end. You'll see what I'm talking about when you see it. Tobey Maguire did another great job as Spider-Man, but it was Topher Grace's character (Venom) who I thought was the best. Topher added his humor to the role which made you like Venom even more. There were too many cheesy parts in this movie though which is why it didn't get five stars from me. There was also probably a little too much dialouge as the movie ran around 2 and 1/2 hours. James Franco (Harry) is a villian in this film as you can tell from the preview but I don't like what they did with his character either in the end. An all around great movie, but the length and lack of action makes me think that they should probably stop here unless they can really wow me with the next one. |

Another awesome addition to this movie franchise. While it wasn't quite as good as the other two it still was very entertaining, had lots of action, a great story, and a great cast to go along with it. It's good to see that Ali Larter is getting more recognition now with her show (Heroes) and now a big role in this film. She is a good actress and has been in some really good films. Ali was good but Milla stole the show of course. Another great acting job added to her already superb list of roles. This is believed to be the final film in this series and as great as all these movies have been I rather them end it now and end it on a good note then keep making them just for the sake of making money. While all three films were really good this one wasn't quite as good as the other two. They do end the movie making you believe there would be another one, but let's hope they stop with this one unless they have an awesome script and a great cast to go with it. Milla has said this is the last one and if they do make another I'm not sure she would do another one. If they do decide to make another one and Milla doesn't do it then they are guranteeing that it will suck. I can't see anyone else doing as good a job as she did. With all that said, this is definitely a film to go see and pick up on dvd when it comes out. |

Hostel: Part II 2007, R)
Wow! Eli Roth continues to shock and amaze me with his films. While Part 2 wasn't quite as good as the first overall it had it's strong points. For instance, Eli pushed the gore I think in this one a little further than he did in the first one. Was a great story and pretty much the same with a little bit of a different twist. Even though it's the same place and the same system is used to get kids to go there it wasn't really mysterious as it was in the first one. You knew about what was going on after the first one and knew what was happening so in this one they took you behind closed doors to show you how it all works. How these people are being chosen to be killed and by whom. It was an interesting angle to see and even though the same concept of the first it had this different twist which made it different. I was really impressed with the storyline and how well it moved and the gore was really out there. Very realistic and you felt you were there at times. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because the acting wasn't as good as it was in the first and the storyline wasn't as good either. The gore and different angle of this film really made it better in my opinion though than it would have been without it. It's definitely worth buying and I don't see Eli Roth making a bad movie anytime soon. Everything he has done so far has been gold in my opinion and Quentin Tarantino produced it so with that combo there is no denying it would be a great film. |

This was one great movie!!! It had suspense, mystery, and even a little comedy. Nicolas Cage gave an outstanding performance in this film. You think you have it figured out halfway through the movie, but you don't. It has an awesome twist at the end. I would suggest this film to anyone who likes a really good Mystery. |

The Weather Man 2005, R)
I thought this movie was hilarious. Not the funniest movie I've ever seen, but it's a diffrent type of Comedy. It has one of the best lines in a Comedy that I've ever seen..."What, you mean I'm stuck here with cameltoe?" LOL. Nicolas Cage did a great job in this film. If you like a Drama/Comedy then you'll like this film. |

This is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time! Simply awesome! It definitely stayed true to the comics. Nicolas Cage once again did a great job. I couldn't see anyone else better to play this part. He had a great supporting cast to back him up as well. The visuals were superb! Great story, acting, and action. There wasn't a dull moment the entire film. They left it so they could make it a series of films and I can't wait to see the next one. This blows all the other comic character movies out of the water! It's a definite must see. |

Next 2007, PG-13)
This was a really awesome movie!!! Lots of action and great acting. Nic Cage has done it yet again with another awesome performance. Jessica did a great job as well and I don't think she has ever looked better than she did in this film. The ending was a bit surprising but good. I thought the movie was over and then they totally came out of nowhere with something diffrent. The ending was the only downfall to this movie. It was good, but they could have gone a diffrent route that would have given this movie five stars. Some people might not like the ending but I think everyone should check out this movie. I thought this was an awesome film!!! |

School for Scoundrels 2006, PG-13)
This movie was hilarious! Billy Bob Thornton was as funny as always. This film had an all star cast with the exception of Jon Heder. This was his best role to date, but he still hurt the film. If they would have cast someone else for that role then this movie would have been superb. Even with Jon in this movie, it was very well written and had great actors to go along with it. I recommend everyone go pick this up. |

This was the second movie by Rob Zombie. He did it once again with another great film. I liked the story line better in this one, but liked how House of 1000 Corpses had more gore in it. I missed how grandpa wasn't in this one though. He said some of the funniest lines in House of 1000 Corpses. Bill and Sid gave another great performance in this one too. If you liked House of 1000 Corpses then you're gonna love The Devil's Rejects. |

Escape from L.A. 1996, R)
This movie was awesome! One of Kurt Russell's best roles. Steve Buscemi was funny as always. The Snake Plissken character is one of the best characters in any action movie I've seen. This movie will keep your interest from start to finish. It also had Bruce Campbell in the film as the plastic surgeon. I definately liked Escape From L.A. better than I liked Escape From New York. This is one great Action movie. |

I don't know why I see so many people saying that they didn't like the movie. It seems quite a few people want to say how bad it was and that it was a remake and all that but you knew it was based off the original film in the first place so you can't complain about it because you knew. Now, with saying that, I loved the movie. I don't agree as to how some people say it's an exact remake of the original because it wasn't. It had some of the same elements, but besides that was a diffrent film. It showed more of how Michael became how he was and showed his childhood which really added a diffrent element to the film. Rob Zombie of course did a wonderful job with this and so far, in my opinion, is one of the best Horror movie directors out there. I really look forward to seeing what else he can do or if he sticks to Horror. Either way he is a great director. He added a gritty feel to this film and I loved every minute of the movie. It kept moving with the storyline and had a lot going on so it keeps you interested from beginning to end. I think it's a definite must have when it comes out on dvd, but that's just my opinion. I think that this film will definitely go down as one of the best. Both because of the director but also as to how Rob reinvented this series and brought it back to life because it was starting to go downhill. I think John Carpenter would be proud as to how it turned out. |

One word to describe this movie is AWESOME!!! It was entertaining from beginning to end. Two great films at one seating. I wish more directors got back to making movies this way. Rodriguez and Tarantino are two of the best directors alive today. Both of these movies had gore, action, and laughs. Between the two I liked Tarantino's Death Proof better than Rodriguez's Planet Terror but both were awesome!!! Great cast as well. Best Kurt Russell role since Snake Plissken. The fake trailers looked very interesting as well. I hope they actually make them into movies. Both Rob Zombie's Werewolf Women of the SS and Eli Roth's Thanksgiving. I'm sure they will be masterpieces as Death Proof and Planet Terror were. If you haven't seen Grindhouse yet, then go see it right away...you won't be disappointed. |

Smokin' Aces 2007, R)
This is one great film. Lots of action and a great story to go with it. An all-star cast provides some really good acting as well. Jeremy Piven was hilarious as always. There were some newcomers to acting as well including Alicia Keys who I was really suprised with. I didn't think she would do as good a job as she did. There wasn't a slow moment the entire film. Jason Bateman didn't have a very big role but is memorable. There was a pretty good gore factor as well which was a nice bonus. I would definately recommend this film to anyone who loves Action movies with a great storyline. |

Déjà Vu 2006, PG-13)
This was an awesome film!!! I loved it. It had action, drama, and a little comedy as well. Adam Goldberg provided the comedy and was really the only one that was funny, but this wasn't a Comedy so I didn't expect a lot of it. Denzel, Val Kilmer, James Caviezel, and Paula Patton all did great jobs. I don't know Paula Patton and I guess she's new to the acting business, but she did a really good job. I would say this was probably James Caviezel's best role since the Passion. I don't remember a lot of his roles but his role in this film will be remembered. Denzel of course did a great job as always. I'm not a big fan of Val Kilmer but the last two roles I've seen him in have been great. Those roles being his part in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Deja Vu. This was an all around great film. Everyone should check it out and pick it up as soon as possible. |

Transformers 2007, PG-13)
I never really was into Transformers when I was younger so when I heard they were making a movie about them I thought to myself that it would suck but I was wrong. This movie was awesome!!! This film had non-stop action, comedy, a great story, and good acting to go along with it. I was especially impressed with Shia LaBeouf's acting in this one. This was his best role to date and he did a great job. I was also surprised as to how funny he was. Anthony Anderson was hilarious in this one. One of his best roles to date as well. I definitely recommend everyone see this as soon as possible. You won't be disappointed. I would say this is one of the best films of the year. I can't wait to it comes out on dvd and the way it ended it seems they will make another one. I look forward to seeing where they go from here. |

Pathfinder 2007, R)
Awesome movie!!! It had nonstop action throughout the entire film. It also had some of the best fight scenes I've ever seen. Just absolutely ruthless!!! I loved the whole viking storyline as well. It wasn't just great action and blood and guts but also had a great story to go along with it. I recommend if you're a fan of true Action/Adventure type of films that you go pick this up as soon as possible. |

A really strange film and a movie you had to really pay attention to. I thought John Cusack did a really good job in this film. It keeps you guessing and when you think you have it figured out they flip it on you so that you don't figure out what's going on. The story moves really well and has lots of action and suspense in it. It's a film worth buying and adding to your collection. |

This movie was awesome! I loved it! It was interesting from start to finish and moved very well. There wasn't a boring moment in the entire movie. Timothy Olyphant did a great job and after seeing him do this role I couldn't see anybody else playing this part. Whoever signed him up for this movie picked the right guy. If you have ever played the game you know that Timothy had to of played the game some because he was dead on with the character. He had the walk down, the sneakiness, the facial expressions...all of it. I only didn't give it 5 stars because I wished there was a little more action and wished it would have went a little longer but this movie as a whole is pretty flawless. Definitely brings some respect back to the video game films because they make so many bad ones you have to have a really good one to make up for it. Go out and see this is soon as possible and when it comes out on dvd then definitely pick it up. |
